Go early in the morning and you will have it to yourself! We walked through here in the morning heading to the English garden and when we returned later there was a festival of some type.
Nice plaza and architecture to check out

In this location you get to see some magnificent ornate buildings all walking distance. Such architectural masterpieces that were desgned by real visionaries, so much to take in and real photo dream
Holy Cross Church is a beautiful and serene place with stunning architecture and peaceful atmosphere.

The amount of artwork and decorations in this amazing church is insane! It is so beautiful. If you want to check every detail here, then you could spend all day. Also, sitting here quietly and enjoying the place while resting your feet if, you have been walking a lot like me, makes ypu feel at peace. Loved this church.
In the heart of the Munich this place has all kinds of attractions. Great structures, well paved square, gardens, prestigious outlets of so great brands housed in classical buildings.
Spend quality time here.

"Odeonsplatz in Munich offers a quintessential Bavarian experience, seamlessly blending history, culture, and architectural splendor. As you step onto this grand square, you're greeted by iconic landmarks like Theatiner Church and Feldherrnhalle, each boasting intricate designs and rich histories.

Whether you're a history buff or simply seeking picturesque views, Odeonsplatz delivers. Take a leisurely stroll through the square's manicured gardens, or immerse yourself in the surrounding museums and galleries showcasing Bavaria's vibrant past.

The ambiance here is unmatched, especially during festivals or cultural events when the square comes alive with music, art, and the cheerful chatter of locals and tourists alike. It's a fantastic spot for people-watching, capturing breathtaking photos, or simply soaking up the vibrant atmosphere.

What truly sets Odeonsplatz apart is its accessibility. Situated in the heart of Munich, it's easily reachable by public transportation, making it a convenient stop on any itinerary.

In summary, Odeonsplatz is a must-visit destination for anyone exploring Munich. Whether you're drawn to its historical significance, architectural marvels, or lively ambiance, this square offers an unforgettable experience that embodies the essence of Bavaria."

We should remember a little boy called Franz Anton Beckenbauer in that church during 1950s

I and my kids were here before the pandemic. The atmosphere of the Church is solemn. Though there was no service mass that time of our visit the feel within was overwhelmed with peace. We felt the Holy Spirit engulfed us as we were praying and as we leave the place. We want to visit the Church again on the next vacation.

Three individual houses with three different characters are grouped around a central, triangular courtyard at Rindermarkt. They were named after Ruffini tower that was located here and demolished in 1808. Beautiful pastel colored facade with frescas and reliefs is not something typical in Munich so enjoy the view. On the ground floor of Ruffinihaus you can find different local shops.

Old church with red bricks from outside and many statues and renovated from the inside cause it was destroyed in WW2. you can witness a half remaining statue of Jesus Christ on the cross, the part that remains safe after the destruction. the holy mass on sunday is at 9.30 a.m but open for visitors from 9.30 till 5.00 p.m. the sounds of the prayers inside are amazing and the architectural sculptures are wonderful.

Amazing! Never before seen such a big church with this much daylight!
One of the most beautiful and oldest Churches of Munich.

Outside building is made up with red bricks.

The crucified idol of Jesus Christ hangs up in air which makes this church unique. The idol otherwise usually is at the front on the wall at many places but not here.

Peaceful and Beautiful. Feel close to the almost.
Imposing church perched atop the Giesinger Berg, and facing the river Isar, a beautiful sight to behold.

We happened to walk up to the series of houses and the interesting designs got my attention. The colours and design of the building was quite intricate and looked really nice. It looked like there was some construction being performed along the lower level.
Beautiful church, worth visiting.

Ruffinihaus is a location of historic houses and buildings at Rindermarkt, most recently the development of Gabriel von Seidl (1903-05) who created the beautiful Baroque and Rococo style building found here today.

Unfortunately when we visited last year, we found pretty much the entire building under scaffolding. During a recent visit, we were happy to find a large portion of the beautiful facade open and available for viewing. Some of the ground level shops were starting to find tenants as well.

I image a year from now, Ruffinihaus will make quite the building to see for those who spend time in this area of Munich. It is a delightful building for those who enjoy Baroque and Rococo architecture and design.

This is a group of three houses decorated with very nice paintings. It is very close to Marienplatz, there is a small street leads to it.
