Ramen Danbo Surfers Paradise

Lovely ramen place in Surfer's Paradise, with nice weekday lunch deals if you're looking for somewhere for lunch. Modern and clean inside, sat at the window benches which were comfy.

Ordered two ramen bowls, one vegetarian and one classic with nitamago, and two rice balls. Both were easy to order through the online menu (accessed by a QR code) and had a nice variety of customization for toppings, noodles and broth (saltiness and spiciness). Could even have the spicy sauce separate to easier get to my preferred spiciness which was great!

Staff were polite and helpful, everything we ordered came out quickly and correctly.

Noodle is good taste. Very similar to some local Ramen restaurants we had in Japan. First day we dined in it had been a pleasant experience but the next day’s takeaway is horrible. Took 20 minutes for one noodle. And the waitress doesn’t really care about you. When I’m challenging why they served all the dine in customer arrived later than us before we can get a single bowl takeaway, she just asked do you want to cancel? Worst attitude after you let your customer wait for such a long time. It’s busy but not super packed and you need to manage your customers expectations correctly. Let me know first especially I need to manage two young kids to wait together then we can have other choices. Good food but the worst attitude from waitress! Never order takeaway from this store.

I’ve got a very experienced here, the place was beautiful, clean and the ramen was so delicious. I was in Japan !!!!. I strongly recommend!!!!

The quality of the food and price are definitely not worth it!!! Dont come.
Very poor service, customer has to order and pick up water all by ourselves. What's staff for??? Very few choice of ramen. Gyoza are the worst taste I've ever had. And waiting time was toooo long for a bowl ramen.

A little confusing with the number of options to order just one bowl of ramen. Honestly couldn't tell the difference between normal and soft ramen but both were fantastic. Fried chicken was good. Gyoza, average. The broth is fantastic.

Classic ramen with nitamago has a creamy broth, pork flavour is not the richest available in the region. Noodle firmness is customisable as well as soup oiliness and spiciness. Only 2 slices of thin chaashuu come with this dish but you can pay extra for additional slices, also extra noodles (kaedama) is available at extra cost. Beer is not available at this particular location.

The ramen with soft boiled egg is delicious! The broth is not too salty which i loved ! You can also choose the firmness of your ramen which i was really impressed. Highly recommended!
