Massive, expansive dog park with a gentle slope downwards so the rain runs off and doesn't pool.
Never overwhelmed busy with doggos.
Quiet suburban and Aussie bush surroundings.

Really nice spot to overlook the whole Sydney harbour at sunset time🌇🧡

We went for an evening visit (organised by Powerhouse) of the observatory, and our lovely guide took us on a very interesting tour of the grounds and buildings, covering the history of the site as well as its astronomical importance. The visit ended with the viewing of stars in the domes, fascinating! The guide was engaging and very knowledgeable. We highly recommend!

Beautiful view of the harbour Bridge, waterway and north Sydney. Plenty of space to sit and mingle, can be crowded, especially summer during sunset. Recommended
Not off leash dog area
Great venue xx loved the lower gates to enter the dog area ...as a wheelchair user it made it very accessible xx thank you ..great parking , lovely clean park ...suggest greater signage tho overall great xx
A beautiful park with a stunning view of the harbour bridge and city skyline. Reminds me of Kings park in Perth. Really great if your looking for a nice picnic spot or just a quiet place to relax.

Title: Serenity with a View at Observatory Hill, Sydney

Observatory Hill in Sydney is an absolute gem! The well-maintained grass, abundance of trees providing shade, and open spaces with clear views of the skyline make it a perfect retreat. The beauty of the place is amplified by breathtaking sunsets, weather permitting. I find myself drawn to this serene spot, and it has become my go-to for relaxation and enjoying the stunning scenery. A must-visit for anyone looking to unwind amidst nature's beauty.
Brilliant location and excellent views especially during sunset hours. A brief walk from Circular Quay to the park.

big park with fully fenced dog exercise area and seperate agility training area. Love this place
A beautiful place with a great view of the bridge, sprawling green grass & and gazebo to sit & relax. Wonderful time spent with my Daffodil Alumni all students here..& with my present school students who had come for an Australian tour.
Good for dog exercise, but no public toilet.
Great place for dogs with recall issues as I wasn’t worried that she could disappear. Agility area next door and a separate enclosed area for small dogs.
Wonderful little oasis! Large
Lake and I have never seen so many swans and ducks in one place! A great find!
Nice cool place for dogs. Plus water for your dog to have a swim
Not great, puppy parents often have trouble controlling their dogs and are ignorant of danger signs and lack recall. I think it's a favourite of people who can't, or aren't interested, in controlling their dogs as it is easily accessible and an obvious location.

What it does have is a great area outside of the fenced to give the pups a decent run when I'm in a hurry and can't make it to a better park. But the Parkway is busy so make sure you have control and have taught recall. Usually a free run as most of those who go there haven't.
NOTE: there are no toilet facilities at this park for adults or children.
Parking is in residential cul de sac.with limited room
it’s good for dogs etc but ur rlly needs more seating especially for the little dogs as ppl have to sit on the grass
Great fenced in dog park split into 2 sections for larger and smaller breeds. Plenty of friendly people there most evenings.

Parking can get a bit crowded on really busy days and there's not a lot of shade for owners but apart from that it's a great little spot.

It is a good place for our dogs to have fun.
What could be a good dog playground is let down by being dry and dusty. They’ve Re-turfed some areas but it’s still very patchy. Some thoughtless people don’t pick up their dog’s poo. Good for a run around but nothing special.
No longer an off lead dog beach. Dogs now have to be on lead.
Best enclosed dog park I've been to. Our little one loved it and very accessible with seats and shade.
Great park great dogs lots of nice people .would be great if it had lights just to 9pm for those who finish work late
Had another great experience on the beach with our dog today. Love this place.
Usually quiet, but never clean. If you are prepared to pick up after lazy dog owners there are 4 seats and some shade.
A number of new large enclosures, some with training and agility equipment. Pleasant surrounds with lake and Nature preserve either side, meaning abundant bird life.

Interesting history surrounding this park ... Plaques in various locations describe the history. Great views of Anzac Bridge with Sydney Harbour bridge I background, sports grounds, large grasses areas, good for a picnic. Green space/Industrial vibe.

Love this place. It has bicycle renting, family package is $70 per hour or approximately 2 rounds around the entire park.

There is also various activities there, especially around high school holidays. The park itself is ginormous so you might get lost.

Furthermore there is also jumping castle and so on.
Top place to let the dog stretch her legs and right on the bay.

I love go running there. Many people drawing, taking the dog for a walk, looking the sunset. It’s beautiful 😍
Great little fenced section for the dogs with entry/exit gates at either end, which is especially good for our nervous dog when she doesn't want to go past other dogs, nice range of fixed agility tools great playground for the kids fenced separately right next to it. Also has a small beach section in the park.
Really good community park for dogs to burn some energy. Loved the fenced area. Just wish there’s was more agility equipment

Iconic hill overlooking the Sydney harbour bridge. Fantastic views and perfect place for a picnic. Very well maintained and the grass feels so relaxing to sit on. The whole park is so scenic and it is no wonder it is often used as a backdrop for proposals and wedding photos. A must visit!
Nice place, take the dog there for a walk. Apparently
Very nice park dogs friendly. Went for a bicycle ride with my son. Lovely ambience
Stopped here on the weekend to give the a dog a break from the epic traffic snarl from Brisbane. Plenty for the dog to sniff, although not the most convenient for parking.
A really nice park that is super dog friendly. Nice friendly people
Spacious fully fenced dog park with water fountains and enough space to play frisbee or ball with your dog. The dog park was reasonably well presented, and there was no dog agility equipment unfortunately. Reasonable for a small run around off leash.

Great fenced dog park with an awesome community of owners. Highly recommended for sociable medium to large dogs or small dogs that think they are big dogs and can hold their own against some energetic play.
Great dog beach. Unfortunately some people don’t read the signs that say ‘Dog Beach’ and set up their picnics and sit on their beach towels and get extra salty when dogs run up to them 😩 This was in November.
Although the beach looked great and there were many people around, I wasn't allowed to go on because I had my dog with me, and dogs are not permitted at all in the Summer months. Very misleading calling it a dog off leash beach when it prohibits dogs in the busiest season.
It does have a nice grassy area nearby, and free parking not to far from the beach though.

peaceful pathway for morning exercise
Nice n quiet and a quite a big area to run.
Needs about a meter of soil added, entire park is flooded and low lying. Dogs get very wet
So we were looking for a bike track to go to with the family, we googled to see what would come up and this place came up.

The area in Glebe is beautiful was really easy to find, just pretty much followed google maps to get there.

The tracks are kid friendly but I think but there are some little ledges that you need to careful with when taking the kids on the bike track since most of the track is on the edge of the water.

Still safe in my opinion but just need to be careful.

If you not a fan of dogs then you may not like the place as there were hundreds of dogs on the weekend. We would pass a dog every 2 mins but they were never a problem for us was kinda cute and my kids fear dogs and were fine.

They also have heaps of little play areas for the kids, even a flying fox, slippery slide, was pretty cool.

The thing about this place that sets it apart from other tracks is the scenery, lots of photo opportunities here.

If you wanted to eat tramsheds is only 5 min drive with a few restaurants inside there and clean toilets inside. Or, there is the streets of glebe where you might find something to eat there also.
If you're looking to train your pooch into a canine commando look no further. A spacious park with multiple obstacles to dip your toes into the world of agility trials. Just missing a restroom, so you'll be training your bladder alongside your furry friends.
Little gem of a beach with city skyline views, rocky pier to walk out on and a giant grass hill to do stuff on🤍🌞 Free parking in some spots
My dogs love this place....nice fenced area so they can run off leash, with a few bench seats, plus a covered picnic table.
There is a mix of big and small dogs, and most of the owners have been coming for a while, so any behavioural issues are quickly sorted out.
Quite shady from about 4pm onwards. A nice fenced playground for the human toddlers is adjacent.
The surrounding park is also off leash, and very shady, complete with a swimming spot.
When aggressive dogs who cant even enter without attacking is a bad sign.(not ours theirs) Owners who don't care if dogs are aggressive and try other entrances. Would not recommend unless you want a dog attacked.

Beautiful day and night, especially during early sunrise. Along the harbour is a lovely track from the far end to the eastern part all the way to almost fish market. Morning seeing rowing training, dog walkers, runners, and some on bicycles. Dogs are mostly on leash lately although many are still off leash. Probably the safest to walk in the morning as more people are around. At night it is dead quiet. Great for romantic chat or people wanting solitude under moonlight.
Still completely soaked from all the train we had weeks ago.

It'd be perfect otherwise, I can't wait for it to dry out so we can visit again

One of the best. 2 enclosures, 4 seats, 2 shade areas, plenty of area to run around. We'll maintained too. Not a lot of parking and no toilets nearby let it down .

Great dog park with big and little dog areas normally well maintained. Very nice walk through the bush to link up to the neighbouring estates.
Lovely cool setting to walk your dog. Well-maintained walkways with shady areas, nice when it is hot.
Great size, totally secure and a good spot for a walk through the reserve after the dog gets a play!
Elwood beach has two zones with different seasonal restrictions for dogs.

1 April to 31 October – Dogs allowed on sand area.

1 November to 31 March – Dogs allowed on sand from 5.30 am to 9.30 am between the rock groyne south of Point Ormond and the beach access ramp 35 metres south-east of Normandy Road. Dogs cannot go on sand anywhere else on Elwood Beach.

(Copied and pasted from the Port Phillip council website)
Very quiet and pleasant beach to take your dog. Dogs are restricted during certain months (Nov to Mar) unfortunately. A few water fountains along the main path up the stairs. Water is generally clear and great for swimming with your dog when calm weather.
Great dog park and nice children playground. Beautiful waterside.

Great little park, separate enclosures for big and small doggies, shaded areas...
Great place. Great community. I often meet the same people and our dogs get along so well. If you think of coming here, MAKE SURE YOUR DOG IS SOCIALISED or you will ruin it for the rest of us!
I recommend Bark Busters for training.
Nice empty park. Big open space to run with no bushes or trees in the way. Popular at 4pm
A little small and no shade, but there is a bench and water tap plus bin and bags if you need.

A nice, open area park for afternoon sports and walks by the water.

Not too much in the way of amenities, so bring your own coffee, drinks and food.

The one playground in the area has seen better days, but still has the ability to challenge/punish kids going too fast on the merry-go-round (photos withheld). :)

Nice place
Great for dogs
My wife and I have taken our dog here for years, the grounds are always well looked after and the locals are all freindly and down for a chat.
Great off leash dog park with views out to the bay, plus well maintained walking tracks throughout the Redlands area. Great place too if your dogs like a swim in the sea!

Lots of grassy space, car park
Lovely shadey area to take the dogs. It has a sandy beach for them to swim and a water fountain and poo bag dispensers.
I like it more than my local dog park because its a smaller fenced off area. Great for when your dog is still learning
