Been visiting this walk-in for nearly 3 years now. It’s closer than my family doctor and doesn’t require an appointment, the wait can be long sometimes if you don’t have a appointment as there are many people who come to this location but they are open weekends which is very convenient. I have never had a negative experience here. I have a regular injection every 2 weeks that I have to have done and they haven’t ever given me a hard time about it. I think I’ve interacted with every doctor/receptionist/staff in the building and they are all great. Also have the option to pay $ if you don’t have an Ontario health card to see a doctor. I’ve since moved away and I travel 30 minutes to come to this location because I’m confident in their practice and know I am always in good hands. Oddly enough after 3 years I haven’t become familiar with any of their names, but the Filipino lady that works the front desk and the lab is the best! 😂🙏

Great clinic! The place is clean and people are friendly. The receptionist was very professional. The doctor was nice and accommodating. I felt comfortable asking all my questions.

Dr Khalil was condescending and disrespectful. He treated my mom like an ignorant because she doesn’t speak english fluently even though I was always in the room to translate. He even mocked her when she tried to answer a question on her own.
We were there twice and both times he was rude. He didn’t allow me to ask basic questions about medications he was bringing up. On our second and last visit, we literally left the room because he raised his voice at me when I asked him not to mock my mom.
He should NOT be allowed to practice medicine.

I've always received great care. My family doctor is too hard to reach for immediate attention so this is my go to for seeing a doctor.

There is no walk-in even though the giant stickers on the window say WALK IN CLINIC. Told me to call them so a doctor could see my 2 YEAR OLD. Useless waste of TAXPAYER money.

I chose this clinic because they had great reviews and I have been their patient for almost 5 years. The doctor, nurse and receptionists are all friendly and welcoming. Definitely recommend to other people :)

I've been to this clinic twice now. Today when I went the receptionist made sure none of the patients were standing for too long by making the process efficient. I appreciated this as a lot of injuries are not visible and patients could have a seat instead of standing in line. The doctor assessed me and was able to deal with my situation and my questions dealing with the situation. He speaks a little fast because he has a lot of patient's but he didn't rush the care. I would recommend because of the other services also provided from this easily accessible location. Only challenge I had was getting to the receptionist when I tried calling, but I can't lower the score as that may just be a "me" problem.

I want to Thank the staff and doctor. Beautiful clinic with a wide array of resources. It was quite busy around 3pm, try to book your appointment in advance prior to 3pm. It was about 30 min wait time but some people waited shorter and longer. The doctor actively listened to my concerns, did a thorough assessment and helped me to continue with my health journey. Thank you again to the whole team.

Very happy with my experience in this clinic. There’s little to no wait time for walk in appointments. Dr. Ng is great, I have seen him for different problems over the past few months and he is very thorough, listens to all my concerns and explains everything perfectly. After all these visits, I’ve been more than happy with all my appointments and experiences in this walk in clinic. The pharmacists here are also very helpful and thorough.

My experience has been very positive. The pharmacist is smart and compassionate. Several issues were cleared up just by having a conversation with him and having a few meds switched around. I felt well looked after.

I have never dealt with such unprofessional secretaries in my life (coming from someone who has worked as a medical secretary for years). They make it close to impossible to book an appointment. Once Dr. Syed sent me to the hospital for urgent xrays and ultrasound to determine if I had a blood clot. The hospital told me to call the clinic back that afternoon as they would be able to tell me the results within a matter of hours.
I called, the doctor was not in. I told that incompetent secretary this was urgent and I just needed SOMEBODY to tell me if I had a clot or not. Get the janitor, I did not care. I never found out the results and that was in April.
I HAVE talked face to face with Dr. Syed about the incompetence of his patient facing staff, he quickly disregarded me.
More recently, my husband was put on a new daily rx med. When he called to ask for a phone appt because he was running low, the secretary SCOLDED him and told him he needed to be more responsible as he was an adult. Thank God my husband had the quick thinking to tell her off and explain this was a new med and he has never been on daily meds before. She then apologized, but how do you have the nerve to tell a patient that?!
A phone appt was made with Dr. Syed. The clinic calls my husband to ask if he's still coming in. He explains it was a phone appt. Ok, so another appt is made. No call. Make another appt, a random doctor calls, someone who I was unaware was even associated with this clinic.
Yesterday my husband has ANOTHER phone appt. He called around 3 to ensure he is still on the appt book for a phone appt. He's told the doctor has until 5 to make calls, makes sense, those are normal business hours. 5:15, no call. I leave a voicemail explaining how upsetting this is as this is not the first time this has happened. The doctor calls my husband at 7:10pm!
Then the secretary calls me today at 10:30 am to say "you left a voicemail about something?..." (at my office, the FIRST thing we do in the morning is listen to all the voicemails and get back to people) I explain why I called. She then says "so how can I help you?..." YOU CAN'T HELP ME NOW!
DO YOUR JOB!!! IT IS NOT HARD!!!
Rock on if this is your only medical care option as they do accept walk ins but we are not making another appt there to be seen.
I realize my ranting was more about the secretary, but they are a huge part of the clinic obviously. Dr. Syed is not totally blameless either as you never know what day he's in the office or not, obviously calls patients late, and does not seem to care his secretaries are making his blossoming practice look extremely unprofessional.

The front desk staff is very polite/professional and the doc was fantastic-listened about all symptoms and did a thorough checkup before prescribing. The only reason I have given 3 stars is because we were told wait time is 1hr but we were seen after almost 3.5hrs. I don’t mind waiting at a walk-in clinic but if you tell me 1hr them that’s how I time it. If they had said 3hrs, I would have figured out what to do with that wait time. I’ll certainly go back, if I have to. Will just plan about 4hrs for the experience

I wish I had read the reviews before going to Dr Khalil. And after visiting his clinic, it’s no surprise. He is truly condescending. He was dismissive and spoke with an entitlement I have never seen in any doctor. Saying words like I’m like god here what I say goes, is not the way you speak to your patients and certainly not about how your run your workplace. He also would not listen to me when I wanted to address immediate medical issues I needed to address. He was quick to cut me off before I could even express myself. Telling me to make a separate appointment for physical, separate one for pap, etc. Clearly he is more interested in getting paid for each appointment than keeping the best interest of patients and their well-being. Besides taking down my information and checking my pressure, which I could have done at home, he was useless and did nothing else. I will not be returning. Also kind of questionable that I could not find him on the ratemds site. I really hope that was because I didn’t get the search right. But I would not be surprised if he was intentionally not on it

Everything good but only problem with receptionists. Both girl sitting on walk-in clinic receptions doing favor for there friends and family may be BF they let them go first and people who came early have to sit long just because of this thing. God bless canada

It was my first time going to this clinic and I went in last minute during thanksgiving and sadly, there were no appointments available for walk in but the medical office assistant (Sarah) went above and beyond to help me out during my visit; although the clinic was so busy at the time, she made sure that I got the help that I needed at the time and was able to squeeze me in for walk ins. Wonderful staff!

Doctors are not generally available. Whenever you call they are away on vacation and they give you appointment weeks later. If it is a virtual appointment be prepared for the doctor to not call.

First I will state I have been going to this Clinic for about 7 years previously with the Incredible Dr. Salkauskis aka the Michael Jordan or Connor McDavid of Family medicine. When he retired (much deserved) Dr. Bugtor inherited the Patients of Dr. Salkauskis, who would never turn over his patients to just any Doctor. Although I miss Dr. S., Dr. Bugtor is highly competent, caring and Professional.
My only complaint is, the departure of Mary, the former longtime assistant to Dr. Salkauskis is very noticeable and not in a good way, when it comes to phone calls, e-mails and administrative issues. While I will still go because of Dr. Bugtor, who is very good. Mary like Dr. Salkauskis was the best in the business.

This clinic has been great an even The Best! The members of staff are quite efficient and professional.I have met couple of doctors and been attended to really well.
Recommend it if you don’t have a family doctor. They do the follow ups or provide appointments without having to wait too long. Or even if you call and follow up its pretty quick.
The place is so clean and the built in pharmacy is a bonus.

Avoid this place for god's sake. A bunch of liars. They told us three (!!!) times month after month that signed us up to MRI queue while they never actually did it. They told us that they CANT TELL US WHICH PARTICULAR CLINIC WE ARE ASSIGNED TO. They can't. Ofc you can't if you never did it. Liars. Stupid, arrogant. Hope you guys have 0 working days week instead of 2. You didn't deserve a penny from MSP. How dare you to make a human suffer for a half a year from backpain and be afraid to tell you simply lied.

Had physio sessions at the clinic, the physio therapist was super friendly and knew what was he doing, also explained everything plus the post care. All in all i had a good experience at the centre.

Excellent service! ALL the staff from front desk, to nurses, doctors and pharmacists truly amazing. I had an accidental mix up and showed up to their clinic thinking I had an appointment. They saw my struggles and did they very best to help me out and made me feel so welcomed. I was there at 630 when they were about to close at 7 and they still went up and beyond all my expectations to provide me with the best care and service. I don’t know what is going on with this business? I was going here and seeing a doctor. I had my medical exam for my professional license and then got a requisition for some lab tests. After months of waiting the doctor never explained the results and when I call the office ( nearly impossible to get through) a young man promised me that a doctor would call me back at 2pm that day. I suspected I wouldn’t get a call and sure enough no response after months of trying to get ahold of the doctor and office staff. What a completely incompetent, unprofessional and irresponsible business! Don’t use this walk in clinic it’s a joke!

Definitely worst experience ever. The staff are super rude and absolutely has zero empathy with patients. They talk to you in a very unprofessional way and can’t communicate at all. The front desk girl (not the Persian one) I believe she’s Indian, is ridiculous, she can’t communicate at all and doesn’t even let you finish your sentence and explain what’s the matter. Wait for a long time and deal with the rude front desk to just have the appointment and yet have all your questions unanswered. Save your time and find a differente clinic.

Do not recommend this place. Took off work and wasted my time seeing Dr. Khalil who was absolutely useless, passive aggressive and condescending. Not to mention, he was also 40 minutes late, which is not surprising considering he spends most of the appointment lecturing my daughter and I on mask wearing technique instead of addressing the issue of why we were there. He refused to give us a referral and gave us another lecture for why he won't be giving us one. His reason being was that she needs to come back another 2 times for further tests (irrelevant to this referral and which were already done within the last few months), and only then will he consider providing us one. We had a time sensitive issue and will not be coming back. The other reviews written about him show I wasn't the only one who had a negative experience.

I have been going to Dr Syed for roughly a year now, and I have only experienced good things from the entire office. Reception and admin have been fine to deal with (contrary to some of the reviews). Booking an appointment or checking in has always been smooth. Dr Syed always takes the time to listen, and ask about additional concerns if needed. He has connected me with other services and specialists in the area and has followed up.
The pharmacy (and pharmacist) have also been great, and easy to deal with. I call ahead, and they always have my Rx ready for pickup.
No concerns, and i would recommend.

I am completely furious with this so called Dr. Khalil, never met someone so passive aggressive like him, doesn’t respect for me as a patience, doesn’t listen, it is his way or the highway. Wasted a day of work to come here to get a referral to my specialist, explained my situation, he refuses to give me, and told me to be quiet and listen to him, because he is a Dr. and doesn’t work like that, me walk in and demand things from him. Last visit I asked him what kinda of diseases a Pap is looking for, he told me to google it. What kind of Dr. Say that to a patience?. I don’t recommend this place and specially this Dr. I’ll never come back, and some how I still want to report him.

Booking my first appointment wasn’t particularly easy as there is no booking confirmation and my appointment had to be moved and there was confusion between the staff - as I’m sure happens with a booking system that’s not super intuitive. However I did get a call the morning of my appointment to check I was coming in and the staff were friendly. I had a really good experience with Dr Mark Abbey, as a foreigner in Vancouver without my own Dr here it’s always hit and miss with a walk in clinic. I found Dr Abbey was friendly and actually listened to why I was there rather than pushing me out the door moments after arriving which is how I feel most of the time seeing Drs in this city. It was nice to feel like a person not a number (:

Amazing experience! The pandemic was a trying time. My surgery was postponed twice. I was also moved from my surgeon to Dr. Seligman. He called and explained everything to me. I had a double knee replacement which required me to go into a rehab facility. Dr. Seligman checked in on me a couple of times. I felt he had a decent bedside manner but more importantly he answered my questions and I felt confident I was in the right hands. Thank you!
Post surgery I hiked in Banff/Lake Louise, travelled all around Spain for a couple of months and just came back from Norway. I wouldn’t have been able to do any this without the surgery and the excellent team that supported me. Thanks you!

Officially posted closing time is 6:00pm Monday to Friday. Arrive at 5:50 on a Tuesday to pick up prescription, a 2 minute ordeal. Employee shuts door in my face as the last customers walked out. No joke, I was two metres from the door about to open it. I was shocked, other customers were shocked. Giving the employee the benefit of the doubt that she had not seen me, I go around to the front door. She refuses to service me when I ask because apparently pharmacy is closed at 5:50! If you close the doors at 5:50, officially post 5:50 as your closing time, not 6:00. Had I arrived at 5:59 it would have been understandable, but this experience clearly shows this business doesn't respect their customers' time and money. Originally came here to support a smaller local business. Taking my business to Shoppers which is 5m walk away, and across the street from work.

I have nothing but positive things to say about this clinic. I came here for a walk-in appointment and the whole process was extremely smooth. I came and I immediately felt good energy just from looking around since it was very clean and tidy, and I was also greeted warmly by the staff. I went to the desk and told them I’m here for a walk-in and they helped me out. After seeing the doctor, I went to the pharmacy for a prescription and they also helped me out very kindly. The whole process finished in less than an hour.
I am overall highly satisfied, and I will definitely recommend this clinic.

Recently switched to this office as its closer. Dr Syed is absolutely amazing. Super great with my toddler as well as with me. Unfortunately the low rating comes from the admin staff not returning phone calls for anything-follow ups, new appointments, etc. The only return phone call I've received since being able to actually switch Dr's was telling me I missed my appointment.... While I was sitting in the patient room with the doctor. Would definitely change my review to be significantly higher if this issue was resolved

It honestly pains me to write this review because when it comes to the health of an individual it should be taken very seriously and dealt with properly. Super long story behind this review but, all I’m going to say is that it is ridiculous how hard it is to get what you need from a family doctor here dealing with the current reception and it’s forwarding system. Calls, voicemails and emails go unreturned for days or weeks with no urgency to return or resolve. When there is an urgent matter that needs to be dealt with, all I got was a run around and excuses. I really wish I had someone who could actually take and care about this complaint, but even when you go in there to voice concern it’s still not taken seriously.
Also, if you need to cancel an appointment within the 24 hour period and do so, leave a message (because you’ve called 2 times and can’t get ahold of anyone), you assume they’ll check the message and make the appropriate cancelation. But, instead they call you asking why you were a no show. If you checked the messages from an entire day before, the cancelation would’ve been made appropriately.

Truly nice to experience a Doctors office that can attend promptly to your needs, isn't too busy and has a lab facility onsite, Pharmacy conveniently located and co-operates with the Doctor to get you what you need. So glad customer service has returned! They were a long time to open but I think worth the wait, the business owner should ask the sign company to proofread the name that is on the building though!

Flu shot sign up was time consuming. 3 email reminders which is fine. We arrived and they avtually did not have the shot for under 61. Staff said system did not catch it even though it had our birthdays. She said she tried to phone many times that morning, but no call history on my cell. Drove directly to Queens pharmacy and they had under 61 shot and we both got it.

Dr. Dong is a great doctor, but the receptionist Cindy lacks in customer service. Every time I have called in she would continuously interrupt me, and give me a lot of attitude. She is terrible to deal with, very unhelpful, and I'm not sure how she is still working there. I don't think I'll be making anymore appointments at this office until they find a new receptionist.

Reception/wait area is SMALL and masks are not mandatory (even though there is a sign saying they are). Very uncomfortable to have 4 other patients ALL within 6 ft of me, maskless. I was the only patient wearing a mask. Is this not a Healthcare facility?
For the love of your patients, PLEASE hire another front desk admin or use an online booking system that actually works.

Cindy - the Asian receptionist is downright rude and inefficient. Never responds well to any requests. I called the office to ask for our baby's first vaccine records, the receptionist exclaims "why do you need it anyways? It sounds strange". When I pushed to tell her it's not strange to keep your own kids vaccine records, she says it's not urgent anyways and hung up the phone. It's very frustrating to deal with the Asian receptionist, really really rude.
Whenever I call the office and hear her voice, I know I won't be helped. Get rid of her - she is nightmare, extremely annoying!

Doctor Dong is the greatest doctor in the city. However, Cindy the receptionist is the WORST. She has no manners. She is the most un-helpful person. Pam the receptionist is great. Called in as a new patient to book an appointment and they answered the phone promptly and were able to get me in quickly. It's unfortunate that they have a low rating because I just moved to the area and called several doctors, avoiding this clinic. Due to these ratings this place was last on my list, however, they were the most professional on the phone and in person. I have finally found a clinic that respects thier patients' schedule and doesnt have you waiting for long periods of time in thier waiting room. They even have a lab and pharmacy on site which is a bonus! Receptionists are prompt and friendly. Dr. Mary Rose is the best doctor I've met throughout my life. I'm so grateful to have found her.

After so many tries, she was able to redirect me to another clinic that was accepting walkins on that day. It was such a relief as I needed a doctor for my son badly. Thanks again Kate!

Dr. Hart Goldhar is most knowledgeable and kind physician. Much appericiated his work. i’m very satisfied from his service. he is good listener and give quick diagnose of my symptoms. i visited alot of physicians, specialists before him no one can diagnosed my problem. Thanks alot.

Most irresponsible and rude staff. If you love your life stay away from this clinic. I sent an email as an urgent request attached my burned container of the pill ( see a photo of my email) And asked Dr. Zarnaz Bagheri to re-prescribe my meds because all my medications were burned in a fire in my apartment. I am a patient with Fibromyalgia pain and Dr. Zarnaz's patient for more than 3 yrs.
She even didn't bother herself to look into my urgent request. The day after, I called her office to see why I haven't received any new prescriptions yet. The receptionist started accusing me ur name was not on their list and the doctor didn't recognize you. I explained that my name and email in your list if you could just search in the history of emails you could find my name and my history of communications with doctor. Also i added my name at the end of my email. So how you couldn't find me as her patient?
Dr. Zargar' receptionist who spoke Farsi started yelling and accusing me that they have 30k patients and they cannot search name by name! Even rudely telling me he is highly educated and knew how search names worked but he didn't want to search my name!
He had no empathy for my situation as a patient with Fibromyalgia who lost entire her life in the fire!
I feel too sorry for myself and other patients because I've trusted Dr. Zargar but didn't know she and her staff have no heart in their bodies and no empathy in their chests.
Dr. Zarnaz Bagheri please remember your Hippocratic Oath. And hire staff with morality. It doesn't mean if you are a Farsi speaker and your staff all speak Farsi, they are allowed to bully your Iranian patients!
Again remember your Hippocratic Oath! People with extreme pain come to you! Don't ignore them.

This clinic deserves a new reception person. The reception desk lady is quite rude. I’m a new patient and this is my first time calling this clinic for appointment. I had no previous idea of they not accepting new patient. The lady just shouted at me in the phone of not accepting new patient and said that I called them twice. I don’t know why she deemed that I have called them before?? If I know the clinic reception person like this before, there would be no reason I would call this clinic next time. Please be kind to your patients.

I did some research into medical facilities near my home and with all of the different services offered, I thought that this one would be the best fit for me as, in theory, it's all convenient. There was a walk in clinic, testing laboratory, and OBGYN services offered in that same building. I am currently pregnant so this was a huge draw.
I came in on a Saturday at 11AM for walk in services and was told by the clerk at the front desk that walk ins are only on Wednesdays since I was not a patient. This was to be found nowhere on the website, no where on the notices inside, nothing. The website only notes that walk in clinic is open from Monday to Saturday at such and such time, which I arrived within.
I did try to call beforehand to ask about the hours and specific requirements, as I understand that during COVID protocols for each office are different. No one picked up both times I called, though when in as arrived, there were at least 2 receptionists behind the desk and about 5 people in the waiting room.
Suffice to say I was incredibly disappointed and disheartened as I did not want to travel far and also wait a long time at other clinics further clinics with less amenities. I am even more disappointed that walk in services which were advertised as available were in fact not available. I believe that this should be made apparent from the get-go and posted on the website or as an automated message through the switchboard, not as a revelation when someone just arrives there.

I tried to go to the walk-in clinic yesterday, turned out that it was closed for some reason. I called the office but no one answered, and I asked people in the 2nd floor but they had no clue. If there were some sort of emergency and they had to close the clinic, I would understand. But there was no information either on their door or on the website. I find it quite disturbing. Never going nor recommending their walk-in clinic.

The doctors are all super great, but man the receptionists and customer service is TERRIBLE. Whether its online or in person, Pamela who works there is rude and short. Sometimes she is nice depending on the day but in general it's like she hates her job and can't have the decency to be nice to people. Online messaging system, you ask her questions, she doesn't even respond and just posts an attachment with no explanation. LAZY. Good doctors, terrible receptionists. Not sure why they keep her

I have to give a worse rating than deserved because the reception desk is just awful one lady is good but the other seriously doesn’t even answer calls politely and is very rude it takes forever to get an appointment and it seems really hard for them to renew prescriptions even tho the pharmacy is in the same building as the clinic Please do something about the front desk staff! Other than that doctor Dong is a great doctor and I have had good experiences dealing with her. She deserves 5 stars the front desk however is very frustrating.

Dr.Bagheri contacted me and LISTENED...Many doctors are quick to diagnose and forget we as patients KNOW our bodies well. She was empathetic, sympathetic and understanding to my needs at hand. Very appreciative of her knowledge, insight and willingness to help in a professional and thorough manner.

Dr Bagheri is an excellant Doctor, but her Indian secretary is quite rude and standoffish! I called to check on my medication and was told "Why are you calling ahead?" My response was "To plan my day and see when to pick it up". I don't know if Dr Bagheri overlooks this rude and abrassive behaviour or what's the problem?

The parking lot is always busy, therefore I usually come earlier to get a parking spot for my appointment in order not to be late. They are doing renovation in the basement parking since March, so there will be less parking spots. The Medical building is not allowed to go in without a mask

This doctor's office is located inside the Pharmasave in Burnaby Heights. You can enter the clinic through Pharmasave or use their separate entrance from the covered parking lot.
The receptionists here have to multitask like crazy while checking in patients and setting up the patient rooms so some patience is required.
Otherwise, the wait time from arriving, being assigned a room, to the doctor seeing you is better than other places. I do not recall having to wait long like over an hour at some other places in comparison.
They do have an online booking system but I believe its for existing patients. In the online booking system I like that I can leave a note online and the receptionist responds through there.
My doctor is Dr. Hong and I have no issues with him. He seems to have a good disposition, and he does put in an effort to get to the root of an issue unlike other doctors who brush off concerns without any reason.
