Keep your hours the same on a Saturday. What does it matter that it's Winter. I turned up at 8;40AM expecting the store to be open like it has been for the last 20 years that I've been frequenting the store. Only to find a very small sign next to the hours of operation sign declaring Winter hours for July and August.
You have me email and mobile number for advices on pool testing reminders. How about an SMS or email about the change in open hours on a Saturday!!!!

Overall very professional service. They reacted immediately to what we wanted and the service was excellent. Connor, Rob, Lee, Harry…they were all very pleasant, helpful and professional.
First they acid washed the pool, then replaced the salt chlorinator and I also purchased a cordless Dolphin Robot Vacuum pool cleaner. The pool looks terrific.
I have now asked them to service the pool on a monthly basis after doing it myself.

Along with attending for monthly pool servicing, they have also been available to help with a few issues that have arisen with our pool. I was previously using another local company, but have found that the team at Pool Doctor have excellent knowledge and can explain things in a clear and simple manner. Very helpful when you go into shop. However, not good at keeping customers up-to-date or returning calls on same day with slow delivery of ordered items and planned installation. Have paid a significant deposit several weeks ago and am still waiting.

their site to register does not even work - no support and they do not acknowledge any appliance for warranty even if they have a serial number as unless you can show proof of purchase the appliance is deemed not to be theirs - I will never ever buy any appliance that is even remotely associated with Astral and avoid "my fluidra"

We hired oasis pools to build our pool due to the high quality finish pools displayed on their website & social media platforms.
I can confirm that our pool is Finished to a high quality standard and all the subcontractors oasis supplied done an amazing job.
However the level of customer service from oasis is just not there, the lack of communication was our biggest issue and we were made to feel like we were pain every time we phoned for updates or explanations of processes or invoices.
We had trades turn up when we were not home so they were having to climb fences to gain access as we were not informed they would be coming.
We wanted a certain feature added to our pool(minor) and the response from the site supervisor was “I will persuade the boss NOT to do this”…. As the paying customer we should have anything we like added to the pool build as we were paying for this service.
We would leave messages with oasis regarding pool issues & no reply.

Like we said before the pool finish is amazing and it looks great however we wouldn’t recommend oasis as the level of customer service for the price being paid for these pool builds is not there, we receive better service from our Gardner!
We believe oasis take on too many pool builds to be able to give the customer service clients deserve.

Had a Astral spa gas heater installed it only lasted just over 2 years.
They will not stand by their product. Totally get waranty is 2 years , ours lasted 2 years and a couple of days. When we were dissapointed and unsatisfied with their response, their agent stated that they didnt even have to come out and take a look.
Very poor product, dreadful value for money. Not worth it!! beware.

Went in to get a chlorinator repaired, and was met by very friendly staff who organised repair immediately.
Rob went above and beyond by not only quick repair but also tested the unit to ensure it was working properly.

I have never dealt with a more useless company. We had to chase them for a service, when they finally came they said they had to order filters - it’s currently the end of Feb 2023 and we’ve been waiting since December 2022. Every time I try for an update I’m told they’ll “get back to me” or I get their voicemail. Clearly no one checks this as I never hear back. Both myself and our property manager have been trying for months to get things sorted and have only been met with frustrating responses. Absolutely useless.
Update - February 2024 and still not heard back from them… bought all of our chemicals and everything we needed to use the spa back when they told us it would be a short wait for the filters. Still no filters 🙄 what a waste of money!

Exceptional customer service. I popped in to see if they did pool pump servicing . They didn't - but they went one better. Bill came to my house, picked up my pump, took it to Gold Coast Chlorinators at Molendinar and picked it up again once it was serviced. Who does that these days? I also needed a 50mm O-ring and they just gave it to me. That's the kind of service that brings people back. Thanks guys.

The young lad is unprofessional. He refused to check the stock for me, also didn't even know the name of the item. It's called: SKIMMER DECK DRESS RING!!

It was busy when I went but the staff were doing a great job tending to everyone. Good selection of products too.

Went in to get availability for an old cell and was looked after by very friendly and talented staff who organised everything perfectly.
Rob went to the next level and put together a wiring connection that was perfect.

I was recommended by a mate - and I have to say I am glad he did. Greg in the store and Logan the installer were just fantastic. Great advise and great cusomter service. Managed to get me sorted and a week out from Xmas amazing. Also followed up to make sure all good. Highly recommend the team. Note it wasnt a cheap repair - but the service certainly smoothed the pain.

Sales people are good if you are looking to purchase something, not great with trouble shooting problems after your buy the equipment and it doesn't work properly. I've had no end of trouble with my new pool cleaner they keep telling me it could be a hundred things but aren't being very specific at all equipment has warranty however they won't honer the warranty until it's been back to the manufacturer for checking and now I have to do running around to send it back. Over a month later still hasn't been sorted.

Not overly impressed: 1) waited 4 months for pool light frame, 2) was given completely wrong advice about hydrostatic valve - was told it was to let water out!! 3) have been on 3 occasions to find it closed (message said due to Covid, but in Nov '22?). Having said that, some staff are helpful and obliging.

I’m in the very expensive process of changing my entire operating system to a more reliable brand. So disappointed.

I have seen a few negative comments about this business. I think who ever said it must have got the wrong business. I have purchased items from this company and always found the staff most helpful. my last interaction with the them started as an enquiry to see if they had the part I wanted. Greg spoke to me and explained that the part i wanted was still under guarantee. I was surprised because it was almost three years old. Greg then took all my details and arranged for the company concerned to come to my place and replace the part, all at no cost. I was very happy. the person who came to replace the part was also very helpful and polite. I think this is great customer service all round.

So grateful for Rob the technician who was friendly, professional and knew exactly what to do. I will definitely be back. Thanks Rob, much appreciated!!

They have brought our pool back to life. Literary green to blue. But not only that, they said I'd need a new filter but to run mine until summer to save some cash. The amount I paid does not reflect how much money I have saved. 5+ stars

My pool builder used all Astral equipment. Not a single thing lasted 2 years. Chlorinator buggered, acid feeder buggered, Even the robot cleaner has carkt it 3 times.

These guys will do anything to avoid warranty and create obstacles they know you won't achieve. Save yourself the hassle and waste of money, looks for another brand. These guys are ripping Aussies off hard.

Their sales team is excellent! Greg, this week was polite, helpful and efficient. Cost of even larger items was good and a pleasure to do business with this company!! Highly recommended.

After 6 years of going to this place because of proximity convenience I am told he won't sell me pool salt as he has priority customers even though the week before he told me to come in as he had the supplies coming in. Half a wall of salt there too. Won't be going back even when they get their supply chain in order

Good company great advise and there prices are the best even bigger range now of salt magnesium and all the filtration and fittings good selection of pumps

Very helpful staff member, super cautious to ensure I got the precise replacement filter cartridges for our spa. (Even offered a money back refund if they didn't fit!) I should hope so too. Spa cartridges are notoriously exxy cost wise.... which is my ONLY regret with this company... I could have bought cheaper on line...But having said that... I got immediate, local support and supply instead of waiting weeks, months or however long it takes for our Covid ridden delivery services to get their collective "stuff" together....
Great work WA Pool Warehouse... I'll be back...(but not TOO soon 😉)

If” I posted a positive review Donemans offered to gives us $100 store credit….
Communication was poor right from the start of our pool construction. We never knew what was happening or when. After the hole was dug I spent two days scraping the mud off driveway, why would you expect contractors to be responsible for cleaning up after themselves? The we were hit with an extra truck fee and dumping fees…even though there was minimal rock. Hayden decided we needed two trucks for dumping even though they were only dumping just down the road, a 1.5km round trip from the job site. No one asked us if we’re happy to pay for the extra truck, which sat out the front most of day. We never approved the extra truck, but we were still required to pay for it. There was no communication around extra costs for the dumping at a site of their choosing, it was explained to us on the day as if they were doing us a favour by dumping so close.
The coping tiles were laid on a weekend and tiler brought his kids along. Why that’s ok, I have no idea. Once the tilers were finished we inspected the tiles and noticed the tiles were laid uneven and the grout lines were uneven. When we raised our dissatisfaction with this at which point we were basically told we were having a whinge and the tiles aren’t square, so it’s not their fault. We said we would have pod extra for tiles that were square, Kevin said we paid extra for the tiles we got. They ended up grinding the grout lines out to make them “look” square and even. After this we noticed we could see daylight under the tiles and the glue wasn’t evenly coated on each tile. Once again more stories about how they do all the pools like this and we are having a whinge and we don’t know what we’re talking about. Friends of ours were having a pool done at the same time and their tiles weren’t like that, we then contacted another company who uses the same tilers and emailed them photos. They also expressed their concerns around the gaps under the tiles. Donemans insisted the tiles were fine, nothing to worry about.
About a month after the pool was finished grout has fallen out of the tiles. For the past two months now I’ve been chasing them to fix it. After again being promised it would be done today, no one has has come to fix it.
To top it off the concreter they recommended has done a terrible job….but that’s a story for another google review….
The best of Donemans was in the office, the office and shop staff have been great and very helpful.
Overall if I was buying a pool again I wouldn’t be using Donemans and I wouldn’t paying invoices as quickly as they requested. They have certainly left a bad in taste in my mouth and I have also noticed some of these 5 star google reviews have been left by their own staff, that and the fact they offered to pay for positive feedback should tell you everything you need to know about this company.

Terrible service. We paid for a cell 2 weeks ago and we’re told it would be in the next day. 4 phone call 3 visits in to the store still not one phone call with an update only excuses when we phone or go in. No responsibility or response. Would not recommend.

Very hard to contact Astral Pools support, no contact phone numbers listed on their website which instructs you to click on the chat link which is non existent. After managing to find a contact phone number I've been on hold up to 45 mins at a time waiting to lodge a warranty service call. This is the second time our chlorinator has failed in the last three months and I've been waiting for 23 days so far this time for their sms message to advise me when it will be scheduled to be serviced. Multiple follow up phone calls to them get a response that they are busy and to continue waiting.

Astra pools were the most unhelpful organisation. I am a qualified refrigeration and electrical mechanic with vast experience, Astral pools would give absolutely no technical assistance to me on there equipment. They told me to contact other people who work on there equipment which had been done over a period of 2 months to no avail the technicians kept promising but never turned up. The client has been suffering for months and the heat pump is just over 2 years old.
Do not purchase anything from them they don't care if it works only that you purchase it.
If I could give less than 1 star I would.

Pool doctor replaced my old cartridge filter with a brand new sand filter yesterday. From the initial conversation and quote in-store to the install the whole process was painless and professional. The value for money was also great.

My wife and I have tried the rest .....having had 2 x large pools on 2 separate acreages over the past 6 years . They are a small family business with accurate advice . No other pool shop as far as we are concerned .

This is the only one pool shop I go to every two weeks since I move in the new house with pool. I will give this pool shop a big thumb up. The owner they work really friendly and always give me good chemical products in quick and budget way. They provide fully range of pool amd spa product and also pool service. They are Very recommend! thanks.

The team at IPP we’re fantastic. David was extremely knowledgeable and made me double check my system so that the replacement pump was what I needed. He spent time discussing the options and then gave me a price which was around 30% cheaper than our pool maintenance team. I wish there were more companies in the industry that were so focused on customer satisfaction.

Had Astral Pool equipment installed as part of the pool build. It started playing up within 2 weeks of being installed. Waited for a response in relation to pump noise but problem corrected itself. Then had problems with control unit constantly putting pump into start up mode. Again waiting weeks for a response after submitting an online service request as well as sending emails. Someone called out of the blue and booked a service. The serviceman turned up and replaced something. Fixed one problem but within two days another problem occurred. Control unit will not even start pump, is all over the place with its readings and the PH sensor drops in and out. Have been waiting a week after sending two emails. Have tried calling but as other reviews say, it is a waste of time. Waited 33 minutes before giving up...........buyer beware.

NO hard selling sales person here... just great customer service from friendly staff with the experience and full knowledge of their products.

I’ve have had some pretty dodgy people out here but these guys are the worst. I didn't want to get them back for a 3rd go as I have no confidence, or trust in them, but some time later I sent pics to their office of the job he’d done he denied it. So they’re taking his word over mine and not prepared to do anything.

Went to buy pool supplies today , drove all the way there from Upper Coomera to find a sign on the door "Too hot !, see you tomorrow " , great business practice for a shop that relies on summer sales to close when it's a hot day , wasn't too hot for me to drive there to spend money , perhaps think about an air conditioner and leave the back door closed with a sign "please use front door , aircon running" instead of telling customers to go away which is exactly what I will be doing ! .

Worst customer service. Corporate office worms trying to get out of warranty jobs. They really don’t like being called out. Incompetent staff with no idea how to find a problem. Broken parts. Excess water loss since installation of there product. Would never recommend again. I should have done a quick search on google to see the bad reviews they have on whirlpool. STAY AWAY AT ALL COSTS.

UPDATE: Staff and technicians have serious attitude problems even though they were in the wrong as they don't have the correct equipment to test for faults.

SHOCKING RIP OFF. Went to pick up 40mm Hydro Valve. 2 older guys behind desk and NZ lady serving. They all made a big deal about how unusual this item was and then pulled a price out of the air of $44 - they just seemed to make it up. I checked my phone and it was $22 most places - raised it with them and they carried on angrily and said "well get it from somewhere else then" - the NZ girl screwed up the order aggressively and scoffed. Realise it is only $22 more but 100%!! Got it for $24 from a pool place in Bundall (was EXACTLY the same item / same brand etc) - together with some customer service that these guys could definitely take some notes on. Rude and a rip off. Was going to ask them about a pool light god knows what figure they would have made up then!!!! Highly recommend shopping around for prices before you go to these guys! Definitely wont be going back there in a hurry.

Always easy dealing with these guys. I don't know a lot about how our pool works and what it needs. I give the most ridiculous of explanations of how it's looking, what sort of spots I have and throw a water sample across the counter and I have always received clear instructions and been supplied only the products that I need. Great people, super easy to get along with and they don't expect everyone to be an expert. Thanks guys.
