Excellent, but very small dog park and beach. Great if your dog likes a swim. 100 mtrs away is a huge dog park which runs along the beach and is 1 km long. Lots of friendly people and dogs when I visited.
Love this dog park. It has a separate area for small dog and big dogs. My boy has made friends here and the dog parents are friendly too.
Went for the first time with little dogs. There was a big dog in the small dog area. They left before we entered. Not a big area and no cover. A tree or 2 would be great. Went for a walk outside the park. Came back and another big dog in the small dog area even though there were no dogs in the big dog area. Went into the big dog area for 1 last walk and there was so much dog poop everywhere. Its a small area people. How can you not see your dog doing their business???? Pick up your dog's poop for goodness sake. So disrespectful to other dog park attendees who do the right thing. Seriously!! There's no view obstructions anywhere so no excuse!!
It's a big place too bring my dog too let them run without a leash ..so Chilled here

Good park, great amount of grass and 2 completely separate areas (no shared fence) for small and large dogs. Parking is on mulch which is a little nerve-wracking. No trees within the park or any shaded areas which can make it a little uncomfortable on warm days. 1 bench provided for seating, with a bin and doggy bags. Some agility equipment is in each and are sturdy.

Park is well maintained with grass at a good level and covering the area well. Fences are in good condition, and users seem good at picking up after their dogs.

Accessibility is difficult due to the nature of the 2 gate system and its smaller size - Mobility aids may get stuck inside the space. Access from the parking area (which is mulch) to the pavement is hindered by lack of connectivity.

The road that the park is located on is not a main road which means traffic noise and numbers is minimal, making this a lovely and quiet space to take your dogs. The water fountain works and provides water for both dogs and humans alike. The dog bowl tips so it is easy to empty and clean for fresh water.

Nice long open beach. Great for dogs to run.
Fantastic place for your furry friend. The grounds are big enough for dogs to run freely and securely. There are separate sections for small and big dogs with lot of hurdles for dogs to remain engaged.

I love the layout, size and features of this park, it is top compared to the dog park in my previous location. The only issue I have is with the dog owners that do not clean up after their dogs. I've been to several dog parks and this one was the worst for owners cleaning up. It is a shame because I thought this area would be cleaner especially since the dog park provides bags to pick up after your pets in case you forget yours.

Otherwise the park, benches, ramps and fountains are kept in great condition.

Took my dogs down there first thing this morning. Usually we go later in the day but not today. I got my dogs out of the car. The large dog side had two Rottweilers in. These are regulars and we were told by the owners that the Rottweilers don’t mix. We went to go in the other park where there was a man with a white dog and a brown dog who told me I couldn’t go in there because his dog wasn’t friendly. Rather than cause a scene we left.
The signs distinctly say if your dog is not friendly or sociable not to use the park. They are for everyone in the community. Not selfish owners with nasty dogs.
large clean area with agility obstacles and fresh water. no trees for shade or sniffing adventures, no bushes to keep the nose busy, no sand. just a large square sectioned off grass area for dogs to be off lead.

Good beach. Quiet. Plenty of room. Doggy bags and bins available. Just needs a tap/shower at both entry points
Great running space for my dogs. Water and poo bags
Good place for dogs. Poo bags and water bowls were available.
Major problem, poop all over the place. Both entrances had rolls of bags to collect your dog's droppings.
Someone had even bagged the poop then left it on one of the seats. They would have walked past a bin no matter which exit they took.
No trees or shade, so very hot, even at 930 am.
Council had signs up about black snakes being seen in the park, so i wasnt comfortable letting my dog loose as she wanted to head to the grass plants all around the border.
No toilets for hoomans. Stayed for no more than five minutes then took the dog down to Harrington Park lake. Much more fun for both the dog and I.
I've been a few times, and the grass is always long. It's just concerning because there alot of bushes in this park as well, which could quite easily attract snakes. Don't spend much time there because of this

Grassy fenced area with some dog agility equipment. Great for puppies to have a run around but no shade on a hot day. Well maintained.

Nice shady and large area for dogs to run but unfortunately the park is not well maintained - the grass is overgrown and there are glass shards scattered around the area which might be dangerous for pups.

Beautiful dog park with a separate area for smaller dogs. Lots of space to run around and meet other dogs. Needs shaded area.
A medium-sized offleash area, recently divided into small/large dogs. There's not much shade inside, but there's a good shaded area close by. Plenty of parking. Right next to a sporting ground. Theres a couple of good walking loops starting/finishing from there.
Good walking place
Had a good time. The park was not crowded at around 3. Plenty of space for dogs to run around off leash.
It’s near a busy road which was the only negative if you can call it that.
Off leash dog Park, small breed / large breed separated area's. Fantastic community spirit and vibe, alot of beautiful dogs and there owners in the afternoons when it cools down. Doggy bags / bins / fresh cold water available for free

Today was the first time we went to this south lake park. It was not what we expected at all. I had to even ask a man whether this was the park or was it a private property!
There are two blocks with very well-maintained – such as the grass was cut to perfect length and everything looked nice and clean. There were poop bags for the dog owners to pick up their furry babies’ poo.
I am impressed with the double gate system to ascertain dog safety. In that double doors, there is time that you can adjust the leashes etc without disturbing pedestrians.
However, I believe that the enrichment for the park can be enhanced. There are not so much stimulation for the doggos as many other parks we have been to.
Furthermore, despite what I thought look rather peculiar, the two exact same establishments can prevent any aggressive , dangerous actions. It is nice that some dogs that prefer to play on their own and feel uncomfortable/ unhappy with other dogs can have a park to run around OFF LEASH.
Less rocks than some dog beaches. Right near yacht club so parking could be issue in busy times. But nice
A lovely park to walk the dog sometimes super quiet other times friendly neighbours out enjoying their walk
Very small dog aloud section .
Sculpture in other pictures aren't there any more.

Loads of people riding bikes so a pain to get to!!
Beautiful spot for families and very safe for kids to swim around.During busy periods parking spots can be full pretty quickly but if you go early you can get parking.Short walk down to the beach with stunning views of Sorrento bay.
It's a great little park for my dog to run and catch up with mates
Great location the frisby gold is a great activity.
Ah the serenity. One of the best dog beaches in Australia. What more could you and your pooch/es want.
Roc & I had a lovely afternoon at the off leash in Holden dr Oran pk ,roc made a couple of new friends 2 Boarder Collies &a Pom plus lovely owners ,makes the afternoon very enjoyable ☺️🐾🐾🐾🐾🐾
Beautiful park, with two large sections for large & small dogs. There's no shelter on sunny or rainy days, but otherwise an exceptionally well made and designed park.
Great sized area.
Could do with a bit more shade.
Also more council poo bags.
Nice park, especially appreciate the separate area for smaller dogs. It would really benefit by having shaded areas for the humans - it would be quite hot here in the open during summer.
Good little dog park. It has a sheltered table and chairs, watering area and bin. It doesn't have double gates though and it does get a little overgrown.
A relatively small but pleasant dog park. Fully fenced with a single entry gate, shaded bench area and a water fountain. No agility area and limited shade, but good for a quick run around at least. Located next to various sports courts and an oval, with parking nearby too.
Nice park. Small, but big enough for dogs that love their ball chase. Nice mix of shade and open areas.
Great community with the same faces and dogs down at the park most days. Busiest around 4:30-5pm weekday afternoons. Suits medium to large dogs best and there are often puppies there.
At first glance this is a great dog park, large space, plenty of seating, looks like an upgrade has happened in the past 6 to 12 months, its great. However along 1 side the fence is loose along the bottom and at the double gate (wide enough for a vehicle) theres a big enough hole out Jack Russell would easily get through, so this park is not an option for us. If you dont have a small hyperactive inquisitive dog youll be fine. The search for a good safe dog park continues.
Dogs can romp. There is big playground and small playground. For big barks and small barks. A serene lake and a huge walk around path for walkers and occasional joggers. Well maintained lawns.
Love this dog park as they have a seperate area for smaller dogs. There is hardly ever any doggy bags there though, make sure to take your own
Well you can't walk down to the kiosk / diner at the end - even with well behaved dogs leashed -without feeling like a criminal!!
NO DOGS PERMITTED signs litterally every 3 meters
And lots of snooty south of the river boomers and yummy mummies with precocious lil brats down that end anyways so no thanks!

The part with the beach where the dog sculptures are is nice. But don't venture past the jetty
A boomer Karen or Yummy mummy Karen will pop up😃
Great park. Gets busy around 3-5pm so it is the best time to go to meet other friendly doggies. The small section being separated is perfect for our pup.
Nice grassy open area with some agility equipment, also has a water fountain and tap. Only 1 bench for us bipedal creatures though. Only drawback is the lack of shade which may be a problem in summer

Great quiet dog beach, lots for kids to explore also 😀
Nice dog park, problem is no bins, but they want you to pick up your dogs business (which I always do), but no bins to put in in...& the stupid water bubbler, who thought of that, so hard to give your dogs a drink..
Nice Dog park with 2 benches under the shade

Great beach my local across the road 2min walk
Point Walter dog beach was amazing to take our furbabies and having the oval also for them to run.
The only sad thing is how there is no dog friendly cafe. A pity the cafe nearby does not allow just one out door section area for dogs on leads.
Nice spot...
If it were not for people without dogs freaking out about the dogs running about.
It's not "dog friendly" it's an actual designated dog beach.
Council signage, dog sculptures, bins with dog poo bags.
I think people without dogs should be fined, those who try to have a picnic amongst the dogs and complain about the dogs should maybe buy a ticket to the sun.
Great place for doggos. Grass is nice for them to run around on with obstacles down the far end. Bench seating and bubbler for humans also.
Decent size park next to netball courts and soccer field with bushland behind. Never crowded and usually quite. Tap for water and bin for waste. Take bags as often none available.
Unfortunately this dog park is not maintained well or looked after by the people that use it.
The water facilities are not appropriate. Who ever thought of those water fountains. Makes it quite obvious that he or she does not have dogs.
No dog bags. Because the holders are vandalised.
Also the little area for dogs has no water fountain And no shade.
Great for dogs..
A Nice little dog park.
Some agility obsticals for dogs, a water bubbler and a shaded area for humans
Great open space to walk your dog or let it run free. Views across Melville Water to the city. There were a lot of Black Swans when I went cruising along the water.
A little bit small and no double air-lock gates for the dogs, have to be very careful entering/leaving. Otherwise decent enough.
Crazy Dogs, Crazier people 🐶
What a great dog park. 10/10. Secure fencing, single point of entry, very clean, shade and water, and dog tolerant native landscaping. Every dog park should use this as a model.
Banjo thoroughly enjoyed the opportunity to stretch his legs after a long night on the road.
Nice place for morning walk. Protected area for dogs to play. Playing area with playing equipment for kids.
A good park to walk your dog
Big open space for all sized dogs
Rocky loved it amazing scenery would recommend. Fresh water clean park green grass beautiful

Great secluded beach Very quiet even at weekends in peak holidays. It doesn't offer the safe swimming of the nearby Lagoon for children, but still achingly picturesque at dawn or sunset. You can walk for 5 miles south without seeing a single person.

It has a shelter and views of Brisbane city.
Beautiful scenery. There's an actual play area for dogs with a few tricks-training stations (hurdles, loops, steps etc.) but the reserve itself is lovely. A good arvo walk on the weekends. I should add there's also poop bags available in the play area in case you forgot any.
