Amazing experience at this Establishment, great food, exceptional service and a greeter second to none😎
First time going to something like this.

Basically is is a giant room, with multiple projections going on. Not sure if it is LED or laser but each wall as something going on.

The projections dont have continuity. You will see spaceships and aliens one moment and then octopus and dinosaurs the next. There doesn't seem to be a storyline.

Also the "interactive"activities are dumb. Its kids games on the floor projected onto the wall. Think of a game such as you to catch an octopus with a bubble and you make the bubble by stepping on the floor. Its kids games. You will bore of it soon. Even the staff were bored.

You are locked in this one room, being blasted by loud techno music, bombarded by these incoherent images on the wall while running back and forth on the ground trying to make bubbles to catch octopus.

Once you leave the room you get sent to an overpriced gift shop. Expect to pay around 30 bucks for a mini lite brite.

I would never do this again. It think it is over priced and not worth the hype. It would have been better if there were multiple rooms with things to see and do... But you make your own opinions

We went on a saturday evening and there was 0 wait and it was not busy at all which was awesome. Staff is nice and got everyone involved in the interactive aspect. Visuals and sound are good quality and it was an enjoyable experience!
Was there for a wedding, and the staff was amazing. The area was well decorated and taken care of. Absolutely beautiful
We had my son’s wedding this WE and the experience was amazing. We booked the date a year ago as we fall in love with the place in our first visit. Afterwards, I started having doubts because of some reviews especially about the food. But the experience was worth every penny.
+ first contact: Loyola was very friendly and showed us the place with patience and answered our questions or asked to come back with the answer.
+ pre-wedding meeting: very smooth and very efficient.
+ tasting expertise: a must as the taste differ from culture to culture. It’s worth the money you pay.
+ place: we got the hall communicating with the patio; the room looked amazing. We invested only in flowers and we went very simple and budget friendly.
+food: very tasty, we went with steak for everyone; didn’t want the headache of giving out guest to choose; we went to the food tasting ( I would highly recommend). We were five people to taste and we couldn’t agree on the chicken. We loved the pasta but, in our culture, it will be an insult to serve pasta for a wedding. Our friends were so happy that for the first time they got a hot steak in a wedding oh 140 people.
+service: very friendly server, very efficient. We were setting the sweet table and forgot to bring some napkins. Without even asking, a server came with and helped set the sweet table.
We had Alex ( he didn’t ask for a review) maître and he was amazing, easy going, very helpful. Again, the bride and groom decided last minute to put the berries themselves during the ceremony on the cake but we hadn’t a nice bowl, Alex run to bring it.
+acces to the hotel. My son and his wife booked a room there a it was very helpful.

What we didn’t like:
- response time: according to my son, the had to wait a bit for emails to be responded to ( I would take this with precaution)
- we were charged an extra 13$ per person because we asked for Halal meat, I understand that the supplied might have to go out his way for halal meat but this is Toronto !!! There Halal meat in every corner.

It would be nice to have an installed sound system.

Thanks everyone for making this experience memorable.
N.B. If you were wondering about the price, the bill was around 20k for 134 person.

I'll preface my review by saying we were tourists from out of town. The exhibit was eye-catching and definitely makes for good photos. However, it wasn't what we were expecting going in. From the name, we thought there would be multiple art installations made out of actual Lite-Brites. In reality, everything is done via projections, and you stay in a single room the entire time. I enjoyed the experience well enough, but wouldn't come back. This is probably geared towards a much younger audience. There were lots of little kids running around. The music was almost too loud, but it served to cover up the sound of those kids screaming.
We went for a wedding in one of the complexes. The room for the appetizers and drinks was small. The main hall was great for the number of people that came. We think there is so much wasted space in the complex that it could have been a better distribution. The staff was courteous and kind. The bartenders were also quick and fun to deal with. We had a good experience. Love the little outside area with the fountain and the garden.
Liberty Grand is just like the pictures posted. It's beautiful and has a gorgeous terrace. Truly one of the more elegant venues I have seen I a while.
We had our wedding best and memorable at Old Mill,in April , 2024. We had an amazing time and great experience from the catering team. The stuff were very helpful and accommodating. The food was delicious, our quest cant stop expressing the taste of well cooked the food was. Their Accounting refund me as some of my guest didn't show up , plus for other services that was not used. I really appreciate them all for being so genuine for handling every little details professionally.I will recomend 💯..!!!
We have seen amazing visuals and a thorough entertaining spot at the Illuminarium. Visited the amazing space exhibit which is great for everyone especially kids! The soul expansion is something that is amazing for improving self awareness and have a holistic approach! Illuminarium is truly magical.

Lovely old venue with real character. Great spot for the FITC conference, though it’s starting to get snug. I hope they can handle larger numbers in future years.
Overall, the food was good with the exception that the tomahawk had some parts that were not soft and it was really hard to chew them. If you love desserts like me order the mountain chocolate cake 100% worth it. I consider the service needs to improve in terms of friendliness.
I visited Old Mill Toronto Event Venue on a hot day and politely requested a cup of water, offering to pay for it. To my dismay, I was refused service. It’s hard to believe that a basic courtesy like providing water to a thirsty person would be denied. This experience was very disappointing and something potential visitors might want to consider.

To the staff: you guys should be ashamed.

Burger juicy and good. Don’t add any extra topping, you’ll break your jaw.
That said, they should add a little more sauce.

My partner asked for hard fried eggs, both side, no runny yolk, but they brought runny yolk and had to re-do it. They did that fast, but still.

By the way, this place is very busy and loud, so keep that in mind before coming here.

My daughter and I had a fabulous brunch at Old School today. Due to an intolerance, I asked for the poached egg to be subbed out for smoked salmon on the avocado toast. The chef made it like it was one of their signature dishes. So fresh and delicious. My daughter said Benny & the Jets was cooked to perfection; very flavourful. The service was exceptional too!
Fantasy farm was such a pleasure to visit and to work.
I had a please to take a picture of the wedding there
And the personal were very sweet and attentive to everyone.
The location it self makes you feel the nature even tho you are in the city.
My place to go for sure.

I attended the Candidates' tournament at the Great Hall in Toronto's Queen Street. The venue seemed unusual for a chess tournament, resembling a dimly lit bar with cramped spaces and subpar acoustics. To watch the games, we were taken to a separate chamber above the players, where the boards were barely visible, and following the games on screens was a challenge. The venue's outdated and unappealing atmosphere left me questioning why FIDE had selected it for such an important event. In my opinion, this venue was far from ideal for hosting chess tournaments, lacking the modern and aesthetically pleasing settings often seen at such competitions worldwide. I would not recommend this location for future events.

Excellent service, ambience and quality of food! Our server seemed very passionate and knowledeable. There were endless wine selections. Steak was cut very thick and juicy. Highly recommend!😆
I've photographed several weddings in this beautiful space and I always love coming back! So much character and charm in the main hall. The light in the Drawing Room and the Conversation Room is beautiful for ceremonies & cocktail hour. Lovely staff too!
We had an amazing experience hosting our wedding at Fantasy Farm. From the first time we reached out, Gus was very responsive and helpful, and we felt confident that our wedding would be in good hands. They promised that what we were quoted was what we would pay and they stuck to that. On the day of the wedding, Gus, Jeremy, and the team made the day flow seamlessly and we even had guests commenting on how great the service was. We felt that they really went above and beyond. The food was delicious and plentiful and they had no issues working with allergies/restrictions. The grounds were lovely even in the winter and the ballroom was spacious. We have no regrets about choosing Fantasy Farm and we will definitely recommend this venue in the future.
We had our winter wedding at Liberty Grand in the Artifacts Room. We loved the contemporary room from the moment we did our first site visit, and the venue location is easy to get to for our guests traveling from outside of the city.

My husband and I are huge food lovers. Since we haven't gone to a wedding at Liberty Grand in a long time and there are not a lot of reviews about (or photos of) catering at the venue, we were worried that the food wasn't going to meet our expectations. We were very pleasantly surprised when we went to our tasting that everything we tried was so delicious that we had a hard time deciding on what to serve. We ended up going with the mushroom truffle foam soup, braised beef short rib, miso ginger glazed cod, potato truffle pave (soooo good), and apple crumble with ice cream. Our guests raved about the food...and the cocktails (and bartenders)!

We had both our ceremony and our reception at the venue, and the room flip was executed perfectly during the cocktail reception. My coordinator worked closely with me to ensure the room flow was exactly how I wanted (it was important to me that the bar and the dance floor were right next to each other).

The staff, from security guard to manager, were all so hospitable. Extra special mentions to Olga (catering manager) and Jessica (our coordinator) who went out of their way to make sure our wedding went smoothly and that we had everything we needed...we can't thank you enough!! We're so glad we chose such a special Toronto landmark for our special day.

I always wanted to try this restaurant.

I was happy I stopped by this morning for a quick bite to eat. It's by reservation but since it was just myself I was able to get a table quickly! Bonus!!

The amount of food is decent. The waitress was extremely friendly. And she sold me on the brownie .. it was the best brownie I ever had. I did get the beef sandwich to go. 😆 🤣 it was not for me! My husband did enjoy every bite of that sandwich.

I would go again!!

Phenomenal food and great atmosphere. I believe our group was taken a little less seriously being in our early 20’s and dressed less elegantly for the night (even though our order was over $1,000). Still a good experience overall.

Cute little brunch spot with beautifully plated food and drinks! About 20-30$ per person for food, more with drinks. Decent size portions for food, service is very kind and accommodating. It does get busy though, so keep that in mind when coming in for lunch hours.
Overall a pleasant experience!
I went to Harbor 60 a number of years ago for a Christmas party with work and we had a really good time. The atmosphere was really nice and we were in the private room and the food was excellent.
I went back very recently just to share a dessert and a drink with a coworker. The dessert shown on the picture is the Baked Alaska For Two, which was delicious although super sweet. The flambe of the dessert which gives this darker color to the meringue was quite the show and really gave it a nice little touch. That was a $26 dessert, which for two is actually reasonable.

Now here's the reason why I'm not giving a five-star across the board for my experience. I had ordered a beer as I am a beer drinker myself. I ordered a Guinness which was your regular tall can, since they don't serve beer on tap. That regular can was $12 (gasp). The waitress brought the can and a cone shaped type of glass as shown in the picture, which I pointed out as not being the right type of glass for that beer. Now this might sound a little snobby but when you come to such an upscale place where the New York strip steak is at $102, you would expect the beer to be served in the proper type of glass (at least that was *my* expectation and I think that's reasonable). That's the reason why service only gets four stars out of five, even though our waitress was really helpful. To management: please get proper beer glasses, that would really help with the fact that you only serve beers in cans...

A great experience nonetheless I would recommend you try it out but do keep in mind that it will definitely be on the higher end of your budget.

Note: when I checked the website, a background upbeat music loaded right away and I was unable to turn it off except by closing the browser window... beware if you browse at work! :)
TLDR; It was a very underwhelming experience, and definitely not worth $50.

The place is basically a repurposed warehouse with some fancy(ish) projectors and speakers. As you enter, you’ll immediately get the feeling you’re in an unfinished building and you’ll start to regret it right away.

The first 10-min intro was decent, but it was all downhill from there. It’s basically a show on a loop and they let hordes of people in every 15 mins or so. It starts with images about constellations — mixed with astrological messages, mind you. Then, some images of planets depicted with a lot of artistic liberties. So, you don’t know if it’s an actual image from a satellite or some artist’s dreamt up version they wanted to sell as a wallpaper.

Visuals and information keep coming up on multiple screens and you won’t know where you should be standing to take all that in. There’s no sequence as such indicated by them. If that’s not frustrating enough, these visuals are punctuated by trippy, hypnotic music and imagery. Most of the time there’s too much information scattered all around and there’s no time to soak it in. It’s all unguided after the first 10 mins, so it’s mostly find your own adventure.

The worst part of all is that they let far too many people in at once. The whole place was super noisy — chatter from people, kids playing, instagram influencers posing? (Or whatever that was). I could have sworn there were at least 150 people at one point in that small space.

To rub salt on the wound, tickets were $50 each!! I definitely do not recommend this place. You’re better off doing something else with that $50.
My wife and I had our wedding reception at the Old Mill on Saturday, February 24th, 2024. Our initial visit and consultation was with Lotoya, who did a great job in taking us around to the different rooms and the venue. We initially booked the Victoria and Garret rooms, but as our guest list grew from 40 to over 50, we were shown larger rooms by Rebecca who took over our event. We ended up in the Westminster room, which was much more appropriate for our numbers.

We chose the Old Mill because of its reputation for events, and for the beautiful interior and exterior of the building. Also, the space is primarily an event space, away from other busy neighbourhoods. The location is also a big reason we choose the venue. I have friends who live in Mississauga and friends who live in Toronto, so it was in the middle. I also like that it’s right at Old Mill station on the TTC line, as many downtown guests could take advantage of this.

The planning and communication with Rebecca was very professional. She always responded to us in a timely fashion, and addressed all of our questions and concerns thoroughly.

The night of the event was close to perfect. I want to shout out to Dimitri, our banquet captain. He was very attentive, and always present. The bartender (we went with a host paid bar) Robert was also a superstar. He was very personable to us and all of our guests, extremely attentive, professional, and a great bartender overall. The wait staff was also extremely professional, personable, and the dinner service was flawless. The food was of high quality and very generous portions (we went with guests choosing their own entrees beforehand, so we chose their beef, chicken, veggie, or fish entrees). The OMT cake was very well made and beautiful. It was also very competitive in pricing to other bakeries nearby, so I don’t feel there is any need to go elsewhere since they make the cake on premises - one more thing to not worry about delivery-wise. The late night pizza we ordered was also very high quality, and our guests ate it all.

The only glitch I’ll point out is that the Westminster’s house lights flickered once they were set to below half of full brightness. This made it impossible to turn the lights down enough to be inviting. We had to keep them bright to avoid the flickering. Dimitri noted that usually they are turned down during the cocktail hour to be more inviting, and when the table candles are lit. This was not possible without a very annoying flickering of the lights. In the end, it was not a huge problem, but would have been nice to have them lowered. During the dancing part, they were turned all the way down, and our DJ’s excellent lighting took over.

All things considered, I’d say the event was very well priced for what we got. We splurged for the host-paid bar, served dinner, each guest chose their own entree, host-paid coat check, and host-paid parking passes. The host-paid bar is paid up front by averaging the number of drinks per guest (I think it was seven drinks), and then adjusted after the event for actual consumption. Since many of our guests don’t drink, we got a pleasant surprise after the event in the form of a refund.

I would absolutely recommend the Old Mill as a venue for a wedding or similar evening event.
Loved the overall experience but not worth the price, maybe 20-25$ would have been a great pricing but it is a good one time experience. They have a 10 min Pre show where they introduce you to the main experience and you go to the next room for the main experience. Staff is friendly. The room is not that big and you can still see the rooftop. It can be enjoyed by all the age groups.

Sunday date night was lovely! The food was great — no complaints there. The wagyu carpaccio was favourite of the night and 1000/10 would order again. The rib eye was perfectly cooked but the truffle butter just wasn’t truffling. The lobster mac and cheese and mashed potatoes were wonderful and the portions were great! Complimentary valet parking and cost check were a plus.

The service was good but not absolutely amazing. The hostesses could be friendlier and less cold/uninterested but I’ve noticed this is a trend across most Toronto restaurants within this price range. We have had better service at STK, Blue Blood and Akira Back.

Overall, would come here again for the food but not until we try other restaurants in Toronto first.
What a fantastic show! My mouth was open the whole time. I wanted to be everywhere at once so I didn’t miss anything. The music was excellent, song choices on point. The imagery was incredible, the stars and planets were my favourite, I could have stared at Jupiter all night. It was the fastest 45 minutes ever. Well done!

Stopped by on a Thursday morning with some friends who were visiting from out of province. We were one of the first customers, and we were served quickly, given recommendations and food came out quickly and was absolutely delicious. I had one of the best London Fogs I've had in a while. Will definitely come again.
Too many people smoking inside, vaping and a bit out of control. No security to be found. I have asthma and I can’t handle the smoke. We left early right after midnight.
We tried to have a great time but to many guys trying to push us though the crowds. Honestly skip this place if you can, managements is horrible. I witness a couple got there stuff stolen. We waited for 30 min to get our drinks, not enough worker. The only thing that was smooth is the coat check because they put more employees working there.
I recently had the delightful opportunity to photograph a wedding at the Liberty Grand in Toronto, and it was an experience I won't soon forget. As a wedding photographer, I've seen quite a few venues, but the Liberty Grand is something special. Here's why:

The natural light in Liberty Grand is a photographer's dream. It floods the space, giving your wedding photos a vibrant, lively feel that's so essential in capturing the spirit of your big day. And the interiors? Timelessly elegant, they'll make every shot look like it's been lifted from the pages of a high-end bridal magazine.

What really took my breath away, though, was the outdoor space. The blend of urban and natural beauty in the gardens provides an incredible backdrop for those romantic, intimate shots. And in the evening, the lighting transforms the place into a magical, almost ethereal setting. It's like something out of a fairytale.

A little tip for brides considering this venue: take advantage of the Liberty Grand's grand staircase for a unique bridal entrance. It's not just a stunning architectural feature but makes for an unforgettable moment both in real life and in your photos. Imagine descending this staircase, your guests turning to gaze, the light catching your dress - it's a photographer's and a bride's dream!

Hope this helps!

Great food and great service. Free coat check and valet service was nice addition.

Food pricing is a bit steep but it is a high end Toronto restaurant so I get it. Cocktail pricing is absolutely criminal with no cocktail cheaper than $30.

Good atmosphere but music a touch loud to have a conversation with your party but didnt take away from the evening

I have been before and Ill be back.

I recently visited this well-known restaurant, excited to try their famous brunch, especially the pancakes and chicken and waffles that everyone raves about. The service was alright, but honestly, the food didn’t live up to the hype. The chicken was dry and the waffles were disappointingly mushy. The pancakes were just okay, nothing special. Maybe it was just an off day, but I was a bit let down considering all the great things I’d heard.

In a word: overrated. Went here to celebrate a family members birthday and ordered steak, fries, and lobster mac and cheese as the mains. The steak was extremely dry and the lobster was too fishy, but the fries had a nice crisp. The only redeeming factor of this restaurant is their desserts, which stun both in appearance and in taste. The build-your-own-s’mores kit was fun to use and tasted incredible, and the lava cake was the perfect temperature on the inside to mix well with the ice cream.

Bravo! This was so fabulous! Wonderfully put together . Loved the digital and light effects. A great place to add to your Christmas market experience. Can’t express how much we enjoyed this experience. It is 40 minutes before it repeats. Be sure to sit and enjoy it all.
Disappointing experience. I was a bridesmaid at my cousin's wedding here and it was chaos from the beginning. Unhelpful staff. Only 2/6 appetizers that were paid for came out, closed the bar earlier than told, ran out of food, and our wedding coordinator was not accessible (maybe due to many weddings poorly scheduled for the same day). The bride deserved the day of her dreams and unfortunately, due to the venue's complete lack of consideration and care, made it a terrible day for her instead (as I saw first-hand). Invest your time, money, and find peace of mind somewhere else.

I visited there for Christmas Market!🎄
The Great Hall has such beautiful decorations and full of joys! 🎶
There were all kinds of small seasonal vendors, and the neighborhood and visitors walked in to shop for gifts!🛍️🎁
We were married in the fall of 2023 at Fantasy Farms, Toronto and it was an absolutely perfect day.
Gus & Jeremy were outstanding from initial contact all the way through our interactions and we cannot recommend this venue enough. The food was amazing, the pricing was competitive and the level of service from the team at Fantasy Farms was above and beyond.
Truly a gorgeous venue, you won't be disappointed.
Great atmosphere/venue , excellent services, yummy food choices and truly lovely grounds by the Lake. Getting there by GO transit was a cinch! Exit at Exhibition Station and walked West along well lit sidewalks! We even saw a police person on a horse patrol! Never felt safer in the evening…. The wait staff do their best to accommodate special requests. Only wish they were informed about the white and red wines we were being offered! Thanks and big shout out to Prashant Issar, FA for inviting us. You are taking care of business! It was great to meet fellow neighbourhood folks. Plus to hear some informative, illustrative financial stories and practical strategies from Calgary’s GAM lively presenter Rick…cheers and all the best to you and your families over the holidays.

First time coming here to watch Tyler Shaw! Intimate and nice venue, although they didn’t let people in until 8pm (concert was advertised to start at 7pm). This angle was taken from the balcony view.
As a wedding photographer, I love the Old Mill. It has so much character and it's a one stop shop. The hotel rooms, ceremony spots, property and reception spaces are beautiful. It saves so much time and reduces stress when you don't have to travel to another location for your wedding photos. It really feels like you've travelled back in time and to another place. Super romantic! I've had good experiences with the staff. I definitely recommend this venue! Especially spring - fall as the gardens are look so good for photography!
Old Mill was a great venue for wedding. We celebrated our wedding here and the staff are all amazing from the consultation until to our wedding day Rebecca the Assistant Director of Catering was very helpful and accommodating to our needs. The minister who conducted our wedding ceremony assist and guide us of what will happen to our wedding. Our Supervising Captain Alex was amazing and the rest of the staff who served and prepared the foods and the venue on our wedding day was all outstanding. We are so grateful to Rebecca and the rest of Old Mill team for accommodating our needs and for your hospitality. Thank you so much Old Mill Staff for your wonderful service.

I recently celebrated my birthday brunch at Old School, and it was a delightful experience. The ambience, both indoor and outdoor seating, was charming. Outdoor diners are provided blankets for added coziness, which was a thoughtful touch. The food was exceptional; the breakfast sandwich stole the show with perfectly cooked eggs, avocado, and layers of flavor. The hot chocolate was the best I’ve had so far. The chicken and waffles were decent, with the chicken being perfectly cooked, contributing to an overall enjoyable dining experience. Our server, Isaiah, deserves a shoutout for his attentive service. They even have a merch shop with in-house-made habanero sauce. I couldn’t help but notice the tempting blueberry pancakes on another table, although we were already full. I will definitely try them next time. The total cost was around $50 including tax, felt reasonable for such a wonderful culinary and atmospheric treat.

I had my wedding reception at the loft and it was amazing! Everyone loved the food, and the venue itself was so pretty it barely needed decoration! Melissa was my coordinator, she answered all of my questions leading up to my event and was such a great help the day of. We got the nicest photos in the distiller district before the event! Highly recommend :)
We had the most exceptional wedding thanks to Liberty Grand in the Artifacts Room. Their team worked with us closely for a year prior and all our correspondences were professional and timely. All our guests raved about the food and the smoothness of the day. Every staff member we we encountered were so lovely and worked tireless to make our day perfect. Our coordinator Jessica Rio was 10/10. It was worth the price tag for this venue and we are so happy we chose it.

Both steak and fish came with generous portion and the food was good. Steak tasted rich but was a bit below my expectations given the restaurant’s reputation and its price. Seafood was good. Mushroom had too much wine cooked into the taste so that it’s a bit too much. They don’t have Margarita in menu but they made one for me which was really nice.
I liked the place, I was in the mezzanine and unless you are in the front seats at the floor I suggest to choose the mezzanine since you can see everything better from a better angle. The main floor has the same level so you could get distracted with the other heads in front of you. Was clean, beautiful inside, you can get there easy in street car or public transportation and I liked the show.
Quiet point on the island with good views of Lake Ontario. There is a small rock groyne that you can climb out on to. Not much to do here, but it's a quiet place to relax. The nearby Gibraltar Beach is secluded with nice sand.

I went to The Great Hall to see and hear the great Sun Ra Arkestra last week. It was my first time since the building was fully restored to its present glory. The experience was exceptional as the hall’s sound system was beautifully balanced and clear. It’s a hall suited to many types of concerts. The floor has a nice bounce. So I’d imagine it gives you a lift when dancing. More seating might be a good idea for certain concerts; only had a few stackable chairs available. Maybe wheelchair accessibility should be thought about. The hall is on the second floor.
I feel lucky to have been a photographer for a handful of weddings here, including in September of last year.

Right off the top - this venue is stunning! Family, wedding party and couples' photos get the choice of nature or historic wood and stone architecture as the backdrop. The historic theme is also seen inside through the many halls to host your wedding or event, including one with a massive patio that backs onto the courtyard (my favourite spot)!

Not only that, but the food their catering department serve is 2nd to none. Big portions and cooked just right. What else is there to say about food?

Last but not least, the staff at Old Mill have always been so easy to work with and my clients continue to say the same. If you're considering this venue as your spot for your wedding or event - take this as the last push you need to move forward. You won't regret it!

One of the most beautiful buildings I've ever photographed! I love this place and it makes for an incredible Wedding venue. Lots of character, incredible light, and the staff are always lovely to work with. Looking forward to shooting more weddings here this season!

I never leave reviews but I just had my wedding here and the staff was excellent. They were all so nice and supportive. One of the bartenders even danced with my dad, which was special memorable moment. Thank you to everyone working that day, you all did an excellent job and really made it a great night.

I hosted my wedding at The Loft earlier this month. It was amazing! The food was delicious, the ceremony and table setup was beautiful, and the staff were so friendly and accommodating. A big thank you to my coordinator Rachael who was helpful and quick to respond during the planning process. I would highly recommend this venue.
Fantasy Farm is a hidden gem in the heart of the Don Valley. The venue is absolutely breathtaking and a stunning location for a wedding. There are lush green spaces, and a beautiful cottage and ballroom depending on the size of your guest list.

We had our wedding at Fantasy Farm at the end of August 2022, and my experience with them from start to finish was excellent! Gus and Jeremy were so professional, and great to work with. Gus was very responsive and answered the numerous questions I had very promptly.

Rain was predicted on our wedding day, and Gus/Jeremy were tracking the weather throughout the afternoon and evening for us. They even set up an indoor ceremony location in case our outdoor ceremony had to be cancelled last minute due to inclement weather. In addition, we had chosen the BBQ option for dinner, and the main course was to be served outside - they had a backup option for this as well to serve the mains inside in case of bad weather. Furthermore, as we were busy with the photographers during the cocktail hour, the team at Fantasy Farm saved us some hors d'oeuvres and brought it out to the garden for us. That was so incredibly sweet! They really took care of us and made sure we enjoyed our day. The food was delicious as well!

I just wanted to say THANK YOU to the team at Fantasy Farm for making our wedding day so special! They are fantastic, and I would highly recommend them. If you are looking for a wedding venue, look no further! They are the best!

Fantasy Farm helped us achieve our dream wedding last month!

My wife and I first met Jeremy and Gus in Aug 2019 with the intention of having our wedding in October 2020. Due to circumstances, we had to postpone our wedding a few times.

When the pandemic hit, it turned all of our plans upside down. Jeremy and Gus stuck with us and gave us lots of advice when it came to wedding planning (we never hired a planner).

They've been helpful throughout the whole wedding process. We even had some last minute things that occurred during the wedding day that they took care of.

The location itself is a gem. You would never think you're in the metropolitan area with the surrounding forest. We had guests from the States that completely forgot they were in the GTA.

We opted for a ceremony in the front willow tree and reception in Cinderella's Cottage. The cottage room was a great choice for the amount of guests we had (approx. 70). It also gave us patio access for guests to relax outside if they needed some fresh air.

The food itself was terrific. Everyone enjoyed the three course meal and hor d'oeuvres we served them. Bonus shout-out to whomever cooked my steak because that was perfection.

Overall, we had an awesome time working with these guys. If we had to plan another wedding, we would choose to go with Fantasy Farm for our venue of choice. The level of service we received was phenomenal.

Lived here for a month my wife's artistic residency. This will remain as one of the memorable experience of our life. It's heart of island culture, stories of struggle and overcoming obstacles to retain its unique heritage. This is also first in Canada we felt there us community and people knows us on every corners and street. It was not typical romantic utopia people normally assume. It was real community feeling. And staffs here most frirndliest people in Toronto.
Fantasy Farm is an absolute hidden gem of a venue located in the heart of the Don Valley in Toronto. We recently had our wedding there and could not have asked for a more perfect day. The grounds are absolutely spectacular and really make you forget that you are still in the city. We were fortunate enough to have an outdoor garden ceremony that was everything we could have hoped for. Every single one of our guests commented on how beautiful the venue was and how incredible the food was.

Jeremy and Gus were absolute champions for us and helped throughout the entire process. We, like many other couples currently, were faced with many COVID related delays over our engagement having originally booked the venue for 2020. Jeremy and Gus stuck with us throughout every delay and were always available to give honest and informative answers to any questions we had. We can't imagine how difficult navigating the last few years as an events business must have been, but we always felt taken care of. We can safely say this day would not have been nearly the same without their support and we will be forever grateful.

Fantasy Farm is a beautiful space that everyone should be aware of, we could not have enjoyed our experience more and we will be recommending it to everyone we can.
Its great to know a private farm/venue can not only survive n bounce back after the last year n half of uncertainties n hard times thru the pandemic, but still offers the grand finess of alacrity in hospitality product n service
On tot of that. The place is an unbelievable oasis in the middle of bustling coty. The grounds and buildings are magnificent
and so are the staff

It was very cool checking out Toronto’s oldest light house. I’ve been everywhere in this city and didn’t know this existed until I went to the Toronto island. You cannot go inside (as far as I know) but definitely cool to look at and read about. It’s a nice little historical attraction on the Toronto island for those who are interested in some Canadian history.

I cannot speak higher of the Loft.

First, and most importantly, the main thing we wanted was delicious food for our wedding. The Loft delivered and then some. Everyone was raving about the food. We did the southern BBQ buffet style and it was perfect. No let down of a dish. I had to request to shake the chef's hand after our event it was so good.

Rebecca, our point of contact leading up to the event, was extremely responsive via email. She worked with my wife to ensure we were all setup, including accommodating every one of our tiny requests.

Apologies in advance because day of, we were assisted mainly by two individuals who have names that I am sure are often misspelled, but Steven (?) and Katelynn(?) seemed like they popped up exactly when we needed them with a smile to assist. We left our card box at home, they were able to provide one upon request. They made sure that my wife and I were fed and watered as well, which I was told by many married people before me is sometimes difficult to guarantee on your big day with all of your hosting obligations. They were pros and it showed.

The venue itself was breathtaking. Everything was taken care of in terms of big things for décor by Distillery Events. Because all of the décor was handled, including table runners and beautiful chairs, we could focus on the little things that gave the event a personal touch. We just handled the cake, a donut wall, our centrepieces, and name cards. Distillery Events has a list of recommended vendors, but we were allowed to bring in whoever we wanted to work with.

The hanging lights and exposed brick give a beautifully rustic feel. Our guests used words like "magic" and "fairy tale" to describe the atmosphere.

We thought it was perfect and exactly what we wanted. THANK YOU to everyone at Distillery Events for making the process so stress free so that we could enjoy one of the biggest celebrations of our lives.

A very beautiful spot for the wedding. F&B minimums are great, food was very good. The backdrop is as well perfect (if you are ok spending the extra $500, which luckily we got for free). The mulled wine in winter was amazing. Only gripe is loading in and out is tough, and it's not wheel chair accessible.

The island is amazing. This unique space is for artists to get their creative on in a natural environment. It's busy depending on the season, summer can be packed with people, but they tend to spend most of the time in the centre island and don't travel around much. The whole island experience, going slowly and taking in places like this one, will take about a day.
My wife and I just got married at Fantasy Farm and we couldn't imagine it going better. It's a perfect venue to have an all in one outdoor ceremony plus reception. Beautiful grounds, fantastic food and great staff. Gus and Larry really made all the difference. Gus provides excellent advice leading up to the event and Larry made the night of run smoothly. The only issue we had all night was that it took much longer than expected to serve all dinner courses. Dinner finished about an hour later than we had planned. However most of our guests were so impressed they didn't mind the wait.

Attended a wedding here recently and everything was lovely. The staff was attentive and courteous, the food was delicious, and the drinks were generous. Only thing that would have minimized a bit of uncertainty would be signs posted (or more clearly posted if there were and I just couldn’t see them) for where the restrooms are.

A good space for improv theater.
Came here a couple years back for a wedding and fell in love with the whole venue. The staff was amazing and had everything on point. Super friendly and made everything just perfect. It's like the perfect hideaway in the middle of the city. Hope i don't need a wedding to come back to this tranquil setting. Thanks for eveything, you made it the perfect night not only for the lucky couple but everyone involved and invited

Wonderful retreat from the city that offers residencies at affordable prices for working and emerging artists . Right near the beach, feels like you aren't anywhere near the city. Ghostly quiet in the winter.
