I wanted something different tonight. I found this restaurant and I am in love with it. We had a wonderful waiter that guided my friend & I on what was what. On Friday & Saturday nights they at times have a live band. Saturday nights is Persian music. And sometimes they have poetry.

The food was awesome! I will definitely be back. A must place to go.

Just Google a cafe and we came across this cute place! I always enjoy sesame anything! Got myself a sesame latte and a sesame pudding! It was so delish!!! Can’t wait to go back to try more on the menu!

Quick service, big plates full of food

Great prices! Wazeri kebab was so good!
Wouldn’t come again or recommend. Waited 10 minutes for a server to take our drink order and another 20 minutes for our drinks. We then ordered pizza which we didn’t think tasted right and had chunks of fat as toppings. The guanciale was not cooked properly it was tough and fatty and inedible. Server was not attentive and never quality checked our food, as we didn’t like our pizza and wanted to send it back as it didn’t taste right or worth the price. We then ordered a side of sausage for the pizza topping to replace the fat originally placed on our pizza. The server just dropped it off without explaining it would come cold and we had to spread it, as we thought it looked off and was raw. Server rarely checked on us overall and food quality was poor.

This place was awesome! Came here with a group of friends and the staff was super kind. The boardgame selection is great and we played for quite a long time. Food is pretty standard but the atomsphere is great!

My favourite brunch spot, it is open from morning till 8 pm. Best brunch and reasonable price. I have been with friends and family, everyone loves it. Great for the summers, if the restaurant is too busy, you can get brunch boxes for take out, very convenient. All the menu items are super delicious and the deserts are recommended.
Super cute cafe with amazing coffee!! There a lot of tables but a few places with plug ins. Its a great spot to work/study. The prices are cheap considering its a local cafe with house roasted beans! I would totally come back and try more of their food :)

My first time here & certainly will not be my last! I went in knowing I wanted to try the buttermilk pancakes but I ended up getting the brunch along with it. It was soo much food but I ate it all. I surprised myself but that's how amazing it all tasted. The scrambled eggs were exactly how I like them and the pancakes did not disappoint. Excellent customer service!

There is a wide variety of Japanese sweets, traditional pastries, sandwiches, iced drinks, and hot drinks. The seating is a little squishy but there’s a very inviting atmosphere. There were so many things we wanted to try, including the berry pastries, mousse, cheesecake, and sandwiches. The chicken teriyaki sandwich was freshly made and tasty. The iced matcha latte also had a very sweet and strong matcha taste, with a high quality matcha.
Love the place and the crew. Paninis and coffee are very well done. Bodi, Emma, Beula, Valentine, Max, Amy, Noah...all of them are wonderful. Highly recommended!!
This is my husband's favourite place to get a light weekend breakfast, and now it's mine through association. The menu is simple, but very good, and made with absolute care: we usually get the breakfast croissant and the breakfast bullet: both are exceptional. The americanos are consistent and delicious. The service is cool and laid-back, which is a refreshing change from rah-rah barista, fake chat. The plants are beautiful and the space, inviting. The cafe also has a really nice mixed demographic of hipsters, older couples and younger families. In my husbands words, this place shows a complete "pride of ownership".

Came here for breakfast. I was first looking at the menu and the online version of the menu. Both Manu are different and didn’t really match so we decided to order with a server. I got scrambled egg avocado croissant (13.50), choco-nana buttermilk mini pancakes (14.25) and coffee (3.50).
The cuts and presentation is amazing. Those the waffle fries was over cooked and very hard . The croissant you have to eat using fork and knife as it’s cut fully in half and you can not hold it in your hard it will fall apart.
Pancakes are okay nothing special to be honest they are not sweet and a light drizzle of chocolate sauce on in.
Coffee was actually good and really enjoyed it.
Wonderful option for people with gluten allergies or vegans. Or both. Delicious breakfast bagels and fantastic Indian food. And best? Everyone I've asked has said they have the best chai in town.
I love the atmosphere in this place. The interior is beautiful, I love the wooden furnishings, white brick, and green plants. It's so cozy here. It's a great spot to study, work, or do casual things like read a book and journal. I like their windows and natural lighting.

There's a bunch of seating options available and I like their coffee. I got an iced latte with oat milk that was delicious. I can't wait to come back.

This is a nice spot to go to in downtown when you have some downtown. Very spacious. I love that they have a lot of wall outlets so you can do some work/studying and charge your phone. I normally get one of the chai drinks but this time I opted for a hot chocolate and it was still pretty good.
Tiny servings, but great quality. I loved the hot apple cider. The cafe is has nice homely feel to it and it's reasonably priced to play the games in their large collection.

This is a good cafe for breakfast, dessert, or light lunch/dinner. There are not too many choices in the menu. But the food is in good quality.
Pay before the meal. Staff deliver the food to the table. Cannot expect much on the service. But staff are generally polite.
Restaurant deco is cozy, but the moving space between tables is not a lot.
Very delicious pasta, I tried the wild boar pappardelle and it was so unique, flavorful, lots of meat and pasta cooked to perfection. The service was super nice, welcoming and friendly!! Such a lovely place overall , will definitely be back!
PS. Dog-friendly patio is also a nice bonus for dog-owners

Nice cafe with a variety of food options. The waffle fries are tasty but it gets a little heavy at the end. The mini pancakes are a little smaller than what I was expecting but the overall portion is good.

One thing to note is that they seem to have a bit of ventilation issue and you’d smell like food after for a while.

Located next to the lake, Music Cafe Garden offers a delightful escape from the bustling city streets. I recently had the pleasure of visiting this charming café on a rainy Saturday morning, and it quickly became a favorite spot for a leisurely brunch.

Upon entering, I was greeted by the inviting aroma of freshly brewed coffee and the warm smiles of the friendly staff. The cozy ambiance, adorned with traditional cafe decor - think Friends Central Perk - instantly put me at ease. The café's pet-friendly policy was a bonus, allowing me to enjoy my brunch accompanied by our furry friend.

The menu boasts a variety of tempting options, from classic breakfast sandwiches to decadent chocolate muffins. I opted for the chocolate muffin, which was moist, rich, and paired perfectly with my hot chocolate.

What sets Music Cafe Garden apart is its commitment to quality and customer satisfaction. Each dish is prepared with care. The attentive staff ensures that every guest feels welcome and well taken care of, adding to the overall experience.

As the weather warms up, I look forward to returning to Music Cafe Garden to indulge in their tempting gelato offerings. Whether you're looking for a cozy spot to enjoy brunch with friends or simply craving a delicious treat, this hidden gem in Toronto is not to be missed.

Overall, my experience at Music Cafe Garden was nothing short of delightful. I highly recommend paying a visit and experiencing the warm hospitality and delectable fare for yourself.

Lovely place to visit. Coffee is rather bitter. I did not try the rest of the drinks. It all depends on the level of bitterness you like in your coffee.
Great experience overall! They have beautiful chocolates <3

We ordered takeout and tried their drinks like black sesame latte, matcha latte, and kinako latte, which were all really good— not too sweet or heavy. Even though some might find them bland, I enjoyed their light taste. The Japanese egg Omurice and toast were suggested and the egg was perfectly cooked with a soft texture. However, the portions were small, even for typical Japanese dishes, and felt too pricey for what you get. This place is great for those who want to try authentic Japanese light meals, but not for those seeking a big meal to satisfy hunger.

This is such a chill and accessible restaurant. Their chai drinks are phenomenal, and the food is very flavourful. There's lots to choose from, too, including vegan options.
I had the pleasure of indulging in an exquisite Italian dining experience at this charming restaurant. The pizza was a masterpiece, featuring a thin, crispy crust topped with fresh ingredients bursting with flavor. The perfect balance of cheese, sauce, and toppings showcased the chef's skill and dedication to authenticity. The tiramisu, a heavenly finale, was a luscious blend of coffee-soaked ladyfingers and velvety mascarpone, creating a symphony of rich flavors. The cozy ambiance and attentive service added to the overall enjoyment. For those seeking a taste of Italy, this restaurant effortlessly delivers a culinary journey that lingers in your memory. Buonissimo!

I’ve been here a few times.

The first time I came here I was on a food tour with my cousins and we were only limited to beverages and the pancakes (highly recommended). Those items alone made me want to come back and try the rest!

This restaurant has a nice ambiance and vibe. Service is good and the food is great!
And Again …. The Pancakes!!!!

My subsequent visits I tried different items and I have yet to be disappointed. The flavours go together so well. And once again… the pancakes. I have made sure every visit to have the pancakes. I have also made a few friends and family members addicted to the pancakes. So if you take anything from this review, pancakes.

I love that they have a huge beverage selection, however keep in mind some items are occasionally unavailable at the time of ordering due to selling out or out of season.

Some other great items are their croissants & gourmet sandwiches. Waffle fries are also a must.

I highly recommend this restaurant!
Bon appetite.
Great coffee shop in the Oliver area. One of my favorite coffee shops in Edmonton. It’s in the Oliver Exchange Building, which is a hip multi-use building with a burger bar, bakery, and take-out food catering place all sharing the space. Great vibes and ambience, with adequate seating and friendly service even when they get pretty busy.

I have been using their Ethiopian yirgacheffe beans that they roast in-house for my cold brew at home for the past year and it is always consistently good. Fruity but balanced without too much acidity. The 2 lb bag is very affordable for freshly roasted beans, and you get a free coffee with each purchase. They also have an espresso roast if that’s your thing.

The food is good but sometimes takes a while to arrive after ordering.

Overall a great coffee shop / roaster that is worth visiting.

Sooo Delicious!!! Different than your regular brunch, definitely worth a try. The wait is a little long as many people go there but the food is worth the wait.
I've only tasted the brunch menu so I can't speak about other items. I strongly recommend trying their brunch. One of the best ones I've ever had.

They accommodate dairy free with soy, almond and oat milk alternatives! Unfortunately they don't carry gluten free fresh baked or meal options, but they did have some artisan packaged snack and chocolate bars that looked to be free of gluten at $8+. I tried both the chai latte for $6 regular and the vanilla bean premium latte for $8 large +$2. The chai was good 7.5/10 but the vanilla bean premium latte was exquisite 9.3/10 - it was so good I mentioned to the barista how much I liked it. It closed at 4pm, but it was Sunday. I would come back just for the vanilla bean latte honestly.

Three critiques for the owner if he reads this...First gluten free options are a must, because many people are looking for this, And Second the tables fit my 15" laptop, but were too small to use a mouse, which slowed my work at lest 40%, and there is only 1 bar and a table (which was full and I didn't see plugs). Either switch to a round table or tables a bit (7" or so wider) so one can fit a mouse. Also the bench needs some cushions. Other then that great coffee, and great service.
Lovely place. The coffee is great (and affordable) and the barista is very friendly. The location is also amazing, just across the street from the Music Gardens.

PS: my only suggestion? Please include at least one vegan option.
I went here for dine out and was excited to try the food here, service was slower than I’d expect but not a big deal, the carpaccio and pizza was really good! Only thing that ruined the meal was the “cheesecake” for dessert. It’s not a cheesecake, it’s a bowl of cream cheese yogurt with the compote on top and a sprinkle of lavender.. I tried it and couldn’t have a full bite. Definitely felt misled with that dish and super disappointed they would serve that as “cheesecake”
Board N Brew Cafe is our go to whenever we want a chill evening with some boardgames. Their drinks are great and they have a good selection of snack food. But the most important, their game selection is fantastic! And the flat rate fee to go and play is awesome.

Lovely little place to enjoy good cafés and good light food.

What we ordered:
• Wanoka Omurice
• Wasabi Mayo Roast Beef Sandwich
• Black Honey Kinako
• Hochija Latte

The Wanoka Omurice was very good. Flavourful, the egg was nicely cooked and very smooth (highly recommend)! The Wasabi Mayo Roast Beef Sandwich was good too, although not really special. The Black Honey Kinako was very good as well. Rich in flavour and yet very light. A delicate delight. The Hochija Latte was unfortunately a bit bland, I've had more flavourful ones elsewhere.

They also serve daily soups. We didn't order any, but from the looks, it seemed good too.

Overall, a very nice place to go to and comes highly recommended!

Excellent food. Good service. General atmosphere is good but washrooms were smelly and unpleasant.

Overall delicious and great value. Would recommend Kim chi fries and the crispy taters! The mini pancakes were great just wish we could swap flavors of them in the brunch!

Very cute little shop and staff was friendly. Unfortunately the tea wasn't very good. I found the slush to have an unpleasant foamy/gritty texture. Maybe I'll try a different combination next time.
This is my absolute favorite restaurant in Winnipeg. The food is always fantastic and no matter what I order almost everyday and I am always delighted with my meal. The owner is awesome guy! As most of the time I order from Uber sometimes I need specific changes in my order but I can’t really comment I hope they improve or let the customers to have a comment while placing order. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to anyone looking for a nice place, delicious and quality food to eat in winnipeg !

I tried Remedy's Kashmiri tea. While the taste was good, it was not the authentic and traditional Kashmiri tea, which I was expecting. It was more of a chai latte type flavour. Moreover, considering the cost, I found the quantity was not enough.

Popular brunch/lunch cafe that serves up unique brunch plates and a wide variety of drinks.

Walked in for lunch, cafe was full of patrons. You write your name and phone number on the paper waitlist.

We ordered the Pulled Pork Brunch plate with tofu fries. It tasted good and easily shareable dish. Sukiyaki beef pasta was amazing. The Rose Iron tea and Creme Brulee coffee also tasted hot and great.

Cafe was clean, decor was contemporary. Background music was a bit loud.

Servers were good. However, service was slow as they prioritized delivery/takeout orders over dine in.

Also, your clothes may smell like kitchen grease as they have an open kitchen.
I ordered the burrata and prosciutto, truffle mushroom pizza, boar parpadelle, and carbonara. The pizza was lacking flavor, and the bottom of the pizza was burnt. Pastas were solid but personally felt like carbonara sauce was curdled. The crostinis served with the burrata were rock hard and cold. The food was quite underwhelming.

First to try this place. Their menu is quite interesting. We tried the tofu cheesecake was hesitant at first but glad we tried it really taste better than the typical cheese cake. Servers are nice and friendly. Just the place though they have limited seats. Place is clean and cozy. Prices are decent.
Busy place, engaging friendly staff, warm comfortable ambiance, good selection of dishes, fast delivery on our meals, and reasonably priced. The bar menu is limited, but there are plenty of Italian style cocktails to try, like the espresso Martini👍 The pasta, especially the wild boar pappardelle, was very good and cooked to "al dente" perfection.
The bartender Hayden and the GM Jeremy took care of us and the service was incredible, it really enhanced our experience!

The baggio sour was delicious and the texture from the egg white took it up a notch. The pomodoro was super flavourful and the meatballs were cooked perfectly. The truffle pizza is our go-to and once again did not disappoint, one of the best mushroom pizzas in Vancouver for sure.

We also ordered the bruschetta, and the first time we had it (in the summer), it was amazing and the pieces of bread were a good size and the tomatoes were diced finely for easy scooping. Unfortunately we weren’t a fan of the bruschetta this time because the tomatoes weren’t cut at all and the pieces of bread were way too small to pick them up.

Overall though, with the atmosphere, the great service, the delicious drinks, and the super flavourful pizza and pasta, we enjoyed our experience and will definitely be back! :)

Very nice café! The staff were extremely friendly and the food was absolutely delicious. I had the almond croissant and matte latte once time and then a pistachio croissant and iced match latte- both equally pleasant!
The burger was surprisingly really delicious. The pasta tasted fresh and had a nice texture to it. Unfortunately there was something I found in the gelato but when I showed it to the waiter, he was very understanding and even took it off the bill after apologizing. Great vibes and food here- would come again.

We tried this place first time for my daughter's birthday brunch and LOVED it! We tried soup, rice balls, teriyaki chicken sandwich, and some dessert and the teriyaki chicken sandwich was so delicious 😋 And their dessert, apparently a Japanese baker is making it, and the tofu cheesecake was beyond our expectations! It was so silky and mouthwatering deliciousness, and the best part was that it wasn't too heavy or too sweet which is what I love 💕 The portion may be a bit small for some people but the food is delicious and the service is great so I'd definitely recommend this place and we're going back soon!

Such a fun place! Huge selection of games which are organized and rated by difficulty. Good selection of food and drink while playing games and only 8 dollar cover fee with no time restriction! Service was fast and attentive, constantly filling our water up. Parking - we chose the paid parking lot about 1 min walk from the place. Not really much street parking. Only other complaint is that the monopoly games we tried were missing some cards or were very old and falling apart

Never thought I’d come to Winnipeg for a quick visit and leave with my heart and stomach so full of deliciousness. The service was amazing, the kabab was superb, juicy and flavourful and the tea was SUBLIME. The tea mixture they prepare makes for one of the best teas ever. Next time I’m in Winnipeg I’m coming back. Highly recommend anyone looking for Persian food to go here.
Menu Attached! Stopped by this cafe for a coffee while in Edmonton. Prices are cheaper than most places but the portions are smaller (~12 oz). I got an iced latte with oat milk. The espresso they brew here has more acidic sharp notes so if that’s your thing, then great! I didn’t order any food, but the portions looked very generous and the prices seem reasonable as well. Would want to come back to try other items!

The most wonderful COFFEE place. But don't forget the amazing food. The pear ginger muffin blew my mind. I am not a big fan of ginger. But it is just right. Plus huge chunks of pear! Their granola type bar, OMG died and went to heaven..plus coffee BEANS and tea leaves etc to get also. Decent prices.
The staff are so friendly and accommodating.
One of my favourites
A great space to meet friends, eat some snacks, socialize, and play games! The booths are comfortable, and there are plenty throughout the space - with tables/chairs scattered as well (and highchairs for baby/tots useage). Great selection of games to play. You can book private rooms if you wish. Staff is always friendly and knowledgeable on the various games in stock. Would recommend to hang out here for an evening for sure! There is ample paid parking lots just down the street from the cafe.

The world needs more coffee shops like this, beautiful aesthetic spaces with damn good espresso. The high ceiling and lovely corner spots as well as the outside space make this a wonderful spot for all, couples, solo, getting some work done.

I had a fabulous americano misto, and their chocolate and other offerings are great too.

Wonderful warm service. Such a great spot if you love a Cafe experience at coffee prices.
we spent a pleasant night. They have a wide variety of games, private rooms if desired. The food is quite slow, but it is compensated by the fact that one is entertained by playing. We were treated very kindly and friendly.

Great location but unfortunately did not enjoy the coffee as much. Ordered an iced latte and an iced americano that was very watered down.
Fresh food, great atmosphere, and good coffee! This is a great place if you are looking to stop in for a quick lunch, coffee stop, or a place to sit down and study. There is lots of open windows and greenery inside which makes it a very comfortable and relaxing environment to sit in. The food has been amazing every time, I have eaten their veggie burger which was delicious, as well as quite a few different soups that they have offered (different soup everyday) and they have all been delicious and many vegan options, which is amazing. The staff as super chill and welcoming and makes the entire place even better. I would definitely recommend this place as somewhere to go if you’re looking for the best of downtown Edmonton!

After having Tim Hortons for lunch for an entire week, I decided to give La Prep a try. It definitely feels like a big splurge in comparison to Timmies prices but it's a franchise and I would imagine it's the same prices across the city. Food here is gourmet, and it's now my go-to place for my favourite London Fog. Will continue to visit~

Credo used to be on the front end of new age coffee services in Edmonton. In only a few years though, it is feeling a bit dated. It's still a very hip java stop with a modern flair. It's also on the busy 104 Street strip in Edmonton that's going through a major renaissance.

The service is great and the coffee is lovely. The food is ok...nothing spectacular. Everything is good...it's just missing that something special that gives it a little more character or unique vibe.

Otherwise, four stars.

Cozy and budget friendly cafe with decent food. Although it would be better to have a staff member appointed just for recommending and explaining the games. Most of us are new to most of these games. Reading through the rules or understanding them from YT is not always preferable. Better to have a go-to person at the cafe for this.

The kashmiri Chai with pistachios and rose petals was amazing though it was a bit on the sweeter side. So the next time, I asked for half the sugar and it was perfect. Service is slow but I think it's worth the wait. Prices are a bit steep for the drinks but not bad for an occasional treat.

Excellent homemade Columbian food. Had a delicious lentil soup and chicken empanada. The owner was very warm and welcoming, and we had a great conversation with her. I would highly recommend this place!

My three favourite things are coffee, muffins, and chocolate, and this coffee shop has the best versions of all three! You'll be amazed if you try the mocha with jalapenos muffin! The staff gives it a score of 100/10 BEST ONES EVER!🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
The Colombian empanda is my favourite! The sauce is very tangy, which I love since it reminds me of Sinigang (filipino soup). The Affocato is also very tasty! I reccomend stopping by this cafe :) The customer service is very sweet and friendly there too

Very enjoying Teas!! Here you can get fresh to Go Tea with many different recipes to choose from. So far the Mango slush is my favorite! And also would suggest no purls in the blue berry slush!!

Really cute little space. Friendly and efficient service. Fair prices. I got a latte and it's very smooth. They have remedy Chai here as well as lots of little candies you can normally get. I am excited to come back and try the food!
Second time here, and owner treats me
like family!
Had the empanadas first visit: beautiful! Homemade and authentic!
Second visit: had the most incredible tamale! Chicken with bone in, and flavourful maize / rice mix. All served in a maize husk flower! Beautiful presentation, excellent flavour!

After asking what was popular my Mom ordered Mango Bubble Tea and I ordered the Milk Tea Bubble tea. The price was well worth it for $5.25 each for a regular sized bubble tea. It wasn’t too sweet and had a lot of tapioca. Will come back!

They make the best Cafe Latte in the city. Plus numerous other standard and exotic coffees. Latin American theme. I'm here at least three times a week for coffee plus lunch about once per week (delicious Colombian fare). The owner is really sweet and the place is cozy. Check it out!

Absolutely good experience having lunch here. Foods are tasty and healthy. Crews are friendly. People come here not only for picking up a coffee or sandwich or cake but also having a short conversation with the crews like old friends.

I tried My Tea a while back based on a friend’s recommendation. It has a very calm/cute atmosphere and the drinks are decent (more slushy like than bubbletea though) - it’s worth to visit if you want a break from walking on Whyte Ave. I’d rate them a 7/10.

Always enjoy a well made coffee here. This is a excellent place to meet someone or just stop in and have a great tasting coffee beverage. All the different coffees are made and have a great flavor and taste. Also the muffins make a great side as you enjoy your favourite coffee. Staff are friendly and personable. Place is clean and has great people watching windows. Small patio for when the weather is good. Located above Bay Street Lrt. Worth a visit.
Iconoclast is set up in an incredible spot in Oliver. If you can find parking, you will be rewarded with amazing java and try some of their house made treats as well. Highly recommended. I come here often!

Service is friendly. And the space has a cool vibe. You can also use the open space in the OEX hallway or the patio in the summer.

Overpriced food because it's considered extra healthy. Salads are ok, soups are good, coffee is fresh. Staff are helpful.
Very friendly service. Picked up a mocha today and there was a choice of hot chocolates. Server also asked if I wanted it thicker or thinner. Really nice atmosphere with comfortable seating and good magazines on hand. Worth taking your coffee break here instead of standing in line at one of the chain shop.

The fresh breakfast wraps are delicious and the breakfast special is less than Timmies for a better quality product.

To anyone without a deep connection to the emotion of music, this might simply look like a somewhat pretty garden but nothing more. Having an appreciation for the piece it was inspired by will add a whole new dimension to its features. It will delight your soul.

the food is MICROWAVED!!! come on people. There is an older indian woman there who never wears gloves and handles quiches etc with her bare dirty hands. The only thing fresh there is the dam fruit cup that you cant afford.
