I needed to bring a gift back for my loved one, and the gentleman who, I guess, owns the shop, was a very kind, warm, and customer-focused individual. He even gave me a free calendar and another gift, for free, with my purchase. When I left the shop I said I would give him a good review, so here it is!!

This is a beautiful museum in NYC full of artifacts and stories of Jewish descendants.

I visited a Sunday early afternoon and it was fairly crowded. My favorite part was the exhibitions on the second floor 😁

I really had a fun time. 10/10 experience. It’s definitely a place that would be fun to go with your partner. Definitely should try and watch all the videos they have to offer. Take the slide down to the bar. It’s really unexpected
After getting off the subway you walk right into this amazing architecture it was incredible. The building looks smaller from the outside but it is much larger than it seem.
Didn’t go shopping as most stores were very expensive but great place to get photos and the architecture is amazing.
Wonderful store and an even more wonderful owner. I was impressed with the owner at the cashier greeting everyone coming in, talking with people as they paid for their souvenirs and giving away treats to patrons. I only bought two mugs, but took the time to compliment him for the way he treats his customers. It is indeed a wonderful store to buy souvenirs from NYC. Certainly worth visiting.

What a blast. For any adult looking to have fun and open-minded about sex this is a fun place. The adult toys for sale are obviously priced a bit high but the museum is what you're there for. The interactive experience is fun for damn sure. We went early in the day, it wasn't busy and we were able to enjoy everything. I took pics, but ya..... kinda can't post much here, lol. I recommend it.

I've always wanted to check this place out and wasn't disappointed. You're taken on a trip from videos and artifacts on sex toys, sex history through music, films, etc, and it's definitely a good teaching tool. My fav experiences were the game room, 4D Tunnel of Love and the Pink Room. I explored for about 2 hours bit could've lasted much longer. Overall, great experience.
Very nice little-known museum, right at the corner of Central Park, with excellent cafés around.
The exhibitions are rotating, but they make sure to include minority work and 50% women's art.
I took a tour which was included in the ticket price and enjoyed every moment.

The best souvenir shop in New York! The owner is very nice and friendly. His staff is courteous and helpful. They have a variety of souvenirs and gifts to buy for your loved ones. The prices are reasonable and way cheaper than buying at those expensive gift shops of places you tour. If you are looking for quality gifts this is the best souvenir shop to visit! Shot glasses, postcards, t-shirts, pens, mugs, stickers, license plates and many other great souvenir gifts! Highly recommend this shop! You won't be disappointed. 😁🙌🙌 D-LO Recommended 😃👍

We arrived here yesterday to pick up some ‘cheap’ NYC souvenirs before leaving for home. We spend about $80 which is a bit on the expensive side for us, but I guess it’s ‘cheaper’ than other places. The owner was at the register and he is probably the most humble and loveliest person in New York. He is a really generous guy and appreciates his customers. He know how tight money is these days and that we still buy from family owned stores like his. Don’t expect high quality goods for cheap prices, but I think it’s a fair price in 2023. Highly recommend visiting this place for NYC souvenirs.
It is an amazing shop ❤️ The prices were absolutely great, huge selection of souvenirs. Everything you can think of! I've been there twice now and hopefully I'll go back for a third time! The owner is amazing and really cares about the customers. Plus I got a gift of 3 beautiful postcards! Don't go anywhere else! Come here! Trust me! It's worth it!❤️ Thank you very much to the shop owner.😊

Amazing time at the museum and the shop! Please go!! But do not rush through the museum. Take your time to go through and really pay attention. There is so much in here and it’s easy to miss if you go too quickly. You can tell it’s been carefully curated and not just “oh it’s dirty or sexy so throw it in” - The shop staff was busy, but I get it, they were crazy busy with people and probably more worried about watching for people stealing and not worried about the ones buying.
It was an interesting experience. Not really my type of art but it was interesting nonetheless, especially the exhibit on disposable clothing from the 60s. My only real gripe is it is rather small, which is why I knocked off a star. There was also a Taylor Swift exhibit for extra charge which we didn't see.
Amazing by its architecture, huge building and a nice place where you can find a lot of shops. Even if you don’t want to buy anything you should go inside to see how special it is. Also, if you’re just passing by and you need a restroom you can go there 😄

It was very interesting. We had a lot of fun even with our time constraints. The price is certainly worth it with how much stuff they have for you to look at and games to play.
I would recommend you portion a good amount of time to look and explore their exhibits. We did not unfortunately, but still had tons of for the time we had.
Every employee was so nice and understanding. Can't say enough good things about it.
Food and Hugh end shop. Nice architecture but peferred layout of Westfield London. Signage could be laid out better.
This is an okay museum in NYC. The best part was that they offer free tickets to military.

There were three floors available for regular admission, and I spent about 45 minutes looking around. I don’t think it’s personally worth a $18 admission ticket for regular admission though.

On one of the floors there was a man with a thick accent who was yelling at people. I’m really not sure what the deal was because there wasn’t a line, and I was about 8 feet from any artwork. He yelled at everyone in my group, and I witnessed him do the same thing to several other people which led to a verbal argument with an older lady. No one understood why he was doing what he was doing. It just came off as really rude and confusing.

The situation just rubbed me the wrong way, and I left shortly afterwards.

On the bright side, I really enjoyed the paper clothing exhibit.

Dear Moma! Due to the unseccessful communication I had to contact you via this forum. We are quite disappointed. We purchased an item and sadly a part is missing. It was meant to be a surprise so the person who received it was also upset. As European turists we did not keep the payment invoice. It was also my mistake that I paid in cash. Currently I am here with a faulty product that could have been bought in ChinaTown or throug AliExpress. With all respect I request you to refund the money.

And answer this letter asap.

Go to the mirror exhibit, especially if you're a psychologist or interested in psychology! It is fantastic who optics fool the brain! Genuine artifacts, friendly staff and amazing art. Historical facts for the layperson.
I went here for the Taylor Swift Storyteller but the museum as a whole doesn’t have much to offer. The museum doesn’t have as much things compared to other museums and I personally didn’t find it interesting. The admission for the museum is $18 for adults and I personally don’t think it’s worth it. I wouldn’t recommend anyone to come here unless you’re really into art.

This museum is located in a beautiful historic mansion on 5th avenue and has a really great variety of items ranging from religious artifacts to modern art! While not Jewish myself I was still able to understand and comprehend the artwork as the Museum has an abundance of explanatory descriptions through the museum. The art collection was great, the building was beautiful, and the entire experience was fantastic! Highly recommend checking out the small gift shop on the main level!

We went on a rainy Saturday when admission is free. It's a lovely small museum, where you can spend a couple of hours enjoying the exhibitions. It's not too crowded either which makes it for a pleasant experience.
Went to see the Taylor Swift: Storyteller exhibit but checked out and enjoyed the three other exhibits on display. Interesting stuff and a good way to spend a couple hours when not walking the streets in Manhattan.

One of the coolest museums I’ve ever been to, plus super fun. They had a lot of interesting items here to say the least. Superfunland at the end of the museum was really the best part though. Very interactive and chances to win free prizes. Definitely worth checking out!
I’ve never really hear much about this museum, but decided to go anyway. I found the exhibits really interesting, especially the paper dress one. I wish I came in time for the jewelry exhibit which I heard was beautiful to see. Like many have already said the museum is small despite having multiple floors. I think I got through it all in around 30-40 min, and I made sure to take my time. I don’t think it’s worth the full price honestly. You’re better off taking advantage of their discount admission day. I think I’d be back though, as they seem to have interesting exhibits coming up and also to check out their rooftop restaurant.

When by mistake you mix the Holocaust musuem with this one, let me tell you do not have any expectations. But the musuem was great, especially the idea to mix the past and the present collections. We really liked the contemporary art there, not so much Sassons culture and history though.
The best shop to buy souvenirs and more in NYC. The owner has been running it for more than 35 years! Survived the pandemic and thriving! Come and check. The nicest person with a very personal touch to customers.

This is one of my favorite places to shop in Manhattan...I visit often. I am a member of the museum so I get a nice discount in the store and I love this place. If you are looking for a unique and different gift for someone, I swear they have something for just about everyone. My house is full of stuff from here. Of course you can order online but if you have a chance to visit the store, it is really worth the trip because the store is packed with such amazing stuff, I feel like a little kid in a great toy shop. Also to mention...the staff in the store are truly amazing. They are very friendly, interested in helping you if you need help, and really go out of their way to make sure any questions that you may have are answered. I think today it is very hard to hire great employees but there are really great employees in this store. Of course it is in a great location so it is a great visit... the museum is fantastic, the restaurants on both sides of the store, Fogo de Chau and The Modern, are amazing as well.
State of the art shopping centre; creative architecture structure. The center has access to NY metro and NJ train stations. The mall has various shops and cafes. There is mobile charing room next to the restrooms of the first floor. Escalators take you from floor to another as well as the elevator.
The owner of this store is probably one of the nicest most humbling human beings I’ve ever met in my life. He was so sweet and kind and just made my day so much brighter with his conversation. His variety is also so great! Got everything I needed in 1 stop!

Museum shop inside the Guggenheim Museum. They sell T-shirts, cups, souvenirs and books etc.
Nice collection in this small museum. Free admission on Saturdays. Unfortunately the Russ & Daughters food court is no longer open.
Best souvenir store in NY!!! Considering that it’s very near a tourist spot - Flatiron Building, the prices are really cheap.

The owner is very nice.💙 He gave us a lot of free NY stickers and keychains!!!😍

Very fun 🤩 and definitely took my boyfriend out his comfort zone 😂 The first part is a normal museum with artefacts and info. Really cool stuff. The second part is a “carnival” type of thing and there are some interactive games and experiences there 👀 😂 That’s all I’ll say. I have a 4 star though because of the price point. I ordered tickets online and I feel that we could’ve gotten away with just the lowest tier and still could’ve done everything.
Definitely recommend going on a thursday when its half price.. not sure its worth the $18 if you compared what you see to the other museums in New York. Its very small only around 4 small floors. Defo book lunch on the rooftop cafe called Roberts as part of the trip as the view is really cool of Columbus circle. The paper dress exhibition at the moment is really interesting!
Stepping into the Museum of Arts and Design in New York City is like entering a world of creative innovation and craftsmanship. Located in the heart of Columbus Circle, this exceptional museum offers an inspiring selection of exhibits that showcase contemporary art, design, and craft across a wide range of mediums and techniques.

As I meandered through the thoughtfully curated galleries, I was struck by the museum's dedication to celebrating the creative process and the talented artists behind the masterpieces. From cutting-edge digital art to traditional handcrafted pieces, the collection is both diverse and visually stunning.

The staff at the museum was attentive and knowledgeable, always willing to provide context and answer questions about the exhibits. Their passion for art and design was evident and truly enhanced my visit.

In addition to the exhibits, the Museum of Arts and Design also hosts various events, workshops, and educational programs that cater to a variety of interests and skill levels. These interactive experiences provide a unique opportunity to immerse yourself in the world of art and design, fostering a deeper appreciation and understanding of the creative process.

Whether you're an art aficionado or simply seeking a memorable cultural experience, the Museum of Arts and Design is an exceptional destination in New York City. Don't miss the chance to explore this extraordinary collection and be inspired by the limitless possibilities of human creativity!

Only reason I’m giving it a 4/5 is because most floors were closed to the public.

Like everyone else this has been high on my list of places to go while in NYC. We finally made the plan to go this time and while we admittedly had a blast, it was a bit of a let down in a way. The Super Funland aspect was obviously the best part and was a ton of fun. But the actual “museum” exhibit aspect definitely lacked. All in all, we’re glad we took the time and spent the money to go but don’t be too disappointed if you can’t fit it into your trip this time around. And if you do go, don’t miss the Photo Booth in the gift shop on your way out.
The Westfield Word Trade Center shopping center is an architecturally beautiful building. The building is really spacious and light looking. There is a lot of space here and you can walk in peace. You can easily get here by metro and you can go directly inside from the station. The shopping center was clean and there are also free rest rooms.

They could do a better job including more tangible pieces and not just art pieces that are not particularly relevant or pertinent to Jewish culture. The third floor is great with all the Judaica, I was sort of hoping the rest of the museum would be on par with the third floor, but it wasn't. If it wasn't for the pieces on the third floor, I would not rate it so highly.

On Monday the store charged me THREE times for the same purchase, and said the two first payments would ‘fall off’ within 24hours. It’s now Thursday and they still have my money….and they don’t answer their phone or respond to the customer service email. I’m on holiday so having to deal with the lack of communication is extremely disappointing. I can only hope someone reads this so I can get the ball rolling!

Terrible service. Shipped 3 items separately to Canada using the same invoice 3 times which resulted in me having to overpay duties by 3 times. Refused to refund me the overpayment. I sent them backup documents multiple times and they ignored them. Do not use for international shipping.

More recently purchased MOMA Albers nesting tables through a Canadian gallery and they were all defective. Crooked and non centered glass tops as well as one leg that was not screwed on correctly. Wow.

All marketing and zero substance.
A must visit at the end of your time at the Guggenheim. There are two stores in the building, one on the ground floor, which you have to go through to exit the building and another on, I think, Level 3.
The store is beautifully laid out and although expensive, I was not leaving without a memento and I found the perfect piece. 4 carved and painted artist characters - Dali, Kahlo, Warhol and Van Gogh.
However, I was tempted with so many other beautifully made items. Cards, notebooks, mobiles, scarves, textiles, jewellery, and much, much more. The selection of modern and contemporary books were particularly enticing.
I'm pleased that they also endeavour to support socially responsible artisans.
For me, it is a must to visit the Guggenheim store and Tele home with you a reminder of this amazing Museum. Thank you to the staff. who were very helpful.

One of the best museums in NYC, housed in the fabulous former Warburg 5th Ave mansion. Always interesting exhibitions including "New York: 1962-1964", highlighting the role of the Jewish Museum and its director Dr. Alan Solomon in spearheading modern art. Conceived and curated by the late Germano Celant and beautifully designed by architect Annabelle Selldorf. The exhibition provided important context to the works of art and highlighted women artists and artists of color which did not get their due back in the 60s. In terms of exhibition design, the show was purposefully different from the canonical "white cube" format that was used for the original exhibitions organized by Alan Solomon back in the 60s. I also enjoyed the current show on the Sassoons including stellar paintings and drawings by their family friend John Singer Sargent (1856-1925).

Gift shop on Canal Street filled with typical tourist souvenirs and wacky items. Wide selection of a variety of small gift-y items and tchotchkes.
I can't get enough of this building .. it is a masterpiece.. just like other masterpieces of Frank Lloyd Wright ❤️
Was so amazing to see the architecture is futuristic, clean and it’s open concept.

I understand why it’s oculus it’s in the shape of an eye 👁 a little, it’s interesting choice of design if you ask me,

There’s shops and then a train station at the very bottom, It’s definitely a place to check out when visiting New York!

It's a nice small gift shop filled with unique gifts for you or to give to a fellow art lover. We wanted to buy so many things, but the high prices did stop us from buying everything. To be fair, prices are what most Museum gift shops would charge.
You must stop in and buy something to remember your visit.

I was here specifically to pick up an Andy Warhol print I'd seen while visiting MoMA earlier in the week. It wasn't in the Musuem Store but an employee offered to up to the MoMA gift shop, where it was in stock, and brought it down for me! It was a gift for my boyfriend who wasn't able to join me on my work trip to NYC and we both really appreciate how he went above & beyond for an inexpensive print. He didn't even act like it was any trouble, great customer service.

They have an amazing selection of art themed gifts, I got my mom & sister each a magnet and myself a very reasonably priced "once you experience art, you are never the same" tote bag. Will definitely return next time I'm in NYC.

I live in Miami Florida and together with my wife we planned our trip to New York almost a year in advance, one of my focal points was visiting the Guggenheim museum, and getting to know all the exhibition halls, their structure and all their spaces, the day Friday, April 9, we went to the museum and to be honest I was very satisfied with the experience of the visit, and the truth is that each and every one of the people with whom I had the opportunity to interact was very kind, with the exception of the person who works in the museum store specifically at the cash register, once we left the museum we wanted to buy something to remember our visit, at some point during my tour of the store, I was verbally assaulted by this person whose name I do not know, and I was taken from the store shouting because my mask fell off my nose, I did not allow time or even to explain what was happening, I did not want to start an argument, which is why, I Left from the store in silence, but quite annoyed by the rude and aggressive attitude of this person, which contrasts with all the kindness that exists inside the museum. I fully understand the sanitary regulations and the care that we must take in these days of a pandemic, however I also understand and am aware that there are ways of saying things, and showing kindness does not cost anything, especially with people who pay a ticket to enter to the museum and in our particular case we flew more than three hours to finally get to know it.

This bitter experience does not detract from my pleasant visit to the museum at all, but at this particular point, I believe that this person should receive some kind of preparation to be able to serve the visitors, who in short contribute in some way to the payment of their salary. .

A big greeting

Federico
Interesting place , love it 😍 we went to see Andrea Bocelli and the place is very organized and clean, staff are friendly, we have a great time, we drink 🍹 some wine and champagne 🥂, we enjoy the best show before the pandemic 😷. Can’t wait to go back and see another great artist. After the show we buy this cd and we meet Andrea Bocelli in person, it was one of my dream day .

There are so many fascinating and beautiful things on sale. I really enjoyed looking through everything and further understanding the culture of the ballet and opera. I have been in there several times, and most of the sales ladies and gentlemen are very helpful and kind. Unfortunately, my memory is forever tainted by one saleswoman who was a bit insulting. I asked if I could purchase a scarf and the lady responded, "You know these aren't on sale right?" Then dismissed me. I replied, "Yes, ma'am. I know." Then as I was checking out she said, "Oh so this must be a gift for someone right?" Still not believing I could purchase the accessory and I said, "No ma'am. It's for me." Then I wore the scarf out. It was a Pretty Woman moment for me.

I ordered a CD set from the Met Opera Shop. It was a very reasonable price for a vintage 3-cd opera. However, the first disc did not play, even though the other 2 discs were perfect. When I emailed to tell them the problem, they immediately sent me a complete new set, free of charge, without even asking for the original discs to be returned. This shows the dedication and excellent service of an organization that treats their customers the way we all want to be treated. I am very impressed with the Met Opera Shop and intend to continue to order from them in person as well as online.

The Met Opera Shop is a great gift shop. They carry great quality products, including jewlery from different operas. They even have costumes from different operas on display. In addition, they have a great variety of DVDs and recordings, including great opera singers such as Luciano Pavarotti and Renee Fleming. In conclusion, I think that if you happen to be in the opera house, you definitely should pay a visit to The Met Opera House!
