We (my son and I) were looking to buy a futon and luckily came upon this place!
The service was exceptional. The music was even good..lol.. The sales people we very nice , helpful, honest and professional. We purchased a futon with the works..cover,high quality mattress and pillows. There was a little imperfection on one of the arms that was addressed and taken care of immediately.
My son has been using it a his main bed and sofa and it's held up well.
Hats off to Christian who took his time explaining everything and giving us his recommendations. He didn't try to sell is the most expensive futon just one that would suit our needs. I highly recommend this place. You will definitely find something that suits your needs here!

I bought a mattress here not too long ago and going in I was worried that it would be a lengthy process, but to my surprise it was quick and easy. The staff was very helpful and showed me many different options. The delivery was next to seamless, I am very pleased with this place! So far, the mattress is very comfortable!

Owner refused business due to deposit refund during COVID. Business took full deposit ($4,000) and didn't deliver due to manufacturing process bottleneck for 7 months, which is understandable. I asked if the products are actually produced, owner said no, therefore I asked for a refund so I can look for other products. Called recently about manufacturing time and planning new purchase, owner refused to serve me quoting the deposit refund experience.
Re: owners' response: I acknowledge it was a difficult time for manufacturers, but it is also difficult for purchaser as well who had put up full-amount cash. The lead-time in advertisement was 3 months, I gave them double the time extensions and I was told that there is no expected time I would get my products towards the end. It is one thing to have a long wait, but another to have people holding on to your cash and no products in sight (I operate a business too and during COVID I returned deposit on items I cannot fulfill within a reasonable time, by the owner's logic, he would have hold on to your deposit even if he goes bankrupt. It's called counterparty risks control when a business cannot get inventories but are still taking deposits.). In addition, I made sure that no custom products were actually made before the refund. I did not post a negative review back then due to the respect I am given to the business since I know it is something that either side don't have control over, however I see that this is one sided.

I have been purchasing mattresses here for years. I’ve invited friends family furnished over three homes. If you want a mattress at the right price and the right quality, this is the place to come. But you have to test the mattress in the store before you buy to make sure you have the right firmness for your needs are looking forward to buy from here again.

I'm getting the best sleep of my life on a eucalyptus+cotton shikibuton and tatami mats from Futon d'or! The staff were incredibly patient with all my questions, they helped me fix a last minute mistake in my order, and everything arrived quickly and well-packaged. I love that it can be stowed away during the day (currently just stacked in the corner as pictured), and the tatami feel delightful to sit and stand on.
The shikibuton does also zip open, so in theory you could refurbish it with local materials if needed, though I'll probably just contact them to purchase a new one when the time comes.
I cannot recommend them enough!

If you value timing, avoid dealing with the Brick. I bought a mattress set from "Saint-Hubert 1451 Boul des Promenades." But on the delivery date, when I called to inquire why I hadn't received anything, they said the delivery date had been rescheduled and no one had informed us of the change. I'm really annoyed by their timing.

They scheduled the date and 3h time slot to deliver the appliances, but on that day, we found out it’s missing a few appliances. And we already schedule someone to install everything (after that 3h delivery time).
Called a guy called Erick Brais to solve the issue, but he keeps gaslighting us, saying “it’s not our fault you guys scheduled installation on the same day”. Isn’t it your fault that you didn’t deliver all the appliances as promised?????? Now it’s our fault????
Oh and another thing..so we set up a second delivery date (for the missing appliances). We called customer service the day before, just to be sure, and they didn’t schedule it at all!!! If we didn’t call, we would have to wait for nothing, again!
So basically, everything went well when they try to sell you stuffs, but they don’t care about anything after. If you can find another store, please do so :)

The worst store I have ever bought from. They do not accept any responsibility for the sale of goods after sending them and do not respect their customers. I bought a mattech mattress and box spring (made locally) here and it's the best mattress I've ever had. My previous mattech lasted 15 years and is still in great condition but I needed a bigger one. They're no longer reversible but still really high quality., super comfortable and esp recommended for bad backs. Got a great deal and free delivery, very efficient and pleasant.

Today I went to Brick in Saint-Hubert around 3:00 in the afternoon to buy a sofa knowing that I live in Saint-Laurent based on a call from a friend of mine who informed me that there were discounts. Indeed, I was able to find what I was looking for (I will put a picture below). The sofa was $1,698 and after the sale it's $498. Dollars. Indeed, I decided to buy it and asked the responsible person in that department (salesman), whose name was Willian, to complete the procedures. He told me that the reason for the big discount is a defect in the sofa’s mechanism. I told him that I had examined it and that it looked good and there were no problems with it, and that I wanted to pay for it immediately. Willian examined it, and indeed, he did not find any defect in it, and he showed signs of astonishment. He took my address and asked me if I wanted to extend the warranty for a period of five years, but I refused.. Before I paid the price, he spoke to someone and then told me that unfortunately the sofa is sold. I am not a small child and it is very unprofessional for me to be treated this way. i know that the sofa was not sold and that perhaps the person wanted to buy it for himself by discovering that there was no defect in it... or that something was wrong on their part and they wanted to withdraw the offer under the pretext that the sofa is sold. The basis of business is trust and honesty, and this I did not find in my dealings with Brick... Yes, I cannot force you to sell me that sofa, just as losing a customer means nothing to you. But I have to record my observation, may it reach your administration. Unfortunately, you wasted my time and I am very disappointed....

Do not buy from this company, specifically the one in Longueuil, I bought a bedroom set from them in May 2021 the set I wanted wasn't available, they charged the money on my credit card and never put it back. I've been calling Pietro the sales person he never picked up my calls and his voice-mail is always full. We bought a L-shaped bed couch for a good amount of money. We then realized the fabric was glued on the coussin, which then of course unglued. We were also suggested to take a memory foam mattress, the thing is very uncomfortable, not worth the extra money at all. It's been now three months and we still waiting on a resolution. I believe the worst part is that the after sales are not handled by the store. I'm this close to just go dump the thing in front of the store. Bad service and bad products.

Terrible Experience. It was the first time I bought on this store and I would not do it again. I bought a marbel coffee table that was on exhibition they delivered it BROKEN and they said it was like that and I MOST PROBABLY didn't see it. They don't understand the client needs at all. Each time I called to the costumer service they were supposed to called me back which never happened. I end up going to to store and the only solution was a credit to spend with them. I am sure you can find something nice somewhere else for the same prices and not broken.

We purchased a queen Beautyrest pillowtop mattress in 2017 for under 300$. The man who served us was very helpful and explained the price was so low for this high quality mattress because although it was new, there were small imperfections on the edges (scratches in corners that does not affect mattress). We were newly married and on a budget, so we quickly bought this inexpensive mattress thinking we would keep it for just a year or two. But 4 years later, I felt I really needed to leave a review with recent photos to show how AMAZING this purchase was. As you can see, our mattress looks brand new 4 years later!! Like some reviews mention, yes it's true that the delivery was a bit of a mess (the guy didn't show up the first time) but for 300$ instead of 1000$, we were very understanding as the owner apologized and made sure we received it the next day. People just need to remember that this is a LIQUIDATION WAREHOUSE CENTRE where you can save hundreds or even thousands of dollars, so don't expect to walk into a fancy bougie store where specialists will assess your back problems and help you get the best mattress for your medical needs! This place is not for picky customers. It is suited for unfussy people who need a mattress quickly at unbeatable prices. We wish this honest business great continued success!!

I bought a washer and dryer from this store. They worked disgustingly, the dryer burned holes in synthetic clothes, so I only sewed cotton clothes there. The dryer also worked for a very long time to dry, and every other time it simply turned things with a fan, but without hot air. As a result, when the washing machine broke down, something unscrewed inside and it began to jump during the spin cycle, I called the service, which constantly does not answer calls. I left a lot of messages and never got a call from them. I really do not recommend buying equipment from them - it's just a loss of money and a headache

I had to wait months for my couch and ottoman. add in about 15 calls about 2 hours lost in being transferred, kept on hold and having to re-explain my situation to so many people. I finally get my delivery date set (for the 2nd time because I was told a date that wasn't respected) then the day I'm to receive my couch I get an email that stipulates that my ottoman is back ordered (when I was told it was in stock) then I have to repeat the numerous calls and run arounds to figure out when I can have it delivered, I was told a date my item would be in and that I needed to call back and I did, when doing so I was AGAIN told that it hasn't come in yet. In the end I had to physically go and pick it up myself, which is fine because in doing so I would save a wait of 5 business days. I get my parcel and once I open the box the ottoman was filled with rips and masking tape that was directly put on the leather material!

I had purchased 5 major appliances from Economax back in Nov 2020. I was told that everything would be in stock for my move date at the end of Dec 2020, not to worry.I am currently still without a fridge. It's now 6 months and they refuse to offer any kind of compensation or even a loaner fridge for the interim. The replacement fridges they offered were not the measurements I required. It is impossible to get in touch with anyone! There is no direct number after purchase. After asking my salesperson Alexis Drouin to speak to management, not once did the manager, Karine Baillencourt, reach out to me. I finally was able to get in touch with her today and basically she couldn't care less. I cancelled this order and got a refund! I have now purchased a second hand fridge.

I have never seen this terrible service in my life! In March the first time they have forgotten to deliver my fridge. When it was delivered I discovered that it did not freeze. I bought a new one! I called them. They sent me a technician only in a week. I had to buy a mini fridge. They took mine and gave me a temporary in two weeks! I was only with my mini fridge during all the time. Then they delivered me a fridge. But it was not mine!!! Several days ago they delivered my fridge! AND IT IS NOT FREEZING! THEY DON'T WANT TO RETURN MY MONEY!

Very helpful staff who let me scout past closing time by about 15 minutes. :) Mostly pricey mattresses, still some had mediocre pricing. Cool pneumatic and electrical adjustment devices on some displays. There is great diversity in mattress firmness and softness, with mechanical adjustment ranging from slight curves to full 25°-35° bends. Some foam, some box springs, some weird gel technologies, and a mix of any of these. There are also duvets, some pillow raisers, and fun squishy gel squares on display(to show the tech in the most expensive types of beds and pillows) which are fun to poke at. Yes, I felt childish doing it, and yes, I would do it again it I went back.

I selected a stove in store but they didn’t have a fridge that was the size I needed. The gentleman said he would get one in the next day and convinced me that it would be in good shape and everything. I felt like I could trust the guy so I paid for the stove and the fridge even though I hadn’t seen the fridge in person. I asked for both to be delivered a couple weeks later (my moving day). On my moving day I called to confirm the time and they told me I had never scheduled a delivery. On top of that, they said they did not have a fridge for me! They promised they would get one the following day so I agreed to wait for the delivery. The next day I had to follow up with them and again they had no fridge. At this point I asked them to at least deliver my stove because I had nothing. Since I had no fridge for days I had to throw out most of my food. After following up with them every day they finally “received” the fridge and came to deliver it. Right away I could see the fridge was disgusting! Looked like they picked it up off the side of the street. It was not clean and it was in bad shape. I made a note on the delivery guys invoice and called the salesman the following day to complain. He was not available so I left a message. Once I finally heard from the salesman he said there was nothing they could do. I paid in full for a white 24” fridge and that’s what I received. They did not care that it was terrible quality. I let it go cause at least it worked and I didn’t want to argue. Low and behold, a few month later the freezer stopped working.
Long story short, do not trust these people! They are scammers.

Very high quality futon mattress, round bolsters and custom made cover turned my old dumpy looking futon into a very slick looking piece of furniture. I ordered it all online. The staff were super helpful and professional. They have tons of fabric choices for the cover. They even sent me swatches since I was from out of town. They have their own delivery people who made sure I would be home when they arrived. Everything is extremely well made - and all made in CANADA to boot. Totally recommended.

UPDATE DEC 21 2021. I still try to get repairs when i pass by nearby the store. In the last year since i posted this i have been at least 3 times regarding this issue. They are still understaffed and somewhat vexxed once they find out you are not there to purchase anything. Their attitudes' still short despite me biting my tongue when actual anger would have been warranted a long time ago.
Every single time they say they cannot do anything to help you and that you MUST call their after service department. They assure you you will be helped (good old run around tactics...)I am now convinced the after-service department is non-existent. Never any answer, never any replies to messages or emails and literally no sign of life from them to indicate they in fact are a real functioning department let alone a viable solution to any problem you might have.
I ended up finding my own upholsterer for my initial problem; however, i now need a mechanical repair which sent me back and NO ONE can help me. The part i am looking to repair MYSELF seems to be sold out everywhere online so i am now obligated to deal with the store (AS PER THE LAY Z BOY WEBSITE). I spent thousands on these couches after hearing from anyone and everyone that la z boy has amazing service and support if you ever needed it so i am baffled and the experience i am facing.
Let's see if 2022 brings more luck on this issue.

After purchasing a few main appliances from here, I can confidently warn you to stay clear unless you are leaving this store with your items in hand. The items are not what I am unsatisfied about, but their service is one of the worst that I have ever experienced. I understand that they are not business as usual considering the pandemic, but they have zero empathy or professionalism. At first, they refused to deliver any essential appliances to me considering they were floor models - if the stores didn’t open then I would be without a fridge and stove until they do open. Economax told me to simply buy new ones at full price without including my already negotiated protection in the new items... then one item arrived rather damaged & I went to the store in person to take care of this. The store sales manager was rather helpful and offered an exchange for the exact same model (since they had one on the floor again) and I accepted even though I knew it was too good to be true with my experience with them. I didn’t hear anything for two weeks for the delivery, so I reach out once again and I was told that I did not accept an exchange, rather I accepted compensation? Which I am sure would be pennies from them nonetheless. With this being said, I had to speak to a few people but was finally told that they are not doing exchanges during the pandemic, which I completely understand but this could have been communicated to me during my conversation with the manager of sales, I am unsure of how she was not aware of this herself. So I am now awaiting for an unknown date for the exchange to take place.
I must say, I appreciate all those working during a time like this. But Economax needs to also understand that this is a difficult time for their customers as well and must adapt to that. Rather than adding more stress.

Great experience purchasing a custom made pull out bed couch with an "L" piece with the color I chose. The delivery service at Ameublement Beaubien is not white-glove, but the furniture was easy to assemble, the color is exactly what I wanted and the couch was delivered right when I needed it. I recommend this store, their Sales team is super approachable, unlike other more commercial spaces.

CUSTOMERS BEWARE!!! I was sold a $1,400 king size bed frame as standard size on which no standard king size mattress fits. The 4 inch gap between the bed frame and mattress (see pictures) is a major liability as I get in and out of the bed. I trusted the sales lady and ended up being lied to. Overall I found the sales people to be aggressive and with minimal integrity. Senior manager of the store was no different to his staff. Once you part ways with your money you have no chance to change your mind (even if it’s the next day and you hadn’t received the item). Quality is substandard and does NOT reflect the money paid. I would highly recommend to stay far far away from this company!
UPDATE: Bed frame broke 3 years later. Threw it in the garbage. Cheap quality, super expensive price from the one and only JC crooks!!

A really great company! We have purchased our third appliance from them recently and they are always very helpful, nice and informative. They offer good products at good prices with a warranty and easy delivery (they ever deliver on Saturdays!). Will also go to them for our electronics.

To me, meubles Loren has become my family. I got here in Canada a year ago and I wanted to get good quality furnitures that will help me start a life. That's what they did for me. I was heavily pregnant and had no strength/time to look around. I went straight to Meubles loren hoping to find smthg good. Mounia, a very beautiful and kind lady that works there, was just an angel. She helped me choose the best quality at a reasonable price! The owner Pietro, a very good person as well. He completely understood my situation as a new comer and tried to help me pay with a flexible payment plan that fits in my budget!!! I would never shop any where else!!! I bought a red couch for about 1000$.... it took them 10hrs to deliver it..... once arrived the delivery guy just dropped the box saying have a good day..... I cant put the couch together because the pieces are not good..... I went and bought a drill and a machine to break screws and still can't put the couch up.... so I called asking for someone to come and install it and they cant do anything about it apparently it aint there problem no more

The best customer service I have ever received. Anthony, the manager, is one of the most professional, friendly and down-to-earth people you will ever meet. My entire experience with him and this store has been absolutely positive from start to finish.
Due to my lack of credit history in Canada, I had some trouble trying to pay for my mattress monthly (with no interest, I must add!) - although, this had nothing to do with the store and was completely my own personal problem. However, because of that, I had many interactions with the store as I was sorting out my finances, and every single time, Anthony was very patient and understanding and really such a gentleman about the whole thing.
THEN, when I received my queen mattress, I decided I wanted to upgrade to a king size, and Matelas Bonheur were able to arrange a pick up and new delivery immediately, I was absolutely amazed. I am now sitting on my incredibly comfy king mattress and I am SO happy with it and with how this store has treated me, I honestly couldn't have asked for more. Just perfect, keep doing what you're doing!

I called to get information on a chair (I was initially planning on buying more than 3 dozens of it), and asked for delivery delays and pricing while I was on their website looking at it.
The employee, unable to find it, pretexted that I was on the worng site, this chair didn't exist, that I didn't know how to use their website, well, only charming words. No effort whatsoever, to finally end up with a: ''god you are so complicated, just buy your chair somehwere else'' and hung up
All that, in less than 2 minutes.
The morale: follow the employee advice, and buy somewhere else
