I ordered a triple bondi burger meal and it was terrible. The bread was soaking, almost as if it had been dipped in water. The chicken was plain and wet. Honestly one of the worst burgers I've ever had. When I had the burger in my hands, it kept falling apart because the bread was properly wet. Also while I was waiting for my food the fat manager kept yelling at her staff while they were taking orders. Never eating here again
We had an amazing experience at La mono. Their authentic Lebanese food is a delight and value for money while maintaining the food quality. Their chargrilled chicken is amazing. Every platter comes with Tabouli, pickles and hummus. Loved the freshness of food.
Excellent middle eastern fare, prompt service, reasonable prices & great outdoor seating. Can’t complain about anything really. We keep coming back here from time to time. The cauliflower wrap, the mono BBQ platter & grilled chicken are our faves.
Grabbed a late lunch/early dinner at Oporto pre seeing a play. I really recommend the burger as a double stack as even then the bun to patty ratio isn’t quite right. I like the oprego sauce though
Spent $8 on a bean salad that smelt and tasted several days off. The meal was mainly cos lettuce and cold chips (which I did not order) I rang to provide feedback and the lady on the phone just said nothing. I spent over $60 on this meal for my family and they are sucking money while not providing decent food.
The guy serving at the front wasn’t very aware of how to simply answer a question when i nicely asked him what time is the chicken cooked, he then told me you are insulting me, i had to him explain about consumer protection act and how as an end consumer i should be aware of what i am being offered and i can ask whatever question i have with regards to the product i am using and paying for.

I love this place. I come after work and am met with amazing food and very friendly staff. All of the food is delicious but the pineapple fritters are the best I’ve tasted. 🤤
Dirty, garbage on the floor and tables everywhere. Staff doesn’t seem to care. Tried to charge me for tomato sauce after giving it to someone else for free. Don’t bother with this place
Ordered a chicken burger without lettuce, got it home and it had lettuce on it. Please be mindful when people ask to remove a item off a burger because they could very well be allergic to said item.
I'm not accustomed to writing reviews, but my experience at Menai Charcoal Chicken was disappointing, prompting me to provide feedback along with an attached photo. Despite paying a grand total of $49.95, the meal consisted of dry chicken and small portions. Unfortunately, the quality of the food fell short of the usual standards expected of Lebanese cuisine. While I wouldn't mind paying higher prices for good quality food, the pricing here seems extortionate given the subpar experience.
Enjoyable meal and efficient service, the Chicken was fresh and hot and the Garlic sauce complimented it nicely.
The great thing I love about this place is that it has dessert options also. The Tim tam shake and Avocado shakes are a winner when you visit.

Great food in terms of the prices. Customer service amazing as always. Most importantly, always super reliable.
Both times I've been here, I have been served and greeted so well.. so unexpected by fast food chain, and it never stood out to me before. So I wanted to leave the compliment and say the customer service at this particular store is probably one of the best for a fast food chain. The counter was also clean, food came out quickly for me too. I think you guys are doing great!
Ordered a chicken and mushroom pie at 12-ish midday, worst pie I’ve ever tasted, threw it away, no time to speak to staff about it.
Not sure if you guys have undergone new management, been a customer for several years, however we Ordered burgers recently 4 with the lot and a chicken burger, all which were put together worse than Hungry Jacks, meat patty was still slightly pink in 4 of them with no sauce and I'm not sure how out if date your Mayo is because my chicken burger Mayo tasted like semen and left a very distinctive tangy after taste at the back of my throat deeming the burger inedible.
Disgusting, not sure if it's because of the new owners, but I had a roast pack, the roast was like boot leather, ridiculous amount of salt, to the point of the roast being uneditable, so much, potato bake was like soup, to much cream, but the chips were nice. I think the recommended star rating should be 2.

I've never had the worst chicken wrap in my life. I have had bad food but this tandoori wrap just broke the record.

I discovered a new favourite bustling Lebanese restaurant! The staff are friendly and the food is so delicious 😋 I recommend the roasted cauliflower, mono mixed bbq platter and you MUST get their homemade chilli garlic dip - SO GOOD I had it with everything! 😍
Ordered a roast pork roll - soooo dry barely edible, also ordered a wrap so average, no flavour . Had to go back to get salt on chips cause there was barley any. Just so average, not worth going back. Save your money.

To be honest we only buy chicken, chips and salads from here and wouldn’t have noticed the change in ownership. All are cooked the same and the salads are exactly the same as well. Maybe the salads are bought in bulk by the shop which is why they are exactly the same.
We often found that the previous owners could be really rude at times and so far we haven’t had any of that with the new owners. As for hygiene I order over the phone and only in the store for a few minutes and I haven’t really paid attention but will from now on.

The burgers are dry and the brekkie deal didn't taste good. Not only was it greasy, the flavor wasnt great either. Overall, I wouldn't have it again

Used to be our go to shop and old staff/owners were excelent. New staff really should stick to uber and taxis. Can't cook and rude. Chips and gravy with hardly any gravy and smaller portions. Another case of someone with more money than brains buying a business and then putting their own untrained staff in there who clearly don't care. When will they get the message? Ruined another great food service. Place needs a visit from the health department by the looks of other reviews. Probably just pull the race card anyway. 🙄 A few fake ones here from their own people by the looks too. Please sell back to the old people! YOU SUCK AT THIS!
First time trying oporto i oder the spicy ricee got not flavour like just eating normal rice not taste not spicy and also i oder the spicy cheese chip there was no cheese the not eevn the spice and chip was soggy this is my first and last of oporto i just waste my money

The lady behind the counter was so rude I asked about adding some bread to my order ended up walking out as her response made me feel like I had done something seriously wrong I have been a customer in this shop for many years absolutely appalled I then called to ask for the manager and the same lady hung up on me ....

I never asked for free bread I asked how much the bag was then said never mind it's too much bread I might just upsize my meal don't worry about the large salad and went to change the order before she had put it through or started.. this lady being the trainee the other lady telling me she is training this lady who we did not ask for help decides to rudely interrupt with a very negative attitude and tone of voice telling me that they do not break up the bread and I must pay for it I never had any intentions of not paying for it and unless I asked you the question how am I meant to know if they break up the bread !?
I then apologise to the lady doing the training who interrupted and explain to her that the toning her voice was making me nervous and that the lady serving me was doing a fantastic job as I wasn't 100% sure what I wanted to order she then replied we haven't got time for these shenanigans in which I was shocked offended and said never mind I don't want anything and walked out so I'm also not sure where racist comes into it but I didn't think it's fair you call me racist when I have been unfairly treated falsely accused and embarrassed and hungry not to mention I had two other people one of them being a kid waiting on food
As for your new trainees she is wonderful polite and well-spoken maybe the trainer should take a lesson from the trainee on how to be polite .
And I apologise for not using names as the trainer refuse to give them to me over the phone!
And an apology for the new trainer I did not mean to upset her but if somebody is micro managing you and make sure you feel uncomfortable tell them to take a step back as i did !

Love their chicken! Generous serving sizes and affordable. Huge range of authentic and delicious Lebanese food. I’d recommend the chicken, fattoush salad, lamb skewers and cauliflower!!
Our go to local take away. They have an app that makes ordering easy. Wife loves the lamb AB. I usually get a burger.

Best chicken shop in the Sutherland shire, I recommend going to, very nice salads Good customer service I’ve ever had, well done to the owners an amazing team they have for customers to feel blessed
Possibly the dryest chicken I have ever tasted. Seriosly how do businesses survive offering such poor quality. To the owner. Try your own food ! I see other businesses thrive with high quality,consistant product. Try it !!!

Went tonight in a public holiday, and even under the pump the service was exceptional, I had ordered through an App which was a bit clunky but they didn’t complain and just got things sorted! Chicken was well seasoned with yummy stuffing. Chips were crispy and salty yumm! No disappointments!
My girlfriend ordered vegge-burger and she is pure vegetarian and in our culture it is totally unacceptable and she got the chicken burger and the person who was serving he the food he even knew that he did the mistake and even though managers knew that and when i go to talk them they literally told that they knew it and just said sorry and i am not faking i do have the proof never ever come and if u come always check I don’t want other people to disrespect any of there culture or religion.

Went through drive thru for chips and this was just abit after 10am waited 10min and didn't get served at all tried to walk in and doors where locked. Website said was opened at 10am instead went to maccas got served straight away.

Had the misfortune of ordering food here for my family. Placed an order direct on the Red rooster app for delivery. At 6.20pm app said out for delivery about 15 minutes after the Order . So all good should be arriving soon. 1hour and 15 minutes no food . OK ring store , Lady manager tells me not our fault food has left the store with driver you must ring them. I explain to her That it is their driver I don't have his contact information. no apology wait 5 more minutes. OK so I wait 35 more minutes no food. Ring again this time Male manager tells me to contact driver (Whilst the lady from before screams rudely in the background) I explain that it is their driver and store and Its not for me to contact driver(impossible ) where is my food been nearly 2 hours. phone hangs up in my ear. 5 minutes later a car arrives cold chips wrong order wrong drink no apology. The people who are managing this business have no idea what customer service is. As for Red Rooster I sent them 2 emails in regards to this matter not a single reply.

Came in after work for dinner. The fried chicken pieces, charcoal chicken and the chips were all freshly made and the service from the nice cashier girl was great (Asked what parts of the fried chicken I wanted when she didn't have to).
Honestly, the fried chicken here is miles better than KFC.

Gross absolutely disgusting no hair nets hair in my food no gloves handling cooked food like chips grabbing chips off the bench insted of putting them I the bins they put them in with your food how this place is still open is befuddling how this place is still open health and safety needs to check this place out not to mention a homeless man came in and they refused to serve him wich needed with the man having a melt down in the shop plus they are over priced DONT COME HERE
Ordered tropical pack and asked that the chicken be half a chicken for which I paid extra. When it was handed to me I confirmed it was a half chicken, they confirmed it was (stupidly I took their word for it) got home to Kallaroo, quarter of a chicken. Rang the contact number, got recorded message, asked for call, have heard nothing... very disappointing 😞

Overall i receive average service and food quality at red rooster woodvale, however recently i found if i walk in store as oppose to driving through. i am met by a dodgy looking homeless lad on my way out who consistently begs me for money and food and if i do not comply he trips me over and takes me zinger box and runs away with it. I have alerted the in-store employees about this and they have replied with “Oh, that’s just ‘Jack’”. I am not satisfied with this result or lack of action against this event. I request the head office look into this more seriously for a better outcome, until then you can expect to find me at McDonalds.

The crunchifried chicken was dry and shrivelled and its temperature was lukewarm,it was inedible it had clearly been sitting there for sometime. The chips were also lukewarm. This seems to be the norm with this chicken treat store in particular. Going by the reviews most people have the same issues but nothing is being done by the store to rectify this happening time and again.
I have tried this kind of food somewhere else but this one was so tasty and cooked well with all enough souse. I got one cheesy fried potato which was one of the best fried I have tasted in this town.
Went through drive through and got served by a handsome hunk of a man named Luca. Was very kind and positive towards taking our order. Definitely brightened up the vibe and will 100% be coming to see this man more. Apart from this great service the food was pretty mid.

2nd time I've tried Padbury - and never again. Should've driven all the way to Carine Red Rooster. Chicken was gross. So oily and undercooked.
With so many negative reviews you would think the business would lift their game?? And maybe try to pass a standard of food to sell to local customers. Have been there 3 times in the last 6 months and the chicken in the Bondi burger has been cold every time. Two of the times the bread was stale. I don't normally write bad reviews, but this store needs to lift it's game
Not the first time this has happened from this restaurant, good was okay but drinks aren’t what I ordered, this has been the 4th time they couldnt get it right, any other place i order uber eats from the restaurant contacts me if they dont have what I ordered yet not contact was ever made on numerous orders

Called and ordered a quarter chicken and chips which the online menu I looked at said it was $9.90… I didn’t want a lot of chips.. so I got that and gravy and the lady didn’t quote me over the phone and when I got there it was $15!!!! I couldn’t say anything because the man who served me was on the phone and I was in a hurry.. the chicken was very nice and juicy, the chips were fine and I personally was not a fan of the gravy.

I usually love this place and I'm not bagging the food. I'm very angry at their customer service. I ordered a chips and gravy through uber eats and asked in the notes if I could get the gravy separate to the chips so they stay crispy. I arrived to collect my order when it was said it was ready and I get told we can't do that or it will be extra. (Not mentioning the fact that ordering through uber I'm already paying more) That's fine I have no problem with that I say to just do it on top. I then had to wait another 10 - 15 minutes because they hadn't even started making any of my order because of the dispute. 1) you could have at least made the other stuff so I didn't have to wait so long and 2) if you have a dispute with something I've requested, call me. Uber gives them your number. Not sure what was going on but I'm very unhappy.

Ordered a MEGA family deal which is around 3 chickens, 2 large chips and heaps of other extras for a family gathering. $95 was excellent value for money and the food was genuinely really nice. The people that served me were very kind as well I will definitely be coming back.
Affordable food, quick service and friendly staff. Do try their salads. I bought a Quarter Chicken Box ($12.75) which after a $5 discount from the app came to be $7.75. Quite satisfied!
Chicken was obviously left over from the day before, it was tougher than jerky. Was so dry and burnt the skin just cracked and crumbled. Looks like they don't learn from reviews either. Going by the rest of the reviews you haven't learnt or changed a thing. I wont be filling in the survey.
Me and my partner have both been extremely poorly today after eating the fried chicken from here last night :( first time having chicken treat padbury and we won’t be back.

The Honest Chicken Belrose is fantastic for any meal as well as catering! I have used them many times for all occasions and they have a wonderful variety with something for everyone. The serving sizes are very generous and the service provided is excellent. Highly recommend this great local Chicken shop!

Overpriced for its location - like a 7-11 in a regional area.

No problem with the food, it’s generally pretty good. However today I asked when there would be more of a certain dish ready & was told by the teenager behind the counter “ no more today “ No apology, no attempt at customer service. Going back 15 minutes later I was told ( different person) “ yes fine won’t be long”. So yes I got our dinner but wonder why you employ people who don’t have any idea of their products & NO idea of customer service.
Ordered a chicken burger meal deal for $16, then asked for a chilli sauce on the burger and told that’s an extra dollar. So $17 later I received the burger that was %80 lettuce with a small portion of chicken. Not a good first experience.

I ordered a salad from here tonight, and when it arrived, my review would've been much different. The salad was inedible to say the least due to a combination of factors. I contacted the store who then promptly made a full, freshly made, incredible salad, addressed the issue very professionally, with outstanding customer service, then delivered to my door. Customer service makes a massive difference.
Set meal menu items are generously sized, making them good value. Gravy is definitely watered down - hence striking off one star. Charcoal chicken, the main drawcard of the establishment, is good. Crispy skin outside, moist chicken meat cooked through.

The bread was stale and uneatable.
The schnitzel - cheap, processed and they couldn't even be bothered putting it in the roll before they wrapped it so I had a coleslaw roll with chicken outside the roll.
The Greek salad.
No olives. No feta. No dressing. I'm not sure they even know what a greek salad is.
The 3 small pieces of tomato were old, the lettuce was okay, butnitbwas hard to judge considering there was only half a handful of it the cucumber was in3 large chunks and 1 3rd of the salad was just onion.
Basically I paid $6 for a general salad. And $8 for a roll. Which ended up being thrown away.
You have 1 star just because I'm surprised the coleslaw was in the right place.

Chicken was nicely cooked over charcoal, chips were excellent really well cooked. Service was friendly. -1 for styrofoam -1 for not knowing your own menu. Store is accessible although the door is a little narrow. No toilets. Will give you cutlery and tissues.
Crazy first day, lines way out the door with people everywhere! They were fast with cooking though and getting people in and out. Very small place to sit and eat, best to find another seating area or takeaway. Very clean and the atmosphere was big and felt packed all the time. Good Oporto to get food from was a great meal and great service.
