Wow! What a beautiful dog park. Enclosed to let your furbabies run around. Be ready to run tho if your doggy runs off, but nonetheless beautiful place to take your doggy. My doggy loves sand and beach life, even in the winter :)

Under construction so only a portion of the space was still open to the public - but if you are looking for a free way to entertain your kids or just get outside for a meditative stroll, Allan Gardens is a gem.
Seems like no one really picks up after their dog here.
Always a great spot to spend a sunny afternoon. Lots of trails and picnic areas with ample parking available. Love that the leash free area is split into a large & small breed sections. Only downside is the washrooms in the park are usually pretty gross.

Allan Gardens is a botanical gem in Toronto! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The vibrant array of plants and flowers creates a breathtaking oasis. The conservatory's Victorian charm adds a unique touch to the experience. A perfect escape for nature lovers, offering a serene retreat in the heart of the city. The knowledgeable staff enhances the visit with insightful information. Truly a must-visit destination for anyone seeking tranquility and natural beauty.

The staff has done so beautifully on the Christmas decorations this year! My favorite theme is in the cooler fish pond house. I love all the pink and green! Of course the turtle's are always such a gift. Watching them sunbathe and piling up on top of each other. I enjoy the turtle yoga and seeing them yawn is just too cute.

Love this park! Many trails. Some up and down if you and your pup are into it. Actually, an Amazing toboggan Hill that I'll be visiting once we have snow. Large open sandy area for dogs to Romp. And of course, right beside the 'human' park with a lovely beach! Parking CAN be a problem, though, so you might want to go in off-peak hours. Recommend!

Lovely place to take the family or your dog for a walk. Lots of walking, hiking and biking trails. Lots of beautiful nature, very well kept and clean. They have restrooms and is a great place to have a bbq or picnic. Would definitely recommend checking it out.

One of my favourite places to bring our golden retriever. Lots of space, nearby trails and creeks, plentiful parking.

PSA: DO NOT follow Google Maps or Waze when coming to this dog park IF you want to park in the parking lot right adjacent to it. It will not lead you to where you need to go. The map directions will take you to the park entrance off Leslie Street (just north of Eglinton) and make you drive through the entire park where you will eventually arrive NEAR the dog park parking lot but will not be able to get to it as it is blocked by a bridge/barricade.

Instead, you should drive to Sunnybrook Hospital, enter the hospital grounds off Bayview Avenue and then make your way eastbound through the hospital parking lot until you reach a road that is surrounded by trees and which has signs that say "No Exit" or "Dead End". That road leads to the dog park parking lot. It is not marked as such and is very hidden!

I can't find nicer words to explain how magical this place is! The staff is super helpful and really welcoming. Loved every second of this trip.

Don't hesitate to pay Allan Gardens a visit. Nobody could stay stressed inside. Just sit by the bridge and watch the water-wheel and turtles forever. ❤️
I love this park.. it's relaxing and the people that come they are very friendly. It's well maintained. Your dog can be free and play without someone complaining .

One of the most beautiful and special corners of Toronto! The Allan Garden Botanivo is a greenhouse garden with a diversity of incredible plants and flowers!

It has two entrances: the first is access to the side of the church and in front of the playground, and the second is the entrance to the dog park area.

The building is currently under renovation, so it is not possible to walk from end to end in the central part, but using the two entrances you can see a lot of species. It has an accessible entrance for wheelchair users and people with low physical mobility.

The garden has a fountain with some carp and a second fountain with some turtles (be careful when walking, as they roam the garden). The tour is worth it and is free.

Easy access from the College subway station.
Great dog park. Has a separate space for small dogs and bigger ones.
Lots of space so fun! Water available.
Nice trails if you are into that.

The park itself seems to be fine… the dog owners on the other hand. Visited twice, both times had horrible run-ins with another owner. Will never go back. Watch out for an entitled racist Karen with two German shepherds who treats the whole park like her own.

One of the best dog parks. It's spacious, sectioned with small and large dogs, several entrances, great dogs and great people. If you don't want to be in the dog park, you can hike around and your dog can go for a dip

An enormous place to walk your dog and a great way to test their recall. Could've easily spent an entire day at this park with the countless areas to explore. Easily worth the drive from out of town.
I have not been to Jack Darling for almost 5 years. Still one of the best, cleanest and safe places for off leash dog walking

Free indoor botanical gardens with different sections for different plants. I love coming here for a relaxing afternoon. Unfortunately their open hours are not that long. Currently some sections are under renovation, so much of it is closed.

Overall very well maintained!

Beautiful garden! Such a nice breath of fresh air in the city. The plants were all so well taken care of and vibrant. The volunteer was so helpful, giving us directions and letting us know where to find the different plants. The highlight for us was the turtles. There were so many!! We spent a solid ten minutes just admiring them. Will definitely be back!
Went here for the first time recently when I was dog sitting as I was under the impression that it is fully fenced and I was not entirely confident about the dogs’ recall. As it turns out, it’s only fenced on three sides but it didn’t matter as the dogs were great.

Note that, despite the address, access is by turning onto 41st ave from 37 st SW and then turning right into the alley. There is no gate and no parking allowed on 37 st SW.

When I was there, the grass was cut very short and was very dry. There’s a picnic table that should be moved under a tree as it can be quite hot there.

As others have noted, not everyone picks up after their dog - there are places where dogs go that are out of sight such as between the bushes and the fence that are particularly bad for this. Having said that, I could only locate one garbage can and it was in the far NW corner of the park, which meant a lot of walking to make a deposit.

A drinking fountain for the dogs would be a nice addition.

It was a great hour spent in a very cute well maintained little garden. There were a lot of turtles and you could stay there and watch them forever. They stacked up and it was very interesting. There were a variety of plants and they were beautiful and worth the visit. The back park was filled with homeless people tho so maybe just stay out of that area.
Huge space to exercise your dogs. JD is a 22 acre fully fenced off leash park built above the Peel Region Water Treatment plant. Having a diverse terrain, you would never guess it’s actually a living roof.
While in the leash free zone, you and your dog can explore natural lush trails, or venture along one of the many up hill paths, gradual or steep. The open pit area is a great place for multiple dogs to play chase or simply run!
There is a fresh water tap inside the park to hydrate your pooch and washroom facilities outside the main gate for the public.
Please respect the park rules & City by-laws. Good dog and people etiquette makes for a super enjoyable experience!

Easily one of the largest dog parks in GTA. Since it's surrounded by sunnybrook and wicket creek you can always go for a walk before or after. What I enjoy the most is that you can always see your dog since the park is flat unobstructed.

C'est un grand parc à chien. Il y a parfois beaucoup de chiens. Le seul point négatif s'est que plusieurs propriétaires ne surveille pas leur chien.
Really clean dog park. Has poo bags tied to fences in the event you forgot bags! The wood chips keep dogs clean
This place has 2 dog parks for small and big dogsand a nice playground.
It also has several tennis courts.
I loved spending time with my puppy here in the ground.

This is my favorite dog park I've visited. Not only is it very large with lots to explore and different terrains, but most importantly, the dog owners we've met here were all attentive and responsible, and the dogs were well mannered.

As for parking, we've never had an issue (and we've always visited on weekends). There are multiple parking lots and even if full, people are always coming and going so we've found it easy to park. There are also restrooms at the 2nd parking lot.

A perfect place to bring your dog on a hot day. Having a separate small/large dog area is great but the fence which separates the area doesn't extend all the way. Being a few minutes away from street parking is a bonus but make sure you arrive early.

Par canin bien aménagé. Côtés gros et petits chiens. Parties Ombre et ensoleillé, fontaine d'eau durant la période estivale, bancs et tables a pique nique. La grande majorité des gens surveillent bien leur chien.
Perfect little dog park, great regulars, solid fence blocking road. Great room for frisbee and lots of running.

Nice medium sized dog park with lots of areas for them to explore. Seems to be pretty immune to mud as it’s on the side of a hill and has a large wood chip section. Also has lots of benches scattered around as well as a small shelter to get out of the wind snow and sun. Not too many dogs here at once

I just go there for the leash free parkand we do enjoy time there with our puppy. They have poop bags tied on fence all the time. I once ran out of the poop bags I had and that was helpful. Nice to get your dog socializing with others.

Great park. Spacious with lots of picnic tables for sitting. Dogs were friendly.
I love this park! Really friendly people and dogs, clean, and someone usually brings water for the bowls that are there. Our new go-to that somehow seems undiscovered and quiet considering it’s on 37th St.
How’s this even considered a dog park? Horrible and tiny
Très bon parc à chien bien équipé dans un grand parc avec d'autres activités. C'est surement un hasard, mais tous les chiens rencontrés étaient sympathiques et bien équilibrés.
Medium park with no running water. Well maintained with a long stretch good for fetch.
This is an awesome area close to home, and has plenty of open areas for dogs to play, with enough shade for them to keep cool. There are also super cool people in the area who leave chairs and empty water bowls for visitors. I love this place.

A nice place to chill and enjoy the summer. Not that busy but might be tricky to park depending on the time you go visit.
Just the right size and place. Two parts that fit every dog. I just wish for more lights at night.
I have to agree with the reviews. This is a small area and there is no green area just gravol. It's a good spot to let dogs stretch out a bit but that's about it.
Was very please with the off leash area and everyone I would walk by were super friendly :)

Dog park with water front access. Large area for dogs to be let off leash. Unfortunately some owners are irresponsible and don't actually watch their dogs to make sure they are behaving properly with other dogs or humans . Overall if you can avoid the bad owners it's a good place to take your pups. The garbage cans are only located in the entrance which also encourages people to leave garbage sometimes. When you see someone do this it's best you give them instructions as to where the garbage is located !

We went on a Friday afternoon. No one was there but as we were leaving more people with larger dogs started to come. I give it 4/5 stars because it would be nice if the had a separate area for smaller/younger dogs.
Très beau terrain pour lacher son fou à nos toutous.

Il y a aussi un beau parc pour les enfants à quelque mètres de là.

Merry Christmas
Great place for long dog walks, both on- and off-leash. Main off-leash area is large, spacious, and usually well populated. City finally installed a basic and reliable water hose to make up for the expensive yet rarely functioning dog fountain. Forest trails on both ends offer additional freedom for pets, with plenty of access to bathing areas. Let the pups roam free!

Be cautious on the southern trail, as the timbered walkpath has become very roughshod. There are many areas with haphazard plywood patches and rotten-through boards. Plenty of places for you or your pet to injure a leg, especially now with all the dead leaves.

Sunny days, or the golden hour on a clear day, provide plenty of beautiful photo shots.
Great quad tennis courts. Depending on the day and time, you can usually play for as long as you want. I like the court reservation system where you can place your racquet for the court you are waiting on. It does need some minor upkeep which may have been overlooked by the City.

Love this park. Great place to let the dogs run and wade. Often grabbed a picnic to bring along and sit and enjoy the beach while the dogs played. Wish there were garbage cans in the park as it's frustrating having to carry poo bags around or keep running back to the gates.

Smallest and worst designed dog park I've been to. Half of this, already very small park, is fenced in and inaccessible. I have no idea what they were thinking when they made this place. This park is only good for letting your pet relieve itself. But given that there's feces littered just outside the gates, for some people, it's not even worth going in for that.

It's a very small and sad looking dog park. Only small stones, not one tiny patch of grass! It's a shame. My poor dog.
There's a beautiful open area, right beside it.. but no love for the dogs. Go somewhere else if you really love your dog. Lol
Ample room for the dogs to run, but due to location, not so scenic
Nice wide space, has a walking bridge to Tuscany, and the traffic on Stoney is very quiet because of the berm.
The Dogs Off-Leash Area is fenced, allows Commercial Dog Walkers and has a separate area for dogs weighing less than 9.1 kg (20 lbs). This park also has bike trails and sports fields all around. Today I found an amazing trail just beyond the dog park that winds around a tree lined area and a creek on one side. It's fenced along both sides and very nice. At the very end it stops but fence is open in one area if people want to continue as many did today while I was there.
But back to the dog park. It's massive, like a little city for your dog.
Nice and empty due to the pandemic. There was a lot of Pooh left but it was cleaned up nicely once the snow melted.

The park is great, but some owners need more control of their dogs. There was a golden doodle that was rough with my dog and and the owner did nothing to intervene. Later upon closer examination I realized the golden doodle bit my dogs face and broke skin. Please be careful with your pups.

This park is hit or miss and it’s not because of the facility. Excellent facility with an area to hide out from wind and weather. My dogs love this park but I was told by a couple “regulars” that my dogs didn’t respect the “hierarchy”? My well behaved dogs do not need to bow to yours because you’ve been to the park more than them. Dogs sniff butts, get over it. Also if you must smoke, PLEASE do not leave your butts in the park.

Great spot to take the dogs for a run and a swim. It's fenced off from the main beach and there's plenty of area for the good boys and girls to go for a dip. Always a good time for some running around and you can take a walk down the boardwalk afterwards or grab an ice cream/coffee/snack at one of the nearby vendors. There's also a Tim's and a booster juice on the western side of the beach. Tucker gives it two paws up.

Great dog park! Lots of space! Not very crowded on weekdays. Nice days on a weekend it gets busy which is fine but parking can be an issue when it's busy. Overall a great place to walk with or without a dog!
Large off leash area by the lake. Great for labs who love to swim. Great place to walk in the colder months as the whole area South of the boardwalk that you can take to get to the park is also off leash all winter.

Great for play dogs
Very nice for my dog
It's a nice park with two base ball and 4 tennis courts , and one foot ball ground. There is a mini fountain for kids to enjoy and a nice walk , it's right across the Erin Mills town centre , adjacent to John Fraser school
Great place to walk the dog off leash, except for the cyclists who dont care and think they have the right to ignore off leash area signs.
Great place for an evening run. Look it for snakes though as I found one there very first time I went there
Nice place for friendly dogs to run, chase a ball, frisbee etc. Trees throughout the park and shrubs along the borders. Fenced in on 3 sides including along 37st. (Busy road) but the alley has only post and wire fence. You need to wach your dog(s) do not stray into the alleyway on that side of the park. We walk our dogs there most days, year round, great exercise for them and us.
Clean, safe, and friendly for bigs and smalls. Just keep an eye on your pooch at the top of the ridge where it backs onto an alley and is not fenced in.
