It’s such a great big Starbucks! Love it! Coffee and lattes were hot and made to order :)

Authentic French cuisine served in a cozy homey restaurant. Service was excellent and food was great! Was too full at the end and didn’t get dessert.

This place used to have such a nice atmosphere, but it seems to have declined over the years. During our recent visit, it was disappointingly dusty, and the shelves were oddly empty, which gave the space a neglected feel. It felt like cleaning and upkeep are no longer priorities. Not sure what happened with management, but it’s a noticeable change.

On a positive note, the food and drinks are still excellent, and the customer service remains great.

Had a networking dinner here and we couldn’t stop raving about the food! It was truly splendid, so tasty and the server provided us with great recommendations! Make sure to make a reservation as even on a weekday, it was almost packed!

This store ask the customer to pay for their fault.

I am not against the store to hire someone to reduce the expense, but I hope they can train them properly. The person served me did not really speak Canadian English. He called my jacket as sweater, heard ‘using 400 stars’ as ‘using discount’, and did not know how to refund. Then they end up giving me store credits. I asked if I can use it at any other stores and online, they said yes. Then, of course, it is not working. Then a manager named Hannah said they didn’t explained properly. They can only refund as store credits, if I lost the physical card, I lost my money.

I ended up losing 400 stars, wasted 20+ minutes, and missing $10+ money. Try to stay away from this store, or just hoping there won’t be any issues, coz they won’t solve any.

I should just stay with my regular store. This experience totally ruined my weekend.

Myself and a few friends had breakfast here today. We arrived and were seated next to an obnoxiously rude family. (They were upset that we were seated next to them as the 2 tables were kind of close together and kept making rude comments). It would have ruined our breakfast but our server Anna was AMAZING!!! Would give her 10 stars if I could. She was attentive, proactive and apologized for the table next to us. The service was quick and the food was good. When we mentioned we were going out for a quick smoke before eating (iykyk) she even told us we could take our coffee out and joked as long as we didn’t run away with the mug lol. She was so great - 10/10 and would definitely come back again to this Eggsmart!

Service: 5. Food:4. Atmosphere:4. I would like to rate 5 star and the food was good. But not great to 5 star sorry.
Good atmosphere and sweet spot. Staff was very friendly and food came in 2/3 courses. Mushroom soup was creamy and rich. Zucchini and potato soup was special of the day, light and fresh. Duck breast was okay. Lamb shank was good.

Have been to several breakfast places but by far this hit the spot. The coffee was fresh and well brewed. The food was delicious, with so much flavour (kudos to the chefs) and the service was amazing. Thank you Anna for being such an awesome hostess and for ensuring we had a lovely breakfast and left in time to begin our morning grocery run at Costco.

I grew up in Montreal and great French food was so easily available. It’s much more difficult to find In Toronto: this was hands down the best I’ve had. It was homey, comforting, and delicious. Service was good, and it’s a cozy spot. Will return many times!

First time going here and I will definitely come back. AMAZING server named Kriss at this location (so friendly and quick with service). Made us feel right at home. She even knew how we would handle our meal and gave us exactly what we needed. Location is clean and bright. Food was top notch and hot. If you're looking for good food, great service and an enjoyable atmosphere here's where you can go.

I am not a PSL girl for the fall but I did try the Apple crisp oat latte (sub with 2% milk) and it was pretty good! However I do prefer the pecan crunch oat latte (sub with 2% milk 3 pumps of the syrup instead of 4 and extra pecan crunch on top). Nice little treat on a cold day ☺️

The food and service were great. The atmosphere was bright with the large front window in the morning. There looked like there was minor water damage on some of the walls which is something I would suggest be repaired. Bacon cooked to perfection and eggs were made to order. I would highly recommended anyone looking for a breakfast place in the area to try this particular egg smart. Better than the others imo.

I took one star off due to the facts that they had signs offering $5 off if you download their app. I did all this and when paying the bill I was told the scanner was broken today. They should don’t have the sign out if they cannot honour it.

Also the water damage.

Great value compared to some other places you can get lattes from!

Tried the matcha latte which was pretty good! Note that the default milk is almond milk – I usually order matcha lattes with oat milk, so almond was a nice change (though I still prefer oat).

Great Starbucks location with extremely friendly staff. Although this is a big location, it gets busy often and seats will be occupied. They have different seating arrangement from regular table, high table, low seats with a small table booths, and counter table. You can be comfy regardless if you're here to chill, work or catchup with friends.
Overall a great location to visit.

It's located on the first floor of First Canadian Place. It's a charming little spot, but the loaves didn't quite meet our expectations. Coffee was okay. We spotted a mouse scurrying around and sneaking into the kitchen. 😖

I went to maman for a bite to eat and absolutely fell in love. The vibe is so cute and aesthetically pleasing, and the space is also very clean. The staff were all friendly, and the girl who served me was super kind. My almond croissant was delicious, and I definitely plan on returning to try their seasonal beverages (which sound incredible btw - pecan pie latte, yes please!) I love the idea of family style seating, and the designs they use on their cups and bags are beautiful. I’ve already recommend maman to a few friends and I hope to visit again very soon!

Unfortunately, they don't accept cash. I don't know how they can refuse to accept cash. The cashier who informed me was nice and friendly but I was shocked that I couldn't get a latte because I didn't have a credit card or debit card with me. 'cash not accepted' How is this allowed?!

Since I wasn't able to purchase anything, it led me Three Doors Down to a Cafe that accepted cash and where I enjoyed their lovely latte.

The service here is amazing. All the baristas are super friendly. While I lived in Toronto I would get an iced chai latte many mornings for my walk to my internship nearby. Their kindness here always started my day positively. Especially Ann! Who got to know my name, and was super lovely. Thanks Ann!

We recently dined at this charming French restaurant and were instantly taken by the warm, cozy ambiance inside. It was the perfect setting for a relaxed evening, with dim lighting and elegant touches that made it feel both intimate and welcoming.

We opted for the two-part menu, which turned out to be an excellent choice. The calamari appetizer was the highlight of the first course—perfectly tender, and paired with a truly delicious sauce. It was a great start to what became a truly memorable meal.

For the main course, we went with the duck confit and steak frites, and it was simply unforgettable. The confit was the favourite - skin was golden and crispy, while the meat was rich, tender, and full of flavor. Every bite was decadent, balanced with the right amount of seasoning, and made even better with its sides, which perfectly complemented the dish. It was the kind of meal that stays with you long after you’ve left the table.

The prices were surprisingly reasonable, especially considering the quality of the food and the care that went into every dish. We were more than satisfied with both the experience and the value. We’ll definitely be coming back for another round of that duck confit!

Guess what I got here. I got RIPPED OFF! 10$ for a small cold brew and an oat cookie! Wtf! I guess I just paid for their next As Seen On TV appearance. The coffee too was.... Bleugh. It had a Spice aftertaste and not in the good way.
Should have just got a tiny drip coffee and ran away from this literal hole in the wall before they charge for sniffing the aroma.

Starbucks never disappoints! Whether I’m grabbing my usual coffee or trying something new, the drinks are always spot on. The staff is friendly and quick, even when it’s busy. The vibe is cozy and perfect for chilling, working, or catching up with friends. Love their seasonal specials and how they always get my order just right. A solid go-to for great coffee and a relaxing atmosphere.
It's been a minute since I went here, but the food and coffee are great! Amazing owner Mandy is so nice and always so delightful! She is such a sweet lady and needs more recognition in the area! She's got all sorts of patties as well as amazing sandwiches and fresh homemade juices!. All very affordable, and the only place in the neighborhood on St Clair with callaloo patties. Thank you again for the wonderful service!

So I went to the location and I ask the Barista called Brad, Brandon or something like that. What does he recommend for a low calories drink since as a barista I’m pretty sure he should have some idea of what he’s serving. And his answer was “Water” lol. Like what kind of answer and behaviour is that? I’ve been a Starbucks costumer for so long. And I know people who works for Starbucks and I know by fact that how they should treat their customers is not like that. Does this location really call this a good costumer service? I don’t think so.

Very good French food and not over priced at all. We had swordfish special and duck leg, both flavored really well. Duck leg was crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside and red wine sauce was super tasty. Swordfish was tiny bit salty to my liking. Dessert chocolate mousse was very light and delicious! Only that AC was not strong enough on a hot day. But overall highly recommend!
guys, the breakfast sandwich is something from heaven. It’s the best breakfast sandwich I’ve ever tried in my life. It’s unfortunate that they only serve it on Saturday’s.

Loved this cute, cozy cafe and bakery. This is located in the First Canadian Place on the 2nd floor. The dining area has 2 communal tables available for seating. The atmosphere is so cute and I love feeling like I am in Paris! The decor and ambience is
so lovely. There is a nice patio area for customers. Service was really friendly. The latte was good, the avocado toast (not pictured here) was amazing and the breakfast sandwich on the ham and cheddar scone was really tasty. I ordered a lime and cilantro sugar cookie to go and it was perfection. I absolutely loved this spot and cannot wait to come back.

🌴 Ambience: What a lovely cafe! You can forget that you're in the PATH and it almost feels like you're in the French Countryside. There are two long wooden tables you can sit at, which can probably seat a maximum of ~20 people. There's beautiful decorations and it's quite aesthetically pleasing.

🍲 Food: I only got a drink, the summer Mango Matcha drink. It took some time to arrive but it was delicious!

🫑 Vegetarian Value: I only took a peek at the menu, there was a grilled cheese and some pastries that seemed vegetarian, but I'm not sure.

💸 Price: the drink was pricy, with tax and tip about $8 for a small, but it was a summer special. I'd say if you want a change in setting and would like to relax with a nice drink, this place is worth it!

It's a wonderful spot to quickly grab your favorite coffee along with a delightful pastry or loaf. Situated in a strategic location, it’s particularly convenient for corporate professionals looking for a quick caffeine fix. Although the indoor seating capacity is limited, there are plenty of options to sit outside in the adjacent food court or on the charming patio, providing a relaxed atmosphere for a brief respite from work.

The café offers an impressive variety of coffee, catering to all tastes and preferences. Whether you prefer a classic espresso or a more elaborate specialty drink, you’re sure to find something to your liking. The price points are reasonable and on par with other well-known global brands, ensuring that you get good value for your money.

One standout menu item is the lavender blueberry loaf, which is simply to die for. Its unique flavor is perfectly complemented by a lavender hot chocolate, making for a delightful and indulgent treat.

Additionally, the service is excellent, with friendly and efficient staff who ensure that your visit is pleasant and hassle-free. Whether you’re stopping by for a quick takeaway or taking a moment to enjoy your coffee on the patio, the combination of delicious offerings, convenient location, and great service makes this café a fantastic choice.

Visited this place during a lovely street festival, and I have to say, this little restaurant is a gem! The atmosphere was vibrant and lively, which added to the charm. The service was wonderful – everyone was so friendly and attentive. A+ to the ratatouille. It was delicious and bursting with flavor. One small suggestion would be to balance the taste of the steak with a bit more sauce, but overall, it was still very tasty. If you're looking for a cozy spot with great food and excellent service, try this place.

Having parked at the Blue P north of here last week, I walked out of the lot heading south immediately seeing a billboard proclaiming "Best Coffee Ever", which also claims CNN, CP24 and many other such TV sources. As a coffee lover, having travelled all over the world, I've had some really fine coffee, so I was definitely up to trying this.

On recommendation after having asked about the choices, I ordered up an Americano, which is made from their "HotBlack Blend" and the rest is history as they say. The coffee lived up to the claim. Its a really good cup. Equal to the varieties I bring in from the USA and Italy. So much so, when heading back, I bought a bag of the HotBlack Blend beans, to have it at home, as this is not an area I tend to frequent, as in years can go by infrequent.

The beans made the same exact wonderful coffee. (I've bought two more bags today). And being back in the area today, grabbed another cup...and still as perfect as the first one.

The service is exceptional, the barista answers questions with a smile, and made the wonderful coffee I had on both visits.

Don't be tempted to go to Tim Hortons' or Second Cup nearby. This beats them both. And same price or less.

Up until this, I bought coffee from Italy and the USA (having it shipped in). Yes, expensive, but now I have a local favorite.

Oh, and on occasion, I tend to make a latte with some Cinnamon at home. Cinnamon loves this blend and enhances the overall flavor, which I was pleasantly surprised by, as the cinnamon isn't really a good mix with many other coffees I buy. So yet another bonus.

HIGHLY RECCOMMENDED!!
Surprisingly very good.

It's crispy yet a thin quick bite on the outside. Feels great to bite it. A nice distribution of spinach & cheese on the inside which is really good.

Extremely rude staff specially Victor. I visited this store and placed a mobile order. When I approached the person making the drinks, named Victor, I asked him for the pin to access the restroom. He rudely refused, despite the city of Toronto by-law requiring at least one restroom to be available for public use at all times. He even claimed they didn't have one, although I could clearly see it. Victor's behavior was extremely rude. Additionally, the hot chocolate I ordered lacked sufficient chocolate (mocha) and tasted more like hot milk. I requested non-fat milk, but it seemed like regular milk was used instead. Victor should focus on attention to detail when making drinks rather than being rude to customers. Refusing restroom access is also against the by-law.

This is an honest review I used to come here quite a lot but there is a lot of new employees who unfortunately do not know the difference between a latte, cappuccino or americano. If I order a cappuccino I somehow end up with a piping hot americano. I really like this place for the neighbourhood - and I still come to support it but I’m finding myself lately making my own at home because it’s just sadly not worth the experience. Some of the young ladies are also not friendly or say hi or good morning. I used to come to this place and there used to be a lineup in the morning now not so much anymore.

Had a latté. Not only is this place take-out only, it’s a walk-up so you can’t go inside. No pastries were available to test out. The coffee was good but the service was lacking. A ‘hello’ or ‘good morning’ would’ve been nice.

It’s was interesting… kind of like a drive through … but a walk through (if that makes sense). I approached the cafe and instead of a door to go inside, I was startled by a window which just slide open and an employee’s head popping out asking me what I’d like.

I wouldn’t go here again. Maybe if you literally want to walk by and grab a coffee .. sure. But not me. I like an atmosphere, options, and to see my drinks/food being prepared. This is not the case here.

I asked how I would know what they offer as I didn’t see a menu. She said what was in the window. There were two items. A plain croissant and a blueberry scone displayed right against a store window.

Probably just this location.

This beautiful French cafe is a hidden gem in First Canadian Place on the upper level. Counter service only. Seating is available at long communal tables or outside the cafe in the food court. I adore the rustic decor and the cozy atmosphere. I would go more often but the cafe has limited hours (it is closed evenings and on weekends).

The sandwiches were delicious and flavourful! I loved the truffle croque maman and the grilled cheese sandwich. I also loved the almond croissant (filled with frangipane), the smore's cookie, the lavender hot chocolate, and the nutty chocolate chip cookie. The blueberry lavender loaf cake and the farro salad were good.

I was looking for vegan treats after eating vegan Indian meal in the neighbourhood, and noticed that this cute little coffee shop had some. I appreciate that the treats were displayed in the window, where they take your order and give you the food. This is a take-out only coffee shop. So, the vegan treats available at that time were:
1. Strawberry oat bar
2. Beet chocolate loaf
3. Banana bread (vegan & gluten free)
4. Date square
I purchased one of each and they were nice. My favourite was the strawberry oat bar. It was chewy, sweet with a bit of tang and ginger flavour. Second favourite was the Beet chocolate bar, it was like a brownie, dense but soft and chocolatey. The banana bread was a a bit dry, due to it being gluten free, and it tasted very mild. It was okay. The date bar was underwhelming. It was not as sweet as I was expecting; it tasted rather flat. The crumbs on the date square were on the saltier side. Overall, I am grateful they have vegan treats options 😊

I have lived in England for a couple of years, and since my move i have never had such a amazing coffee. For someone who is a coffeeholic, you should definitely try coffee at Mandy’s. Its going to make your morning wonderful, the perfect hug in a mug. The flavour, the aroma and the balance of everything, its all perfect. Thank you for the amazing coffee Mandy, you definitely put in a lott of love while preparing it. ❤️
Worth Trying.

A cosy neighborhood cafe with Turkish coffee and Mediterranean trimmings.

Spinach Cheese Borek - pretty decent value for $6.70, large scroll. Taste is par.

Turkish Coffee - first time trying it. Let the grit fall to the bottom first. Tastes like brewed drip/Moka pot coffee.

Lots of seating, nice ambiance.
Takes AMEX.

We enjoyed stopping by this coffee shop while we were biking around Toronto. We got stuck in the rain, so we had to stand under the overhang, but it was still worth it. Great service—the barista let us try some tasty cold brew!
This is a really cute outdoor cafe that's located in a garden centre. They have a wide variety of menu items and their pastries are really good. It's a nice place to sit down and just take in the pretty plants!
I had the spinach and cheese borek with coffee. Both were excellent. They warmed the borek so it was even more delicious, as if it was baked fresh from the oven. It was one of the better boreks I’ve had. Prices were quite reasonable too, I would definitely recommend this place.

The interiors were done well, interesting l, comfortable and welcoming. There is a second floor for overflow of customers.

The panini was still cold from inside and I believe because they were busy, they got my order wrong. Instead of one drink, they made two and charged me for two. They were nice enough to refund me the money for the extra drink but did so with a very judgmental and unfriendly expression. The place could have been more cleaner

Was walking by and noticed there was a coffee shop inside of a garden shop? I ordered the White Choco Chai and am in loooove. Perfect portion of white chocolate and chai combined together. Lovely service, relaxing atmosphere with the green scenery in the background as you enjoy your drink/snack.

Great find! Love the concept
I had heard about the pizza so today I tried the margarita...Ah-mazing! Crispy crust and just the right amount of super fresh sauce...and what tops it off is the consistently nice and friendly service we get each and everytime. Breakfast sandwiches btw are next level...legit amount of bacon
My husband and I really enjoy this cozy coffee shop. I usually get the Tokyo fog and it’s satisfying and well priced. They have a nice selection of gelato that we want to try when the weather is a bit warmer. The staff have always been lovely when we visit.

Probably one of the best Roman style pizzas in the city. Very good you could taste the authentic fresh ingredients with the burrata.
I love bright, cute little cafes like this because I like sweets and it's a good place to study, work, etc. I got the large matcha latte and egg tart (which was heated) though I wish it was made fresh 😅 Other than that, I would come back here!
P.S. their wooden benches are quite uncomfortable to sit for a long time and aren't proportionate with the table, the table is too low.

I live near the area, and had been looking for a local business to support. I tried their sugar cane juice on a separate occasion, and it was extremely refreshing. I had the chance to try an iced coffee today, and it was smooth and creamy. The coffee was just strong enough for my liking. The folks working there were friendly and informative. Would visit again!

Small Starbucks offering your usual selection. Good location. Friendly and welcoming staff. Now the pumpkin specials are back, the pumpkin cream cold brew was scrumptious.

My favourite upscale Starbucks by far. I love the Reserve drinks and the exclusive Reserve merchandises. One of the Reserve items I got had a problem, and I was bummed out about it for a week. However, when I brought it back, the manager and his staff addressed the issue for me, which made my day!

They have a solid team, and everyone there is friendly and professional. Thank you, Starbucks Team @ Don Mills! =)
Delicious food and beverage what a great way to start off a Sunday morning. Located near by its nice to experience a non commercialized café. It's quaint and offers a nice sitting area to enjoy your treats. The gelato and Turkish coffee and croissants really gives it a European vibe.
This Cafe opened in 2018. It has a long narrow sit in area and a seasonal patio on the busy street.
The Turkish Coffee is brewed in a "finjan" placed (and ratated) in a bed of hot sand (see photos) which prevent it from reaching boiling temperature thus preventing the coffee ground from burning.
The large double portion is probably about 10 Oz (less than Starbuck's tall cup) and cost $5.70. The only thing missing for me was the lack of cardamon (spice) which enhances the flavour and aroma of Turkish Coffee and is in very wide use throughout the Middle East.
I requested a side of small oat-milk for the coffee and received it with no extra charge which was a nice touch.
The two pastries that I bought were a (small) Portuguese Tart @ $3.15 and a small piece of Baklava @ $3.20. Both were fresh but small for their price.
Their version of Frappuccino cost $6.20 and was just OK.
All items that I purchased seemed to have had premium prices compared to GTA.
The order was delivered to their patio by the batista. The order came with 2 complimentary slivers of Turkish Delight.
Washroom is at the basement level; down a steep, narrow staircase.

Really impressed with this spot! They serve great coffee. I also tried their sugarcane juice, along with their freshly squeezed orange, pineapple and mango juice. Perfect. So healthy & refreshing! I’ll be back soon to try their other menu items including jerk patties, pastries, power-shots, ice cream (in the summer) etc. The place is clean (spotless actually) and aesthetically pleasing. Super friendly owners/operators. Drop by Mandy’s cafe and check them out. You will be glad you did!
An amazing turkish coffee place, worth a visit and a must try spot at mt pleasant!! Every corner of the cafe is well thought of and decorated. Great decor, clean space and very very cozy seating!! They also have some coffee related items on sale as well including mugs! Tried their vanilla latte with almond ricotta cake and it was totally worth it! Fairly decent prices and lots of options to choose from for desserts.
The scones are next level! Coffee is great, other baked goods are also delicious, but if you don't get their scones... big mistake. 10/10. P.S. They also sell Bar Ape gelato bars - super tasty!

Momi and her team are amazing, always can count on a yummy cup of coffee and sourdough bread!

Stopped by for takeout brunch on the weekend by Gerry and Mandy, also delicious. Able to keep it fancy with the brunch to go meals during these covid times

Really nice location. Love the architectural designs especially the use of wood and metal. Very big so usually don’t have a problem finding a seat. Given it’s location and the fact that it’s a reserve it’s always very busy so lines and wait times are long. I recommend doing the mobile order and even still sometimes I have to wait. Good selection of drinks and friendly staff.
Terrific. My daughter loves it there in the teen programs. Greatly improved her confidence and flexibility. We've also held parties here for a club and birthday, always an excellent time. Love all the end of seasons shows that allow the kids to showcase their hard work.

Unbelievably rude and child unfriendly staff.
I attended 2 separate preschool parties at their Gerard location and during both - attending parents were looking at each other and saying:"Are these people for real? These are 3 year olds".

I will NOT recommend this place to anyone or ever be go back there again.
