Great small enclosure. Good seats for you to wait while dogs enjoy.
Perfect for your pooch to run around and take a dip
Very gay friendly, would recommend for dogs and people.
My partner did the agility course and went through the tunnel really well
Loved it. Good size fenced dog park.
Big kids playgound and freestyle bmx dirt track. Toilets are clean. Dog pooh bags available. Scattered picnic tables or seats.
I don't find this a great spot for the dog as the beach can be very narrow when the tide is in and it is often full of seaweed and rubbish.
It's also mostly smaller dogs whose owners generally don't like my greyhoundX going near them despite her being friendly. So I really only enjoy this beach when the tide is out and there aren't other dogs around
Beach is super clean. Deep drop into the water
A great destination for people with dogs where you can walk along the beach to a cafe to enjoy a coffee before heading off.
Nice spot to meet people and pooches, but look for the brown land mines that be left behind..
I took the dogs at night time cause I work daytime not busy at night fully closed area for them to run around.
Great year round beach that is a dog off lead beach.

Unfortunately, the council doesn't care about this each as they rarely completely clean it (they tend to pile the debris up on the playground side of the beach). They leave it for the locals to clean.

Rubbish bins only located on the east and west ends. Not through out the beach.
Great dog area and fantastic play areas.
Due to the rain there are a few holes at the end of some of the agility equipment that need filling, otherwise this area has so many excellent areas for different activities. Well done GCCC.
Loved seeing the dogs play in the water.
Beautiful set of beaches
Great park, lots of open space for walks & sports
Great open field plenty of space to run!
It was great. And the kids c still have a few play friends. Owners need to take more notice of their dogs and less time videoing
As always when there's no football training is a great spot for dogs to socialize and some people you can see the happiness and they prance around which I see tennis balls and the like. The other side of Walter Galt 1 is also a great spot for letting your dogs off the leash and having a run I don't know what it is about this venue but the dogs love it.
Hi guys this reserve sees alot of smiling
Dogs, it's a beautiful place I will go there again a pleasurable experience
Great clean beach for dog walking
Mia thoroughly enjoyed it as it's quiet and the people super considerate of my lil dog who's friendly but old now and anxious. They are kind, caring and the dogs super chills and lovely. Thank you so much as it's been hard for us since Mia has been attacked in the past. Toilet on premises and a kids park nearby. Thank you everyone 🙏🥰❤️🐾🌅
Great place to take your dog, great of leash area and its amazing how many different breeds are down there and all get along. Great pinic area few seats and tables. No bins so have to take rubbish home with you.

Great dog park with agility equipment
Well maintained and very clean. Lots of shade
A sweet spot for an outing.
A fair sized area for your dogs to run around however it is not enclosed so if your dog hasn't been taught to return when called, this is not the spot for you. Otherwise it is a good place to meet other dog owners and have a chat while your dogs play together. There are (3) water fonts for dogs and their owners when thirsty.
There is a playground but it is at the other end of the park. This is also where there is a picnic area and free gas hot plates for cooking. There are no rest rooms here though. However there is one restroom attached to the pavillon which is adjacent to the dog Off Leash area but it is not always open.
One of the largest and best parks in the area
Great place to play or chill with your doggy on a hot day.
Horrifying experience with a severely aggressive man chasing my dog & trying to hit her with his ball thrower. Had she not been young & fast, he probably would have killed her. Grateful for some fantastic women who came to our aid. However, I’ll never take my pup here again
Dirt bike track, 2 playgrounds, a outdoor gym setup, a basketball court, a dog park and they are adding another small skate area ... Best park ever! Oh and a BBQ and picnic area.

Loved it
Fantastic, plenty of shade, water trough and poo bags😁
Amazing scenery and views from the deck. Great for a late evening walk.
Great expanse of grassland to exercise our dogs. 😍
Nice oval surrounded by gums, friendly locals and dogs off lead
Fabulous play space for dogs and our annual cavalier day meet.
The park itself is great and mostly off leash for dogs. Important to note that there are some busy roads that run alongside each perimeter side if your dog doesn't have good recall. It does have sports on and dogs and sports don't always mix well - again, its best if your dog has good recall.

The deduction of stars is really to do with some of the irresponsible dog owners that frequent the park - stand in the middle, chatting away, not watching over their hounds, picking up after them, keeping them under control or recognizing when their dog's behavior's is inappropriate to other dogs which is a shame. Best to keep walking and be savvy to dog behavior's. Have seen a few terrible scuffles which could have been easily avoided. Also, children's playground in the middle of the park, so if you don't have voice command control over your dog, or your dog is reactive, please seek out some of the wonderful alternatives.
Beautiful sunsets on the water, where you can walk your dog off leash too
I like this place, see dogs enjoying space. Great place to walk, around the end of the Williamstown peninsula walk along the bay, looking back to Altona, keep walking and looking across bay to St Kilda, Port Melbourne, the City CBD. Water tap for dogs at NE corner of Footy Oval, on the other side there are electric public barbecues, children's playground etc.

Nice dog 🐕 park, lovely area for a walk.
Love going here, everyone’s super friendly! Always a non judgemental place to go have a walk as well as good running place!
Awesome place to let the dog run he had heaps of fun meeting up with all his litter siblings
Great place to walk your dog off leash. It's a huge park (several hectares) and generallly speaking it's very social, but it's large enough to keep go yourself if that's what you want.
It is a great off leash dog park but it’s very windy when the weather is bad.
Great facilities! Lovely people! Good walks.

We are travelling through from Cairns and this is by far the nicest dog park we’ve seen, including all the ones we’ve got around cairns.

Great local dog park - very popular. It's great especially when the council whiper snip around the dog agility structures
Very well maintained and friendly dog owners. Occasional cricket or footy game on but that's part of the enjoyment of going here.
Disappointing because it is smaller than you think due to signage without fencing and usually unkept. Could do with another drink station and more seating/tables with sun shelters or trees.
Off leash dog park.. decent size not much shade grass is patchy
Great family and dog park. Plenty of room for everyone. Usually plenty of other dogs to socialise. Lovely walk around the lake.
Great area, plenty shade and benches. No toilets nearby, the only fault.
This is a good dog park, there are just a few weirdo Karen's to watch for. The dogs here are all excellent.
Pretty basic and unkept.
Its fine. It was pretty dirty though, I prefer the altona one
Small beach suitable only for voice controlled dogs. Lots of pedestrian and bicycle traffic on adjacent paths.
Sheltered. Apparently good water quality. Toilets nearby.
Best at low tide.
The coffee shop in the big Life Saving building, a short on-lead walk west, sells doggie icecream in dixie cups. A treat not to be missed.
Barbeque and plenty of parking.. Fresh water on tap to drink.. Nice place to picnic
Quite a large off leash dog area with plenty of open grassland area for dogs to run around and play. There's some standard agility equipment in the centre, alongside poop bag dispensers, bins and a shaded picnic area. The off leash dog park connects to the main tracks in the Wannarkladdin Wetlands and Bicentennial Park.

Toby and Rex will most certainly give this place a five star sniff
For a dog park it's a-okay. Very close to the water, various course elements to have your doggie play with, along with some under cover seating for the humans. It's fenced all the way around the perimeter and everytime I've been, has also been populated with friendly happy people.
I love Chelsea park..so much fun for the kids even bike riders and the pets...go and have a great day
This really is the local footy oval with no entry or exit gates to keep dogs in or out. Unfortunately, as a Husky owner, I couldn’t let our girl off the lead as she’d run away into neighbouring street immediately. Good for other, more passive breeds, to run and play off the lead.

More shade required for the hot days to come..but great spot for our furry friends
Great little.park. Got busy just after 5pm. But be sure to wear aeroguard or full body coverings as the modules and sand flies will eat you alive.
Really great dog park. There is dog agility equipment and a poop bag dispenser. The park is huge and there is lots of space for the dogs to run.
Another good off leash park right round the other side of the oval to another off leash park. Great for when sports are being played on the larger park.

There's also a child's play area, outdoor gym and BBQ/seating area located nearby. The grounds are less-well kept than the adjacent dog park, but still great nonetheless.
Definitely one of the better dog parks in Parkdale! A huge open area that's fence on all sides (albeit with no fence where the off road parking is).

Plenty of dogs here so great for socialisation, and dog owners generally pick up after their dog.

When sports are on, the remaining space is limited, so best time to come is very early in the morning or late in the afternoon.
Sensational dog park, lots of open space and fun obstacles to enjoy.
No busy roads nearby, plenty of parking, and a nice vibe of local dogs and owners.
There's a pergola and a table with benches to sit at if you need to. It's reasonably shaded, even in the middle of the day. There's a kids park not far away as well.

Dog beach is nice - can get very busy in the Spring/Summer (and quite over-crowded), making it difficult for dogs to have a good run.

Views of the port aren't particularly attractive and not one of Melbourne's best beaches, but worth a visit nonetheless.

Fence around the park no good for smaller dogs. Council really needs to maintain these parks.
Great place watch out for the migies tho
Great sized park that lets the dogs run free and play fetch giving them a well earned workout or space to train if needed. The climbing equipment for dogs also allows for their added fun & your pleasure. This park includes a decent sized gazebo to shade the pet owners whilst the dogs have their play.
This newly established dog park (in 2018) is well-set-up and nicely finished. It seems to be getting plenty of use. There's a fully fenced area, complete with doggie watering facilities for thirsty pups.

The dog park is part of a larger community precinct along School of Arts Rd that also includes a skate board park, a "Men's Shed" and a full sized foot-ball field. The dog park and the other things services the new suburbs of southern Redland Bay and Point Talburpin.
Wonderful dog park with seating areas, poo bags and bins, water taps and dog agility ramps and things.
Fully enclosed and has noticed about keeping barking dogs quiet for the neighbours nearby!
Great place to exercise your dogs!

needs double gates. to act as a safe guard yo stop dogs escaping when new arrivals cone
so good to see dogs socialising
Nice new park facilities. Good dog off lead area. Fun little skate park. Good for beginners and intermediate.
Love taking our new puppies here. Not much to look at but the grounds are always nice and tidy and the people and dogs that visit are always really friendly.
This is a very nice dog park to let your furry friend run free. There is a shaded place to sit. Usaually all the dogs behave well. There is plenty of doggy poo bags so dog owners can pick up their dogs poo. Usually the park is very clean from dog poo. Lots of the time friendly little dogs are there. So not a good idea if you have a large or medium aggressive dog that may want to hurt other dogs. It has happened once that I know of. A lady bought 2 saved greyhounds she just recieved and let them loose in the park and they just chased and attacked the little dogs. Some people just don't think.
Great community park! Our dog loves going every day to socialise and play on the provided equipment. It’s a great place to have a chat and enjoy the bay breezes in a superb area of Thornlands. Great boardwalks close by with connections to Cleveland. Good spot to rest after a bike ride or afternoon walk. Always people around enjoying the ammenities.
Dog love the walk and I also enjoyed taking her
Big open park with dog obstacle course equipment and shaded seating area. Easy to access with about 5-6 car parks and more street parking. Water bowl, poo bags and double gated entrance are all there too.
My dog says five stars.
