Cleanliness is amazing, the gym is great, overall I great place!! The overall feel is adequate or better than expected in a 4 star hotel. When I arrived there were no towels and only 1 coffee pod. I called front desk and in minutes I got towels and coffee. Also perplexed by the lack of top sheet. I would stay again but the attention to detail in room cleaning is lacking a bit.

I stayed here for New Year’s Eve 2023. I have a few complaints, the room was very cold overnight & the phone didn’t work. I had to go outside near the elevator to use the public phone for room service. From 10p to 10am, The thermometer did not work & cold air came out. Suddenly, at 10am on New Year’s Day it started to push heat out. The bluestone cafe downstairs had mouse droppings on the counter so we refused to sit & eat there. The parking lot is extremely small & even though they said it’s self parking, the attendant still have to park your car & take the key. Otherwise, the room was good, hotel was beautiful, room service is great.

Receptionist & hotel parking personnel need training in hospitality. Failing to tell guest about IHG social hour. I found out from another guest. She mumbled when she speaks, I only heard 50% of what she said. Guests are here to unwind not to have to repeatedly ask "Pardoned me, what did you say". As for the hotel parking personnel, I asked her what is the 22% taxes entail, she just said "I don't know". I would've thought she would at least direct me to someone who can answer that. If I am paying a 22% taxes on parking, I would like to know what I am paying for. Also, if you are going to charge a 22% taxes, that should be listed in your price. 22% is rather unusual and high for taxes!! Other countries actually have school for hotel hospitality or at least have some sort of training. On top of that, the room have a damped smell to it. I didn't pointed that out because it was bearable.

We highly recommend this hotel for visitors to Philadelphia! The location and room are great especially if you are here for historical sites. Sam from the front desk is exceptional. He took care of the guests of this hotel really well. We visit many IHG properties every year, it’s not very often we see exceptional hospitality like that. Kudos to Sam and the breakfast restaurant staff.

We had a Wedding in Philly and the whole family stayed at the hotel.
First of all the staff are very friendly and welcoming. And the lobby is quite nice. I was very disappointed by receiving both our rooms. We arrived at the hotel a little after 1 pm upon check in there weren’t rooms available for us to use, also we had the 4 pm check in in mind; we waited a half and hour and our first room was ready. ( we went to check availability due to family arriving and was helped with a room upon check in) we had to wait for our 2nd room quite a long time only around 4 pm we were able to get checked in. My complaint is the fact that a lot of family members received their room upon check in and me and my husband that was there before them had to wait till 4 pm to be able to get ready. Having it in mind we have a wedding to get ready for and the bride and groom organized for the family to stay at the hotel.
For one night stay it was $325and I would say that the quality of the rooms are definitely not $325 a night standard. The shower had a very small stream and the shower curtain had mold on it. The dressers in the rooms are peeling off and look like they are very outdated ( with in mind that my husband and I stayed in a suite).

We stayed for 2 nights. The location is great. The room was terrible. Furniture is full of scratches. The tub had rust stains. The makeup mirror was broken. The tile in the bathroom looks dirty. Housekeeping knocked on our door at 9am. We left for the day at 9:30 and returned at 4. They never came back to clean our room. The destination fee is just plain robbery. I don't want junk food.

Great location, however be wary of booking through 3rd party applications. Booked 3 rooms two weeks in advance, none of the rooms were reserved upon our arrival. Had to wait 6+ hours for our rooms to be provided. When our rooms were finally ready, one of the three rooms was provided to another guest and one of our guests had to purchase a room at a separate hotel. Overall, a sincerely awful experience and would recommend booking elsewhere if possible

Didn't like this hotel. Overpriced for location and the room/amenities. Parking is available at $50/night. Hallways look great but rooms could be better. They're far from main attractions and would recommend that you use indego bikes to move around.

What a great hotel, in the best location! The staff are spectacular and I mean it! Not a single person rude or even unpleasant in any way. In fact, what I especially took note of, is that the staff even said "please" and "thank you" to each other, which is a sign of respect for each other professionally! The valet attendants were also very pleasant! The room was clean and perfectly decorated for the historic district location. The historic sites are visible from many of the rooms and obviously walkable. The room was surprisingly quiet, considering the location and the bed is very comfortable. If anyone from Kimpton reads this, the only recommendation for the room is the shower needed a longer curtain to block splatter that made the floor treacherously slippery. That's an easy fix. We would come back here in a second! Highly recommend!

I would give this hotel one star because they overcharged me $395.90 and $10.80. I booked through Amex travel, a third-party service, and paid $439.88. I don't understand why they charged me again. When I called them twice, they were unable to explain the situation and informed me that I would have to wait 3-5 days to receive a refund. If I don't receive the refund, I plan to dispute the charges with my bank. Their lack of professionalism is disappointing.
“The hotel has a good location, but the room was quite old. We booked through Amex Travel and were supposed to receive a $100 credit. However, the credit was not applied to the bottle water bill, and I had to call to have it fixed. I also expected a room upgrade, but I wasn't sure if I received one because the room was very very small(I wouldn’t call that as a four star hotel at all). Additionally, the restaurant at the hotel is overpriced and the food is not tasty. When I ordered a burger, the meat was burned and had a bitter taste. I have stayed at some 2 or 3-star hotels that were much nicer than this one. This hotel should be classed as a 2 or 3 star hotel. It was a bad and small room almost like a motel room, very normal service, and is overpriced.”

I went during Covid and because I just didn’t want to be cooped up in my home in Seattle. My stay back east was really pleasant here. The staff were friendly and had gone above and beyond to make sure things were ready for me. I sadly only took a snap which I will can not proved however the room was gorgeous and has my attention for any Philly trips in the future . This experience has me thinking it is time for another trip.

Terrible rooms and terrible service! We had a large group blocked for a week (hundreds of us). Many of us were without heaters the first night. I called the engineer, he said the entire unit needed to be replaced and the day shift would take care of it. So I slept in my jacket with a beanie all night, showering in the morning was like stepping out of an alpine lake. The next day after work, I received a new room key and went up to move my stuff. They had fixed the heater, so I told the front desk that I no longer needed to switch rooms. They told me I couldn't switch and that they already had someone in my room, which was an obvious lie.
Someone said there was a rat in their room, and a few said the water heater didn't work. Tubs are falling through the ceiling with water damage. We were told no outside food in the lobby, conference rooms, etc, and they blamed it on "the union." They never informed us beforehand.
Many had switched hotels after the first night. The front desk team was incompetent, even with the most basic requests. Fire alarm went off at midnight and the evacuation was chaos, there was no communication from the staff to the guests at all - after one night in the cold room, and other out on the street, I'm suffering from a cold.
Some folks were repeatedly denied daily housekeeping, while others specifically rejected the service and it was still performed. One of our group members eventually started bringing his room trash to the front desk to make a point. My housekeeper came every day, she was kind and organized but it doesn't make up for the terrible experience.
Checking out was a nightmare. They won't email your invoice unless you ask for it. Only a manager is able to print out an itemized invoice. They wouldn't remove the taxes from the bill because I used "a different rate," yet I was booked under the same reservation block as everyone else.
All four star hotels these days are garbage, but this was a new low. Those that switched to the Kimpton and Hyatt nearby were much happier and had no complaints.

Really blown away from the kind and friendly service. Loved the layout of the hotel and the room - such beautiful decor and the location is unreal. Right across from Independence Hall and the Liberty Bell, it’s easy walking distance to lots of great spots in downtown. The valets were so friendly and kind even though we weren’t driving! They greeted us kindly every time we entered, held the door for us, and even offered to get our Uber car doors for us. I will absolutely stay here again in the future if I return to Philly! Photo is the view from our room

We spent 4 nights at the Kimpton Monaco in Philadelphia along with a large block of family and friends who traveled to attend my son's wedding to my new daughter-in-law. Most family members met at the Red Owl Tavern for breakfast. It was an exceptional experience! Special mention goes to Abby, Brie, Mathew and Samir! Lunch and happy hour were wonderful as well!
The front desk staff at the Kimpton Monaco was consistently helpful, friendly and professional. No one blinked an eye when I made requests. Kudos to Jada, as she was my "go to" person most of the time and she took very good care of my needs. EVERYONE was exceptional!
When I needed assistance with lack of hot water the first night, Tim from engineering was at my door quickly and he explained what needed to be done. He took care of it and the rest of our stay we got hot water when we needed it!
I emphatically recommend this iconic luxurious hotel in the heart of old town Philly!

The building itself is impressive with a beautiful panoramic view of Independence Hall across the way. The life-size statues of all the Founding Fathers/delegates is enough of a reason to visit. The staff are all friendly and helpful. 👍

Fascinating, educational, well-thought-out, and compact museum. Perfect for nerds and anyone who wants to learn more about science. So many cool objects and examples!

Love this Park!! From the views to all of the fun activities to do there, to having a cafe with a bathroom, it's absolutely one of the best places to bring young kids.

The only positive of this hotel is its location. However, the negatives of this hotel far outweigh that.
-Parking: no one expects parking to be cheap or even convenient in a major U.S. city; however, the parking garage for this hotel is located down a side alley. After circling the block following check in, we had to wait 20 minutes for the line of traffic also waiting to get into the garage. When we entered, the person who gave us our ticket was rude, almost as if we were bothering him.
-Check in: this was smooth; however, we were notified that the hotel recently instituted a destination fee of $17 per night, “within the last week.” If the hotel changed their fees prior to check in, this should have been communicated before we got here.
-Hotel upkeep: it is clear that this hotel hasn’t been refreshed in years. The furniture is tired, dated, and dirty.
-Room: our bed had one sheet and a comforter. Mind you, not even a top sheet. When we called the front desk, we had a stack of flat sheets delivered to our room after 10 PM. We were told to make the bed ourselves. The front desk was unhelpful and didn’t seem concerned that the bedding wasn’t adequate, nor clean. Also, it is clear that housekeeping does the almost bare minimum when cleaning between guests. The room was dusty, the bathtub dirty, and the sheets had hairs on them. Additionally, there was garbage from the previous guest still in the trash. The ac/heater didn’t turn on once. No matter what, it reverted to 72 degrees and to the automatic setting. These are not things that should happen in any hotel, let alone one that is supposedly a 4 star hotel.
Overall: for its “4 star” billing and price, this hotel was on par with a Super 8. For the cost, they should be ashamed.

Vinny (owner) is very rude unprofessional and aggressive. Thug like behavior, such a disgrace to the hospitality industry! Never come here.
He refused to show camera footage to exonerate the baseless charges levied against a patron. Instead of listening to investigate what happened he put his head in his hands. I’ve filed a police report. Someone needs to investigate him and his past business practices!

Nice museum. It was smaller than I expected and it does not have many big and unique things to show off. But it explains the history of science very well and in an interesting way even for a 40-something year old person.

My husband and I recently tied the knot at the Arts Ballroom and two weeks later we're still getting daily texts/remarks from my friends and family about how fantastic the food and venue were. The dessert room was a tremendous hit with both the kids and adults, everyone has a different food-based memory as the Arts truly goes over the top when it comes to food. We had a number of folks with dietary restrictions and everyone felt the venue handled their needs well and delivered high quality food.
We worked mainly with Taylor (after the original event specialist we were working with left the team between us signing the contract and us preparing for the wedding quite some time later) and she went out of her way to understand what was important to us, communicate what she needed from us, and coordinate with us when we wanted to ship a number of things to the venue as we live in NY (we shipped things and everything worked out great!). On the day-of she was always nearby and willing to help me get the wedding of my dreams, including having the chairs rearranged when I wasn't in love with the original design, making sure the chuppah was set up to our liking, making sure all the décor elements we brought were laid out according to our vision, and keeping me up to date on the schedule of the day. I have anxiety so having someone so attentive to my needs and communicative early on in the day melted away some of the anxious bride thoughts that popped up and made it so much easier for me to just enjoy myself and worry a bit less.
Everything that was important to us on our day was perfect. One small thing was that when we were asked the flavor cake we wanted, we requested raspberry marble (and had menus indicating that flavor to our guests) but when we cut into the cake we noticed it was actually lemon pound cake. While we were disappointed, the flavor of the cake wasn't that important to us and we didn't put a big stress on it so we weren't upset longer than a minute as the rest of the day was perfect.
Have your wedding at the Arts Ballroom if you want to have the delicious food-filled wedding of your dreams!

Staff did a great job! We felt taken care of the entire time and never had to worry about anything. They were always making sure we had everything that they needed. Food was very good. Cocktail hour food was provided for us right after the ceremony. Beautiful space. Built in lighting system was great and very effective for the entire evening. Thankful we had our wedding here!

I've never felt compelled to write a review of a wedding venue. My niece was married there just last night. Hands down a PERFECT EVENT. The staff couldn't do enough. They were so friendly. The food and drinks were TOP NOTCH. I just spoke with my sister (mother of the bride), and she said she is still on a high. Well done! A perfect elegant evening paired with a friendly and professional staff. Not to mention a stunning facility.

There is a lot to take in here. The main exhibits right now are about 13th-15th Amendment, the 19th Amendment, and the newest exhibit, the 1st Amendment. There is a live performance about the Constitution given once an hour. It's about 20 minutes and is informative and entertaining.

I'd like to draw the owner of the place's attention to the security people that for some reason decided to be waaaay too rude and unnecessarily aggressive today, 10/14, somewhere about 6pm.
Our team took care of the wedding that is being held there today, right now. As part of the team, I had to go back and forth to bring or remove our props or flowers or whatever. At one point, two guards, a woman and a man, approached me to find out who I was and why I was there. It's worth mentioning that NONE of their inquiries could be called polite. Since English is not my native language, I explained as much as I could and offered to talk to my supervisor that was present at the place at that time.
Instead they refused to see the person and were commanding and trying to drag me away from my team, stopping me from going where I needed to go. People working in a prison behave like that. I was not a guest of the place but I was their guest's contractor, I had every right to be there and these bullying workers' behavior was completely unacceptable and disrespectful.

A lovely spot to take a break from the office on a nice day. Places to sit, a fountain to look at, a café (I’ve never been inside). Convenient to cathedral (across the street), Philly public library, Logan Circle fountain.

Had our wedding ceremony and reception here, and it was everything we dreamed of! Maggie and her team were OUTSTANDING - they worked with us through every step of planning and helped my vision for our intimate, dinner-party wedding come to life. I thought I'd have to skimp on traditions for our unique and small wedding, but the team at Charley Dove ensured we had everything we needed for the most memorable night of our lives. They even allowed me to bring in some decor of my own to ensure the night lived up to my imagination - and they set it all up for us!
The food was amazing and guests consistently came up to us to say it was the best wedding food they've had. Special shout out to the head server, Bastion, and his team - our friends and family raved about the level of service they provided all night. Every dietary request was met without hesitation, drinks were never empty, and they navigated the unique requests of 45 people so efficiently, with grace and kindness.
I am so so grateful we decided to hold our ceremony and reception at Charley Dove. This place holds a special place in our hearts, and we can't wait to host other events here. If you're looking for an intimate event space for a special milestone, you won't regret Charley Dove!

Fantastic experience for kids and adults alike! To begin, the architecture and lobby are breathtaking. We went for the Disney 100 exhibition, which was fantastic for all ages. The interactive science exhibits were also a lot of fun, these are certainly aimed more at children, but our party of all adults had a blast too. The GIANT heart is very cool. Hugely recommend this museum. We were rushed at 2.5 hours. I’d recommend allotting 3-4 hours to not feel rushed.

Amazing place for people of all ages! The architecture is amazing inside and out! Always something new to experience and learn about the many contributions from people/organizations around the world who add value to our daily lives. The hands on approach to learning is genius! Get ready for a workout walking around such a large architectural marvel! Enjoy a nice break and educational session at the shows/workshops offered daily! #Cheers 💎

Spectacular! fantastic food and staff. The prettiest venue I've ever seen!

We had a wonderful experience at the hotel.
We received an excellent and very friendly welcome from the staff.
Our room was spacious and clean. (We had a Junior Suite)
What we liked most was the excellent location of the hotel. We could see the Independnece Hall from our room. The complementary wine tasting was also great.
Valet parking was $72.28 (after tax), but we gladly paid that for the fact that everything worked out wonderfully.

Great park for the kids. My toddler had a blast playing with the various water features. There is even space to have a picnic. Could use a better bathroom and an addition of a changing room would be nice.

My children loved this place, especially the Brain and heart exhibits. I enjoyed the flight exhibit and my husband loved the machine area. The cafe area is large with plenty of seating and lots of food, drinks and snack options. You are also able to bring your own food as many people packed lunches for their kids and themselves. For additional fees, you can purchase tickets to the planetarium and the traveling exhibits. This is definitely cool place to bring the kids or to come enjoy as an adult.

It was an amazing experience. The atmosphere is breathtaking. Open space and good vibes.

My doctor's office is in this building. I love this building!!! There are a lot of different businesses there. There is also an attached garage. You don't have to go outside until you leave. Safe!!!

A hidden gem that is worth the visit. Its mostly for kids but adults can do it as well.
It's like walking through a small jungle in the middle of the city. The landscape was tastefully done and keeps the kids engaged in scenery.

This was such an awesome place from the entrance to the inside. Nice cozy place to have something for a good 30 to 40 people. Plenty of rooms and room to sit. Its very nice for small events, I highly recommend. As you can see parking is very available! 😅

Such fun and brilliance under one roof is unprecedentedly entertaining! Exhibits’ Entry is free! The people are knowledgeable and love answering questions. This is a brainiac moment to live for!

Fabulous visit with friends. The interactive displays are excellent. History of our country’s independence presented in exciting photos, music and narrration.

This is a lovely little museum with so many fun knick knacks and so much interesting history there are also so many good lunch spots nearby decaffently recommend stopping by there's lots to read and lots of interactive things great for the whole family definitely recommend stopping by if you're hanging out in Old City!

Beautiful atrium. Old time barber shop and sandwich shop. There is huge stained glass

My daughter visited the Disney Exhibition with her Summer Camp. And she really enjoyed herself. She loved everything about the Disney Exhibition. It's was thing to see it on TV or at the Movies 🎥
There's a special feeling to see it in real life ❤️.

This venue is so beautiful inside and has the perfect layout that we couldn't have asked for a better place for our wedding.

From the first time that I walked into the Arts Ballroom, I was floored at how big it was once you got inside. A great layout with cocktail and reception being in separate but adjacent rooms. So many people working during events there that there is never any lack of help for any guests. Really pretty inside and the staff is always great with communication from beginning to end.

This is as fun today as it was when we last went over 8 years ago. Our kids are older but still enjoyed it. Of course mostly same exhibits but the Disney was new (required timed entry purchased ahead of time which meant it wasn't overly crowded). It wasn't very science-related but if you're a animates/Disney fan you'd probably like it. The brain was one our favorite areas including the play/climbing structure. The heart was the favorite of my 5year old.

This is a 4.5 star museum. My only gripe is that it tells a sort of traditional textbook history and not as much of a "historian" type history. There isn't enough backstory on what was happening in the world, no real setup of why the Constitution is how it is. Then it just starts telling American history with a sprinkle of amendments. The live show is a bit of a commercial for America. It was all good, mind you. Just didn't have the perspective and nerdiness to be a 5 star museum experience. I'd still recommend it since it fills out a visit to Independence Hall and Park nicely. Definitely don't skip out. Also, I wish it was open 7 days a week. We had to adjust our whole schedule around this museum's opening days.

Worth a look, if you have the time and interest, but not a great museum experience. The best part is undoubtedly the Signers Hall, which is a re-creation of a gathering of signers of the Declaration of Independence through life size statues. The figures are scattered throughout the room so you’re able to walk in and around them, take photos, which is fun. The room gets crowded with other people, so bear in mind. They do have some guides in the room that will provide some background information which is nice. There’s a couple of other exhibition spaces, but I was a little bit disappointed that there wasn’t more in depth examination of the Constitution itself. It’s not going to take a lot of your time to go through it. Its a nice facility with two levels, but not a must do. Admission was $14.50 per adult, but luckily for us, we went on a day when admission was free. Honestly, kind of glad we didn’t pay for it.

Definitely a fun day. Plan ahead and get your tickets online. 3-4 hours should be adequate to see everything but if you want to do all the planetarium shows as well, plan to spend all day to get it all in. We opted for the yearly membership since we are close enough to make multiple trips throughout the year.

My group and I went specifically to see the Disney 100 Exhibit which was wonderful. The staff was friendly and were a great resource with questions and recommendations, and I thought that they were efficient in how they described the tour process. If my group had been staying for a longer time, we would have tried to see the other exhibits

I hosted a business dinner at Charley Dove and everything was perfect. The food was absolutely delicious and was beautifully plated. I took the Creative Director's recommendations on the menu and it did not disappoint. The staff was friendly and attentive. The set up worked perfectly for us - intimate without being crowded. Our party had colleagues from across the US and Europe, and they all raved about this hidden gem. Highly highly recommend!

First and foremost, the venue's aesthetics were truly remarkable. The interior design was tastefully executed, striking a harmonious balance between elegance and modernity. The attention to detail was evident in every aspect, from the beautifully crafted decor to the thoughtfully chosen lighting that created an inviting and immersive atmosphere.
The location was super convenient and easily accessible. It was situated in a prime area with ample parking facilities and public transportation options, making it convenient for attendees to reach the venue without any hassle.
The ARTS BALLROOM will undoubtedly elevate the overall experience and leave a lasting impression.

Great for kids and adults!
Great museum with lots of interactivity for kids of all ages.
Review just for the general admission. They do have a special exhibit you pay separately for. They had the Disney 100 out at the time but we decided to pass as I heard there wasn't much interactive station for the younger kids.
Took my 3 and 8 year old sons and they both had a great time. It took about 4-5 hours to go through everything there. Three floors split into different themes and the shows were all great. Definitely worth seeing the live science show on the 3rd floor. About 20 mins long and both my kids were engaged as they did a good job talking with the audience.
Plenty of tables and seats for lunch. We brought lunch as well as I bought a chicken sandwich and fries at their cafeteria, "the Eatery" and it was decent. Nothing to race about but it was hot food It was nice that you can just grab and go so no real lines.
Parking: they do have street parking walking distance all around the museum but they do have a 3 hour limit. They do have a parking garage underneath and it is $20.
Overall a great place for kids and adults to learn more about science and have a good time. You can definitely spend more than 4 hours there. Worth checking out if you haven't checked it out before.

What a great experience we had. Taylor was absolutely amazing from start to finish. Worth every penny!! 5 Stars !!! Definitely my dream wedding!

It was very educational, it was a smooth place to go through, and you are your own guide. Very well mapped out.

I buy the ticket online and show them at the front desk, pretty easy to get in. This museum has several galleries, all of which tell you why the U.S. constitution is so special.
There are several features that you should not miss.
The first is the “We the People” show, which takes place every hour. The narrator is an Asian female who has done a phenomenal job! Her words are clear, her emotion is strong, and her expression is full of passion. The entire show may lose at least half of the value without her performance! I do enjoy her work so much!
The second is the room with all bronze sculptures of figures who participated in the signing of Declaration of Independence. It is amazing to see those people in real human size gathered in a small room and announced the independence from the Great Britain.
The third is the terrace on the second floor, which gives you a grandiose view of the Independence Park and the Independence Hall.

I would give the Curtis Atrium negative 5 stars if possible. I have assisted with the planning of 5 weddings over the past 10 years. My most recent wedding was my daughters at the Ballroom at the Ben in Philadelphia. My oldest son was married at the Merion in Cinnaminson, NJ. (both top notch venues). I'm a former restaurateur and currently teach culinary arts at a vocational high school. I've never dealt with a wedding coordinator as unprofessional as Lisa. She does not return emails, and if she does the email is always late. My wife and I met with Lisa, my son, and fiancé on Saturday, May 29th. I don't even know where to begin. For $250 per head on a Saturday, you would think everything would be top of the line. Not so. Three beers are offered, one IPA, Yuengling Lager, and Michelob Ultra. I asked if we could add two beers and was told yes with an additional cost. I asked if we could switch two of the beers and was told yes at an additional cost. The bar for cocktail hour and the wedding is not the premium package. Again, for $250 per head a premium bar should be a given. Most of the men in our family drink Crown Royal and my son wanted a Crown Royal Manhattan as a signature cocktail. I asked if we could swap out the Seagram's 7, which is a very low end whiskey, to Crown Royal. Of course I could, at an additional cost. Cordials were not even listed. For cocktail hour, there are a measly 8 passed hors d oeuvres. I asked if we could add 2 more. Of course I could, at an additional cost. The selections for beef on the dinner had prime rib and filet mignon for an additional $10. Here we are at that $250 per head saga. The room for the reception is an additional $3500. Lisa told us the room is sometimes dark in November. For an additional $2500 we could upgrade the lighting. Lisa was unfriendly towards me with these simple requests and replied several times "Ill have to check with my people" All of the wedding coordinators I've dealt with over the years did not have to "check with their people". Lisa also spoke negatively about Finley Catering when I told her my daughter was married at The Ballroom at the Ben, which was truly AMAZING! (very unprofessional). I'm saving the best for last. My future daughter in law asked Lisa at least 3 or 4 times to keep a soft hold on the date. Upon departure, my wife asked if there was a soft hold on the date. Lisa responded like she didn't even know what a soft hold was. She then proceeded to inform us that there was no soft hold and if anyone were to put a deposit on the date we would lose the date. Not even a courtesy phone call or email would be given. Today is Wednesday, May 3rd, and still no contact from Lisa after meeting with "her people" We met with Lisa with the intent of paying a deposit to lock in the date. My daughter in law left in tears. The venue is absolutely beautiful. However, The Curtis really should look at how business should be professionally handled. For the prices they charge, everything should be top of the line and MINOR requests should be granted without "checking with my people!!

We love Sister Cities Park!! From the views to all of the fun activities to do there, to having a cafe with a bathroom, it's absolutely one of the best places to bring young kids.

It was a pleasure hiring ice sculpture philly to create a bowling ball & pins, ice sculpture for my sons wedding.
It was everything & more than i expected. I would definitely use them again.

Relatively small but pretty impressive collection of various scientific devices, books, and other science-related historic artifacts. Very informative interactive desk on the first floor. Overall very well-organized display of the information. I’ve learnt a lot of new stuff about chemistry and physics, that’s for sure. If you get lucky, you might catch one of their guided tours around the museum where they tell you all about science and social activism and how they are interconnected.

I was fortunate to photograph a wedding on New Years Eve for my business, Foschini Photography, at The Curtis Atrium and it was fantastic. Stunning venue both inside and out. Jorden & Lisa were phenomenal to work with. Highly recommended.

There is SO MUCH to see here. I'm really glad we stopped and made time! There is a video presentation with a live presenter that is worth making time to see, and just tons and tons of exhibits to view both upstairs and down. To give it a good go, I would say allow 2 hours to wander - but you could absolutely take longer if desired. It wasn't free, but I felt the ticket price of $14.50 was worth it!

I enjoyed the museum. There were many exhibits on analytical equipment on the first floor. The second floor highlighted many pioneers and innovators in science. I also enjoyed the Object Explorer which was a fun way to learn about the many artifacts on display. Finally, the Downstream exhibit was also very interesting, as well.

My Ice Sculptures were amazing! They went so well with my 50th Fire & Ice Birthday Theme. I am totally coming back again. They have a customer for life.

Peter and his team did an amazing job creating a beautiful Ice Sculpture to surprise my fiancé for my proposal! Not only did Peter and his team get it done last minute but were very professional and supportive in helping me make it an amazing surprise and memorable night! I’m looking forward to their future Ice Sculpture events like Founders Philly Freeze coming to Main Street in Manayunk on Saturday February 4th! Best prices and service around!

Beautiful space very essenctric Love the organized chaos. The venue is so multifaceted you can have anything there love it

If you're thinking of booking a venue in Philadelphia, THIS IS IT! I have been dreaming about my wedding day since I was little and they blew my expectations out of the water. Truly, I cannot recommend this venue, this catering and this staff enough. Everything is perfection. Alaina and Chris specifically are the dream team to work with. If you're looking for two people who will make your day unbelievably personalized, special and EASY then they are your team. The bridal suite was 10/10, they provided us with breakfast + lunch and amazing photo opportunities throughout the day. They allowed all my vendors to come in early, set-up with ease. Alaina from the very start has been incredibly accommodating to all of our requests. She made sure to check-in on us any chance she could throughout the night and with a smile! Chris, the GM, just wow. He was there our entire day and did so many things for us that made the night run smoothly and made it SO FUN. For ex, they surprised us with EXTRA dessert stations for our guests, had an Arts Ballroom Surprise for my husband and I (you'll have to book to find out) and a Champagne waterfall where my husband and I had a special moment with just us. They allowed us to customize our bar menu, got speciality beer for us, and had drinks in our hands all night long. I wish we could go back and do it all over again and again because it was the most perfect day. THANK YOU ARTS BALLROOM!

It's definitely goes high on my top 10 playgrounds of all time simply because of the location in a very Urban environments with super simulated nature rock climbing and waterfall is just wonderful with that Cafe there just incredible

Love the food and the service here. The menu is small but almost everything is good. Bring your own bottle to pair with the food!

This free museum near Independence Hall is a hidden gem for anyone who's curious about the history of science.Their exhibits make an effort to be inclusive, celebrating unsung research pioneers who were women and/or persons of color. Their first floor interactive game made learning about chemicals fun. Another highlight explores the highs and lows of protecting Philly's watershed through the centuries. The staff are friendly and there's a table full of hands-on activities for children.

We attended a wedding in the Atrium. It was a beautiful facility with incredible service and kudos to the chef! The food was magnificent! From the cocktail hour hors d'oeuvres to the plated dinner. All of our table mates were raving that it was the best food at a wedding they had had.

Beautiful unique place for a wedding or any event. Outside courtyard is magical and inside feels warm and inviting. A great choice if you don’t want a soulless wedding venue like a lot of them are. You can really put your own touch on the space.
We love DJing here and it always attracts fun couples with eclectic musical tastes.

The food here is SPECTACULAR. And the perfect presentation of each plate was impressive too. I didn’t have one bad dish. Service was first rate as well. Extra points that they’re BYOB! Will definitely be back and highly recommend as a hidden gem in Philly.

UNFORGETTABLE! - From the ownership, culinary team and staff who go above and beyond to ensure that your day is joyously perfect, to the exquisite venue with excellence abound, the Arts Ballroom is the only place to celebrate any momentous occasion!
For a bit of context, my wife and I were one of the many couples that had to delay their Wedding because of COVID. In total we went through four emotionally challenging date changes. Yet with each date change, Alaina and John always made themselves available providing updates, answering any and all questions and providing a caring and compassionate ear for our concerns. They listened intently and demonstrated what true hospitality is.
Fast forward to September 5th, our Wedding date... From the moment my wife and I joyously crossed over the threshold of the Arts Ballroom every concern melted away as we quickly realized that every detail was taken care of! The magnificent venue was decorated exactly as imagined down to the smallest detail of the accent lighting switching for our delicious plated dinner service! To borrow the words of Mary Poppins, our day was 'practically perfect in every way' and will forever be one of the best days of our lives and one that our friends and family will talk about for years!
Mallory - Our Day of Attendant greeted us with a loving smile and magically appeared whenever we needed anything!
Chris - Our Maître d' ensured that every one of our family and friends was taken care of as though it was their special day, including our parents, who still talk about the top-level service that they received that day.
Chef - D-lici-ous! - Typically venues struggle reproducing the same delicious food that couples have during their tasting. However, this is where the Arts Ballroom thrives! Every item that came out of the kitchen from the delectable passed hors d'oeuvres to the elegantly delicious plated service to the delightful desserts. Every bite was cheer perfection!
Alaina - Our Event Specialist was a couples dream come true!! She was our very own Fairy Godmother helping to make our dream Wedding become a reality! Every email and/or phone call was handled with the utmost of care, compassion and professionalism! She was incredibly detail orientated and truly cared about our Wedding experience treating our special day as though it were her own. We couldn't say enough wonderful things about Alaina. She was truly a gift and helped make our Wedding dreams come true!
John - One of the Arts Ballroom owners was incredible to work with from day one. His professionalism was unmatched and that was demonstrated in each of the employees that worked the evening of our Wedding. They were a well-oiled dream making machine and John was right there with them on our very special day constantly checking in and

This was a last minute reservation.. and will certainly be back! Everything was delicious! I’d just say maybe use a smaller dish for the Caesar salad so it looks like you’re getting more than 3 bites of lettuce. Will 100% be back!

Very interesting museum with lots of room for learning! I love this place! The staff is cool too. I did a quick through and ended up taking more time than I expected to take. It was well worth it.

Love the new digs. Great food and great service.
Started off to a great start with a complementary amuse bouche.
We got the hummus, Caesar salad, bbq roasted squid, roasted beats, veal short ribs and finished off with Mediterranean rice pudding.

I hosted my annual awards ceremony here. I am so in love with this space. The aesthetics are magnificent. The owners are amazing, kind, and worked with me. I appreciated the customer service. I definitely recommend hosting and/or attending an event here. Well worth anything required.

This is truly a super cool venue. My company recently provided a booth for a wedding here and we absolutely love the rustic and open air vibe at The Sculpture Courtyard. All vendors involved in the wedding collaborated well and Twinkle Photo Booth hopes to attend more events here in the future!

We visited this restaurant a few years ago when it was called Audrey Claire. Located on a quaint corner in Rittenhouse, Charley Dove now still serves Mediterranean fare, but even more delicious. Dishes are beautiful presented and their taste is amazing. Servers are attentive and very friendly. Don’t forget your wine, as this place is BYOB, and no corkage fee surprise! They even brought us a bucket of ice for our white wine. I recommend the Baby Octopus and the veal, but everything seems delicious.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about this venue and most importantly Brielle and JP. My family was running late so I was left to start setting up by myself. Brielle and JP rolled up their sleeves to help me out. I had a great experience from the moment I looked at the venue until the end of my event…from answering all my crazy questions via email promptly to assisting the day of. Not to mention the place is gorgeous and such a cool vibe. I would 1000% recommend this hidden gem for your next event.

A wonderful place to bring children. There's a Cafe, a bathroom with a changing station, a sprinkler and gated area with a small pool surrounded by trees, additional sprinklers and a large hammock. Parking isn't too much of a hassle as spots are often opening up on the parkway, however if you can avoid driving down and either walking or using Septa it may save having to drive around until something opens up.. I would suggest this place 1000 times over for parents looking for a nice comfortable place to cool off

A cool place on the way from Art museum to Love park. The main attraction is the fountain and AMOR statue shown in the pictures below. One can get inside the fountain and enjoy. Also there is a small fountain for kids to enjoy across the street. Paid parking is available nearby. Sister park cafe is also located in the kids park.

Peter is an amazing and talented ice sculptor and I highly recommend him for any upcoming event you have that involves an ice sculpture. He is responsive, easy to work with, and creative! We recently asked him to make an ice sculpture for our brewery for the Chestnut Hill on Ice event. We were pretty vague with our direction and asked him to include our dogs, who are our mascots, and make it "brewery-themed" and interactive if possible. He took that and ran with it, making us a beautiful sculpture that our customers loved. He also made us very cool ice glasses for our customers to drink beer out of them. We are thrilled with Peter and his team!

Peter and his team created an amazing custom sculpture for a family birthday party. My guidance was something abstract and spikey - they sketched it out and sent me a design plan capturing exactly what we wanted. Delivered right to our front yard. Highly recommend.

I wish I could rate the Arts Ballroom more that 5 stars, because it really deserves it! My husband and I were recently married there (Feb 2020), and our experience from the moment we walked in for our first tour to the last few minutes of our wedding day was outstanding. This was the first venue we looked at, and we walked out knowing we didn't need to see any other venue. The service, staff and management were spectacular. Kayleigh was our wedding coordinator, who was extremely accommodating, responsive and a pleasure to work with. Her and her team made all of our "wants" come true. The compliments and praise (especially for their cocktail hour, food and service!) are continuing to pour in from our guests, which makes booking this venue the best decision we made to celebrate our special day!

The staff was friendly, attentive, and set up promptly. The venue is rustic, quiet, and beautiful. Kind of hard to find, but it's definitely a best kept secret.

Pretty average Mediterranean brunch, and a bit overpriced. I was really hoping to like this place - I always walk by and the shop seems so cozy and cute, but felt disappointed by the food and overall experience.
Atmosphere: Going in for brunch on a Saturday, and was very surprised at how empty the restaurant was (we went in around 11am). The space felt very minimalist, and doesn't have too many tables. The space is relatively small, and there's an open kitchen, which I liked. I personally thought it felt a bit too sanitized, with the completely white walls. I think it was trying to go for a romantic feel? But it felt a bit too bright - probably better to go for a casual brunch with friends (it's BYOB) than a nice brunch date. Staff was friendly, and food came out quickly (we were in and out within 45 minutes).
Food: I may have been spoiled by the other amazing Mediterranean options in Philly, but this brunch just didn't meet my expectations. The hummus was average, but I prefer other hummus options in the city (mostly because I prefer other pita bread). The shakshuka tasted way too spicy for me (maybe should have been expected, given the spicy peppers), and the lamb burger was also quite bland. The lamb meat tasted good on its own, but felt a little drowned out by the additional hummus they put in the burger. On the whole, I've definitely tasted better hummus, pita, lamb, and shakshuka at lower prices within the city.
Main negative: My main complaint, other than the price of the food, was that the glasses weren't very clean. The atmosphere looked clean, but there were little fuzzies/lint around the water glasses, which was a bit unsettling for me.
Overall: 2.5 / 5, overall average experience, and generally overpriced. Maybe worth it if you want a "nicer" Mediterranean brunch? But I don't think I'll be going back any time soon. There are just many other better and more affordable options for this type of food in Philly.

Beautiful venue! This is a hidden gem in center city. We had my job's winter gala here. Every detail was impeccable. It was as perfect as a wedding without the vows. They even arranged parking at the garage across the street. The cocktail reception was in a beautifully appointed room with a very large bar to accommodate a crowd. Several appetizer stations with delicious food. Dinner was in the grand ballroom which included a large dancefloor, a grand staircase, and large separate area for buffet dinner service. During the dance time they had the party lights that took the party to the next level. The acoustics were amazing. You can enjoy the music but it didn't drown out table conversations. I am certain that we will use this venue for years to come!

Every year Peter and his team make an awesome cat ice luge for our penn veterinary fundraiser for a Thailand veterinary service trip!! They always look amazing and are delivered on time and in pristine condition. Everyone loves it!! It is always an absolute hit and has helped us raise a lot of money. Thanks to Ice Sculpture Philly! They NEVER disappoint.

Our ice sculpting adventure was amazing. A very interactive experience where everyone in the group learned a skill to build our family ice throne. Ice cutting power saws, the nail board and the etching tool were all we needed. Peter was the perfect teacher sharing his experience and know how. And to top it off, we celebrated our success with a family toast in mugs of ice. Thank you Peter!

I was invited to a meet and greet. It was a wonderful experience. Peter gave us a tour he was very informative and helped us to make a great choice for my god-daughter Sweet Sixteenth birthday party. The food and wine were also excellent.
