Superb diabetes coma inducing treats that make you forget the world for a moment. The atmosphere is 5 marble blocks with cereals etched in them. Novel, but not cumfy.
Very friendly place, the workers are very polite. There isn’t much seating and it’s all outside. The ice cream is good decent amount of flavors to pick from and I got myself a strawberry milkshake and you can get any flavor of milkshake you aslong as they have the ice cream flavor of it. Overall if you want to cool yourself down after hot day I would come here

I was on vacation in Hawaii and found this place near the hotel where I was staying. Some friends recommended to me to try out some açaí bowls, so I decided to order from IL Gelato a Mango Sunshine bowl. It was so good! Good portions, and decent pricing. Definitely recommend this place if you’re looking for some Italian-style treats and are near the Waikiki area!
I got the mango sunshine açaí bowl and let me tell you, it was sooo good. I’m not normally an açaí bowl person but the banana and blueberries tasted fresh and paired so well with the mango flavor. It tasted like it was made from real mangoes. This was a great pick-me-up to grab after a long, hot day at the beach. It’s also not a far walk from the International Marketplace.
This was some good quality dessert and definitely warrants a return visit to try their many other flavors. The flavor was sweet and you can taste the intended flavors without it being overwhelming. The service was pretty friendly as they helped with choosing.

A very aesthetically pleasing ice cream stand built into the side of Kith. You choose either a cup of ice cream or a milkshake. Then what kind of ice cream. They have non-dairy options. Choose your mixings. You can also choose a premade mix by celebrities. My favorites have been the bam bam and the flat white. The topo Chico drink is also incredible. It has ice cream, shaved ice, topo Chico, and a fruit of your choice. It can be a bit pricey but not bad for Waikiki. The ingredients are top notch as well. A great spot to grab a sweet treat in Waikiki.

The best soft serve and creamsicles. Our fav is the pineapple creamsicle and the dream soft serve. They even have dairy free options which is great for our dietary restricted friends. Staff is always kind and helpful.

In Hawaii, they offer a wide variety of unique flavors, which are not too heavy and refreshing, making the gelato easy to enjoy. We had two scoops of sorbet and three scoops of gelato. The gelato, with its texture and flavor leaning towards sorbet, felt a bit too sweet for my liking. Also, since the minimum order is two scoops, it would be nice if they offered single scoop options as well. My husband always only eats one scoop, yet he had to choose two scoops.🍨
We loved this place so much we literally went every single day the week we were vacating, sometimes twice a day! I was obsessed with the blueberries and they always gave me extra. The acai bowl was SO fresh and delicious!!! There's tons of toppings you can add on. And the people were so friendly! Would highly recommend!
Amazingly decadent waffles with great toppings and syrups. The staff is wonderful and the atmosphere feels very local and authentic. The prices are very reasonable too!
It is hard to find BUT it is worth it. The portion is HUGE and the flavors are really good. They don’t skip on the syrup and give you a lot. Every bite you can taste the flavor. Unlike others, the syrup is only on the outside. Get it with condensed milk.
We're visiting for the week and decided to have breakfast here with our kids as a special treat. It's about a half mile walk from our hotel and it was already pretty busy when we got there around 8:45am. There was a bit of a wait for the food to be brought out, but definitely worth it. We got the peanut butter banana and the Aussie waffles. Both were amazing.
I would recommend this place to anyone visiting Hawaii. This place fully encompasses the Hawaiian spirit. The staff is so welcoming and friendly. I’ve dined in at multiple places around the island and I haven’t experienced such superb customer service before. The food is also delicious. The only thing I’d say this place should do is have people dining in pay after. That way, they can decide a more appropriate tip after the service. The food is simple, yet delicious. I’d definitely come back next time I’m in Hawaii.
I absolutely love this place! Not only was the service phenomenal and the space was clean. I truly felt like there were amazing options on the menu in our food came out fairly quickly. We got basically an acai variable on a waffle and I will never look back. It was kind of hard to find this place but it was worth the look
Love this place. The shave ice portions are huge. We all bought kids sized shave ice as the small was as big as my daughter's head, and she's still in elementary school. The service was great. The guy behind the counter was super helpful and patient as my daughter didn't pick her flavors till after her shave ice bowl was complete.
I got the small for my wife and I, definitely is not small. It was big enough for 4 people definitely. Flavor was really good. We got banana with watermelon ice cream and condensed milk. Definitely going to have this again before returning home.

I highly recommend this place for ice cream and shakes! They not only look really cool it was some of the best icecream I've ever had besides homemade. The level of creativity is what really peaked my interests.
This place makes monster size shave ice bowls. Family came here after the beach and we thoroughly enjoyed it. I did find the syrup a little bit too sweet compared to other places on the island. This place was managed by one brother taking in all the orders (kudos to him!) So the wait time may be a smidge on the long side. But we had time so this was not an issue for us. Few tables inside to enjoy the AC while you consume the shave ice
KITH Treats is not inside the KITH store but rather a window just outside of it. It’s still right next to it and absolutely worth the find. We wanted a little ice cream to kickoff our treat and KITH Treats did not disappoint. Absolutely delicious. The ice cream you order will be crushed and blended together so that it’s smooth and not necessarily crunchy. They also have Vegan options!
Really enjoyed the shave ice here, the texture was great and we were given so much flavoring. Particularly enjoyed the strawberry creme and peach creme flavors, but probably would skip on the snowcap topping next time with these flavors. I thought the ice was nicely shaven, and has great texture. The portions are actually huge, pictured here is the medium size and easily shareable between two, thankfully there was indoor seating we could enjoy without making too much of a mess!

There was no line when we were there Thursday morning. We took our time ordering and curating our own ice cream. We got vanilla, frosted flakes, cookie dough and ube. It was delicious and had a bit of a crunch! It’s a pretty big cup and perfect to share for two.
Small restaurant serving delicious local dishes. Everything we ordered was really good. We found the food to be down to earth - creative yet showcasing the high quality ingredients and not overly complicated. Safe to say our favourite spot in Honolulu. Location is above a car dealership which made for awkward parking but no big deal. Is island hop just to come eat here. Service was excellent.

Delicious. It's a bit hidden away above some expensive car dealerships, but the food was excellent, and the service was complementary. My partner and I went for our anniversary, and would go again. It wasn't super-fancy dress up or anything, but it was a very nice meal. Next time, I'd absolutely spring for the prix-fixe menu. Portion sizes are not small, making it even more worth it.
First shaved ice place we tried when visiting Hawaii for the first time! We order the Ube with condensed milk, azuki beans, and mochi. It was SO good. The mochi had a great chew and texture and the ube flavor was spot on and not too sweet ;) it was refreshing and a great treat on a hot day! We came about an hour before close and there was a very long line! So be ready to wait! It was about $10 for a regular but I thought it was worth it.

The dinner menu was excellent and our service was great for a Friday evening. I loved my mochi brownie dessert with the signature Gin and Tonic cocktail and would recommend for a nice dinner. It’s a somewhat small dinner and brightly lit, so if you’re looking for a candlelight ambiance I wouldn’t recommend

It was my first time trying shaved ice in Hawaii and it did not disappoint! I wish I could have tried more flavors but the ones we got were good and the condensed milk topping is a MUST! Adds the perfect amount of creaminess. The location is super lowkey next to apartments.
I have been here 2x. The first time was underwhelming (I ordered the paella, oysters, cheesecake and the lychee yuzu drink.) This second time they made up for it. I ordered the risotto, fish dip and black forest cake, Their valet parking is $6 but always crowded. Worth the visit for their customer service and tasty food.
It’s one of the best shave ice places on the island. The ice is soft and they have so many flavors, stuffings, and toppings to choose from. The staff are friendly and it’s decently priced. Parking can be tricky, but you can always park at Foodland and walk down. This place is a must if you want real Hawaiian shave ice.
The best ice cream we had in Oahu! We ordered the Taro ice cream cone (The Cream) and the pineapple bar. Both had real taro and pineapple, and the chocolate and crunch flavors weren't overly sweet. We also bought a t-shirt, but t-short couldn't be tried on at store. The size S was a good fit for my husband, but it had an oversized style. The t-shirt was of high quality, though it might be too thick for Hawaii's weather.

We came here twice during our 7-day stay. We had the matcha shaved ice during our first visit (as recommended by the sweetest uncle at the cashier) and my husband & I — both matcha lovers — agree that it was the best shaved ice we’ve ever had 🤯

We shared an island vintage shave ice treat after some walk under this heat & enjoyed each spoonful. Had on the side some mochi chunks that were flavorful.
One of the best Shaved Ice spots in our opinion. We stumbled by this place during our last visit, and now it's out go to spot for shaved ice. It's at the entrance of a parking lot and sometimes there is quite a line, but definitely worth it!
Been craving to come back to Hawaii to get our fix of Ice Monster. There’s lots of places for shave ice but this Taiwan style is top notch. We ordered the papaya flavoured and it blew our minds. Need to try the other flavours like mango and green tea before we leave.
Me and my family loved this place! It was almost like a nightly routine to come here if we had time or weren't exhausted from our day. The owner (I'm assuming he is the owner) who stands outside greeting people and sometimes works the register is so welcoming and friendly, I'm more than happy to give my money to someone with a positive attitude lol but the shaved ice is so good and refreshing, definitely worth your money and in my opinion the wait time isn't bad even with how packed it can get here. I highly recommend giving this place a try!

Shaved ice was so good I came back twice! The heavenly lilikoi was nice, but I feel the better move is to build your own with 3 flavors which is cheaper ($8 vs $11, the main star of the show is the shaved ice and I felt the extra toppings like the popping boba and frozen yogurt were unnecessary). Would recommend lilikoi, mango, and strawberry flavors, acai was too mild in my opinion. Also be aware there's a massive line for this place.
Ok. First of all. This place is fire. Service was quick and fast and efficient! The shave ice and the açaí bowl is fire! I mean good! Worth every bit of your money. The people working here are so amazing and precious. It’s my spouse bday and as I put my order in…. It asked my name “tony it’s my bday” and you know what they did! They got candles for him. How freaking sweet! I’m recommending this place to everyone. The music playing is my vibe! Great choice
My boyfriend, my brother and I tried Island Vintage Shave Ice a few times on our trip to Waikiki. It ended up being a hidden gem because we found out that they also serve coffee and açai bowls, which people wait in long lines for at other locations! We tried the Hawaiian Rainbow, Pink Island, Super Island, and Tropical Island. They were all delicious! The syrups taste like real fruit purée, which is the reason why this became our fav shave ice in Waikiki.

We had a lot of Shave Ice on different Islands and we love it, but Ice Monster takes it to a whole new level. My wife and I shared the Monster sized Mango and was so good with all the different stuff that goes in it. It doesn't melt down and become a soupy mess like Shave Ice, it was fluffy till the last bite. I don't know what kind of sorcery this is, but we're going back tonight for moarrrrRR. The line was long, but it moves pretty fast.
We stopped by for a treat. We ordered a small shave ice with the flavors ube creme, guava, lychee and added condensed milk. The small is really BIG! The syrups had great flavor. Overall a satisfying and refreshing shave ice.
We came in late 945pm just before closing. We ordered 2 Hawaiian rainbows. They were out of soft ice cream and substituted with gelato. The shave ice was fine and melted in our mouths. The natural fruit purees were sweet and yummy. It was a great way to end the day. I gave it 4 stars for atmosphere because while they were closing they played a cute but annoying song at the end of the day on their speakers. Seriously playing it twice is enough especially since you locked the entry doors anyways. “It’s time to go home…….”😭
It was dessert time. Icy Monster was close by. The serving sizes were good. Unfortunately the fresh mango sensation did not taste fresh at all. Tasted artificial. We ate in and the seats were in need of repair or replacement. The welds were broken. You may want to check out the other dessert bars first.

I think this is the best ice shave on the island. We had several more, but this one we loved the most. We first tried it when we were for the first time in Oahu, 4 years ago and nothing changed since then, it's delicious!
Great açaí bowl, unfortunately not very friendly staff. This is a “no cash” place, you place the order electronically so there is no interaction or customer service. Unfortunately the automation doesn’t not bring great customer experience.

Wow, wow, wow. Shaved ice with super creamy milk soft serve, real pineapple and mango puree, and large chunks of mochi. Simply cannot go wrong and this joint pulls it off. The "Tropical Island" is an absolute stunner.
The inside smells a bit funky and moldy and there are literally pigeons walking around the floor. But all is forgiven when you scoop in that shaved ice.

Ordering is done through the touchscreen terminal. I got my item within ten minutes after a queue of five people before me.
I first tried the Heavenly Lillikoi (10.95) There was consistent flavoring through the ice. Never having this before it was amazing. The mochi was the highlight for me. I can't really explain it, they were not mushy yet not too chewy either.
It was so good that I ordered again the next day (Super Island 10.95). Serving took only five minutes. A must visit if you are in the area. Just mind the time of day.

Great place to get shaved ice after visiting the beach. They top it with plenty of fruit, mochi, and filling. This was my first time ever having shaved ice so I can't compare it to other types and quality, but I can say it was a refreshing treat on a hot day!

The worst part of the restaurant is that it’s impossible to find. There is an associated cafe that closes early, so after 730 you need to find an entrance that is open through one of the car dealerships, then find a way to the third floor. Once there you can enjoy fine dining among the cars in the many show rooms that adjoin the restaurant. The restaurant is expensive. We had two drinks, one appetizer, one dessert, and two entries for a bit under $200. Everything was excellent, but realize that you are going to pay for it, and we didn’t order one of the many $60 entrees. My favorite was the butterfish.

I feel like a local pro. Small cute business with very good shave ice. Good prices and good service. Not for fancy, but for foodies. Good quality. Keiki size is already so big, you can share. Small is Hudge.
Delicious shave ice, a small is only $6.50 and was just right to share with my wife. You are able to get 3 different flavors. If I was to get my own I would probably get the kid size but it's only 50 cents less. You might as well get the small size instead. They also don't skimp on the syrup.
I like Waiola Shave ice there ice seems to be bit finer but they don't give you as much ice and aren't as generous with their syrup. I just found our new shave ice shop.

We come here all the time , at least once a week, the flavors aren’t artificial tasting like other spots we’ve tried we continue to come from Kaneohe and waipahu to Lahaina shaved ice sometimes the workers get overwhelmed with the traffic and become a bit not nice but the wait is worth it.
TASTING MENU FUN! I always love a good tasting menu. Tried this spot on our anniversary while traveling. Great spot. The mochi crusted fish was incredible. Service was strong but not fine dining. Our waiter was awesome but the overall culture is not one of fine dining. One of the unique aspects of this restaurant is that it is literally inside of a Ferrari and Bentley dealership. You have to navigate the parking garage with bad signage to find the valet for the restaurant. we had to ask for help a couple of times. The tasting menu was really strong with great flavors woven into some traditional dishes. Some of it seemed a little over-the-top while others were spot on. Overall we were impressed but felt like the experience overall to price balance was a little off.
If you have a special occasion, this is the place to go. We had a wonderfully pleasant evening which really had no low points. The ambiance was romantic and quiet and all servers were professional and knowledgeable.

Came for shaved ice and ordered a small. Even the small size is pretty big. Was pretty good and the staff was very nice! The flavor I had was rainbow with condensed milk which was a lot of different ones but not sure about the exact ones
