The park is fenced, grass is kept well, but not much for the dogs to do, parking is lacking and water is outside the fenced area but the park close, convenient and keeps me fit, running around with the dogs :)
Went looking for the nearest fenced dog park to me. Our local one still has fences down after the Christmas Day tornado. This one also currently has all the fences down as well. It looks like they’re working on it though. There’s a few rolls of fencing wire ready to go and the old fence is in the skip. It looks like a gorgeous spot. Water for dogs is outside the boundary if they put the fence back in the same spot. There’s a half court, playground and toilets as well as seating in the dog park area. Look forward to coming back even before the fence is redone.
Binstead Way dog park is a quite little spot to take your dog. People here are friendly and usually are no problems.
Great little dog park, very hidden. Google took me toward Gaven when following directions but it's actually by the little park and basketball courts, across from Coles there on Binstead Way.
The Google maps directions take you into the middle of no where. The park on google photos is on a different street and we couldn't see a fenced dog park
Could be better maintained. Grass is usually always too long and sparse in patches. Bin is right next to the gate and is always smelly - not sure how often it is emptied. Only one bench to sit and its so high you need to jump to get up on it. Badly planned. A couple extra benches would be good at a normal height. Also no parking anywhere close. Can't park on the road as there is a deep drain running along it so you can't cross it. Have to walk upto the intersection and around. Not good for mobility impaired. Only good thing is its not frequented too often so we often have the park to ourselves.
Good size and one bench seat, but no parking... (seems like a little carpark could be easily added though). Water available but it's outside the gate.
A very nice dog park. Water available outside the fenced area.
Awesome first time off leash, Did really well. I wish people would be responsible and pick up after their dogs though. Hope there's CCTV so the people with dogs off leash in the main park get into trouble
Pocket handkerchief, so small and hidden so far back from the main park, ignore the pics, it has nothing to do with the area you take your dog. No signs to guide you, and it is not in view when you arrive, you have to find it. Boring. Whomever designed this was not a dog lover. We pay for this privilege, Council should do so much more.
Nice quiet dog park very close to home & good size for my pups to run around, bit smaller than others but suits us fine. Nice pet owners too.
Its nice and tidy but often quiet so my dog gets bored quickly
loved this park. a nice walkway where my daughter loved riding her bicycle. not many people so pleasent walk too. dog area is fenced so not a worry for others. 👍
Nice quite dog park. Friendly people
Quiet and small dog park would be better if they fenced the area next to it
Needs water, A mow & parking for dog area
