Beautiful palace. However, you need to really get there in the first half of the day so you can experience the whole palace we went at about 3:00 p.m. awaited in line for about 40 minutes and when we got to the check-in desk they told us that they don't have tickets for the full Palace as they are closing at around 5:00 p.m. so we're only able to buy tickets for whatever they thought would be enough time for us to visit. There are also audio guides in several languages which you can take and start the tour on your own since they are allowing only a certain amount of people to enter at once. It is really not getting crowded inside. So you can really take your pictures and selfies without many people in the background. I do recommend however planning an earlier visit on the day. Also keep in mind that there are no online tickets so you have to go there to check whether they are open.
Beautiful place, there is so much to see. Recommended visit time to Residenz + Palace is 2 hours I think but if you want to listen to every point from audio guide, included in the price of ticket with different languages, it can take even more time but visit is toootally worth it. During winter time there is also super charming Christmas Market outside.

Beautiful palace to understand how Bavarian Royal Families lived. The building itself is beautifully decorated, and there is still a complete collection of furniture and accessories of the different rooms. Worth to spend 2-3 hours inside. Visitors get free audio guides, but there is also information in English.
So stunning, it's beyond word! Free entry, so don't ever miss it! You can spend a lot of time marveling at the exquisite architecture and ornaments, it's excessive in a beautiful way.
Amazing place if you are here to learn. The museum has almost everything science and technology from robotics to encryption and everything in between! You can spend weeks and months here without getting bored!
There are also live demonstrations every hour during weekend (only in German though)!

We visited at the end our day and we're exhausted, so we raced through the full tour in a little over an hour, but expect to spend 2-3 hours in just the museum to really appreciate everything and listen to the audio tour.

Incredible museum, only 9 euros for the basic tour with free audio guide. It took me about two hours.
The residence is huge with many different chambers and apartments and several breathtaking rooms. It is 100% worth a visit. There is also a Christmas market happening inside one of the courtyards.

It’s quite a big museum with lots of topics covered. Do cater half a day to explore the different topics fully. It is also Better to buy the tickets online before entering.
Beautiful stadium inside and out. The seats start only a few meters from the pitch so you're very close to the pitch and players. Given it's steep incline the stadium feels tight, albeit 75k seats, which creates an incredible atmosphere.

The park is absolutely breathtaking. It might be a bit out of the city but is definitely worth a visit. We only went for the views but there is so much more to keep you busy at the park which is also located next to BMW World.

Explored the Residenz in Munich and was truly impressed. The opulence and historical significance are awe-inspiring. The architecture is magnificent, and each room tells a captivating story. Navigating through the grand halls and chambers provides a glimpse into Bavaria's rich past. A must-visit for history and architecture enthusiasts in Munich!
Beautiful stadium with modern structure. Toilet may be too small for amount of people and the volume of beer sold there.. during interval basically the queue is impressive long.. but anyway is a nice place to have fun!

There you find 3 major must to visit places: the palace museum with its garden, the church and the other statues. Museum takes really must time like over 5 hours with a walk in garden if you are really into reading about history, museum provides stories with a wide perspective. Church is beautiful, one of must visit and pray churches.

Went for the stadium tour and museum and loved it!
The museum is great for lovers of football, history of both! Lots of interesting stories and items, well worth an hour or two.
The English speaking guide was great. Very knowledgeable about FC Bayern and clearly had passion for the club.

Beautiful park! The area is huge, a lot of greens, a lot of benches for sitting and enjoying! Recommend for visiting! I heard it’s especially nice to be there during sunset 🌅
A very large and interesting museum. A must visit, just keep in mind: you will be stuck here for several hours. You need to be well trained to walk up and down stairs, back and forth.
This place is huge. It was unclear where the entrance is. Exhibits got a bit repetitive towards the end. I appreciate them putting seats throughout the palace for people to rest. The theater is beautiful. Tickets are included for 14-day pass holders.

It's small but well maintained, very informative, and interesting. It's a bit cramped if you're going in with a group. And if you're tall, there's lots of ducking. But still a good way to 4€ and 45 minutes.
Holy place of German football history. Just visit. For guide tour, have to book a month before visiting. From 10:15, English and German tours for one and half hour start.

This museum was really interesting! It had quite a bit more information and artifacts than I expected. It's a bit confusing on what to do to enter, as we paid for tickets twice at the machine by accident. When you successfully pay, nothing happens... So be careful! The staff were helpful and nice
Beautiful park it’s a must see if you are visiting nearby. The stadium itself is historic and very well kept. Do an afternoon sight seeing the park as well, a real gem in the heart of the city.
A must visit if you are visiting Munich. Will advise to buy tickets in advance if you want to see full Arena in tour. Very amazingly made. All facilities are worth seeing. We missed seeing the night when the Arena gets lit up but still we enjoyed seeing it. A must must visit for sure.
Stopped through during my trip to Oktoberfest and this place was bigger and better than I expected! We visited during the week and got our tickets at the counter. There is a lot of history, art, and architecture to admire while in here. I recommend stopping in to explore the grounds and admire the history and architecture.
Amazing palace!! One of the best I've seen. The staff are very friendly and the tour and audio guide are amazing. The only reason I'm giving it a 4 and not 5 star is because the tour is very very long and for a self guided tour it could get quite boring. Also a lot of the audio guide videos did not have much information about certain paintings but still took a while to listen to so it took up time. I'd say it takes minimum 3 hours to get through this palace and there's no cafe for food.

This is a small church. When I was there, outer reconstruction was going on. But I went inside the church and I was just shocked after seeing the wall art, amazing gothic church it was. The interior is very beautiful with some amazing wall arts. But you can't enter and seat inside, that's a drawback. But you can take photos and videos from in front of the gate. Overall a very good architecture it is.
This is one of the most ornately detailed church interiors I've visited. Thankfully it's free to enter. There is construction on the outside as of October 2023 so it may appear closed but it's not. No food or drink is allowed inside and photos are only for personal use. You really can't go anywhere inside the church besides the pews.
Love this striking yellow building. I was much impressed by the white marble work all over inside the building with very detailed work. There is a funny story that it was built for a kings son and they have a statue of the child, although the child looks more like penny wise the clown.
Dont miss this experience especially during Oktoberfest. the origins of Beer making in the bavarian Brewery with a lot of Historical facts divided in 3 floors and the ground floor is for tasting the different type of Beers. entrance is 4€/adult and the roundgang is easy to follow. duration 1 hr.
What a beautiful park. There is a ton to do in the park and so much to see. I would recommend making this a stop on your visit and taking the time to explore each inch. I would also recommend doing it via a scooter. You can see a ton very quickly. This could also be a nice space for a picnic in the afternoon. They also do a great job in the memorial of those killed during the Munich games. A great place to spend some time!

With its yellow facade and ornate interior, the Theatinerkirche (Theatine Church) at Odeonsplatz is one of the most beautiful churches in Munich.
In 1663, the Italian Agostino Barelli began building the court and monastery church of St. Kajetan in the Baroque style. It was consecrated in 1675 while still in its shell state. It was not until over 100 years later that Cuvilliés the Younger completed the facade in 1768 in the Rococo style.

Nice place to walk around and see some historic sights. The churches were beautiful.
One of the must-visit places in Munich, the church is holy, magnificent and artistic. The palace is like less than 10 min walk away from here.
Although it is a small church, its inner decoration is really magnificent and gorgeous, if you are near Maria’s plaza, it is absolutely worth visiting this place, only 7 min walk. There are renovations going on outside the church, don’t get missing.

Beautiful Catholic church in Baroque style. Located right in the city center, definitely worth a visit.
Wonderful atmosphere in the park. Large, sprawled & very clean with vast stretches of green all around with water bodies. Ideal for spending a sunny summer day walking or cycling. Lots of benches thrown in for resting as well. The ice hockey arena & the museum for marine lives is a must visit.
A very interesting branch of the deutsches Museum with all kind of cars (mostly if not exclusively German) and lots of information about internal combustion engines, steering systems and others, presented in an educationsl way. You can even see a Benz prototype of the first gasoline powered automobile (which I think used to be in the central museum in the past). Although a kid should in my opinion be at least 10 to grasp all the concept, the place was full of toddlers that made it a bit annoying. It seems many parents find it a convenient playground (there is even an indoor slide). Nevertheless it is a highly revommended visit for every Munich tourist. Most information is also in English.

A really great experience for all soccer lovers. We got a guided tour of the stadium that gives you access to places like players locker room, the court and the players bench.
The museum is rich with information and trophies (a lot of these!)

I had an amazing time just walking around the park and admiring the views and just vibing. When we arrived there, there was a carnival and really bright lights, big rides, carousels darts, games and an upside down ride, which was really fun. I went with my friends and really enjoyed it. At the end We had some delicious crêpe and some cold drinks to end the day. The walk around the park didn’t take long it took about 30 to 35 minutes to walk around the park and it was really relaxing and enjoyable but just keep in mind that there are people with bikes that like to ride fast so I suggest staying in one side so that you won’t get hit!

There are so many churches in Munich but this one has a long history. From the outside it looks ok but once you step in, you get to see the wonderful paintings and its amazing architecture. Even it’s not far away from Munich main Square.
An interesting, entertaining museum featuring many types of vehicles and their development. Hundreds of automobiles, trains, cable cars, bikes, motorcycles and trams from many eras are featured. I recommend it for the entire family.
Such a weird and cool little cathedral in Munich. Conceived and built by two brothers, Asamkirche is only 30 Meters wide but ridiculously ornate inside. It's not as widely known as some of the other cathedrals in Munich but it's definitely worth a stop.

Whether you are a beer lover or whether you just like history, the Beer and Oktoberfest is a neat place to visit in Munich. You learn about the extensive history of brewing in Munich, learn the story behind Oktoberfest, and see the oldest known beer recipe among other things. It is definitely worth your time (plus they have beer to drink there 😊).
Stunning church with white interior! Worth a visit if you're in the area.
Baroque and Rococo magnificence. This is the definition of this impressive church in Munich, near Sendlinger Tor. The frescoes on the ceiling will take your breath away, as will the fact that absolutely no space has been left unadorned, be it the frescoes themselves, paintings, columns, golden elements or marbles of different colors.
For tourist visits, it is not possible to fully access the church because there is a fence that prevents it, but from the entrance there is an entrance space that allows, as far as possible, to appreciate this jewel of religious art in this city.
It is free and open every day.

I spent 2,5 hrs in the museum and could add probably another 1.5 hrs easily.
This church is divine. It is well kept. I visited with my fiance and found it to be a place of quiet reflection. There was a caretaker that quietly kept order. You can take pictures no flash for personal use. A beautiful moment that happened while there was a live Bach musical performance.

Very cheap and fun way to spend an hour or so. It’s a small museum but a lot of interesting history. I got a souvenir coaster when I went. My only wish about this place would be to be able to sit down and have a beer. Looked like there was a bar but no server in sight.
Good overall, the stadium is a little lacking compared to others I've done. Be good if you're a die hard but think the museum is worth it. Very easy to get to and back into the city thanks you the great rail network of Munich
Quite possibly the most beautiful cathedral I have ever been to. The exterior is a kind of a dirty yellow but once you step inside it is just the most gorgeous cathedral I have ever been inside of. Everything is white marble with immaculate, insanely detailed sculptures and reliefs everywhere. The prayer alter is a site to behold! Everything is so stunningly created!

Strolled along the famous Ludwigstraße boulevard, Odeonsplatz is one of the beautiful squares of Munich. We found that it’s a fave hangout place of youngsters for dance practices and performances, just in front of Feldherrnhalle building.

Great place to spend 2-3 hours with kids. Very well organized from educational point of view, there are many interactive items. You can easy to check how is working all-wheel-drive transmission or steering wheel or other technical solution we are using daily. There is big Lego playing room for kids. Parking can be an issue.
This is a beautiful church with a gorgeous alter. It is free to enter and take photos but remember it is an active church so be respectful.
We went to the Transport Museum with #Bigfoot and #Littlefeet. It was quite crowded, but got lost in the three halls. There were lots of small children and older people. We had a look at all three halls. Impressive exhibits in the motorbikes, cars or the railway.
Three aspects that we found a little strange: 1. the exhibits and their stories mostly describe the past - but what about the mobility of the future?
2. of course #Bigfoot and #Littlefeet wanted to get behind the wheel of the truck and eventually did when it was their turn. But not only is the cab getting a bit long in the tooth, the cushions and seat covers are also broken and filthy with stains. Why doesn't anyone take care of that?
3. We had an online family ticket (17€) and still had to stand in the normal long row. Why is there no "fast lane" with scanner?
All in all, it's a big museum with good transport links and good infrastructure in terms of restaurants and parks around it. The entrance fee is worth it because the children are delighted and get wide-eyed. There is also a children's area in hall three. We are happy to recommend the museum, although it could improve on some points.

Amazing museum on transportation: bikes, motorcycles, cars, trains, street cars, carriages, buses, trams. Amazing history and artifacts in this museum. They also have a hall specifically for children. I really enjoyed my visit and highly recommend this when visiting Munich. So much to see and enjoy.
very nice to visit, just open, a real visit in the history of the Oktoberfest with lots of info and objects about the evolution of the biggest beerfest in the world. Worth the visit and its price for the ticket!
Another square surrounded by designer shops. Nice selection of cafes. And also beautiful & quiet park just between the cafes and shops. For those that fancy a chilled stroll or sit down. Do check out the Mercedes-Benz cafe it's nice inside.

It's not the most beautiful church in Munich, but it's definitely worth seeing, also because it's located in one of the most important squares in the city. Very beautiful both externally and internally
Visited on Christmas morning. The smoky interior of the church had a very mysterious appearance. Unlike the noisy outside, it is a very beautiful and peaceful place. It was also a good place to take a break during the trip.
Perfect for kids 3-8! Amazing museum on mobility, with lots of bikes, cars, trams, racing cars and trains on exhibition. Among other things, kids get to try out a car simulator, there's a lot to do. I'd plan 2-3h for my visit. A family ticket is €17, which is fair. Easy 5/5. 💯
The gothic church welcomes you with a trip back in time to the era of awesome architecture and holiness. one of the iconic churches in central Munich that you must see. the ceiling is incredible so is the sculptures and paintings.
