We just got a puppy, we have now been a few times. Great dog park, although one man who brought his dog onto the big dog side watched his Jack Russel attack our puppy, and other big dogs. he just stood there watching and not trying to stop his dog attacking others, causing 3 of us dog owners to leave. As we got into our car, we watched the old man move himself and the Jack Russel over to the small dog side.

Some people shouldn’t take their dogs to places if they’re not able to be social with other dogs.
Lovely setting and good for walking dogs but useless if there for any length of time. NO PUBLIC TOILETS. Nowhere in the entire estate. Presumably they think everyone who uses the reserve lives there and can just go home. It may as well be a gated community. It certainly doesn't welcome the public.
Other dogs we have encountered have all been friendly.

Such a beautiful spot for off leash area. Plenty of parking, undercoaver area and a playground for the kids.

My dog Ioves this park! It is a very large fenced dog park with plenty of room for them to roam free whilst being contained. Sometimes the grass can be a bit long so it can make it difficult to spot the poop when you go to collect but I haven’t noticed it being a huge issue. Note there is a dip in the middle which is muddy when wet so just be aware if you wish to keep your dog clean.
Love this beautiful park! So much space for the pups to run and everyone’s dogs are normally friendly and well socialised.
Not returning. It was going to be a good option for when I visit near by but isn't mowed often.
Hot tip: Theres a group of women of doodle owners who claim it. Awful passive attitude to anyone shouting instructions to their dogs, irritated if your dog goes near them sitting in their low picnic chairs, yet their dogs can get all over you and in the face of your dog.
Great spot for BBQ,small playground
This is an odd dog park. There is no fencing whatsoever, so if you have a dog with poor recall it can just take off up the road. Otherwise, it is a nice little spot. When the tide is out, the mud flats are exposed for more playing room. Stairs to get down aren't well maintained, and you can hurt your feet and your pets. Shower is available to rinse you and your dogs. Seating up on the grassed area, walking footpath is well travelled.
Its nice and big, not too over packed the times i have gone but the only reason i gave 4 stars is because the few times i have been the grass has been overgrown which isnt great for my dogs. A lot of equipment for them though, also has exercise equipment for the humans and a playground not far from the dogs for the kids. Overall a nice spot!
Great place for a nature walk. Pathway around the area. Part of the walk is around a huge playing field where you can kick the ball around with the kids. Toilets and parking available.
Great big fenced dog park separating small dog and big dogs. Love it. So many things provided like poop bags, tennis balls, bucket and little swimming pool pond. Best park I’ve discovered in GC.
Needs more grass and seating in the enclosed dog area. Dog poo bags as last few times visited there were not any and could also do with more drinking equipment.
The best dog park so far!
2 x FENCED area! Small and big doggies zone.
Clean. There are small scalloped water pools
Kids play ground is right next to it.
Fun local dog park. Fenced off. You get more big dogs than small dogs here.

A muddy beach and nothing to go on at high tide. Still worth the trip if you’re local or want something different.

Be sure to bring insect repellent.
Easy to get to, safe and fun for the dogs, amenities for the people - toilets nearby, shaded area to sit, bins, easy parking.

Big dog park, separated area for small and big dogs. Very nice!
Flooding
Great off leash park but the council need to empty the 1 bin that is often full, I have contacted the council regarding this issue maybe they need to add another bin
URGENT!
Both of our dogs are now in emergency surgery from what look like Chemical/Friction burns. Please be extremely careful when taking your fur babies to this dog park. Formal complaint with pictures have been made

Great, wide open for the dog to run in. Unfortunately, it's not the best after mowing.

Poorly maintained, basic park, single seat, water bubbler, overgrown grass, no bags. Park nearby better play area 😔
A large fenced space for your pooch to run free and play with 4 legged friends.
Nice park well equipped for the dog owner and a nearby playground for the kids.
Nice park for pet, kids, families and parties.
Gold Coast City Council provides lovely spaces for your 4 legged babies to explore and exercise and enjoy 🤗

This is a plea to everyone who uses these areas

Please pick up your dog's poop

You know when you accidentally stand on some and it's next level vomit 🤢

We deal with it constantly!

And when whipper-snappering we get your dog poop all over our body, in our faces up our nose and in our hair and in our mouths!

I'll be asking for hefty fines and CCTV cameras put in all parks around the Gold Coast so we can do our job without get sick from dog poop parasites

It's really simple hey!!

If your dog takes a dump, pick it up lazy people 🙄😮‍💨
George loves this place, it's a fantastic local facility. We're looking forward to the water park they have planned for this park.

Nice dog park. Secure, large, clean. My dogs live it.
Plenty of room for lots of dogs. Same as everywhere we go, some people don't clean up after their dogs! We are there for our dogs, how hard is it to watch them and clean up after they pooh!
This is a very spacious dog park with agility equipment and a water fountain. There is a bin and plastic bag dispenser by the main gate.

The only issue is that there is no fence to divide the small or big dogs so there's a high chance of a dog fight if you don't watch your fur baby carefully while they're off leash. Some of the other dogs are reactive / aggressive and their owners still allow them off leash.

There are no toilets for humans. There's two tables, and a few benches.

Great fenced dog park! So much room to run, beautiful setting, one of our new favourites!
We took a walk to the dog off leash park and around the eatate, and the sun was shining, the air was clear and fresh and it was very peaceful

Love this Dog Park, the park has large grassed areas for our furry friends to run freely to exersise and meet other dog. They can bark and run and have fun without car noise and traffic. It's near water and has children's playground. Easy access and street parking available. Our cavalier loves it.
Beautiful parklands - some areas off-lead and some on-lead - so pay attention to the signs.

Only one water fountain, over in the on-lead area near the parking, bbq and shaded seating areas.

Most shade is only found around the edges, so you may want to take your own water. Also, the off-lead area is large but unfenced - care should be taken.
Great spot for the kids and dogs to have a run and play. Even when we don't have our dogs down there, I love watching all of the other dogs! You can see the happiness on all their faces! Great view's! Nice and calm waters, we love it when it's clean! Most locals wish it would be maintained regularly to remove the dead and stinking sea grass that accumulates there. But it's currently at its best! Crystal clear water and not much weed!
I have gone to this park with my dog numerous of times and it has always been a good experience.
Yesterday we went again but I was extremely put off by the dirtiness of the dog beach area.
There was jellyfish washed on shore, bottles of plastic bottles floating by the shoreline and to top it off, a dead (stiffen) rat by the rock area, poking out.
I felt sick seeing all this and probably won't be going back anytime soon.
This is a cool place for dawgs! Our three love it here and it’s shallow enough for puppies to learn their strokes. Naturally friendly people (cause they’re dawg owners!). Definitely worth checking out 🐶🐶🐶
Amazing for everyone and their dogs, there is a beautiful lake where dogs can swim. Dogs allowed in the fenced park but also off leash around it.
Great dog exercise place in nice park, Frascott Park. Lots of car park spaces, two separate exercise erea.

Nice space, good tree shade, reasonable fencing with 2 safe entry gates & internal safe entry to small dogs area. Lovely surrounding parklands, good lighting
Not the largest area, but well fenced and has a few options for training (tunnel, jumps, hoop). It also has fresh water, a single seat for humans and some bins. Not much to complain about.
Our goto off leash dog park. Almost always have a excellent experience. The place gets busy, so pick your best time slot. There are small & large dog, fenced off leash areas.
Great place for the dog's and kids, especially at high tide
Considering its a dog park you'd think one of the richest councils in oz would be more in touch with doggy nèeds and have a tap with a short hose like the Spit to wash your dog. Ridiculous wasting money on useless low taps and stainless dog drinking attachments!!!

A decent sized dog park if a bit steep, windy and muddy in wet weather. The overall park itself however is an excellent sniffari with lots of bushes and trees.

Awesome park for our fur friends! There’s always friendly dogs & owners to socialise with. The park is split into two (small & big dog area). There’s plenty of space, shade, water stations & benches to sit on.
This is a free place for dogs, especially those with strong energy, because there is a large area here, mainly grass and trees, which are completely closed. The dog will not run away. However, if you do not stare at the dog, it will run far away, so that you will go to the forest to find the dog. However, you will never lose the dog. I like it very much. I often bring dogs to play.

It's a well maintained area with nice walking paths, but almost all of it is just open space. It's winter now and it is already hot for the dogs, cannot imagine how hot it is in summer. Not many trees, just an oval you walk around. The views are great though.
This park is fully fenced and very serene and secluded. When you enter, it is through a double gate which is great! One bin at the entrance so be sure to bring your bags back to the front. Even in the pouring rain there were nice grassy patches and muddy areas my two dogs loved.

Successfully got the two into the agility course as well!

There are a few park benches to sit on surrounded by huge trees and more space than expected. There is also a drinking tap and dog tap. Really glad to find this spot!

Always on the lookout for dog friendly walks. It's a bonus if they are by the water. Paved footpaths throughout which makes this ideal for all assessibility levels. Feels like a different walk every time. It was low tide on this ocassion. Almost guaranteed you'll see other people walking their dogs if you come during the day. One of our favourite spots to walk. It's been really well maintained. Shout out to the council we saw a worker on a leaf blower and another one planting trees. I noticed the stairs have since been replaced. Lots of toilets, parking spots and ideal for water activities such as boating and fishing. Sometimes, our dog goes for a swim on hot days.
Our baby chihuahua loves it. She runs like a little rat that owns the place even when the grass was high due to flood. Scares the big friendly furries with her mouth🤦🏾‍♀️
Currently this park is being renovated by the council. It’s small in stature but has great potential. The expected completion date is April 22 but the recent torrential rain has delayed the progress significantly. The walking path that goes past it is still great for a walk in the meantime to go around the river banks!

A wonderful park to let dogs run around and meet other dogs. Gets muddy after rain but the dogs love it. One part is for small dogs and the other for large dogs. There is water available on both sides and trees with shade for owners to mingle✨🐶
Very large park, well maintained. Always a few dogs there so ours gets a good run. Doggy bags and water always available. Richie likes it, 4 paws up.
The old parklands dog track and gold coast show grounds. Massive off leash dog park and walking tracks with lots of natural bushland and huge open grassy fields great place to get lost for a few hours.

At the south east corner of Five Dock Park, next to the skateboard area, are two enclosed sections for large and small dogs respectively to roam off-leash. It is a fabulous facility with seats for owners, fresh water supply, and poo bags/bins. Highly recommended for dogs of all sizes.
Beautiful place but possibly broken glass at storm water drian. My staffy has cut the pads of his feet and other bad cuts
Best dog park on the coast. We are weekend warriors at this park, never miss a day. Our 2 dog LOVE it! Always so well maintained. Everyone is mostly very friendly.
I was impressed by the layout of this park as each dog type has its own fenced off area. Small and elderly dogs, separated from the bigger breeds., Plenty of space to let loose, water bowls, friendly people to meet.( When I was there)
Awesome place for some exercise at this off leash dog friendly park, the location has big open grassed areas which are perfect for picnics or kicking a football around, the park is open 24/7 which is great because night time is the best time to appreciate the city skyline and take some great photos.

Friendly dogs and owners alike. Balls are scattered everywhere if your bestfriend loves fetch. Just be aware of the digging holes as some have gotten halfway knee deep.

Amazing place to take your dog. Water stations and a separated big & small dog yard. So lucky to have this close by, especially during lockdown
As far as off leash areas go this one rates very poorly. There is always an abundance of dog poo left behind by walkers and owners. The gate is usually broken, the poo bags are always empty and the poo bin is always full and rarely emptied. It's as if the council set the park then forgot it exists. The choice of tree for shade indicates a lack of foresight typically only found with children as the pine tree drips sap and mattes into the fur of the dogs. The roots create trip hazards and the dogs chew on the cones. Frankly I'd rather drive to the dog park in Ashfield which is in a different council than walk 5 min to this park for which I pay through council rates.
The mini, dog agility park, not so much. But the lake and the surrounding off leash dog area was perfect for a little doggie paddle followed by a walk under the incredible pine trees.

Beautiful sunny day. I ate my lunch and read a book amidst people walking for exercise, families with children on bikes and scooters and people walking their dogs. Not to mention the breeze rippling through the branches and birds tweeting. So peaceful on this second day of Covid lockdown in Sydney.
Great fenced space for dog to play and run.
Great Dog park, loved the terrain and the fact that it is completely fenced off. The mud puddle in one area could use some sand to dry it out. I have small dogs and prefer a park that is small dogs only but it was still great with lots of space so the dogs had room and the big dogs did not bother them.
Easy parking , friendly dogs and owners. Very large fenced area. Would like a few agility exercises I.e. tunnels, ramps etc
Quiet little spot to let my pup run free. Water available for pups in the corner. Large tree for shade with 1 seat underneath.

Great dog park with heaps of space. Has a water fountain for dogs and people, double gate entry and benches.

It closed for a year or so due to asbestos being discovered and now the park is so much better. Used to be mostly dirt so it would turn into mudpools in the rain and dogs would get filthy plus alot of trees were damaged or unhealthy. The tap was always surrounded by a pool of water.

NOW the dog park has new trees planted so there isn't much shade get but they look well looked after. All grass except a few small dirt patches which is inevitable. New water fountain wastes less water and has concrete paving underneath to stop flooding. Beautiful park, so happy to see how it's changed.

Great park for dogs. There is a separate small dog and separate large dog park. Both have water stations. Entrances are double gated for safety. There is seating as well. Bins outside for number 2s.

Good location, next to basketball court, skate Park, tennis court and fields.

Beautiful to walk around the river and let the dogs play in the off lead area.
It's not the biggest dog park but it has all the amenities we need such as play area, water and doggy bags and bin. There's also a nice park walk. Puppy is very happy here. Highly recommend.
Great place to take your dog especially if your dog is new to the idea
Great off leash dog area complete with a fenced in section for some focused training. The fenced area also contains a few agility obstacles which our dog loved!
Has toilets, bbq, shaded seats and spot for dogs to swim
I love this dog park!!! And so does my dog. Lots of other friendly puppers there for him to play with. Really tires him out so he sleeps soundly at night. Good to be separated from bigger dogs. There is a big crew of dachshunds which is very cute!!!!

The council need to look at the current state of the entire park, it's completely overrun with weeds and the dog park turf itself desperately needs attention. Good fencing and they've made an effort to replace the trees that were there before, it's the turf that needs addressing, and tree protection.
Grass hasn't been mowed for quite some time. Grass was taller than my Shih Tzu!
It's a hidden gem, but becoming more popular. The tide does go a long way out, bit you can then go exploring. There are muddy patches, but overall it is very walkable when the tide is out. Lots of friendly locals, and great for kids as the water is usually calm and shallow
Average dog park, great size but not much amenities. Best thing about this park is the great dogs and owners. Really friendly people and a great little dog community here.
It's a great place to take your dog to and let them socialize with other off leash dogs. A very big and long enclosed area with a few dog training obstacles. 95% of dogs that you meet here are friendly and play well with others. A Great Place For The POOCH!!
The reason we live in the area! Beautiful parklands on the shore of Rozelle Bay that are much loved by the inner West's furry citizens (and their humans). The park is connected to Annandale village by Johnston Creek, and also extends around to blackwattle bay as far as Sydney fish market.
Awesome dog park. HUGE space to run around in. It gets busy but the size means you can mingle or find your own space. The entire area is fenced, well maintained, water bowls for the dogs. If your furry mate is a swimmer, the dams are not fenced so you might want to bring a towel or be prepared to run around to dry off. All the people that go their seem really nice. Good place to bring kids as most people are respectful of the rules and keep their dogs away from the play area.
Great large fenced park for the doggies! Whilst park needs some extra TLC like, we are here twice a day regardless ! Great people to chat to in the morning and afternoon - nice community feel !
The dog park is back in operation. Fenced and new water fountain for dogs and humans. Unfortunately, they took out the mature trees, so shade is at a premium. Grass is quite thick at the moment.
Great! Our dog struggles with recall when he's excited so it felt safe just being isolated to the walkway. Think boardwalk with no where to escape. It's not closed and they could run off but it's very long so unlikely
Small beach area is just enough for dog swims but a good start to being dog friendly.
Would be nice if there was a little more shade, & even better if there was a fenced area for dogs whose recall is a bit lacking... but does the job, & the water isn't too stinky when the tide is going out.
Great Park, my Kelpie loved it. She got to swim, chase ball and mix with other dogs. Few extra bins so that the idiots could put the poo that they bothered to bag but then left behind. Park isn't great for ball chasing but fields are near by.
What a great area for the puppers, lots of places to explore, if you have a water baby it is particularly amaaazing
Take your pooch down here for a run around the large open area. Off the lead one side, cross the bridge and lead on. Lots of activity, walk, run, cycle along the bay or watch the world go by. Watch out where you walk as sometimes owners don't always pick up their dogs mess which is disappointing. Great park otherwise
Dog free leash park is clean, there's map to show you where the dog can be off leash, but sad that not very much dogs in the area, or people. I've only encountered 1 so far, not sure if i'm heading at the dog park in the wrong time or there's not much people take their dogs in the area. I was hoping to meet more dogs in the area.
I take my dog to this park every morning. My dog likes the other dogs, & I like the other owners. It has plenty of space if you want to avoid anything & is not fenced into big dog & small dog areas which I like as some owners have both big & small dogs & it's good for dogs to meet all the different shapes & sizes of other dogs. One entrance isn't double gated but if it was I give the park 5 stars.
