I have made two separate attempts to shop here. The first time, I got yelled at for walking in with a coffee. I immediately turned around and left.. The second time, I watched another customer get yelled at for not wanting to share her personal information (phone number) at check out. Again, walked right out. Such a great job attracting new business!

Customer service representative disgracefully insinuated a racial slur asking if it was necessary to try on a pair of pants because she jumped to the conclusion that I couldn't afford to buy it because of my skin color. Whole staff ought to be ashamed of themselves.

ShiShi Boutique is a one of a kind antique boutique. I have never left the boutique without something new. I am very happy with the customer service at this Boutique, I love shopping here!
The most comfortable T shirt I've ever owned. The brushed lotus shirt just feels so light and cool on the body, too bad it is so expensive.
I have never had such a horrible experience. I went in to exchange a gift which was a small bowl and a spoon. the owner grudgingly took it. Without even looking it up she stated that it was only $50. I didn’t see anything there for that amount. While she was having a long conversation about her mice infestation I touched some items. I did not want to interfere with her mouse conversation. The person there admonished me for not reading her signs to not touch. When I asked her the price of a bowl she told me $120 even though it said $108. When I pointed that out to her, she sold it to me for $108. When I asked for a box for the bowl she refused.

They won’t refund. Manager clueless (see photo). They said it’s their policy not to accept returns or do refunds. This is not H&M or Zara or even high end like YSL or Chanel. All of those stores do returns / exchanges. The manger pointed me to a very tiny print on receipt in Deutch! Seriously?! There is a little sign on the register but who reads that plus it’s misleading. BE AWARE of these SCAM ARTISTS! Absolutely redic. Manager also said I am not the first person to be surprised - unbelievable! There are other reviews that say the same thing.

This is my go to spot for the latest drops! They always come thru for me even with me living out of state! I highly recommend them to anyone!

Great local store with an amazing tasteful collection of homeware and decor. You could get lost in here! The people in the store are super nice and helpful and will really work with you to find amazing pieces to fit your home and style. They really invest in helping you find things you love (with no pressure). I also appreciate the eclectic selection and effort to source from designers around the world—it makes each piece feel so unique!
Happy Kangaroo never disappoints. There is always just the right home/apt gift that I am looking for or something perfect for my own home. The owner has such a chic sensibility and all of the staff is incredibly helpful. The store is a true gem on the UWS!

My favorite place in NYC to purchase gifts. The store is an oasis of unique gifts and home decor with a wide range of prices and gifts - everything from baby, wedding, housewarming, a greeting card, there something for everyone and every budget!

Rhonda has one of the most gifted eyes for home decor in NYC! I needed help buying and placing items throughout my house . Rhonda helped me find pillows, photo frames, vases , candle sticks, and really beautiful decor for over my fireplace. She is great with space, colors and always stayed within my budget. Be careful buying from them online it takes over 60 days to process a return I will never buy from them again worst customer service experience. No company should take over 60 days to process a simple return
I went into this shop because it looked so cute! I go in and try to lift up a lamp and a woman starts screaming at me "NO! No! Hello?! DON'T TOUCH THAT!" she runs over to me and practically swats my hands away. She then very condescendingly points to a tiny sign that says you can't touch anything in the store? She said "That's a $2,000 lamp" with a tone that clearly implied I couldn't afford it.
I was in the store for all of 2 minutes. It was the worst experience I've ever had. It left me feeling shamed and anxious the rest of the day. I have never felt so patronized. The way this employee behaved, it's almost like they would prefer not to have customers. Truly, truly wretched.

The associates at this Sandro location are super helpful and sweet. I had to return a dress I bought at the location but didn’t have my receipt due to a glitch in the email receipt system. They were able to pull up the invoice (since I had an account and bought from that store) and made it super easy for me to return the dress. Will definitely be coming back here for my Sandro purchases in NYC.

This is such a good store where the products have great quality and easy to style. The space is beautifully designed; the service is always fabulous. GiGi works with us this summer; she’s knowledgeable, patient, and responsive.

Unfortunately I have to give a 1 star to this business. I had put a deposit down for a pair of sneakers 2 months back. Mind you when i put the deposit not ONCE did Nelson mention to me that if a deposit was put down i was not able to get a refund. Neither did he reach out to me to let me know, Hey, your deposit is still here and want to let you know that I won’t be able to do a refund regarding on the time frame!!!

Store policy says no refunds, exchanges or returns everything is FINAL SALE. This pertains to if you had already BOUGHT SNEAKERS not for DEPOSITS. There’s a BIGG difference!! I bought a dress online and received a damaged item. I came to this store asking for an exchange, as their website said online orders can be exchanged in-store. The store told me the process is to refund the original item and repurchase it. I had to pay extra due to the tax difference and they told me to call customer service for a refund. But when I called the customer service, they told me I should have done an exchange which simply changed the item without any money transactions, and they didn't do a price match for a repurchase. I feel cheated and had to pay extra to exchange a damaged item.

What an awesome boutique. Beautiful clothes that have limited pieces, so you will not see too many people in the same items. The service you receive is very personalized and the owner is super friendly, helpful in every way and goes above and beyond.

RUDE blonde woman! I come here every time i am in NYC and buy things for my apartment every other month or so. I trudged through a snowstorm, rang the doorbell only to be greeted by the most rude woman, opening the door and just looked at me with a blank stare - i finally asked if they were open and without apologizing or providing any explanation, given the store hours posted they are clearly open on Saturdays, she said NO and slammed the door in my face. While most of the merch is garbage, occasionally i find some coasters, tableware, etc. and try to support a neighborhood business. NEVER AGAIN!!! Too many real design shops to waste my time and money here ever.
I always bring the special ladies in my life here to browse. The personal shopping experience you get at Shishi is second to none, especially for people who don’t like to shop. They will after they try Shishi!
Went on a Saturday afternoon and the service was so slow, we had to leave. Asked for a different size and the two guys in the women’s section never brought it.
Excellent shopping experience. Everyone working there is incredibly helpful. They create outfits for you, let them play dress up and you will not be disappointed with the results. Shishi has become my go to store when I need something new in my closet.

Bought a white jacket 3 days ago, it was on sale (50%), still cost $435, tried it at home with the dress I wanted to wear it with and it didn't match, and I never wear white jackets so wanted to exchange. Apparently it was final sale and can't be even exchanged, no one told me although two people helped me in the store and they knew I'm short in time and will try at home with the dress I'm about to wear. There's a very faint stamp that says "final sale, no refund". I didn't see it in the store and no one pointed this to me. Beware
Unfortunately, quality has gone down in recent years, and their customer service doesn't stand behind their products. I bought a shirt online, and after three wears and two washes, a small hole showed up in the fabric. I always wash my shirts in mesh laundry bags on a gentle cycle with Woolite detergent. Don't think I caused this, but the company refuses to acknowledge the defect could have been on their part. Will be avoiding James Perse in the future - shame, as the designs are indeed great.
This is one of my absolute favorite stores. They carry unique and chic styles that you can’t find anywhere else. And Yael and Stephanie are top-notch stylists. They love their clothes and provide personalized service to help women turn them into their own. I always stop by whenever I’m in NYC.
Xclusive Arrivals is one of the unique best stores in The Spanish Harlem community. The store offers a lot of unique sneakers that a customer will not fine at a bigger franchise store. The owner Nelson Martinez is very polite and friendly and engages you upon your entrance to find out what your taste is in sneakers and what the sneaker culture means to you. If you’re ever in New York City, Spanish Harlem. Take the walk inside the store and be mesmerized.
If you wanna get something that no one has top notch quality this is the place for a man that wants an exceptional look like no other. Everything made in Italy.
Great store. A wonderful selection of posters and the people there are really knowledgable, patient and friendly. The prices seem very fair. All together this was a great shopping experience in every respect.
If I could give them 10 stars, I would. Sam and team are phenomenal. Went above and beyond (including talking me out of additional services) to ensure my poster looked exactly how I wanted it. All my future needs will first go through Poseritati. Couldn’t recommend them enough.

I like the Italian style and quality but the value for money is not good. I bought a good pair of pair of jeans but the price tag is way over the top.
Excellent service! I stopped by the store to check out a raincoat in person before buying it online. Najeary was incredibly welcoming, nice and helpful. I will definitely return to this location in the future and would highly recommend it to a friend.

Not your average sneaker shop. They have all the exclusive, hard to find heat. They always have exactly what i need at a reasonable price. The owner is super cool and always willing to help find what you need even if he doesn't have it in stock.
Terrible experience here, terrrble return policies and customer service. Pushy sales people, pushy owner, disgruntled employees. Withhold employee paychecks according to a friend that use to work and the owner treats employees terrible too. Lots of employee turnover.

I had such an amazing time doing research here for my graphics design course. The gallery owner and manager, Sam is Absolutely Wonderful. He is so great to speak with and very knowledgeable about film. He is passionate about the gallery and will show you all his favorite books. The posters are arranged so well on their database. It is a lot of fun to search for them...everything you see, will make you say “OMG! I remember that movie or actor! “. You feel transported. Please make a visit to this gallery. There is not many places like this left in NYC.

The new place upstairs feels like a secret oasis. Lots of wood/natural materials and good lighting provide warmth along with the conscientious staff. Their events are surprisingly fun, too. Not to mention I feel amazed at their themes which you would think would be limited but I guess there are a hell of a lot of movie posters from all over and each country has their own genius. I may be biased but that's how I feel especially with the new location that highlights these features

If you want to get a pair of sneakers that is sold out everywhere, this is the go to sneaker shop! Consistently carrying the most wanted sneakers that are always impossible to get on your own. Stop in and talk to the owner, especially for reserving an upcoming release! This store is Harlem's best kept secret for the most Xclusive Arrivals in the sneakerhead community. Definitely recommend stopping in to check out the inventory and getting yourself a pair that will make you the envy of all your friends!
....I am in the UK, only problem was their information regarding customs charges etc was very misleading, i did exactly as they advised and then they put something different on the customs label...which meant i had to pay an extra £25 to get my poster, i had no choice as it was a gift, but i was very disapointed. I must say though before i purchased the poster Sam was very helpful ...it just all went awry once i had paid.
Sandro is a top notch. Champagne on certain holidays. Sandro's coats are easily recognizable because they mix leather and wool or cashmere in a classy way. The fur on Sandro jackets is remarkable.
Boardroom to Rave, you will not find more flattering menswear designed with the tall athletic man in mind. If you are looking for fine Italian Design and flattering lines, you need to wear Ari Soho.
