Had a large group dinner at Wind. A going away party of sorts. 13 adults. Was a flawless adventure. Food was fresh and delicious, restaurant was clean, servers were great Samo was a great server. Very attentive always checking to see if we needed anything or our drinks refilled. Really great place. When Ont we will return
Great food, you get a soup and one spring roll with any dish but for us (vegetarian)the daily soup was not vegetarian; requested to get a spring roll instead of the soup but they clearly denied :(
Unable to secure a reservation at our regular spot in Mississauga for Mother's Day, we decided to explore WIND Japanese and Thai in St. Catharines.
The restaurant's layout was a bit confusing at first, but we eventually found a comfortable table. Despite missing out on the novelty of being served by the robot, our server kindly accommodated our children's request for the unique experience. And let me tell you, the food exceeded our expectations, each bite of sushi was bursting with flavor and freshness, truly making it one of the most memorable dining experiences we've had in Ontario.

It's been two months since I came to Barrie. I came to Noble Cuisine on a friend's recommendation and had my son's birthday party there. It was a really fun experience to have the food brought to me when I press the menu on the pad. I am Korean, and it was nice to see that the people serving me were Chinese as well. I will come again next time for my second kid’s birthday. I hope your restaurant prospers. Thank you

I was sadly disappointed with the food I recieved tonight. There was either a small piece of plastic or a fish scale in my Tuna Maki. It got stuck on my tongue and forced me to cough for most of my dinner. Will not order again.

Added after a few more bites; something scrunched in my salmon Maki....
So good!!

Whatever I tried here blew the lid of my head.
Cashew curry, tom yum soup and red curry were awesome.
Mango with sticky rice as dessert was the icing on the cake - it's a must have here.

Two thumbs up for the courteous and efficient service. This place will always be on the list for visiting Gibson the next time.
We went during the week, in between meal times. Bathrooms were clean & awesome. The staff was friendly and so helpful. Food was brought quickly, and tasted great. One of the dishes was cold and the pieces were not bite size, but they quickly reheated it. A little pricy for lunch but still worth a taste! Recommend mango chili salad, calamari & cashew chicken.

I tried so many Thai restaurants but this place seems pretty authentic. Best in BC!

Good portions for the price. Spicy level was perfect for me. Try out Thai milk tea. They serve decent. I order for dine in and take out too. 😂

I'll definitely be back when I visit Sunshine coast!!
one of the best Thai restaurants around this area.
highly recommended

Experience: My experience at Wind Japanese and Thai's all-you-can-eat option was truly exceptional. From the moment I walked in, I was impressed by the warm welcome and inviting atmosphere. The restaurant's cozy yet modern ambiance created the perfect setting for a memorable dining experience.

Food: Wind Japanese and Thai offers an extensive array of options, spanning both Japanese and Thai cuisine. While the sushi selections were outstanding, with each roll expertly prepared and bursting with flavor, what truly stood out was the wide variety of other dishes available. From classic Thai curries to delectable sushi rolls, there was something for every palate, and each dish was impeccably executed. Additionally, the Thai coffee was absolutely delightful, with its rich and aromatic flavor providing the perfect end to the meal.

Service: The service at Wind Japanese and Thai was attentive and hospitable. Despite the bustling atmosphere, the staff remained attentive to our needs, ensuring that our dining experience was seamless and enjoyable. They were knowledgeable about the menu and provided excellent recommendations, enhancing our overall experience.

Value: The all-you-can-eat option at Wind Japanese and Thai provided incredible value for the quality and variety of food offered. Compared to other nearby options, Wind's lunch menu stood out not only for its diverse sushi selection but also for its extensive range of Thai dishes, all at an affordable price point.

Comparison: In comparison to other nearby establishments, Wind Japanese and Thai surpassed expectations. While other restaurants may offer decent sushi or Thai cuisine, Wind's superior variety, taste, and value set it apart as the ultimate destination for a satisfying and delightful dining experience.

Overall Impression: I highly recommend Wind Japanese and Thai's all-you-can-eat option to anyone looking for an exceptional dining experience. With its diverse menu, attentive service, and excellent value, Wind Japanese and Thai truly stands out as a top choice for sushi and Thai food enthusiasts alike.
Tried it for the first time for takeout. Pad Thai is delicious and very reasonable price. Sushi as well was excellent. They don't skimp on the amounts. Would definitely go there again the future. Dining in looks really nice. Parking lot is a bit weird but minor.

We didn’t have anything crazy since we are both vegan and the restaurant doesn’t offer many vegan options. However the food we had was DELICIOUS, pad Thai and yam tempura especially.

Ordered Maki set A and paid $18.08, I was really disappointed that the quality has gone extremely low. The size of the rolls and portions were huge, but the quality was very bad and not enjoyable to eat (which is especially not good for sushi)! I waited in the restaurant 10 minutes while they prepared my order and could observe their customers, perhaps that's what people want and who they are catering to, but it's certainly not good by any normal standards. The quality used to be much better, but I had to throw away 80% of my order because it was too dodgy and the other customers in the restaurant were rather dodgy too, unfortunately!
This first time coming to Wind Japanese and Thai, there is a very good variety and the flavours are amazing 10/10 and the deep fry ice cream was boooooomb!!!

See you soon!!

Only thing. I wish they could separate big groups away from single/couples tables
Second visit here, love it. Our server Nathan, his second day of work took extra effort to ask if we want some sauce, i asked for spicy mayo. Food service is fast, ipad self serve order, clean washroom. Only disappointment, there is no eel sashimi. I tried the newly recent add items such as the eel pizza, torched sushi, they are tasty! We tried each of the dessert, my fav is the fried ice cream and the creme brulee is spot on to die for. The size of edamame is smaller than the past. My fav dish is the pad thai, can also ask for smaller portion. The sahimis are fresh and the beef is good, no after taste. We used the $10 voucher, pricing had gone up a little from last year, now is $40.99 for dinner. Would definitely come back again!
This place is surprisingly good! The Spicy Thai Fried Rice is so tasty, it’s a must try! The Red Curry with Beef is also good but portion is a little small for my liking. Also the Ice-cream Fried Banana was really good also, a must try. Overall experience was very pleasant, the waitress was very thoughtful of her making sure my family is comfortable and not cold because we wanted to satisfy by the windows.

I had all you can eat here, basically tried all types of foods here. I would say definitely try the Satay Beef/Chicken, coconut shrimp, Crispy fish, chicken wings(they got pretty good deep fried foods), Sashimi I would go to Salmon and Shirome, their curries and noodles are also really good. It’s a good place to try out all types of food and find out your favorite. Beside everything, I don’t want to comment their Chef special.😂
Fast service and delicious food. Had the pad Thai with chicken and it didn't stand a chance. Pairs nicely with a Chang beer!

The most disgusting restaurant /sushi place we have ever been to in general. I am honestly shocked at the amount of high reviews this place has. We went on a Thursday afternoon. Super dead, we got sat in a corner, very smelly and tight. We’ve seriously never had food at such low quality, the fish on the sushi was FROZEN- the white tuna was literally frozen and discolored. The chicken was RAW. Nothing had any flavor in it and everything was seriously disgusting. The waitress handed us every dish to put on the table and was expected to hand it back with a baby in my hand?! We’ve tried every sushi place in Barrie and we love them, this is honestly the lowest restaurant we have ever been too, there’s no way this place has repeating customers, worst $31 spent ever. Wow.

This is my new favourite all-you-can-eat Japanese and Thai restaurant! They have a lot of options to choose from and there are some unique foods that I’ve never had anywhere else. They put a twist on things such as butterfish sashimi and it was delicious. The service was fast and we didn’t have to wait too long for the food. I’m pleasantly surprised by this place and will definitely come back soon!
I had an amazing dining experience at Taste of Asia ! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warm smiles and excellent service. The ambiance was cozy and inviting, perfect for a relaxing meal.
Just had an amazing experience at Wind, a sushi restaurant that I can't believe I hadn't visited before. The sushi here is unbelievable and the freshness truly shines through.

I was impressed by the variety of sushi available on the menu, including sushi, sashimi, soups, and more. The sashimi was so delicious that it practically melted in my mouth like butter. I couldn't help but keep ordering more.

I was also really impressed by the customer service at Wind. Our waitress, Carry, was exceptional - she was friendly, attentive, and made our dining experience even better. We opted for the all-you-can-eat buffet, which was definitely worth it for the quality and quantity of food we received. The only downside to Wind is that parking is pretty hard to come by. But that didn't detract from the overall experience for me. I highly recommend Wind to any sushi lovers looking for a new favorite restaurant. I give it a full 5 stars and can't wait to visit again soon.
The owners gave impeccable service. The food was ready very fast, the price was more than reasonable, plenty of food. The noodles were great, no over powering sauce, perfect little bite to it. (Pork Shanghai noodles)
Had a lovely meal here! Sat outside at the picnic tables as we had our dog with us! They brought a water dish out for our pooch…solid move! The staff were so friendly and kind! The food was fresh, flavourful and fast! An overall great experience!
We've ordered these food for dine in. There's 5 of us and the food has a good portion for everyone. It was good but I wouldn't say the best though. The ambiance has a different feel to it but it's not bad. The lady was also accommodating.

Overall, it was a good experience although I won't see myself coming back.

The food comes fast after ordering. That's the single highlight of this restaurant. Most of the food dishes have good presentation but looks are deceiving here. This simply was the worst experience I have ever had at a Sushi restaurant and it happens to my family's favourite type of food. I recommend Cynthia's Paradise in Newmarket.
1. The bathrooms are vomit 🤢🤮
2. The front door hostess women is rude and unprofessional. In one instance she back hand slid 1 of our icecream dishes into a dirty plate transferring sauce and meat. We explained that there was something wrong with the pickled roll, it tasted expired. She charged us $3 for not eating it (Whatever it came out of the tip).
3. Some of the fish meat was off-tasting like it was expired. The crab meat and the butter fish. By the time we got home 30 minutes later, we were all on the toilet.
4. The restaurant as a whole is fairly dirty with thick dust, food splatter from previous patrons, dirty bathrooms and dirty carpets. Visually it felt icky all over.
5. The drinks were mixed poorly and cheaply watered down.

There were 2 food runners that were nice and pleasant.
The overall experience value of this restaurant is very low. It currently has a rating higher than it should and it will go down as time passes. There are at least 3 other Sushi places in Barrie that do the job right like Diamond Sushi that are a better option.
Friendly Thai is one of the few good local restaurants in Gibsons.

❇️ You can rarely find good restaurants in a small town like Gibsons & this is one of them if you are a fan of Thai food.

🆗 Upon entering, you will notice the local atmosphere and you will definitely have authentic food there.

🤵🏻 The staff is warm & friendly & take care of your order carefully.

❗️Suggestions:
* Yellow Curry
* Friendly Thai fried rice
* Pad Thai

Enjoy!👌
We didn’t expect the bang bang chicken to be cold because it wasn’t written so on the menu. We liked the peanut taste though. The youtiao was not warm but we still enjoyed it. The beef noodles were tasty but it did have quite a few noodles that got lumped together. Overall we enjoyed our meal but it wouldn’t make it as one of our favourites.
Placed pickup order on app Fantuan. 45% off. Good food for good price. Portion is median among Chinese restaurants. Three dishes for 20+ after taxes.

Edit a day later... There's an iron wire in the leftover from yesterday... Changed rating from five stars to two because of this.
I am a Chinese, I will not recommend this Chinese restaurant. It was my first order and I will never go back again. The price is very low but the quality is not good ! Trust me, not good! I ordered a dish of half chicken, it supposed to be torn down to be small pieces, but the one I received was in huge chunks which makes it no taste, and you call tell when they cooked it was just tried to rush to finish, also the chicken they buy for cooking was not in good quality neither, It was very mushy. I also ordered a bowl of beef porridge, which supposed to cook with beef, however the beef was cooked with some kinda red sauce before and just put in the porridge, the red sauce was at the bottom didn't even mixed with the porridge! So the porridge was no beef taste at all!and the beef was cold and the porridge was warm! Not in same temperature! Also I ordered the tomato fried with egg! It tastes funny! Definitely not natural tomato taste, probably putting some low quality synthetic tomato sauce instead! I had few bites of the chicken, and the porridge then I gave up, even though I have spent money, I didn't want to spend time to suffer myself. I didn't enjoy that at all, I had no appetite for food like that. It seems like they were just cooking for customers money but not from their hearts at all! One more, no parking available! Horrible experience, waste my money and time to pick up the food!

A hidden germ of Cantonese food! I didn’t expect much of it, but was amazed by its food after trying it. Great menus and flavours! The price is very reasonable, too. Will definitely dine there each time visiting London!Would recommend to all my friends.
Great taste for a great price! Very homely and somehow private. A favourite for my friends and I when we're craving asian food.
