I like it, it's a beautiful, safe and family park
Awesome park for the kids. Water park turned on on hot days.
It's a good little spot. Yes, it gets packed on hot days. There are not many covered areas to sit, but a nice little spot

We had a wonderful afternoon with friends at the park. We had a picnic and tried to BBQ but we weren't able to because the cooking area was faulty. Luckily we managed to cook at the BBQ of the aquatic centre. All good.
Kids love it ...
Keep your eye out for strangers though

Lovely big greenspace
Perfect for dog time and for time with the kids

There is not a fence to stop dogs playing with kids in the playground so if your dog doesn't mix with kids and vice versa find a different park

There's some exercise equipment too. Same thing about dogs find a different set of gym equipment if dogs aren't for you.
The nephew loves it. The waterplay area, flying fox, and giant slide are his favourite bits.
Good too take your children or your grandchildren to for at picnic or just go and have time outdoors with them
Great little playground
Absolute bummer. Came all the way here but the water play automatically shut off because of supposed high winds. It's Sydney! There will always be winds.
Council should be ashamed of this poorly maintained park , broken equipment , gate was half off hinges , shade cloth ripped , considering the amount of tourist that visit this park, and being in a rich area ,its a disgrace !!!

Great park for kids, has an area suitable for toddlers & young children & a decent climbing frame for older kids. Loads of space to run around & open enough that you can see the children without having to follow them around.
Also located next to the swimming pool & newly opened Splash cafe, so great for coffee & treats!
One of the best, if not the best, playground of Sydney.

Good playground with equipment suitable for a big age range,
Grass field which can be used to play with a ball when not already in use. Feels quite secluded despite being close to main roads. The kiosk/ cafe at the pool seems to be reopening soon
Great place for the whole family!
A nice and clean park with fun standard equipment and some water features for kids of all ages. Not the biggest park in Sydney but with enough to keep a 1-10 year old busy for an hour or two.

Great for picnics and barbecues, with parking available at the park and nearby. Clean and available bathrooms and overall well kept make this a nice destination less than 10 minutes from Merrickville and Wolli Creek.

Has everything you needed gated with toilet nearby barbeque shaded picnic table!
Amazing community park for kids and families! Good foods clean!
Great little place for the kids. Lots of activities! If in Darling Harbour with the little ones. Definitely have to come here!
Very small playground not fenced but great Harbour views, great location and atmosphere, it's a short walk away from Lawson lawn McMahons Point and McMahons Point ferry wharf, a little more walking to lavender Bay.
Even on a cold rainy day my kids had fun here. The interactive waterworks were great fun, got them working as a team and added some great exercise in.
Nice little park, fenced in. Equipment mostly for smaller kids, but the monkey bars are a challenge for older ones.

Looking a bit tired and worn, but still very popular.

🚻 Toilets right next to the playground.

A gem of a park with a key place in cricket history. Contains a nice playground, lovely pool and oval. Skip the cafe at the playground and go to The Pig&Pastry adjoining the park for proper food and drink.

Okay, cricket history, you ready? Petersham oval is where Don Bradman scored his first century in grade cricket (St. George vs Randwick/Petersham). It also has a mural commemorating Molly Flaherty, the first female fast bowler in test cricket.

It also has a lovely historic gazebo. And check out the street library, two, actually!

And, as of that weren't enough to make you enjoy this gem of a park, read the signage about dogs. It's fabulous.

It's truly hard to believe this park is one block from Parramatta Rd, it feels like you're somewhere completely apart from the city.

Beautiful large quiet park so close to Crows Nest and North Sydney.
This playground feels more like an art installation than an actual play area. It looks great however the small pool of water needs to be drained, otherwise it gets pretty gross.
A great little park, tucked away in one of the back streets of Glebe. It is both dog friendly and children friendly as it has play equipment.
Neat unfenced little playground with shade next to a busy cafe. It has a set of swings and some interesting play equipment (that is a bit harder for toddlers). Unfortunately the water pump area doesn't drain properly and always has dirty water accumulated there, which is unpleasant. There are toilets close by and a grassy area for dogs.

Nice clean park with a generally medium crowd. There's a cricket area, pool (opposite the park with a small cafe). Overall it's a pretty good area for dogs & the general public of families. There is also BBQ's.
Lovely little park with a quiet, shaded playground.

It is a nice cleaned park
Going there every day with my dog.
Like this park it's pretty quiet and we'll equipped and clean. P
Good for young kids. Plenty of shade but no fences.
Large open plan playground with flying fox, swings and trampolines. Shaded by trees and partially fenced along the river. Bbq, picnic tables and bubbler. Rubber floor and woodchip floor.

Water play area is shaded with shade cloths. Partially fenced. Creek bed style water area and water fountains.

Nearby poorly maintained toilet. No nearby cafe. Lots of parking.

Beautiful park for a walk. Upon entering the gate on Brighton St I was greeted in a friendly manner by an older gentleman walking his adorable dog. Heaps of people with their pets can be found here. The plaque on the entrance tells me it opened in 1887, so I felt the historic vibe. Tall well manicured trees greeted me with their shade in a uniform row along both sides of the footpath. Another plaque informs you this is where THE Donald Bradman scored his first century in cricket across the way in the well maintained sports oval.

There’s also the aquatic centre where people were coming for early morning laps in the pool. It’s named after Fanny Durack, Sydney’s first Olympic Gold Medalist in swimming. Across from that is a playground for the kids. All along the perimeter of the park are gorgeous old trees with opulent trunks - very picturesque. A lovely inner city park for walking and recreation!

Making the most of one of Sydney's many playgrounds for the girls. It was so quaint, hidden under a humongous tree & beautifully landscapes. Huge grassed area for dogs to run around.
A beautiful lengthy lane of greenery with a few playgrounds and shelters tucked between trees. Neatly maintained with a bit of overgrowth from above in some places. The grass is green and the environment just feels so fresh and earthy.

Recently done up, surrounded by modern enclosure fence. Safe and fun for young kids. Nice friendly crowd. Some dogs (usually small) sometimes in permitted area across the path from the playground, which can be a positive or negative, depending on if your children like dogs!
Great park. Better than I expected. Very family and kid friendly. There could of been more of the water park features but its a good start with plenty of room for expansion.

There is free driving water. Toilets. Plenty of trees for shade which is great.

I would come here again for sure.

Fun little playground near the shops, it has a few swings and a decent slide not much more but it's great in summer if you have an early dinner at organica pizza for the kids to play on. Or brunch at Brick Lane espresso. My kids love it and the locals are quite friendly ;)
This playground is now known as Robyn Kemmis Reseve Playground. A small playground with a swing, playhouse with slide. There use to be an caged elephant structure but they conderned that off now. All the play equipments are covered in grafitti and looks dirty and neglected. Good for little kids as this playground is fenced off.
Great little shaded park. Good seating two benches and a water fountain. Soft padded play area.

Nice kids playground
Tiny playground. Gated. Has a swing and some play equipment for the little ones. There is a community centre with a sink, pantry and prep area, bathroom that can be booked by calling the number provided on the door.
This is our local park.

It is tranquil with open and shaded areas. The amphitheatre-like topography also means that there are many different areas in the park for people to enjoy, including open grassy areas, more secluded areas amongst the trees, and a kids area with a small selection of equipment under a large Moreton Bay Fig. There is also a self-cleaning toilet.

Much of the park has a slope to it, although there is a flat area at the bottom.
