The venue itself is stunning, offering the perfect blend of elegance and modernity. The food was absolutely fantastic, delighting our guests with every bite. The bar services were top-notch, offering a great selection of drinks and impeccable service.

Communication with the team at Second Floor Events was a breeze. They were incredibly responsive to emails and always available to answer our questions. This level of attentiveness made planning our big day much easier and stress-free.

The staff at the venue were phenomenal. Every member of the team was so sweet, professional, and dedicated to ensuring our day went off without a hitch. Their hard work and warm demeanor truly made a difference and contributed to the perfection of our wedding day.

We can't say enough good things about Second Floor Events. The combination of fantastic food, excellent bar service, smooth operations, and an incredible team made our wedding day unforgettable. It was the Perfect Venue for an Initmate & Causal Wedding
We had our 50-guest wedding on June 22, 2024, and opted for the "Worry-Free" Wedding package, which truly lived up to its name! The ceremony took place on the 3rd floor and the reception on the main floor, perfectly matching our aesthetic and vision. Both spaces had undergone recent updates since our initial walkthrough in spring 2023, which only added to the charm of the venue and our special day.

Anna Tran and all the staff at LOQ were truly exceptional and went above and beyond to assist us throughout the day. Anna, in particular, was amazing and managed to bring our vision to life. Our family and friends are still raving about the delectable food, outstanding service, and the unique ambiance of the space.

We wholeheartedly recommend this venue. It deserves a rating of 100 out of 10!

I attended a wedding at Lodge On Queen. It was absolutely beautiful! The venue was industrial looking with such elegance! Staff were also amazing!

Nice high end art with prices to match, very well displayed in a historic Distillery District brick and stone space. It's a bigger gallery than one would expect from the street.
The cool air conditioning was very welcome on this hot day, slso. It's an inviting place with many comfortable couches (we didn't avail ourselves of them but they looked nice).

I’ve been wanting to try this place out. However, for whatever reason, it’s always closed. I’d encourage them to update their business hours so it’s not misleading and maybe picking up the phone if requiring people to book access.

If you’re choosing to go here, please make sure to call ahead of time so that you don’t waste your time.

I hosted a consumer trade show at The Symes in June'24. Namita and her team were personable, accessible, constructive, and dedicated to making the event go well for all of our exhibitors. The space is tremendous, if you haven't been, it's definitely worth the trip to have a look, it's bright, airy, very unique and was perfect for our needs!

We are a full service event agency and work with venues all across North America and The Symes was one of the best to work with!

Great little venue, with amazing food, and simple but stylish decor. As a photography I wish they didn’t use so much purple lighting as it was a pain to white balance later…but that’s life I suppose.

We had our wedding event here on January 20th, 2024 (Nikkah ceremony and reception). The venue is very beautiful with exposed brick walls and hanging lights. We had about 125 guests. For the most part, we had an incredible experience.

PROS
- They provided halal meat options in a western style cuisine which was very important to us.
- They were very accommodating with our decor and staging, as well as menu changes and dietary restrictions.
- The food tasting that we had was so detailed and special. They made little signs and just overall made it a very romantic experience.
- Communication was excellent - not once did I have to wonder about anything. They guided us through everything and there really were no surprises.
- A special shoutout for Niamh. She made this process so easy and comfortable for us. She is kind and has a great personality. I thoroughly enjoyed working with her. She is extremely detail oriented and organized. She made sure we went through everything we needed to leading up to the wedding.
- The food was also very good, no complaints there.
- The wedding itself was a great experience. It was beautiful, Niamh helped coordinate everything the day of as well.

CONS
- We do not have many complaints, however one disappointing thing I would say was the rollout of our canapés during cocktail hour. We had multiple guests complain that they did not receive any canapés and that the rollout was extremely slow. During the event, my parents brought this issue up to the venue, however nothing really changed. We should have had enough canapés to go around for everyone but for some reason that was not the case. Food is a huge part of Bengali weddings and this was a little bit of an embarrassment for us as hosts. We brought it up to Niamh afterwards as well, and she confirmed that all the canapés were served and that they spaced out the timing of the canapés so that it lasted throughout the cocktail hour. Something doesn’t add up, because majority of my guests complained that they did not receive any apps and that they barely saw the servers come out. I’m not sure if there was some miscommunication or if they aren’t used to working the venue at max capacity but I really wish this situation was handled way better.
- Other than that, the only issue was that the iPad used to control the music was lagging a lot. Not a huge issue, but definitely something to note.

Overall, other than the cocktail hour situation, I was very happy with the service, the wedding, the venue. It was beautiful and Niamh was excellent throughout all the planning.

Perfect raw space for any type of event. The staff are top notch

Owner was super nice. Easy booking process and shoe rentals. Theres washrooms and clothing racks for customers, as well as food, snacks and drinks available for purchase. Very fun bowling place! Near a subway station too.

We went with a group of people from work and it was my first time going to Danforth Bowl. What a great time we all had! The staff was awesome! Very welcoming,well organized and clean bowling alley! Would recommend Danforth Bowl!

Stunning contemporary gallery in the heart of the distillery district. The art is modern and interesting without being absurd. We had a positive experience purchasing our art. The gallery was accommodating. Joanne was a delight to work with and provided professional and warm service. We look forward to working with the gallery again.

Wife and I celebrated our 10-year anniversary last year. We wanted a venue that felt unique and cozy. As soon as we walked into the space, we knew Lodge on Queen was it. Their all-inclusive packages are reasonably priced, and Anna was so wonderful to work with, making the entire process practically effortless. Her staff were also incredibly kind and warm during the night, and were highly complimented by our guests.

The AGO was absolutely lovely to experience. I haven't been here prior to being a baby and it was definitely worth it! I picked up some prints and they are beautiful. Do remember to check each piece of artwork carefully as the first KAWS artwork that I bought had a little yet noticeable mark on it that I had to exchange. They let me exchange it without the receipt thankfully as I had lost it so bonus points for that!

Our Perfect Fall Wedding

This was the first venue that my husband and I visited while searching for our wedding venue and we both said to each other “I can see us getting married here.” From the beginning, SF was responsive, accommodating, and made us feel comfortable every step of the way. We met Rachel who gave us a tour of the venue and we immediately fell in love with the venue. Rachel was so warm and never pressured us to make a decision. We compared proceeding venue tours to SF and ultimately couldn’t stop thinking about this venue (the exposed brick, twinkling lights, marquee, photo light boxes, beautiful bar, and large windows.. it was unmatched with anything else we saw).

We worked with our venue coordinator Niahm Byrne for the year and she was amazing! She was prompt with communication and always addressed our concerns in a swift and professional manner. I changed my mind on a lot of things and was indecisive at some points but Niahm never rushed me and was always flexible in any changes we made. She was so helpful when we needed some guidance with the menu selection, drinks, and decor. We had about 100 guests and the space was just right and allowed for room for guests to mingle while still maintaining the intimate and romantic vibe we wanted to have. The space is perfect for the romantic, moody, warm, intimate fall wedding I envisioned.

One of the top reasons we chose SF was because they’re renowned for having amazing food and they definitely did not disappoint. Our menu tasting was like a fine dining experience in itself and we even got to chat with their head chef. We were able to taste the wine as well from their wide array of wine selections. Our guests raved about the food, particularly the pork belly baos and braised short rib. For any guests that have strict dietary restrictions and/or allergies, SF is extremely accommodating with creating alternatives, which we appreciated as we had many guests with nut allergies. The drinks were also top notch, my signature cocktail was a pineapple margarita and it was a crowd hit!

Looking back on my wedding day, there is nothing I would change and I look at my photographs with such pride and joy. Niahm along with SF staff and of course our coordinators ensured our day ran smoothly and without a hitch. SF truly exceeded my expectations and helped me bring to life the fall wedding of my dreams. I recently attended an event at Second Floor Events, and it was truly exceptional. The ambiance, adorned with bistro lights and a charming brick wall, added a touch of elegance to the occasion. Rachael and Laura's assistance was invaluable – their professionalism and attentiveness ensured everything ran seamlessly. The culinary experience surpassed expectations, with the food being nothing short of amazing. The bartender, too, deserves praise for providing a wonderful and enjoyable experience. Overall, a highly recommended venue for any special occasion.

I do love going to the ROM... However we did go on family day thinking it would be a nice day out for getting that it was family day. We will be back as it was extremely busy which is fine again I totally forgot that it was family day and a lot of people were there lined up. I will be going back to the ROM a few times more this year as they have some new exciting exhibits coming that I'm really wanting to see and to be immersed in.

We just had our wedding at Second Floor Events on January 13, 2024 and it was an absolute dream. From the first time we stepped into the venue for a tour we knew it was the one. The brick walls and the long bar were the things that caught our eye first and loved that the space could be open and closed off. Since we had both our ceremony and reception all in this space guests loved that they just had to go from one side of the room to the other and didn't have to travel to another location.

Then we had our tasting and the food was INCREDIBLE! This was one of the many positive comments we got from guests was how incredible the food was from beginning to end.

Niamh was our event coordinator from the venue and she was so delightful to work with. From her professional and sweet demeanour I knew that she would make our day exactly how we wanted it. She was so quick to respond to my many questions, and was able to make me feel calm at a time where there was a lot going on.

I would 100% recommend Second Floor Events to future couples that are in search of a venue, they have truly thought of every little detail so you don't have to!

This studio served us extremely well for our Wedding and New Years party. The features available to us were extensive and the place is adorable even without our added decorations. The studio owner is extraordinarily friendly, professional, responsive and helpful. He helped us in so many ways and made our event go by without any major issues. I would very highly recommend Toronto Event Space Rentals for anyone looking for a cozy feature rich studio or event space.

Hosted my kiddo’s birthday party there yesterday. Brenda and the rest of the staff at Danforth Bowl operated like a well-oiled machine. Perfect timing, no fuss, cash bar, kids and adults had a blast. They were all sweethearts to work with and I would not hesitate to book another event there! DB is one of the rare places in the city that has five-pin!

AGO Events at 317 Dundas Street W in Toronto is fantastic! The art gallery is stunning, filled with amazing artworks. The staff is super friendly and helpful. It's a must-visit place for art lovers. I had a great time there!

Malaparte is an intimate yet exquisite fine dining establishment. We had the pleasure of having our annual work Christmas party here and they did not disappoint in the slightest. Friendly and quick service, always making sure we had food in our mouth and a drink in our hands. The team was excellent and the food was delicious. The views of the city are phenomenal and the rooftop view of the CN tower was spectacular. I would recommend any business or group to host an event here. I can’t wait to be back next year. Thank you to all of the hard working staff for putting on a night to remember. We truly do appreciate it.

I photographed a wedding at the Symes and it was the ultimate experience! They accommodated such amazing food stations, room flips, and two cocktail hour time slots! They were so amazing and every single dish was phenomenal! The space was set up beautifully as well!

We recently had our wedding at Second Floor Events and we were totally blown away by how wonderful everything turned out. Many of our guests came up to us raving about how much they loved the food and drinks. The venue itself is just beautiful and can adapt to any vibe you want. Working with Niamh during the planning process was a breeze! She's super organized, pays attention to every detail, and was so patient in helping us make our décor and set up ideas come to life. They were so flexible with bringing in our special treats from our countries and are even able to make great wedding cakes and favours in-house. The tasting was a blast, everything we tried was delicious. The staff there were amazing, making sure everything ran smoothly, and the bartenders were not only super friendly but also masters at mixing up some fantastic cocktails. We can't recommend this place enough! :)

Beautiful gallery with a wonderful staff. Held a wedding ceremony and cocktail reception there and we were blown away. Staff went out of their way to help us when my wife’s dress got a tear in it and found a store nearby with a sewing kit to fix it.

Not only is this an amazing gallery but it was also a beautiful venue for our wedding. The staff was incredibly nice and helpful throughout the planning process. We loved having our special day in the beautiful space!

I attended a wedding at this establishment this past Saturday night, and I can't express how utterly disgusted I am with the service we received.

The bar managers behaviour was beyond reprehensible. Despite the event having an open bar, he took it upon himself to verbally abuse the guests. He accused us of having too many drinks in a quick succession. This would have been frustrating on its own, but his rudeness and aggression toward the guests were inexcusable.

I understand the need to manage alcohol consumption responsibly, but this was on an entirely different level. He treated us as if we were beneath him, screaming at everyone, pointing his finger in our faces and even reducing one of the bridesmaids to tears with his aggressive behavior.

At one point, I tried to see his name tag because I couldn't believe how unprofessional he was being, and he responded by puffing out his chest and saying, 'Look at my name tag; I don't care. Nothing will happen to me’ This level of unprofessionalism is astounding. I can't fathom how someone with such a poor attitude and demeanor still has a job in customer service. I've been to many weddings, and I've never encountered such terrible service.

If you're considering hosting your wedding here, be warned – your guests will be subjected to verbal abuse by the bar manager. This venue was beautiful, and the other staff were friendly. It was the bar manager’s behaviour that was absolutely unacceptable.

Attended a beautiful wedding here last Saturday. The staff and food were great, however the bar manager was not. He did not allow us have more than one drink every hour. We thought maybe this was Smart Serve policy, but we were well within our rights to have more than one drink every hour. This venue should not offer open bar services if it intends to limit drinks to guests this way. The manager made me feel guilty and even reminded me of the whiskey shot I had 30 minutes prior. I drink responsibly and have never been denied drinks before this experience. The wedding was great, but the manager was extremely rude and cheap.

I highly recommend Toronto Event Space Rentals for any of your future events. To start, Daniel is an amazing host. He made the process completely stress free and was incredibly accommodating. Next, the space itself is absolutely beautiful and somehow looks even better in person than in the pictures/virtual tour on his website. I hosted a surprise engagement party for my fiancee and she absolutely loved the space. The tea lights, plants, and couches give it a really homie vibe. The spot was incredibly spacious easily accommodating my 30 guests. There was folding tables to serve food and extra chairs as needed. I did not need to decorate a single thing, the place was just perfect. Parking was also very convenient with plenty of street parking around. I want to thank Daniel for making my experience so stress free. I will definitely back for events in the future.

Are you looking for a truly worry-free wedding? Please, look no further. We had our wedding reception at the Lodge on Queen after postponing due to COVID, and let me tell you - it was the best night ever. The space is super cool and our guests loved it.
Anna - the venue’s event planner - put on the best event EVER, and the supporting staff were absolutely incredible. Through the planning process Anna was super helpful in answering any questions we had, and executed the event perfectly. There wasn’t anything I would have changed. We suspect our friends and family will be talking about how much fun they had, and how amazing their experience was for years to come.

We loved the venue as soon as we walked in – it has a great vibe – comfortable, and yet very elegant. We were tasked with finding a “cool venue” to host a high school prom, and after a long search – Lodge on Queen was the perfect fit.

We were even more impressed by the venue after meeting and chatting with Anna, the Event Planner there. She is so friendly and easy to work with – and had SO many great ideas that we incorporated into our event.

On the night of, we then got to meet the rest of Anna’s team and they were incredible! Super professional and helpful - we just showed up with bags of event gear and food – and they all immediately got to work right away knowing what to do! We did not have to do or explain a thing- they instinctively knew what to do. We felt like everything was completely well in hand the whole time.

Anna, her team, and the Chef were so organized, having everything timed down to the minute – which I was super impressed with and grateful for. The event went perfectly from beginning to end.

Anna even sewed one of our guests’ dresses back together right in the middle of the event – super impressive!!

The students are still talking about how great the venue was, and how amazing the whole evening was – and that is high praise from teenagers!

A big thank you to Anna and her team for a truly memorable night – we will not hesitate to book an event again here in the future.

My experience at this space was amazing! To start, Danny was a fantastic host and was very accommodating and helpful to any requests that I had. I had every questioned answered and it made the whole process swift and easy.

The space looked great on the website but breathtaking in person. The Boho theme was relaxing but elegant and it set the entire vibe of what I was going for. Every guest that came in also had incredible things to say about the look and decor of the place. It was a very spacious space and easily fit 30 people with no problem at all.

Overall I was absolutely satisfied with what the space had to offer and I would definitely recommend it to anyone who is interested in renting this place out for an event.

I moved back from Barcelona to Toronto in July last year, and was anxious to get back into sailing again. I chatted with Westwood, and made contact with Julia (who was in Membership) and she convinced me to join. Well, the sailing is cold (compared to the Mediterranean) but the people are incredibly warm, lots of fun, and really live the sailing life. Plus, you can't beat 'cottage in the city' vibe here. I'm happy & proud to have joined this wonderful club!

I've got nothing but good things to say about Lodge on Queen after photographing an anniversary party there last fall.

Anna and her staff were on top of things from the moment I arrived until I left 4 hours later - between fulfilling my requests, as well as my clients and their guests. They also never seemed to slow down on the super tasty hors d'oeuvres being brought out for the guests.

What really captured my attention at Lodge on Queen was the look of the space. This venue has it all for the beautiful rustic loft look. Wooden floors, exposed brick, stained glass and walls covered in stunning art work. Even the furniture selection was very tastefully done.

All in all, I highly recommend this venue for anyone to looking for a place to host their event or wedding. You really can't go wrong.

I had the pleasure of photographing a wedding at this gorgeous venue last fall and can't wait to do another one.

The style of venue is right up my alley - beautiful brick and exposed wooden beams create the perfect loft look. They had other great small touches like string lights, marquee signs and large paneled windows that leave enough room for couples/clients to add their own touches.

Working with the staff was a breeze as soon as I arrived. They kept me in the loop with upcoming events to make sure I wouldn't miss a moment and helped me out with small requests that I needed to do my job.

It's also worth stating that the location of 2nd Floor Events offers a lot of great backgrounds for photo sessions including the alley it's entrance is on + King & Queen's Street. I will be sure to mention this to my next client that books here as we ended up doing our photos in Liberty Village.

Finally, how could I forget about the food. So amazing! The cut of beef was cooked to perfection and so flavourful. I can't wait to return!

Beautiful place, better in person than what you see in pictures and very spacious. We had our baby shower, which had a lot of natural light with a high ceiling, and the decoration was beautiful and looked amazing when we took the photo. All our guests loved the space, and we all felt very comfortable. It was very clean and easy to find for anyone. I recommend this space to anyone who wants to have meetings or celebrate special events.

If you appreciate art and want to get married at a unique venue, Thompson Landry Gallery is the place to go. I have shot a few weddings there, and what I love most about it is that, because of its uniqueness, it doesn't require a lot of decor. A photo shoot in the Distillery District is a fantastic bonus for creating stunning images on the wedding day.

Renting the loft at Toronto Event Space Rentals for a private mixer was a joy! 10/10

The space was clean, the service was instant and friendly, and it came equipped with all the furniture we needed.

The lighting and decor was pretty and boho chic, balanced against a blend of rustic stained wood tables and stainless steel stools. The perfect balance of masculine and feminine energies!

The size of the rental space was perfect as well; the loft had 3 gigantic windows for abundant natural light!

I highly recommend this space and my friends and I are already planning to rent it again it for a micro-wedding, a gender reveal and baby shower, and a toddler’s first birthday party in the near future!

Very good catering venue! Workplace party functions, different business organizations and marriages are popular booking options here. Loved working in the laid back kitchen with good chefs.

Lovely venue! We experienced a wedding here and the views of the city are great. The spot in front of the CNE Tower is nice in the day or night. Staff were attentive, drinks were great and food was good. I can't want to come back here to have a casual day out.

We had a beautiful baby shower at this event space which provided wonderful lighting, colours and natural light. Every detail in the design complimented our theme. The place was extremely clean and for any professional occasion. The kitchenette was very fantastic and useful for everything we had to prepare for delicious meal. Everyone had a great time and absolutely loved the adorable swings. We couldn’t be more thankful for a great time and look forward to booking another gorgeous event in the future.

This place is one of the top five art galleries in Toronto. Great location and awesome for events. My biggest beef is their extremely limited hours of operation. They close at 5pm meaning their accessibility to the general public is very low It's a shame such a treasure is limited to the wealthy elites who don't have a schedule.

The place has great views to offer along with it's superb hosting services. The staff was very polite and efficient.

Amazing!! The space was as beautiful as expected and was the exact right vibe for the wedding we were looking for.
Anna and Shandra were on top of everything and made sure that all of our guests (and us!) had the best night and that everything went as planned.
On top of that, the food and service from the staff was top notch. Our guests were raving the whole night about how great the food was. Great experience all around and I am looking forward to an excuse to have another event at the Lodge on Queen again.

What an amazing experience with the Symes! Rachel and Namita were the backbones and strength for our special wedding day. Westwood Sailing Club is a not-for-profit co-operative sailing and social club. Since 1967, Westwood has provided affordable access to sailing in Toronto. We're located near Cherry Beach, giving you great access to Lake Ontario.

Membership to Westwood Sailing Club provides you access to a fleet of dinghy sailboats (Albacores, Lasers, and Catamarans), which are available for all members to use. Our affordable membership includes unlimited sailing, access to classes with Sail Canada instructors, and use of our waterfront clubhouse.

Westwood has the BEST sailing instructors in the city. In three years I've gone from total beginner to participating in an international sailing competition in Nova Scotia that was an epic adventure. I can't recommend giving it a try enough!

Attended a VIP event and the staff and location were amazing. Cool venue.

We loved having our wedding at the Symes! We hosted out ceremony and cocktail hour downstairs and moved the party upstairs for the reception. The brick and open space allowed us to bring our vision to life. The lighting is incredible and the rooftop terrace upstairs made for the perfect outside space for a dancing break. The staff are also amazing - Namita helped us from the beginning and was outstanding, and everyone on her team were instrumental in having our day run smoothly. Can't recommend it enough!

I went to a wedding. The spacious room was beautifully arranged with long tables and round tables adorned with hundreds of codes and superb huge bouquets of white flowers. The 10 member band faced a big dance floor. The chandeliers were also decorated with flowers. The procession of black lad waiters and waitresses add to the elegance of the high-ceiling room. A gorgeous decor for a beautiful celebration of love.

I am a first time visitor and I was blown away by the pieces in here. Such a great job with the layout as well. You can privately view the artworks silently in sectioned corners. Love it!

Good location for events

I have been here twice for two different pop ups. This is a great space. The space is perfect for a variety of different layouts depending on the event.

Incredible downtown Toronto venue, two floors of antique furniture and eclectic decor. Absolutely perfect for weddings! I hosted a styled shoot there as the photographer and the owners were so accommodating and helpful. You can see how amazing it is from the pictures. Highly recommend!!!

I just got married there last weekend and it was the BEST wedding ever! The space is so beautiful and raw. We were able to decorate the room into a winter wonderland which was exactly what we envisioned. Inside it felt so warm with the most beautiful lighting. All the staff were outstanding and could not have been more helpful.- especially Viviana. The catering/food was unbelievable. We had the ceremony upstairs and the reception downstairs. We had no problems with sound and the acoustics were perfect! It is obvious why this is becoming the most popular wedding spot for a large group (>250). Cant wait to attend many more Symes events :)

Interesting venue, nice big open space.

Beautiful small venue to have a wedding. Doesn't need much decorating. The views are very nice with clear shots of the CN tower. It can get windy here in the fall time. The in-house dj was one of the best with great taste in music for the appropriate crowd and smooth transitions. The food was also very good - no issues there as well. Recommend for events of 130ish people.

Have been a member for over a year. Club is fantastic! Great instructors, existing members are very welcoming and friendly. Unlike other clubs, everyone is allowed to participate in all races and events (including new sailors). It's a great place to make new friends and bring old friends. There is no judgement.

The Symes hosted our wedding earlier this month and we couldn't have been happier we chose this location. The space is absolutely gorgeous; with it's exposed brick and art deco design, it has to be seen in person to truly appreciate it's beauty & uniqueness. The venue also has an amazing rooftop terrace that offers picturesque sunset photos.

But what really makes The Symes exceptional are the people who run it. Namita and her team were incredibly accommodating with all our special requests and really made us feel like we were the most important clients they have ever had. The evening was stress-free and that's a testament to how well they took care of every detail.

Great staff, very friendly. We organized a nice event here for someone’s birthday and they made it very easy to set up and accommodating for us as well. They have snacks so it helps to set things up for you wether you are a group or 2 people. It’s very homey and cozy. They took the time to explain their system well so it made it easy to set up your group as well. I definitely give them two thumbs up. Because of the stairs and the fact that they are in the basement, they aren’t wheelchair friendly but that would be the only thing for them to improve on in the future.

This is a great conference space located in the heart of the art gallery of Ontario. I have presented here numerous times for Stephen Thomas’ Digital Leap. I love this conference and the location makes it even more of a treat. The staff is attentive and the food and beverages are great.

Terrific. My daughter loves it there in the teen programs. Greatly improved her confidence and flexibility. We've also held parties here for a club and birthday, always an excellent time. Love all the end of seasons shows that allow the kids to showcase their hard work.

Took my first sailing lessons here, instructors were very friendly and competent. However not much social event compare to other club. Some older members are not very welcoming to new member and don't not feel welcome. Will most likely not sign up again next year.

Unbelievably rude and child unfriendly staff.
I attended 2 separate preschool parties at their Gerard location and during both - attending parents were looking at each other and saying:"Are these people for real? These are 3 year olds".

I will NOT recommend this place to anyone or ever be go back there again.

I took beginner lessons at Westwood Sailing Club five years ago and been a member ever since. It's a great place to learn to sail. But there's a lot more than lessons - there's weekly BBQs, parties, races, regattas. Short bike ride from downtown. We're not a fancy yacht club. It's like a co-op - your membership gives you access to a fleet of sail boats. It's laid back. Come down after work. Go for a sail with a friend. Share in a BBQ. Drink a beer. Nothing is better than being on the lake in the summer.

This is my 13th summer at Westwood. I go at least 3 times a week, rain or shine (prefer shine) - racing, helping new sailors improve their sailing, just going sailing for the pleasure of it, or just going to the club to sit and swap stories with old friends and new.

Lake Ontario is a fabulous ever-changing wonder of nature. Its so sweet to have this access to the water not far from the heart of the city. I love this club.

I learned to sail at Westwood and it has been a fantastic experience. After 3 years, we now participate in some very competitive regattas and races. I am amazed that so few people know about this affordable summer sport and activity. What I like the most is that I can sail any day or evening of the week as it is so close to the city, yet it feels so secluded and relaxing.
