As tourist, once we saw the roasted ducks hanging we knew this was the place we wanted to eat.
Really enjoy the experience to eat at a place where I know nothing about the menu, ask the server for suggestions and then we were pleasantly delighted.

I don’t like talking bad about a restaurant that has my home country in the name. January 7/24- this place was just me and this other rude customer and we still waited around 20 minutes for our foods so service isn’t good. What made it worse is a new customer came in and waited 5 minutes and got food. This place is cash only unless you want to pay 1.50 extra. The final push was I got hot water instead of green tea which I ordered. The lighting was good cause I came before noon and the Cantonese doughnuts tasted delicious!
Numerous times my order is either missing something or items are "sold out" after i made my order. I use mobile checkout to save time and multiple times I have been waiting 10 minutes or more for my orders to be complete or just to be told that an item I ordered is soldout. Also my order has been given to other people multiple times which then caused me to waste more time. I go to this location during work so time is a big factor.
It's one of the busiest dessert places I've been to! I love the interior and atmosphere here, so vibrant and lively. The menu is straight out of Willy Wonka's chocolate factory - loved it!!

I had a lovely experience here to start the new year. My friend and I went for some crepes right as they opened, and the space filled up quickly as it is a small space. The young blonde lady doing all the cooking/serving was super nice, welcoming and friendly. I appreciate her attentive and excellent service even though it was quite busy! The crepes were delicious (La Canadienne and Parisienne, both great choices) and the tea served in good-sized mugs 🙂 Nice, cozy atmosphere. Will definitely visit again. Happy new year!

As I was waiting for the food to be ready for pick up, one of the member of the restaurant provided me with a small treat. The name of the dish was Éclair Pyramid. It is really unique dessert and tastes really good. Do give it a try.

CASH only beware! That being said, their pastries are super fresh and delicious. Egg tarts, coconut pineapple buns, coconut buns, green onion pancake, are amazing. I would not get their dim sum though, there are better options up north like Juicy Dumpling or Sky Dragon. Dining area can be messy sometimes but for the price, can't be beat!
First time trying items from the menu, and the cake was delicious. A perfect spot for those with a sweet tooth. The coffee was amazing, and the atmosphere is fantastic.
I really love this place! I usually don’t do reviews but it is worth it! It’s my first time here but my siblings been here for a couple of times and they recommend me this place and it’s a must try!! The owner ( I think) is very accommodating. The staffs are very nice, and the foods are SO SO SO GOOD!! The service is also fast! I love everything in this place! And I will surely gonna come back in this place! ♥️

This was recommended to me as a cheaper alternative to juicy dumplings, but my goodness is this place awful.
The dumplings are made fresh... sure, but they lack flavour, seasoning and juiciness (isn't that the whole point?).
They also don't accept card, it's cash only.

I tried the Bobalicious pastry and it was delicious. The amount of detail that went into the pastry was impressive. It's cute and even the cup is edible. I would come back to try other pastries and desserts.
The store had such a pretty, vintage and Parisian-vibe. I loved the aesthetics of it so much, didn’t want to leave. I got the Nutella crepe with banana slices which was yummy and filling! I tried my friend’s Charly with strawberry crepe and preferred it to mine, it was really nice. I’ll definitely revisit soon!!

There is this girl name Maria who is always so disrespectful and confused for no reason. We are regular customers always grab coffee literally everyday. I don’t really understand what is the math and science in understanding the instructions. She needs to learn manners and politeness.she is too dumb to understand the simple words like rewards . I literally said I don’t wanna redeem these points today and would prefer to pay for this coffee and then a kind gentleman offered a gift card literally for everyone in line and asked me not to pay but still she wanted to charge us. Very disappointed with the way she treated us and that also for the second time.
I am a regular at this tim hortons for my morning coffee and let me tell you that the service is disappointing every time. There is one employee in particular, Maria. She is so disrespectful and treats the customers with an attitude. Today, a gentleman wanted to pay with his gift card for everyone in line. She started telling us how we had to pay while she had the gift card in her hand. It was really embarrassing for me and my friend that she singled us out. Everybody was looking at us like we didnt want to pay when in reality we were ready to pay. Overall it was very embarrassing for us and we felt like we were being targeted for no reason. Unfortunately we wont be coming to this location anymore, solely because the server makes us feel very disrespected.
Super busy store that does a good job of keeping up with the traffic. They handle mobile orders fairly quickly so you can skip the line, too. Tim’s is usually very inconsistent, but this location hasn’t done me wrong yet.

Got the tiramisu. It looks very nice, but the taste is lacking. The description mentions both coffee and alcohol but I couldn’t really taste either in the tiramisu.

Perfect place if you’re looking for a cozy cafe. I ordered one savoury crepe (La Canadienne) and one sweet crepe (St. Martin) and they were equally delicious. The food came out fast and was devoured just as quickly. Would definitely recommend!
We visited Demetres yesterday. The place was crowded but the staff was very helpful and kind. They make sure each and every one gets a place to sit. The ambience is beautiful. The service is quick here. We had ordered a tongue depressor. It contained waffles(optional) ,brownie and ice cream. It tastes delicious. A must try.
Amazing food. We always stop here when in Vic from up Island. We even make special early morning trips just to come spend $100+ on their baked goods before they sell out. Always consistently good. Western Scrambler is a must try, yum!

I generally have a poor experience at Tim Hortons, but being served by Anamika really changed my day. It was starting to rain outside, so I made the decision to head inside the mall. When I was placing my order, Anamika noticed that I was upset and respectfully asked about my well-being. I was having a terrible day. It was a small action that made a big difference. She also recommended me a great drink and I couldn't be more thankful. Definitely the best service I have ever encountered at Tim Hortons.
I’ve been wanting to try this place for a while and finally got to get some gelato after dinner. I opted for one of their seasonal gelatos, the pumpkin caramel pie. It was delicious! It was between that flavour and the ricotta rosemary lemon. I did try both flavours before purchasing. Both were good, but I didn’t really taste a lot of lemon in that one flavour. I’m definitely going to return to try the other flavours.
I first heard about DIVG, because their gelatos were served at a Google event. I got to try a variety of flavours and the cheeseboard flavour blew me away. So creative and delicious!!! It’s a must try. I kept dreaming about it, so I had to go to the store and pick up a pint for a night in. While at the store, I got a double scope in a waffle cone (smoked pecan and maple butter tart, and pistachio yogurt baklava). As a frozen desserts connoisseur, I really appreciate the layering and complexity of flavour components. The service was also awesome. I saw they have a gelato tasting so I’ll have to check it out soon.

I love their gelato! Plenty of vegan options and a selection of both classic and creative flavours. Recently had the white peach soft serve - perfectly balanced, flavourful and not sickly sweet! I do love the ambiance as well and sometimes sit there while I enjoy my gelato. A must to visit for all gelato and ice cream lovers.
Holy cow! It's the quality of their chocolate that enhances everything in their menu. My Melt n dip crepe had 3 types of chocolate - white, dark and milk - all over it, which was very decadent. They way they make it makes the dish look very pleasing and is definitely gram worthy. I'm surely coming back to try out their chocolate ice creams.

There is a white guy with spectacles his name starts with L and he is one of the worst employee ever hired by tim hortons. I recently tried their milkshakes and I must say, it was a delightful experience. The range of flavors available was impressive, but I settled for the hazelnut milkshake. It was rich, creamy, and had just the right amount of sweetness. The consistency was perfect – thick but not overly so. What impressed me the most was the generous whipped cream topping and the sprinkles – a lovely touch. These milkshakes truly hit the sweet spot! 🥤😊
I encountered a significant issue with the food quality at this establishment, and my initial visit would also be my last. A friend and I ordered a brownie cake, and upon tasting it, it was evident that it had not been properly stored, resembling food left in a fridge for an extended period. Furthermore, the Italian Sausage I ordered was of poor quality, resulting in stomach discomfort.

Loved our experience at Shake Therapy. All the shakes are amazing and delicious, not too sugary! My favourite was the strawberry indulgence but all the shakes very amazing. Highly recommended this place! Great quantity as well! ❤️

My partner and I visit Melt N Dip for the first time tonight, and I was thoroughly impressed with both their desserts and the excellent service. The dessert options were not only delicious but also beautifully presented. The staff was attentive and friendly, making the experience even more enjoyable. I highly recommend Melt N Dip for a sweet treat with top-notch service and can't wait to come back next time we visit Mississauga!

I have been coming to this dessert spot for over a year. Crepes are filled with quality chocolate, crepe is made soft and highly addictive. Their cappuccino is very delicious as well. I wish their staff was more friendly.

We managed to stop by this place to grab a quick bite for teatime. There were so many choices of freshly baked pastries, bread and buns. We ordered a Pineapple Bun, an icy cold Taro Slush with Tapioca Pearls and some Pan Fried Dumplings 🥟. All tasted delicious!!
Huge disappointment! Their award-winning chessboard gelato was advertised as containing brie and pear as the first and second ingredients but I couldnt taste the brie's earthy notes or pear flavor at all even after eating the whole thing. There are no brie chunks either. It tasted more like ice cream than gelato. Finally, the price on the website was $11.75, yet in the store he sold me for $12.25 (he said there are no taxes).

Girl with brown hair above the shoulders has a big attitude with customers and other staff. I went to simply pick up a slice of pizza her coworker asked her to serve me since she was already taking care of another customer, the girl didn’t bother with me she was fiddling with papers and chatting with the gentleman who works downstairs, her co worker got the pizza for me she asked her to ring it up, she continued talking I asked if she minded ringing me up I had to return to work, told me I would wait so I left. My coworker said the same happened to her same employee…
Cookies here are like magic. They are soft fluffy cakey inside with crispy outside... absolutely delightful. My kids and I love to stop in here for a treat and pick up cookies, and are working out way through the most amazing and creative cakes. The prices are comparable to getting a slice at a a coffee house or even the grocery baker, the quality however is top of the line. Do yourself a favor and visit Daan Go Cake lab to experience one of their amazing creations. We have tried most of the cakes and cookies and have loved every one of them!!!!

Very Good taste try the mango shake it was awesome. The cotton candy is the favorite for the kids. Raman helped out to be very helpful in selecting the shakes.
This is such an awesome place- one of my favourite fully vegan spots in Victoria! The staff are all super- friendly and the space is really cute. The buttermilk pancakes are the best vegan buttermilk pancakes I’ve ever had and the portion is massive. Love Fern Cafe & Bakery so much!

I contacted the location directly about cleanliness issues and they never got back to me, both times. This was after we found a random object baked into our pizza last time we were there and all we got back from the staff was "oh no, sorry!". The Westbury location has equally pressing hygiene issues. Otherwise the food is pretty decent, but I also feel like quality declined substantially since opening.

Great food. Decent prices. Freshly prepared. But.... and there's always a but.. unfriendly workers. Smile a bit, man. Ur face makes the food tastes bad even if it looks good.
Although prices have risen a lot over the years and new competitors have appeared in the dessert space, Demetres has been able to hold its own with their brand of high quality service and delicious offerings. They manage to always keep it fresh and delightful. We never leave disappointed and would always return for more.
this must be the only place that still sells pineapple buns for 80 cents!! All their buns are pretty cheap compared to other Chinese bakeries these days. I only really like the original pineapple bun here as the filling in the other ones are not the best.

A very good selection of bread, pastries, olive oil,… I bought pistachio biscotti and Sicilian oregano that I was looking for , biscotti tasted yummy but not as crispy as it should be ( quite soft) , loved to buy a loaf of bread but their bread slicer was not working , will go again :) pls fix it , lol

A really cool space full of cool people sharing love through amazing food and treats. We stopped here before leaving Victoria and got some breakfast sandwiches and treats. They were really great. I am so glad places like this exist. Be sure to check this place out on your visit.
I dropped by to pick up their new PanDaan cake. It’s so cute and flavorful! The macaron on top was sooo good! The best macaron I’ve ever tasted. You can really taste the flavor. It’s moist and crunchy! No wonder this is popular for its macarons.

A wonderful little vegan café serving delicious all-day breakfast, burgers, and desserts, in a laid-back atmosphere. The pancakes and fried chickun that I had for brunch today were incredible! My husband also thoroughly enjoyed the Fire Burger he ordered. We will be back!
This is a fantastic dessert spot. I tried the Pomme Pilot Liège Waffle, and it was absolutely delightful. The warm waffle complemented the cold ice cream flawlessly, and I loved the apple crisps and Cinnamon Streusel, especially when paired with the Butter Caramel Sauce. The portions are huge and I could barely finish my plate, I would recommend splitting it with a friend. The service was top-notch, and the cozy atmosphere added to the overall experience. My friend and I were really looking forward to trying this place out after seeing the good reviews and cute interior. The food was decent, but what really set this place apart was the awful service. I'd give it 0 stars if I could.
After the server seated us, he just left us be and we had to ask him for water and for menus about 10 minutes in. While we got the water, he never ended up giving us any menus and we had to pull it up on our phones to order. This would've been fine if it was contactless menus but they were given to other tables without them having to ask for them.
After taking the time to think about what to order, we waited for the server to come by, except he never did. We then had to ask if we could order while he was behind the counter and it took at least another 5 minutes before he slowly made his way over to our table, which was situated just in front of the counter where he was. I would've even been fine if he took our orders with the counter between us, rather than just nodding and then not coming over. When he did, he just stood there waiting for us to let him know what we wanted. I ordered the tuna melt while my friend ordered the Caroline crepe.

A few minutes later I heard another employee mention they were out of ice cream. Not even a simple, "sorry we ran out of ice cream", he simply just said "we don't have any ice cream. Does whipped cream work" with the flattest tone I've ever heard.

Came here for the first time and tried the Tiramisu gelato. It was the perfect balance between sweet and salty. The taste was authentic and exactly like tiramisu. It was delicious! The service and ambiance was also good. Looking forward to coming back and trying other flavours

These desserts are truely delicious and unique. I have been giving these as an additional gift for people on their birthday - and it's been a bit every time. Couldn't recommend them enough.

I tried the sour cherry and chocolate (very tart), my friend tried the mango coocnut and lime leaf (very yummy) and we're both lactose. This worked out perfectly!
The options on the menu where "V" is mentioned is Vegan, so there's plenty to choose from :)

Fern consistently delivers 10/10 for friendliness, cleanliness, food variety, punctuality, and flavour. I have NEVER been disappointed in anything I've ordered. Within my first couple visits years ago, they remembered my name - which is so homey, and definitely adds to the experience!
It's always difficult to decide what to order - so my husband and I always choose 2 separate hot meals (so we can taste both), and 2-4 pastries 😁
The portions are HUGE, and easily 2 meals - so the pastries (also huge) are always saved for later.
I usually bring my stroller inside while dining in, and the seating has ample room to accommodate, so we don't have to go sit outside or in the car to enjoy a hot meal.
A friend of mine is gluten free, and said she's had no problem with Fern substituting items in order to accommodate her preferences.
My omnivore friends don't believe me when I tell them that yes, everything you're eating is definitely 100% vegan.

Nice cozy and clean french style cafe here in Yorkville Ave in Toronto.

The only note I can give is that I understand it is a small owned family cafe and when they get busy they will be delayed in their services, so you need to be patient sometimes.

Amazing food, even more amazing service. The bagel was especially nice. They accommodated our many requests and substitutions without hesitation. The only issue is that they don't have too many tables so expect a wait if you want to dine in.
I write this review for Tim Hortons near Walmart Square one, They took my order by mistake yesterday but I was fine with that. Today, when I wanted to receive the new order, I received more than my order, what they did gave me a very good and positive feeling, I thank them.
One of the best vegan spots in town! Delicious food, amazing baked goods, lovely people working there, all around a good time. I’ve brought so many people here lately, vegan & non vegan, & every single person was so impressed & returned to get more! Fair prices, good portion sizes & lots to choose from! I have to say that Youth Opportunities Unlimited is an incredible company because of how they give such fantastic guidance to the people that are going through the many programs that are offered at YOU. The people in the programs are given the opportunity to be able to turn their lives around and give them such hope and confidence in themselves.
Great spot for shakes! Just pass up on the chili dark chocolate shake. It was too spicy, completely undrinkable but their selection is good otherwise. I just wish it wasn't inside another business that sells more on the strong smelling savoury entries.
I will be back to try other offerings from the shakes as they have an extensive collection. The ladies behind the counter are lovely as well!

Beautiful place. Big variety, I like everything I try , except for the cinnamon roll pretzel, or something that looks like it. It was dry, maybe a day or two old. The service was good and fast. I will recommend this place and I will come back to try more things.
Visited this place for the first time this weekend. Ordered pizza, spinach roll, mortadella pistachio panini, lobster tail, Nutella cornetto and coffee. Everything was excellent and so tasty!! The only thing i didn't care for was the mortadella panini with pistachio cream... Just too much pistachio for me taste. My favorite part had to be the Nutella cornetto... Omg... Sooo delicious.. A must try if you like chocolate!! See my pictures!!

I went to this cafe this Monday with terrible experiences. The cashier asked me to pay cash because credit card machine didn't work, but when I back to home, this transaction still on my credit card bill. I try to contact this cafe but no one answer my phone. Don't use any card in this cafe otherwise you could pay your bill twice.
