We had breakfast at the Surfers Paradise Beach Cafe, and it was absolutely delicious! The food was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The ambiance was interesting with the birds wanting to participate in our eating experience. It is a gorgeous spot by the ocean. The service was friendly and attentive, making the whole experience even better. I recommend stopping by for a meal if you’re in the area! Say Hi to the bin chicken!
Won a package for my 30th birthday to celebrate at Cali Beach with me and up to 50 friends. Saw the reviews and knew it probably wasn't going to be great service, but thought I'd just try and avoid buying food specifically from them and I'd be safe. As my guests arrived, about 10% of them were given a wristband and a drink ticket as promised (I wasn't even given one when I come in and explained who I was 🤦🏼♀️). None were told where the booth was. Not sure what the wrist band even did to be honest, as nothing seemed to happen with those who didn't have it. I will say the staff were mostly friendly and the food was decent, and it was a gorgeous little poolside spot right by the beach.
However the worst was the cake. I'd brought a cake with me and they offered to put it in their fridge, which was great. Well around came time I wanted to bring it out as some of my guests were about to leave. I asked the bartender and he said he'd take care of it. Well 15 minutes went by, still nothing. Long story short, me and my guests asked THREE MORE TIMES and finally the cake came, over an hour later! I had literally 3 guests left to enjoy it because everyone else had to leave. So disappointing.
However the worst was the cake. I'd brought a cake with me and they offered to put it in their fridge, which was great. Had breakfast, nothing special about the service, but i admire the staff seems to always try outfast the birds from snatching leftovers (which seems to cause a potential mess and danger to other customers).

Cali Beach in Surfers Paradise is a great spot to spend the day. The venue has a relaxed yet stylish vibe, with beautiful views and a fantastic pool area that makes it easy to unwind. Stephen, who looked after us during our visit, was friendly and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed without being intrusive. The food and drinks were excellent as well, with a solid variety that hit the mark. Overall, it’s a solid choice if you’re in the area, and the service from Stephen definitely added to the experience.
New Years Eve 2024 at Cali Beach was seriously something else. Amazing setup, good music and the staff were super polite. It was a pleasure dealing with Stephen, he helped organise everything for us leading up to the event and on the night he continuously checked up on us. Everything was amazing, we all had heaps of fun and I couldn’t be happier.
We hired day beds with the drinks and food package. While the setup was nice, half of our food order was initially forgotten, and we had to follow up twice before it was served. Service became noticeably slower as the venue got busier, and we eventually resorted to going to the bar ourselves to order drinks.
Overall, the beach club has a lively vibe, and we enjoyed our day as a group.
However a group of older men behind us openly snorting and having a “scout” approach young women to join them. This gave the place a sleazy atmosphere and isn’t the type of place I feel comfortable returning to.

Service was less than average. None of the staff looked like they wanted to be there. Food was over priced without the added price for things that are usually free extras and wasn't tasty at all. Apart from the beautiful location, the atmosphere was pretty stale. Never again.

Even though it rained Xavier beach host was AMAZING. Went above & beyond for us. We had our 4th NKB Finale party here. & it didn’t disappoint. Has service was second to none and the beautiful girls that served us at the front we’re just lovely. It really made our event..

Sunday night, beach front dining. We found a 7 seat high (bar) table, which was very cramped and felt uncomfortable. Additionally, the tables seemed over compressed and hard to negotiate if you needed to walk around. Inside the venue was better presented but also look very unused considering it’s the Gold Coast. As the open area is shared with 3 other restaurants the customer experience feels very flat.

This allowed for seagulls to fly in, land on the tables and start eating the left over food. This is a serious hygiene issue - more attention here should be given. The whole area should be netted from guards to the roadside ceiling.

Chicken Parmigiana: Napoli sauce was really flat in flavour, I suspect that not enough sauce was used. The chicken was good thick portion though, juicy and tasty. Salad seemed thrown together, but the chips were excellent!
Beef Brisket Burger: brisket was melt in your mouth texture, but sriracha sauce was lacking in hot spice flavour, was rather mild for me, the size of the burger was perfect, larger then your normal burger, overall a tasty good size burger only, no chips which was an extra cost.

I believe there are some serious issues that need to be addressed with the service, food and atmosphere of this restaurant and also the outside dining area in general across all of these restaurants. I highly encourage you to look into this.

Amazing place. Our host Stephen is the best so far, he made our celebration better than we expected.

At first I was shocked to pay for a $22 burger, alone with no fries... But WOW! The biggest chicken schnitzel burger I've ever seen. Worth the money! Food was quickly served and fresh. My husband had the burger with the lot with a side of sweet potato fries, there was so many fries to share with three of us. Delicious! Our friend from Mexico wanted to try the barramundi fish. She was sooo happy! She said compliments to the chef. 🙏🏼😊. This restaurant is worth going too, as you have the beautiful view of the beach 🏖️
Had lunch at Beach Cafe recently, and the food was fantastic! Everything was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. It’s the perfect spot to enjoy a meal by the water with some really great options on the menu.
That said, the service was quite slow. The staff were friendly, but it took a while for our food to arrive, even though it wasn’t too busy. If you’re not in a rush, it’s still a nice place to relax and enjoy the view.
I’d definitely come back for the food, but hopefully, next time the service is a bit faster!

The location was welcoming, and the service and food were excellent. Please use the QR code to place your order. I find this setup convenient, although it may not offer traditional table service like some negative 1-star reviews 😁

Was disappointing that the toilet block across the road was being pressure washed for over 1 hour while us, and many other patrons, were trying to enjoy breakfast at 7:30am by the beach. If I managed this Cafe I would have told them to move the noisy petrol powered washer to the back of the toilet block.

Cannot fault this place at all and cannot wait to come back. The host was absolutely awesome from the moment we walked in to the moment we walked out. Im bad at remembering names lol but he was awesome alongside everyone else who served our table. The food was absolutely divine and the share drinks and cocktails were next level honestly cannot wait to come back thank you for the amazing service and amazing food and making my brothers birthdays an even more epic one ❤️
I paid $2 extra for poached eggs. I haven't seen a cafe charge extra for poached eggs before...somehow I feel this was a complete rip off. Just look at this sad, sad egg.. Toast was burnt too..

Absolute rubbish. We visited this shop on the International Burger Day, and the experience is awful.
If you see the photo, you can easily find the patties are still raw, and they stink. So are the chicken nuggets. Although you have put a lot of black pepper to cover the smell, but it doesn't work.
So I urge the customers to be careful with the food, please check before you eat.

We had a party over 20 people and everyone said they had spectacular food and service .. We will definitely come back again. Customer service was next level and really fast. Thanks for a great day and yummy food! :)
Absolutely loved it. The cocktails were all amazing!! The food platter included with our daybed package was fantastic (except the sushi wasn't the freshest). Great atmosphere and the volleyball area and slide were also so good. Loved it!
Had an amazing meal, happy hour cocktail, best burger I've had in a long time meat cooked perfectly, great ratios of sauce and items to meat and bun. Shout out to Kai our server he was amazing, so great with my kids and made the experience even more enjoyable with his fun attitude! Will go again definitely before we leave, visiting from NZ.

Lovely ramen place in Surfer's Paradise, with nice weekday lunch deals if you're looking for somewhere for lunch. Modern and clean inside, sat at the window benches which were comfy.
Ordered two ramen bowls, one vegetarian and one classic with nitamago, and two rice balls. Both were easy to order through the online menu (accessed by a QR code) and had a nice variety of customization for toppings, noodles and broth (saltiness and spiciness). Could even have the spicy sauce separate to easier get to my preferred spiciness which was great!

Noodle is good taste. Very similar to some local Ramen restaurants we had in Japan. First day we dined in it had been a pleasant experience but the next day’s takeaway is horrible. Took 20 minutes for one noodle. And the waitress doesn’t really care about you. When I’m challenging why they served all the dine in customer arrived later than us before we can get a single bowl takeaway, she just asked do you want to cancel? Worst attitude after you let your customer wait for such a long time. It’s busy but not super packed and you need to manage your customers expectations correctly. Let me know first especially I need to manage two young kids to wait together then we can have other choices. Good food but the worst attitude from waitress! Never order takeaway from this store.
I’ve got a very experienced here, the place was beautiful, clean and the ramen was so delicious. I was in Japan !!!!. I strongly recommend!!!!
The food and wine was incredible and we loved the char grilled fish and sides. More importantly the service by Godwin was exceptional. He wine selections especially the SA Zinfandel was outstanding. The atmosphere was so relaxing. Thank you Akoya and staff ❤️
Restaurant is due for a thorough clean and menu update. There was a supermarket shopping trolley visible from the outside seating, chips were reheated and unsalted and the nachos were swimming in oil and had no flavour in the mince meat. A very disappointing meal considering they are in a prime position.
Loved everything about this place. We went as a family on a quieter night and ordered a few things to try. That sharing platter was good value and YUM. Top tier burgers and shakes. Worth the money we spent. Would love to try the cocktails next.

We were attracted by the better value and more interesting menu compared to the nearby restaurant. The fish and chips was excellent and arrived very quickly but was fresh and crisp. The greek salad looked great . The turkish sandwich was tasty but small for our hungry male guest so we shared chips with him (there were loads with the fish and chips). The freshly made juice and mango smoothie were delicious. You can make up your own from a large selection of ingredients. The staff were friendly. Service was good. Dirty plates were cleared promptly. I felt they needed real plants on the tables as I hate plastic decorations but otherwise it was clean and fresh. The decor needs a frenchie update as it looks a bit tired. Would return for the high quality good value food and juice. I liked that they had lots of dog waterbowls.
We had the buffet breakfast. Good value especially if you have the Accor card. Not a huge variety on offer but enough to fill your belly. Continental style breakfast with pancakes, make your own toastie, some fruit, little muffins/donuts, etc. Basic hot bacon, scrambled eggs and beans. Basic coffee/tea urns or you can buy barista coffees. A lot of items needed refilling on the buffet with only 1 staff looking after it, and cleaning, taking money, etc. Hubby enjoyed it a lot more than me. The food was tasty enough. We will probably eat here again.

We had a lovely family birthday lunch at Akoya. Table was by the window looking over the beach, service was fantastic and food was lovely. I gave 4 star for food as Tuna & Steaks could be done a little better. My favourites were Cauliflower (amazing), bugs and then yellow beetroots. Overall it was lovely and will go back 😊
A little confusing with the number of options to order just one bowl of ramen. Honestly couldn't tell the difference between normal and soft ramen but both were fantastic. Fried chicken was good. Gyoza, average. The broth is fantastic.

My friends and I visited Bazaar QT Hotel restaurant for the breakfast buffet on the 28th of December, aiming to celebrate a special occasion. Despite pre-paying $49 per person and arriving slightly late due to traffic from Brisbane, our experience fell short of expectations.
Service and Seating:
We arrived at 9:45 am for our 9:30 am booking but were seated only at 9:55 am after explaining our delayed arrival. Although we informed the staff about celebrating a birthday, the communication seemed lacking.
Food Selection and Timing: The buffet lacked variety and seemed limited, perhaps due to our arrival closer to the closing time. After making attempts to get food, the kitchen informed us of closure without prior notice. Basic items like orange juice and fruits were unavailable, leaving us dissatisfied.
Manager Interaction:
While expressing our disappointment to the manager, initially, there was a lack of resolution. However, later on, the manager made efforts to rectify the situation by offering a bottle of champagne and waffles with candles for the birthday celebration. This gesture was appreciated but couldn't compensate entirely for the unsatisfactory experience.
Overall Experience:
The unavailability of communicated closing times, unhelpful staff, and malfunctioning air conditioning added to our dissatisfaction. Despite the manager's efforts to rectify, it wasn't enough to change our decision not to revisit. Considering the distance traveled from Brisbane, our expectations were not met, especially when other options like Sofitel in Brisbane offer comparable experiences at the same price.

It was ok but one thing, my daughter tasted a bit funny from milk so my husband told the counter about it and they said the expiry date is still ok they don't know why and brought my daughter a little pack of milk. The next day breakfast was ok without any problem.
Quite dissatisfied with the limited food variety, insufficient to accommodate the influx of people. Lacked any Christmas atmosphere, yet an additional 15% charge was applied. Female staff appeared consistently displeased when approached for assistance, while the male staff exhibited more attentiveness and effort. I do not recommend trying Hilton's breakfast

The food was well prepared and presented, the service was exceptional. We had a wonderful waiter who was clearly an empath. Ryden was engaging, kind and thorough. A perfect way to celebrate our wedding anniversary!
$95 was wasted at Bazzar QT Gold Coast. The food tasted like it had been reheated several times. It was bland, lacking freshness and minimal choice. The highlight re dishes was the prawn and chicken dumplings - but I could’ve bought dumplings of same quality for far less.
Service was fantastic - but unfortunately, food variety and quality was below average. Really, disappointed - heard and read good reviews about Bazaar buffet but unfortunately, overall, we didn’t enjoy it.

We had our staff Xmas party at this venue last night, Jason was our chef and he was amazing. Food was fantastic and we all left very full. A great night was had by all of our workers and their families. Thanks for your service

Wonderful dining experience! Every dish was delicious. I would have taken more pics but just wanted to enjoy every minute of our evening. My favourite was the baked salmon. Excellent large selection of hot and cold dishes and desserts too just yum. We will be back. Highly recommend

Classic ramen with nitamago has a creamy broth, pork flavour is not the richest available in the region. Noodle firmness is customisable as well as soup oiliness and spiciness. Only 2 slices of thin chaashuu come with this dish but you can pay extra for additional slices, also extra noodles (kaedama) is available at extra cost. Beer is not available at this particular location.
This place used to be amazing, now they discriminate against cash, only have very minimal hot food and still charge top dollar. Go across the road to the pit stop service amazing

What an experience! My husband and I are celebrating our marriage and was gifted with a good time out at this amazing restaurant. I didn’t know what to expect but I was well and truly blown away!
Amazing food and cocktails, and our Chef was hilarious! My cheeks hurt from laughing so much. The service was impeccable, and they even brought out cute little cakes with a candle for us to blow out, it was a nice touch.

Hotel breakfast buffet. Have every breakfast variety + ice cream. You can order hot or cold coffee, they serve to your table.
Pure indulgence for seafood lovers at this buffet. For those who don't there are more than substantial variety of meals to choose from. Make sure you leave enough room for all the beautiful desserts.
This is a teppanyaki restaurant so it’s never going to be a cheap option for eating. However, here you money goes a long way. Firstly as you enter you notice the atmosphere to have a genuine Japanese feel to it, complete with the sounds of other guests laughing and cheering as their chef dazzles them with his juggling and dexterity whilst cooking fabulous food. Secondly having booked a sitting the staff are there ready to take you to your table, where they hand you a very comprehensive menu which is easy to follow, and includes a huge drinks menu. The food quality is superbly fresh and tasty and is continually cooked and delivered to your plate. One of the best Teppanyaki restaurants I have visited outside of Japan.
I have been going to Akoya seafood buffet for any family event this year and you clearly cannot find a better buffet in Gold Coast. Even without lobsters, I am well satisfied with their quality steaks, oysters, and bugs!

Really awful food that was burnt and over salted, badly presented and all in all not worth the plate. Chefs knew how to have a hit rate of throwing food into peoples mouths 40% of the time. Lighting alcohol on fire and dropping their tools and laughing it off. One menu for food and one for alcohol which they push often and regularly. When asking for water they offered still or sparkling when I said normal water they disdainfully said tap water quite loudly. I can see why they would write their messages in salt, it’s a chef special. Lots of children crying, breaking things and generally just bang things around trying to copy the “chefs”. Give this one a miss.

Seafood and desserts were the highlight of the buffet. The seafood was fresh and plentiful. They had oysters, scallops, prawn, crab, bugs and sashimi. Lots of dessert varieties too, and they were not overwhelming sweet (the way I like it!).
I also really enjoyed their baked salmon in the hot section. The other hot food were ok, but overall the variety and freshness was very good!

Atmosphere is ok, but the dinner buffet not worth the price $95 nothing to eat here, the seafood was not looking fresh too, got a choice better go Star buffet, other dishes was taste average, can be improve, Hope can get lobster or crab next visit even increase price or frozen also can be accepted cuz it is buffet so will be understanding even frozen food, the dessert is lots choice, will try book next time when visit. If still the same dishes then gonna said bye to Bazaar. Thanks n appreciate.

I expressed my concerns to the staff as soon as it arrived and they couldn't care less.
My daughter had pancakes with a rotten banana's.
We sat near the kitchen and noticed all the no brand cans lined up on the shelf.
This is the quality ingredients/food they use and yet the cafe is charging top dollar for it.
Honest, do yourself a favour and keep walking.

Very limited breakfast buffet. No bacon....only scrambled eggs cereal and usual continental choices. Coffee was awful - tastes like they use UHT milk. Won't be back even though Suncity Mantra is a fav stay.
Our first time experiencing Teppanyaki - and it was amazing. The chef is so talented and entertaining. We went for lunch (around noon) and we are vegetarians but they didn’t disappoint. They gave us some miso soup and salad to begin and then we ordered some veg teppanyaki and some veg udon noodles. The veggies and Tofu was super delicious. Udon noodles were slightly sweet for my liking but my husband liked it - so guess it is a preference. Overall it was a great experience.
We had the dinner buffet. The restaurant was well set out, spacious, clean and modern. The food was great, wide variety, seafood was fresh and if you love seasoning/sauces they have lots for you to choose from. Also the desserts were very nice, I’m not a sweet tooth but the crème brûlée was a big Yes. If you have no dietary requirements, this is definitely worth a visit, we came out way too full and very impressed

We visited Citrique during our stay. We were staying at another hotel but so glad we came to this restaurant. We opted for the three course option for $89 each which we felt was very good value for the standard of food. We did not need to order any sides as the portion sizes were good. My husband is coeliac and there were enough GF options on the menu to cater for his dietary needs.

We also had some pre dinner drinks in the bar situated next to the restaurant and each of the cocktails we had were extremely good and delicious.

Top notch restaurant, recommended by our friends. Excellent service and great food. So much and so full at the end of the imperial banquet. We also ordered sashimi platter and oysters. I'm not usually an Oyster eater but I really love the ones from here no metallic taste at all. Great atmosphere the chefs make the ambience fun. You pay for the excellent service and food, great for occasions. Thank you we will come back again!

Everything at Catch was amazing but I would definitely have to say that the highlight of it all was Cathy’s service and her wonderful contagious smile! The ramen with soft boiled egg is delicious! The broth is not too salty which i loved ! You can also choose the firmness of your ramen which i was really impressed. Highly recommended!

Easter weekend and the staffs delivery was; Professional, accommodating, thoughtful, informative and so welcoming. The restaurant was clean, spacious and so well organised, the food was amazing and so fresh! We were checked in on, plates were taken when needed. Thank you, we will definitely be coming back! We popped in for dinner and didn't need a booking - we sat in the sushi bar section at the front as we just wanted a casual meal. We ordered tempura prawns, mixed sashimi and torched salmon nigiri. Everything was amazingly fresh and tasty and the food was made right in front of us. Would definitely recommend this restaurant. Our waiter was lovely too. The aircon is a bit fresh, take a cardigan
Decided to come in for breakfast, last time we were here was like 6-7yrs ago.. not much has changed the menu is.. well breakfast menu. Good service when we walked in, we were shown around and bang we were at our table ready to eat. Service for tables being cleared was good aswell. Enjoyed what was on for breakfast eggs bacon mushrooms Jarlsberg cheese touch of cold meats hollandaise sauce poached eggs sourdough bread etc.Those were just some foods of the buffet. There is another station that does omelettes the way you want it with fillings. Pastry on offer is plenty and in variety and tasty! drinks range from flavoured milks to fruit flavoured juices and coffees of course. Overall I haven't had breakfast like this since the sizzler days, which by the way sizzlers menu for breakfast buffet wasn't too far off to bazaars menu but at a lower cost. Anyway me and family enjoyed our experience here as well the breakfast food buffet. Good to know that after 6-7yrs since the last time we were here service and food is still very good.
We have visited Misono a number of times and they always deliver. In previous visits we chose to sit at the Teppan Yaki tables and enjoy the show, but this time we chose a la carte and sat at the sushi bar. The service was great and the sushi chef who has been at the restaurant for 26 years is a fun time. He even took our photo. Check out this beauty of a sushi roll (my wife’s favorite spicy tuna roll) is next level. And we ordered the Teppan seafood extravaganza which was delicious. Terrific sake menu and an amazing atmosphere. You won’t be disappointed!!
Misono made the night Amazing! Went in for dinner with my husband, fresh Sashimi and the teppanyaki portions were huge! Experienced a great service and an entertaining chef throughout the entire meal. Definitely will be back again.
10/10, best Seafood buffet in Surfers Paradise. Loads of options as you can see in attached photos. I fully recommend the bugs, must have had 12 of them! Oysters were fresh and clean too, the sushi was great too, really enjoyed the seafood. Roasted meats and other meat dishes were on par too, great quality.

This is the best brunch we’ve had in Gold Coast. The venue is very considerate about dietary requirements and staff (Billie specially) helped us identifying all halal items. Loved it and highly recommended.

We've now ordered delivery twice and have been super happy each time. The price is much fairer than the other Ramen places that offer delivery. The ramen itself is delicious and the way it's packaged up to arrive fresh is fantastic. Honestly can't fault it!

Excellent food, our Comliments to the chef ,Great service, thank you Cristian, lovely Atmosphere,and reasonably priced, and all this at Mantra Sun City Resort, where even if you are not driving ,or chose not to drive , the tram stops right at the Resort. The 4 of us ordered 4 different steaks, differently cooked , and all four of us were speechless,when we tasted it. Even our friend who use to be a chef owning a restaurant in Sydney and was also working on ships , was very comlimenting ! Thank you Koastal Kitchen , we all look forward to our new visit and tasting all the menu.
I was unbelievabley impressed. The staff were incredibly friendly, helpful and overall great to chat with. It was my partner's birthday and they fulfilled my request of a special night. They went above and beyond to make the night special. The food was to die for. We had the gnocchi for entree and then steak and chicken for mains with a pear salad and chips. They then brought out this wonderful chocolate dessert as a surprise. I will be recommending this place to all my family and friends.
Was fortunate to spend a quiet dinner at Catch located in the Hilton. Service was excellent and my waitress was well versed in matching drinks with food. Decided in favor for the 3 course set meal. The entree Calamari was perfectly cooked, pan seared Barramundi with green vegetables, served with broth was a perfectly balanced main course and finally the Chocolate Brownie capped off a awesome dinner. Complementary still water and a side dish was an added bonus. A very memorable evening.
Nice food and prepared reasonably quick. Lovely staff , we ordered chicken parmesan and was brought to our room, the chicken was cooked well how ever the chips and salad was quite small. Could get same thing at pub for less cost bigger portion. Though it was nice and convenient.
Very chill and nice place to have dinner. Ordered the sirloin 350g for $32, came with bacon, spinach and potato. They cooked it really nicely and generally I don't like steak cause they're usually a hit and miss (either too dry or overcooked) but this one was cooked to my liking and really tender and definitely medium rare. Also had the seafood basket, fish was nice, batter was great. Greek salad was nice too but maybe a bit too small portion. Most important was the customer service. We had a really nice waitress and she made sure everything went well. Saw that I gave my partner some steak and came running with another steak knife. We really enjoyed our dinner here.
Got to the catch restaurant early, so headed to the bar. Tried to get served at the bar but gave up after 10 mins. Only 2 other folks there... whole experience wasn’t the greatest, especially for the price. Food was average but cooked well. Would not recommend for the food we had. The style and ambiance of the restaurant was great though. Staff friendly and serviced well.
