Great safe fenced park. Needs mowing now
Please don’t bring your reactive dog to this park. My dog has been bitten here several times. Just this afternoon, my dog went to say hello to a dog only for the owner to say “oh mine isn’t friendly” ?? why is it here?? It’s an amazing park, and it’s huge, but that doesn’t mean you can bring your reactive dog.
Lovely area, lots of space too run around with pets! Great atmosphere for dog lovers, and dog parents to take there fur-babies for a run or even a simple walk.
Our 2nd favourite dog park!
Plenty of space for dogs to run off leash.
Great dog park, it has separate are for small dogs and easy walking path for less able to navigate hills etc
Runaway Bay off leash dog park, also has smaller fenced off area for pups and older dogs.
Park is lovely, great friendly dog owners. The Dog park section is fully fenced. The lawn is overdue for a mow but that’s all.
All the dogs that go here seem to be friendly. Haven't seen any fights yet. Nice big fenced area with a lake to swim in. Very enjoyable.

Dog park has an area for big and a sperate area for small dogs. A couple water stations with dog bowls and a fenced perimeter. Also has a play area for children.
A lovely big grassed area giving plenty of room to run and there is a bit of sandy beach on a salt water inlet at one end for cooling off. There is a fresh water tap with built in dog bowl and at least one bench seat in the shade for people to sit.
Excellent park with plenty of room for each dog to do their own thing.
This is a beautiful place to allow your dog to roam free and even have a little swim. I would love to see some more drinking stations and poo bags with bins but other than that I highly recommend this as a place to take your four legged friends.
There are two playgrounds here ,one is at the front and another one at the back is bigger.
Such a PEACEFUL, interactive & SERENE puppy park.

The only place I’ve been to in the GC where little & big dogs engage off leash with no issues.

They have a fenced obstacle course, toilets and a BBQ.

It’s our new DAILY SPOT.
Was a bit apprehensive about letting my dog off leash but after watching every other dogs running around having a great time I decided to let my Maltese/Poodle off and let her run free and play with other dogs. Very friendly. We need more of these in South Ripley and Ipswich area
Just went there for a quiet walk. No dogs on leash and two yapping dogs off the leash yapping near my feet whilst the owner was on the phone not paying attention. Shame. Such a beautiful park

This dog park is barktastic! A) the whole park is fenced - for peace of mind to be off lead and safe, B) it’s pretty big (for those big woofers who need a run to stretch their legs), C) it’s got a walk track for you to stretch your legs while the woofers do their thang beside you, D) it’s got an enclosed area (that’s recently been extended) to keep the little woofers safe from the big/scary ones, plus the bonus E) it’s got a secure play area if you’re included to bring your two legged children as well as your four legged ones. There’s water, bins, poo bags, grass, shade, sun. If I could pitch a tent and live there, I would! :) Enjoyyyyy!
Easy to walk. Great little spot to take a dog either along thw path or in the enclosed training area.
There is a fenced enclosure for the dogs but if you're confident with your pooch you can let them frolick in the lake and the beach area. There's a BBQ there and also toilets. Really really nice.
Great hidden spot. Good playground and picnic area.
Big Fenced in off lead area for dogs and lots of short trails for young , old and the fury kind. If your lucky the cows are great for the kids to look at if they are nearby that day.
Beautiful park, perfect for a picnic.
Such a good park for dogs to run around and make friends.
Absolutely gorgeous place to go for a walk with friends or your pooch.
Great coffee shop 😋 to sit down. Have a coffee and relax
Brilliant. Clean. Well Maintained. Locals have great Respect for there Park. Thank You.
One of the best dog parks on the GC. BBQ play ground for kids. Dams & ponds for your dogs to get muddy. Lots of trees & toilets. Good foot parths & seats. Plenty of shade.
Great place to walk your doggie! There is a fenced area as well.
My little dog loves this place. He really enjoys socializing with other dogs and their owners. One drawback is that he usually gets muddy, but he's always super happy about it 😄
Great spot to let doggo off in the off leash area. I did also enjoy the walk down along the creek the bird life was amazing. The ranger was out checking dogs were on leads along the creek walk.

Great place with nice and quiet location.
The place has a dog park, children playground. Very well maintained.
Amazing place to let your dog run! Plenty of space, water and an agility park!
Beautiful park with heaps of great facilities for all the doggies! With a lake for swimming, a fenced in agility course, some lovely walking tracks and heaps of open space to sniff around as well as public toilets, it’s such a nice spot! Everyone and their pups are always very friendly too.
The Dogs and I love dog Island 🏝
They can run free and swim freely
Dog agility training course
Shaded seats under leafy trees
Lovely locals and lovely dogs
Coffee over the road at Golf course
Highly recommend 👌

This is a lovely park but Council needs to mow the grass & trim around the fenced area asap. It's a breeding ground for Ticks & if left any longer the snakes will have a field day
I come here every 2-3 days for a nice relaxing walk with my dog and to also play ball with him. It's a great park. However, it can be mosquito infested in the summer after heavy rain, so bring repellent. I've never had a bad experience with other dog owners. In fact, I usually get to talking with them while the dogs also socialise. Definitely a great park
Is a nice flat tarck with a combination of forest and farming views. Around 6 km, good for a short walk.

Nice and clean ✅️
🅿️ Parking ✅️
🍖BBQ area ✅️
🚻 clean toilets ✅️
🛝 kid playground ✅️
🐕‍🦺 dog park ✅️

👟The route can be done with sports shoes, it is not a complicated path.

❌️ The walk becomes boring because there are no signs that indicate where you are located.

Great size park with a smaller fully fenced yard for senior and small dogs. Entire park is fenced with a small agility area. Unfortunately there are no toilets and more bench seating would be good. Saturday mornings are particularly busy with a lot of daschunds, but during the morning in the week is a good time between 7-9am. There are taps for water, bowls in the small yard, poo bags and bins available. Parking is plentiful on either end of the park.
A bit of a walk to and from parking to the dog park it was great for the dogs they enjoyed it.The dog park was very spacious and even had an undercover area. However the water is located outside of the dog park, thanks to some kind strangers some buckets have been put inside the area to fill up so you don't have to leave for them to get a drink. Overall a great dogpark. a few balls and other toys were around the dogs loved it
Fantastic place to take the dogs for a walk, has a massive open field, then also has a freshwater creek that runs through the back of the oval safe for the doggies to swim in, when you enter the park it has a sharp decline down to the oval so wouldn't recommend for people with injuries or bad knees
What a beautiful place to spend some quality time. The park is very well maintained and the dog island is a great place to let your best friend run around off leash. If they like a swim there are a couple of small beaches by the lake/creak. Poo bins well placed by the agility area and entrance to the island but not always emptied. Can be a bit wet underfoot if it has just rained by dries out pretty quickly. Council provides extra doggie poo bags if you run out. If you just fancy a stroll around the outer park with pooch on leash that is lovely as well. Small childrens play park and basketball hoop, with covered picnic area. Toilets near by play park and a band stand, but I've never seen anyone performing there. Definately worth a visit. Would benefit from a snack/coffee bar but unfortunately none there, so if you want refreshments bring your own.

Nice cooling off area for the dogs, bench seat & table under the trees & agility area on far side. I thought the leash area was a bigger walk but quite small & ends abruptly both ends. The off leash enclosed area is well maintained & great for dogs & owners
Best dog friendly park with the most beautiful serenity, a pretty lake to walk around and a pine tree forest to explore! There is Also a fenced dog park with all the obstacles that your fury friend needs. public toilets and BBQ area near by.
Great park to have let your dogs go for a big run without lease !🐶🐕
Loved this place 😀I actually don’t own a dog but on the day I had two cow loving kids with me and we were able to pat cows soooo cool they came up to us and let us give them loves 😱
There was one old girl who wanted to have a head butt with me so you def need to watch out for the cranky ones ☺️the park is fun too and the zip line is extra zippy!
Lots of fun 🤩
My fur babies love this park, lots of dogs to play with, plenty of room. Has shade, a playground for the kids (the playground isn't amazing, but it's got the basics),public toilets, bbq areas with tables and chairs, and benches scattered throughout the park. My only feedback is that one side of the park has no taps, so by the time my babies get to the front of the park, they are lapping up the water. Other than that, there is so much for your fur babies to explore at this park, they wont be disappointed!
It's OK. When I was there there were a few big breed dogs that owners just let them run around chasing smaller dogs.
I love this park! I go all the time, there is a playground, picnic areas, benches and a seperate space for small/elderly dogs ❤️
Lovely park, which has a nice off lead dog section.
There’s a huge amount of space here for dogs that to play off leash in the grass or in the water. There’s a nice little section of beach so you can sit while your dog goes for a swim. Because the grass area is so large, it’s easy to get away from other dogs if you’ve got a new puppy or a dog not fully socialised. Probably one of the best places on the Gold Coast to take dogs.
Great off leash park with plenty of space to run, swim or use agility equipment. Plenty of shade and water
Not far after the turn-off to the Botanical Gardens, follow Google Maps to this wonderful, large dog park/beach.

There’s plenty of street parking although no ‘official’ disabled parking.

Took my dogs (2 Toy Poodles) here yesterday looking for an alternative to the beach.

What a wonderful surprise!

Hidden down a short laneway, opens up a magnificent oasis of walking trails, massive open spaces for the dogs to run their hearts' out and the 'piece de resistance,' a massive lake of flat water for dogs of all sizes & experiences to paddle or swim .

The dog owners too, are delightful.

I had promised to update with photos so here we are… this is my 2 red toys, Merci & Peppa who I think love this park/beach as much as I love them (and that’s saying something !)

We’re heading here today… how lucky are we on the Gold Coast, beautiful weather matched with beautiful surroundings?

If you’re new to the area or visiting, ‘welcome, enjoy and have a great day!’

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!

They separate place to small and big dog areas, that’s very sweet
Probably a 2km path that you can walk along (make sure your dog is on a leash as the council patrol here pretty much daily). There is a small off leash dog area, but it is not the best park on the coast. If you have a larger dog it’s definitely worth it to head to Pizzey park or even the talle dog island… this one is just not large enough to tire my girl out, and it’s not enriching enough for me also, nobody wants to pace the same short path to get a walk in!
It's just the best place for the puppies to go for a run.
Plenty of room for all, and even beautiful big trees to put the park in shade during the hot afternoons.
Well looked after by council and respected by all who use the park and clean up after our fur babies!
Not enough. The water smells around the park. Probably not always. But swift Park has a better atmosphere. And better shade. Plus a toilet block. Tables and benches.
静かでリラックスできます。
牛もたくさんいるので小さい北海道みたい
A fantastic dog park with a vast amount of space. Nice near the water and trees to sit under for shade. Our favourite dog park by far on the gc!!
I have been visiting this dog park for years and in my opinion it is the best place for dogs on the North Gold Coast. A footpath that goes around, the perimeter insures Dog Owner’s are constantly on the move by doing so they are not creating any invisible territories that only their dogs can see. All dogs visitors appear to get along. I’ve never seen any problems in this park, a good standard of Dog Owner and a well maintained park with water and small dog enclosure. The park includes a fenced playground for the kids.
We love here:) dog can run, play facilities and jump into the water!
The kids love this park, the flying fox and swings slide all a good hit! The lake is a lovely 4K walk always busy and very safe to walk alone. There are water fountains the whole way round and a dog park on the other side of the lake.
Good play area for dogs. Cats welcome. Space also has a shaded picnic area with benches within the enclosure. 2x double gated entrances on either side. Water fountain at gate. Don't forget your sunblock. There are no trees in this enclosure.
Fantastic large fenced in dog park to wear the dogs out always plenty of friends to play with..if you are keen on exercising as well the walk around the lake is great as well.
Biggest dogpark we have found so far since moving to Brisbane. Pups had a great time, lots of space plenty of shade, taps and toilets.
Best dog park ever! Not just due to the space. But also it's kept very well. The grass is always cut, the trees are beautiful and lots of shade. Two playgrounds! Highly recommend.
Probably the best dog park I've ever been to. Massive space for the mutts to run around and a walking track that goes around the whole way. Beautiful lake for them to swim in and a nice little pocket for the rowdier dogs to go play in. Not fully fenced but my dog (who's a bolter) didn't want to leave anyway!
Massive park with lots of room to run around as well a pond and obstacles to play with. plenty of rocks and benches for the humans too as well as water taps and bins. All fully fenced too unless your dog can swim over the nets and across the pond
Good place to take your dog for a walk. Big open park. Haven't had any issues here
Nice and quiet place, but need to be more maintained well. Glasses are too long...
No public toilet, some benches but only one picnic table. Some car park spaces Souter st.
Great large dog park. The back area isn't fenced off so dogs sometimes end up running down Clark street where cars are pulling into/out of driveways and the nearby large underground parking garage. There are occasional aggressive dogs that harass the little ones/puppies, but generally not a problem. There is a regular meeting of small dogs/puppies around 4pm that is quite a heartwarming experience.
It's to small....my dogs don't like it.
They love walking along the river though.
Can I recommend some more garbage bins....I had to carry my dogs poo until I was getting in the car.
Down by the river there is a huge grassed area. A few big trees with picnic tables would be really nice.
Ground has rocks all over it , the step for the water is to high from erosion for my old staffy
It's a great place to take your dog for a bit of off leash fun. It can get hectic with lots of dog running around unsupervised. I would suggest you keep a close eye on your pooch. Not all dogs get along and most people don't like wet, sandy dogs jumping on them.

Approximately 500m flat concreted walking circuit with dog drinking stations and toilet businesses bags at either end. Also has enclosed area for small/elderly dogs. I would say 99% of people at this park are friendly and responsible with watching their dogs and picking up after them. Very large open area for bigger dogs to run around and throw a ball in. Little dog exercise circuit. No swimming areas. Plenty of shade. No toilet facilities. There is also an enclosed playground for young children (sand base). Is mowed by council regularly. My dog loves going here!
Great little space but beware of the steaming divot!!
Attended the dog park portion -
Great size for excersing my large breed dog, you get a mix of great dog owners who are responsible with their dogs and not responsible dog owners. Beware of the odd land mines, the park needs some basic maintenance as the gates and water tap needs repairs.
A very nice fenced park. Felt secure to let the dogs run freely and have water access. Wish the beach section was larger but other than that it's great.
Our new favorite dog park on the Gold Coast. Great walkingpath complete with dog beach and plenty of trees as well as a large grassy area for dogs to run around in. Theres poo bags, a tap complete with dog bowl and rubbish bins throughout. Not fully fenced but still really well contained space. Dogs need to listen to commands to be able to be off the leash here. Brilliant place to exercise your dog.
As a new dog owner, I have enjoyed this dog park. My dog enjoys meeting other dog and getting the mental stimulation from the course. I've been told that some dogs that go there are a bit aggressive and the owners aren't good at keeping them under control, but I've not experienced that yet. But it is something to be aware of.
Great little park to take your dog for some off-lead exercise. The park is fully fenced, has shady trees, and has a pond if if your dog likes to have a splash. There are also some training props such as platforms, ramps, poles and jump hoops. Parking off the road for approx a dozen cars

A large park with great facilities: water, poo bags, fenced kids playground and a separate fenced area for smaller dogs and/or puppies. Awesome place for dogs’ socialization and play.
Great park to take the dog to and these all around the lake was nice too
My Bella and Tito loved it, was a great place for our Chihuahua group meet up 😊
Came on a Sunday, amazing dog park! It's area size is fairly small but it's definitely worth checking out as it's so extremely beautiful, unique and incredibly picturesque an tranquil! Pristine an clear lakeside swimming for the dogs and plenty of places in pinetree groves to go exploring and chasing each other, hide an seek doggie style! BBQ areas as well.. awesome!

This park definitely needs more grass, most of the land are dirt. If it's a raining day, it would become very muddy. Drinking place for dogs is extremely muddy too and poor maintained. The Park is near a big pond, therefore, shed loads of mozzies. 😂 Even in end of July. Not hard to image in summer time.

Nice place to take the kids or have a bbq or feed the ducks. There is a little playground, tennis courts/ basketball hoops and a cafe.
This is by far my favourite dog park on the gold coast!! Very spacious, secure, nice facilities and equipment and lovely landscape~ My dog has an amazing time running around 🐶💙~
Great park for families and fur friends. Whole thing is fenced, dogs are pretty much politely kept away from tables and kids playground (mostly). Heaps of tracks to explore safely on bikes for the kids. Dog and people bubblers. Toilets. Well maintained. Always busy but well and truely big enough for you to find your own space. If the weather is bad, their is only a few undercover tables that fill up super fast.
Held our puppy's first birthday here with her friends 😂. Great place for them to run, play and swim. Beautiful pine forest as well! Small warning there is no fencing though and they can run into the car park so keep close watch.
Great spot, open grass, lots of shade trees and spots for tired people to sit in the shade. Gives the feeling of freedom without fences or risk of the dog running off if it is young and enthusiastic.

Only negative (for us) was that Google maps could not give is accurate directions, and it is not well signed, so it took us ages to find a place to park. We would never actually have located it if we had not found other dog owners to direct us.
Very clean, great walking track, basketball friendly, park benches, kids adventure playground. Want more in a generous floor plan.
Great dog park - open space, bordered by water, agility equipment, lots of shade, seats, poo bags, bins. On leash area also which is a huge area
A great fully fenced dog park. I love watching our dog run through the water and interact with other dogs. There's a dodgy water fountain with a bowl, dog doo bags and rubbish bins available.
What an amazing park. Couldn’t believe how big the park was as I’ve been to other dog parks which I bought were great but Musgrave Park is a brilliant park. Highly recommend it 😊🐾
Beautiful place for you and your dog. Many shady areas, tall trees make for a magical walk. This place is massive so dogs can run around as they please.
A word of caution, there are some water holes that doggie can splash in but not dangerous, I don't allow
My doggie in the muddy water, makes for a tiring exercise for me
Great open area that's securely fenced for you to play with your dog(s). Only downside is that it gets pretty muddy around the dog drinking areas and you may not want your dog rolling in the mud. They should build some more concrete around the water taps to avoid this.
