The place had a strange smell and heat, and it was not that clean. The icecream itself was okay. The chocolate banana flavour mostly tasted like banana. The icecream also smelled like play-doh. I would not recommend the place or go back there.

They spice the tapioca! It's tasty even when there's no drink left. It tastes like a masala chai black tea spice mix. Super delish

had the banana milk boba and it was delicious! the inside is small so you’ll have to take it to go but the service was great and prices aren’t bad.
A NYC staple! Quick, fresh, and super convenient with multiple locations throughout the boroughs. Big fan of the Peanut/Almond butter Punches and the Island coconut smoothies.

Great place to hang out with friends and have a bite or drink. Staff were very nice and even replaced a friend’s cup after it broke. The boba is great (I recommend the Brown Sugar) too. If you’re eating in, the atmosphere feels slightly crowded with all the hard chairs and tables using up most of the floor space.

Such a cute little place (yes, very little)!

The boba was very good, not too sweet, the boba taste fresh.
We also had a donut and that was fluffy and sweet.

Best Boba tea I have had in Chinatown for sure! The customer service is sublime✨They take their time with each customer to explain the menu thoroughly and try to match the tea with a flavor that compliments your palate. This was my first experience with Boba tea and I'm glad I decided to try it on a whim. The experience is personalized to each individual. The decor inside is beautiful and there is a sanitation station as soon as you enter. The flavor of the tea is pure and free of any added and unnecessary sugars. It is absolutely delicious and I feel is a true display of the beauty of Chinatown💜 If you are in Chinatown for tea, this is a must stop.

Loved their onigiri, freshly and clamly prepared in front of you. Only 1 customer/group allowed at a time, which means you wait quite a bit, but I appreciate the concept and the food is worth the wait.

As a lifetime boba enthusiast, the Boba Guys have the best quality boba in the city. Since the rising popularity of bubble tea in general, most places have drinks that are powdery, too sweet, and can never get their boba right (they’re always undercooked, overcooked, or taste like absolutely nothing). I feel that overall we’ve lost the authentic taste of bubble tea made with real tea leaves, quality ingredients, and the focus on perfecting the boba that was such a staple from my childhood. But anything and everything I get from Boba Guys exceeds my expectations and I can finally say I’ve found boba that I truly enjoy again. Their classic drinks never miss, and their seasonal specials are always creative and delicious. Anyone who asks me where to go for bubble I always direct them here, even my family members who live on the west coast always make Boba Guys a necessary stop in their trips here. I’m a little sad they have less locations now but I don’t mind commuting for this. Hopefully we can see some more open soon and maybe even in queens!

Want to taste what you had ordered? Then this is the spot. I've been passing by this tea shop and noticed there's always a line, so one day I didn't see anyone waiting and decided to try it out.

The shop is small but decorated with lots of cute figurines. They only allow 1 party at a time because it is quite tight inside. The selection is vast, so you can definitely find something. The thing I noticed that I dont see at other tea shops is that you can choose the intensity of the tea. Other shops are just ice and sugar level selections. After you decide on your order, they would make it and let you taste what you order to see if the levels are good before pouring it into the full cup.

I did enjoy what I got, which was the Jasmine green tea, because I like something milky, so paired with the default, strong tea was perfect since green tea is light. The milk was not overbearing, so I still was able to taste the tea. Would I come back? I would, but not if I see a line out the door. If you do try it out, let me know what you think, and they also have onigiri if you want some snacks to go with your tea.

Good! It used to be the hype for boba in NY - not sure what happened. Still good, but I remember it was better, especially for matcha.
Wonderful customer Service, great selection of flavors that are unique. Plenty of customization for your orders if you don’t want a pre arranged menu item. Definitely worth a try for a new take on ice cream…. Plus a mason jar to go home with!!!

I recently visited the creamery, and I must say, it was a delightful experience. The staff was exceptional, providing excellent service with a smile. What truly stood out were the amazing combinations of drinks they offered. Each sip was a flavorful adventure, and I appreciated the creativity in their menu. If you're looking for a place with both friendly staff and unique drink options, this creamery is worth a visit!

This place was packed! Very little waiting room when I went on a Saturday afternoon, but I'm sure the experience is better on a slower day. Service was a bit slow too. I got the basic black, the Bubble tea tasted only ok.

A friend recommended this place because of their super cheap brick toast! Teado is a small shop located in NYC Chinatown. They had a line...only one group could order at a time and you have to wait for that group to receive their order. Though the line was only 4-5 groups (9ish people), I still waited 45 minutes on a Saturday afternoon. I passed by around a Wednesday afternoon and saw no wait though

My condensed french toast ($3.50) was absolutely worth the wait. It was toasted perfectly and not burnt. They added just the right amount of condensed milk so it wasn't soggy. I also tried their oolong milk tea since I guess people also wait for drinks only. It was good but nothing special, would definitely come back for the french toast if there's no line lol.

I decided to try their bubble tea since they were close to where I parked. This was my first time trying the drink in general.
I had the medium chai tea with boba.
There were only two sizes, medium and large. The price was $7.40 after tax.
There was a good amount of boba inside, however the chai was very subtle.

The staff was fast and friendly, however they seemed to be in a rush. All three were in conversation before I entered but immediately turned to my attention.

I’d try another one from here next time I’m in Chinatown.

The store could be a little more organized, it seems there’s a little of everything all around the store but for most parts it was clean.

No restrooms here!
This is smoothie heaven per a person that doesn’t really imbibe smoothies. First time had had the mango banana one but my eyes fell on my daughter,s avocado based called avocolada. First back to the Mango banana which I think also had pineapple in it. Was fruity and light…. Very delicious. However when I took a sip of the avocolada, I couldn’t believe how tasty and filling it was. Apparently besides guess what avocados, avocolada also contains spinach. Now if I was told a this at the beginning I probably wouldn’t have even taken a sip. But it seems Hawa has come up with recipe that the imbiber doesn’t taste it alll. Parents take note. Prices were right for nyc. Hope to able to replicate when I get back home. Just a warning for those not knowing that avocados do oxidize a bit rapidly. So despite the excellent sealing that Hawa does, you might find the taste changing a bit after some time. Love to get it again.

Friendly service and great presentation but the soft serve and Thai tea was very meh. I got the earl gray and it was very faint in taste, was more like vanilla with very subtle hints of tea. The Thai tea was not creamy, very watery and biter. The shop is small with two standing bar counters. They had a lot of people working behind the counter to get a bunch of orders out so it might have been rushed but as much as I liked the way it looked, it didn't tastes that good.
They offer an extremely polite service that does not rush into taking orders. They serve you to taste before making your tea, which is a service that most places do not offer.
Unfortunately the bobas were too small and I didn't get enough coffee flavor in my coffee based drink.
Great place in Chinatown! Went to get rolled ice cream they did not disappoint! Amazing little shop. They allow you to get unlimited toppings!!!

What can I say about this place! I LOVE IT! Between their fresh blended juices, to their beautifying smoothies, to their health conscious protein shakes, it got to a point where those drinks alone would be all I needed for my lunch! I’m just heartbroken that my favorite location on Church Street in FIDI closed down! 😢

This was truly the best bubble tea EXPERIENCE I've ever had in my life.
They take one person/group at a time, thus the long wait. But it's completely worth it. Once in, they ask you what type of bubble tea you like and guide you through their vast menu.
They prepare your bubba, and make you taste a sample to make sure you like it, or to see if there's anything you want to adjust (sweetness, consistency).
The ingredients we're soo fresh and the bubba tasted great.
We also took the onigiri, which are freshly made in front of you. We couldn't decide which flavor to get so the employee was kind enough to make one of each and wrote on the package what each flavor was. She also included gloves so we could eat them without dirtying our hands, which was so thoughtful.
The whole thing was a lovely experience. This place is a must try if you're in Chinatown.

Staff was really nice and presentation was good but taste was okay, at best.
I got the earl grey/Vietnamese coffee swirl ice cream and neither flavors were impressive. The texture of the ice cream is too thick, kind of like the icing they use on ice cream cake. Earl grey didn’t taste like earl grey and Vietnamese coffee was just slightly bitter but not really present either. If you like thick textured ice cream you would enjoy this but I tossed it after three bites.

Live in the neighborhood and finally stopped by today. Really adorable shop with lovely workers. I got the strawberry donut and it was delicious! I was really impressed by the frosting. They have cute seating outside where I read and enjoyed my donut.

This place is run by the KINDEST woman. I accidentally left my wallet, and she came TO MY APARTMENT to give it to me after the shop closed!! It was so sweet. I didn't even realize it was gone but she managed to figure out my address. She also brought me a free donut to further emphasize just how wonderful she is.

I will definitely become a regular! Can't wait to try out more items. Hopefully I don't leave my wallet again 😂 I highly recommend this spot.

A sign that said “now serving sushi” caught my eye. I was heading to Tribeca, thinking of sushi and this was, literally, a sign. Walking in, Japanese high intensity pop music and bright colors surrounded me. It’s a micro slice of being in a department store full of Japanese consumerism - amazing! There is candy, fun bottled drinks, household goods (plates, glasses, cups in ceramic and porcelain), cleaning products, and starionary. All good quality.

On a whim bought a ceramic coffee mug ($7.99) that is very similar to a forty dollar coffee mug I saw at a fancy ceramic store. For lunch I got spicy salmon sushi and a taro milk bubble tea. It took 5-10 min to get my food because sushi was handmade to order - the rice was still warm when I dug in. Not a Michelin star by any means, but a terrific lunch for a great price.

Interesting experience for a simple Bubble Tea. Excellent service and customized tea for your taste buds.

You didn't like the sample that's made to your order, simply say so and they will change it to make your needs.

Expect to see a bit of wait as they only let one party at a time into the store to serve. All the wait is worth it though.

If you are a party of more than 4, it may be hard to fit in the place. Of course you all get to take out your orders.
My favorite smoothie spot in the city! I come here frequently (I have pictures for days). They make great smoothies that are thick but still drinkable and doesn’t melt away and desperate after 10 minutes. They have locations all throughout Manhattan and two locations in BK. I’ve been to almost all locations.

I usually orders the Triple A Party Açaí Smoothie which is a great meal replacement. My second favorite is the Berry Nana which comes with Goji Berries.

I tell everyone I know about this gem! Please don’t hesitate. They have an extensive menu along with bubble tea, regular tea, health booster shots, and oatmeal!

I had chocolate latte which was literally chocolate powder, milk, ice, and little of boba. The second was strawberry fruit tea which was strawberry jam, water, ice, and boba. The price was ok for the size, however, the flavor was bad like home chocolate milk and the boba tasted off a bit. This was my first time purchasing from here and i hope they can fix it.

Myself and family love ice cream! While we was in New York we stopped at a popular ice cream spot Surreal Creamery! The atmosphere is warm and inviting, the staff is so nice and the ice cream is so good! I had the Taro bubble tea with Taro ice cream and it’s something about these purple ice creams but I love them! So New York calls their purple ice cream Taro where Boston uses Ube they are both the same to me they both taste so amazing on my pallet I’m definitely becoming a fan of different flavors! So when you’re in New York and you have a craving for some ice cream or bubble tea stop by Surreal Creamery you can get a mason jar or you can put your own flavors together and get creative with your ice cream I mean endless possibilities but I highly recommend getting the Taro ice cream get anything Taro it is so good!

The bubble tea at Jupioca excellent and authentic.

What I appreciated most about Jupioca was that it offers an authentic bubble tea experience. The tea is brewed fresh, and the tapioca pearls are made in-house, giving each drink a unique and high-quality taste.

I was also impressed by the variety of options Jupioca offered. They had a wide range of classic and unique flavors, and the ability to customize the sweetness and ice levels to my liking was a great feature.

Overall, I had a lovely experience at Jupioca, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a delicious and authentic bubble tea. The service was excellent, and the drinks were top-notch. I will certainly be visiting Jupioca again for my next bubble tea fix.

Let me start off by saying that Surreal Creamery is an absolute dream for anyone with a sweet tooth! This place has some of the most creative and delicious ice cream flavors I've ever tasted.

The atmosphere is really unique and funky, with bright colors and whimsical decorations. It's definitely a fun place to hang out and indulge in some ice cream. The staff is also incredibly friendly and welcoming, which only adds to the overall experience.

Now, let's talk about the ice cream itself. Oh my goodness. Where do I even start? The flavors are truly one-of-a-kind, and you can tell that the ingredients are high-quality and carefully sourced. I tried the Lavender Honeycomb flavor and it was absolutely divine. The lavender was subtle but distinct, and the chunks of honeycomb added a nice crunch and sweetness.

But that's not all - Surreal Creamery also offers a variety of toppings and add-ons that take their ice cream to the next level. I added some homemade caramel sauce to my Lavender Honeycomb scoop, and it was the perfect complement.

Overall, I can't recommend Surreal Creamery enough. If you're in the mood for some creative and delicious ice cream, this is the place to go. The atmosphere is fun and inviting, the staff is friendly, and the ice cream is out of this world. Don't miss out on this

I feel like the prices are really reasonable considering where you are in Manhattan. The strawberry milk is great. Staff is pleasant and the place feels homey.
Great ice cream with unlimited wonderful toppings but what stood out to me even more was the visual treat in seeing the ice cream made in front of our eyes. Six different flavor options (taro and matcha as well) and 15 plus toppings. Prices are decent at about $9 per rolled ice cream bowl. Definitely recommend.

They do have indoor seating but there could be about a 10 minute wait time since they make it fresh in front of your eyes. The best to watch were there cookies and cream where they break the Oreos in front of you and the strawberry fields where the mix strawberry ice cream with fresh strawberries and a cream base.

I got the taro which tasted great after waiting about 3 minutes ( It is super cold when served since it is just frozen) and loved the lychee and mochi toppings with the condensed milk drizzle. They have a 4% cash discount as well.

The Strawberry Jasmine tea might be one of the best boba teas I’ve ever had. The lychee is a close second! Both are super refreshing and incredible. Boba guys does it right and they are super quick. I love the ability to customize everything from hot or cold to the level of sweetness.
Nitro ice cream is amazing, definitely try it if you haven't before! And the waffle cones here make it next level, definitely worth it!!

Fast service, small space but not too crowded. Unlimited topping and great flavor selections

Came here and got the pandan caramel matcha with almond jelly! I was pleasantly surprised with the caramel - I thought it would be too sweet but it was a really nice touch. I think the pandan flavor was not very strong and the matcha was pretty overpowering. I thought it was still good but if you wanted a strong pandan flavor you might be disappointed.

A new boba place, and one I can't recommend more highly. The tea is sweet and priced relatively reasonably, and the ambience is fantastical and whimsical. Pastel colors are omnipresent, from imaginative, shimmering, artificial cherry blossom trees, to the cute, frothy ornamentation that can be found everywhere here. The effect is cozy yet dreamlike. Grab a tea and some Thai chicken wings and appreciate this swath of hyper-saturated paradise.

I am absolutely obsessed with this spot - the UWS has deserved a cafe like this for a while now. Family owned, gorgeous decor, and the best mochi donuts I’ve had ANYWHERE, hands down.

On my first visit, I was greeted by the sweet shop owner, who is a UWS local. The mochi donuts come in lots of flavors, I recommend the taro (less sweet) or Nutella. The texture is exactly how a mochi donut should be - light, fluffy, and bouncy. There is also a small menu for hot food that includes Korean corn dogs and a pork belly rice bowl. My Korean corn dog was enormous and cheesy, arguably better than lots of others I’ve tried around the city. The fried ice cream was also delicious! And lastly, I cannot say enough good things about decor. It’s charming, trendy, and perfect for pictures. You can feel the love the owners have poured into this place.

They’re working on opening a speakeasy-style bar in the back within the next few months, can’t wait!

This new mochi donut and boba shop in the UWS recently had their soft opening last weekend. Mochi Dolci is in the old space formerly occupied by Kefi, a now defunct Greek restaurant. While there are other spots in this neighborhood to get boba/bubble tea, this might be the first for mochi donuts. The exterior and interior space are aesthetically pleasing and very IG worthy. The interior décor is overly whimsical with its peach/pink walls, flower selfie walls and neon lights, and definitely stands out in this neighborhood.

The owner is so incredibly nice and took time to chat with us on our first visit. And on our second visit we felt like we were friends visiting. I’m not sure when they will be fully opened for indoor dining; we went yesterday, and it looks like they still had some small construction work happening.

Their menu is small right now and consists of six varieties of boba drinks, rotating flavors of mochi donuts, Korean corn dogs, and strawberry Bingsu. I’m sure they will continue to add more when they finally have their grand opening. You can place your order at the counter, at the kiosk by the entrance or by downloading their app and placing it there.

During our visits we’ve tried their Taro the Tiger Boba Tea and Black Sugar Boba. Unlike other boba shops, we weren’t given the option of customizing the sugar and ice levels. Not sure if this is because they are still working out the kinks and if this option is available on their kiosk. The Black Sugar Boba was a wee bit too sweet for me and the Taro Boba was not sweet enough. I did enjoy the boba pieces itself and wished they had put more in the drinks. We have also tried their mochi donuts and have gotten the pandan, strawberry and chocolate flavors. The mochi donuts here are very fluffy and had a nice chew. I enjoyed the pandan flavor best as it had a hint of pandan and coconut.

If you are in the neighborhood with the family, definitely check this place out. I think kids and teens especially would appreciate this place.
Great place in First Ave with a good range of juices and smoothies. Small but they pack alot in there.

I loved the store and the staff were nice. I think the cost of the bubble tea is reasonable considering the size. I however did not enjoy the tea. I thought it was watery and not really flavorful. The bobba tasted fermented and I don’t know if it was a one time thing or they were old. I will say for the price it is okay but for the taste I am not 100% behind it.
Do however give it a try! May be a one time off experience!

The tea and ice cream is yummmm not too sweet which I like a lot. My friend got Earl Grey bubble tea which also very good. Not too sweet. Ice cream itself is also good.

Staff is friendly and the place is clean.

I had ordered Brown Sugar Black Tea and Tiramisu Brulee Milk Tea. Both of them were tasty! I loved them however brown sugar was little sweet.

My girlfriend said she liked the peach green tea and it’s in a good location. Make sure to get it with less sugar

Boba here was amazing. I had the Koo Cha Milk Tea with brown sugar boba pearls and it was absolutely delicious. It’s a tad toward the sweeter side but I’m a sweet tooth so definitely loving it. Store was cosy, and only for take out.
Cute, nicely decorated and conveniently located Bubble Tea/smoothie shop!
Service was quick and courteous. Four stars because the bubble tea was good, but nothing special. Perhaps I'll try another flavor or drink type next time.
There is also no seating. (Outside could be a nice option for two stools, etc

The service was pretty quick. I ordered the number 1 and asked for the waffle to be added on the side. I added my own pocky to it and placed the waffle bits on it since it was a to go order. Looks appetizing but the ice cream wasn't very flavorful. I love rolled ice cream and this didn't have as much flavor as I would've wanted. The place has super cool art work on the walls! It's quite fitting and contributes to the vibe of it here.
Loved it. They actually make ice cream from scratch in front of you. I ordered an icecream which was coffee based mixed with mango, chocolate chips and oreo. It was good but I think if you want dominating mango flavor, go with vanilla base. Additionally, you get unlimited toppings for free. So, choose all the toppings you love 😀
Very nice breakfast spot for me. They have variety of healthy breakfast options. I have tried oatmeal with almond milk and almond smoothie. Very rich and good sources to keep you full for a whole day.

They are super accommodating to customizing drinks, and they have such a wide and fresh selection.

Reasonably priced for the quality and amount you receive, and short wait times. They can are often busy, but I think they are more well staffed than other bubble tea places. Love this place!
My favorite lunch spot at work!! The consistency in their smoothies are remarkable . I usually order #44 which is called Crunch and I add whey protein. Their prices are pretty reasonable for the UES. Large selection available for anyone and you can also customize your order which is a great option if on a strict diet. Also, prices are cheaper if you order in store as opposed to it ordering from an app for pickup.

This place is superb, and never fails to amaze my expectations. There’s options for everyone, from bubble teas to milkshakes to the star of the show, rolled ice cream. You get unlimited toppings on top of delicious rolled ice cream for a great prize, and the size is nothing to laugh at: it’s a lot of ice cream.

I’ve been coming here for quite a while now, and I can say that the quality has most definitely not changed. Even 2-3 years after I first came, I still enjoy the flavors of the ice cream and boba tea of this shop. Their creativity with flavors never fails to amaze me as they continue to bring out new flavors, new options, and new combinations each time I come back. This place is a must-go if you’re in the area. I definitely recommend this place.

This is where I first had my hot taro milk bubble tea and it was absolutely delicious. Friendly staff and pretty clean inside. I would recommend people try what I had.

Had an amazing smoothie from here today. Highly recommend this spot! The only thing that really bothers me is the fact that it’s loud from the blenders so it’s tough to communicate with the cashier as they have pretty much a wall built in front of it 😂

Jupioca saved my day with a refreshing bubble tea after a 20-mile walk in Manhattan. :)

The cafe invites with cleanliness, bright interior, and a wide selection of organic refreshments.

Kudos to their staff and management for providing great service and products.

Highlights:
- organic ingredients
- freshly-brewed bubble teas
- organic coconut water for sale
