Ein Ort der Stille und Schönheit. Mitten im Chaos und Lärm den Frieden finden.
Sommers wie Winters ein schöner Park zum Flanieren und Entspannen.
Ein kleiner Park, zwischen den zwei prominenten Anlagen Hofgarten und Englischem Garten gelegen, daher sehr ruhig, obwohl mitten in der Stadt. Aufgrund der Bewaldung besonders an heißen Tagen zu empfehlen.
It is a very nice hotel with impeccable, clean and well accommodated room. The view from the balcony is very relaxing, plus the forest nearby is a real bonus !

Ich bin immer wieder beeindruckt, welch schöne Natur sich in mitten in der Stadt Leipzig befindet. Ein wunderschön angelegter Park mit alten Bäumen, einen Teich mit Graureiher und Enten. Große Wiesen, auch eine Hundewiese. Ein Naherholungsort in Mitten von Straßen und Wohnhäusern. Er wird gepflegt und lässt einen abschalten von Stress und Hektik des Alltags. Leider hält nicht jeder Ordnung und Sauberkeit.
It was good, but I wouldn’t call it amazing. They have a cable car option which allows you to have an aerial view of all the gardens, but unfortunately it’s closed during the winters. My personal favourites were the water gardens - Chinese and the oriental one. Apart from that the place is very well maintained and is very serene

An sich ein schöner Ort zum Verweilen ABER anscheinend im Herbst so dermaßen laut wegen diverser Laubbläser und anderer Gartenmaschinen (was ist aus der guten alten Harke geworden?), dass es direkt an der Stadtautobahn ruhiger zugeht. UNERTRÄGLICH!
This garden is truly enchanting. Be sure to visit during warm weather to witness all the gardens in their full, vibrant bloom. Using the cable car offers a unique perspective of the gardens, allowing you to enjoy a distinctive view from above.
The overall experience was great, and the gardens were beautifully landscaped, providing a sense of serenity. While most of the gardens were impeccably maintained, I did notice some unkraut in certain areas. However, this minor flaw didn't diminish the overall enjoyment, and I found the price of admission to be well worth it. It's a wonderful place to escape and appreciate the diverse array of gardens on display.
Die verschiedenen Gärten sind sehr schön und gepflegt, es ist echt entspannt dort spazieren zu gehen um den Kopf mal frei zu bekommen
The service was really bad. The gentleman and the older lady were plain rude when we called them and they were clearly operating over their capacity, because everything took a very long time.
We loved our stay here! It felt like we visited so many countries within one stay. We visited late September and I can only imagine how beautiful it is during the summer. However it was still nice time to visit. We took 3hours to see everything. Maybe during a hot day it is too tiring. We enjoyed some delicious Chinese tea. Would recommend packing some snacks and make a picnic there. For 7€ (we weren’t interested in the cable) it was definitely worth visiting!
A little further away from the city centre but definitely a must visit. They have Japanese, English, Chinese, … gardens. In summer you can stroll around the park and enjoy a little break on the sun loungers. Different options to get a drink or eat something.

Wonderful hotel in a quiet location on the edge of a forest yet close to the city. I am fortunate enough to stay here almost every two weeks and it's become my home from home. If you plan to or need to come to Stuttgart; stay here, it's superb and yet not stuffy, nor old fashioned just welcoming and comfortable!!
The room was good although the carpet was a little dirty .. for the breakfast the service was good but there was smell in the plates and there were few options and the same options for all the days we stayed in.. but overall we really enjoyed our stay there the garden was amazing the receptionists were very helpful.

I had lunch here with a friend a few days ago. The last time I was here must have been 25 years ago. It hasn't changed much, if at all. The world and Munich, though, have changed a lot over the past 25 years. It's 2023 now, get a card machine and start taking card payments. The 1970s called and want their cash register back.
Also, breakfast. The menu is basically the same as 25 years ago. Trouble is, I'm not. Where are the vegan options? The same goes for the main menu. Although the daily specials menu did feature some dishes that could have been vegan, the regular menu essentially only offers salads and a bread with sliced tomatoes.
I salute the café for providing a constant in a changing city. It's still a lovely place to come for a coffee and to read a book or the paper, but that's about it. When we stepped out into the sunshine of Haidhausen what remained was a lingering feeling of lost opportunity mixed with a little sadness.

This place is the perfect destination if you wish to explore representation of some of the best gardens in the world all in the same place. The best time to visit is the summers, as they close down some gardens during the winters. I would suggest entering the place from the Sud entrance, or taking the Ropeway to go directly to the garden. The Ropeway is quite inexpensive and is totally worth it. You can enjoy a very wholesome view of the Berlin skyline from the cable-car.

Ein sehr schöner Ort, aber es gibt viele Mücken und die Seilbahn funktionierte nur in eine Richtung, und ihr Argument war, dass die Motortemperatur hoch sei, aber ein schöner Ort für die Familie.

I was surprised to read such good reviews of this place. The backyard is indeed quite nice and seating outside is quiet & there is shade (good for 30 degrees).
However, the food & drink was rather mediocre and took a long time to arrive. We came for brunch and had a cheese platter and yogurt with fruits. The bread was dry, the cheese was bland and the fruit was not very fresh (though it was a hot day so maybe just out for too long). The service was incredibly nice, but forgot part of our drink order.
Overall I don’t think I will come back.

Great nice cozy place in the center of Munich.
Lovely cafe tucked away in a courtyard but clearly signposted from the street. The English breakfast has baguette instead of toast but the marmalade is genuinely marmalade in the English sense (slightly bitter as it should be in the context of claiming to be part of an English breakfast) not sweet orange jam / Marmelade... 😜 The Hof is peaceful on a sunny day and there is comfortable indoor seating too.
Rope road was so confusing, still don’t get why it is sold together with the ticket to the gardens…. The final stop of the road is outside the gardens, why do I even need it??? The gardens themselves are very small but very cute. Would return here in autumn and in spring to see all the colours of the gardens. The Korean garden is amazing!!

Went there early in the morning on a weekday. Not crowded at all. I really liked the Chinese and the Korean Gardens while the Japanese Garden didn’t impress me. Still five stars overall. We only had two hours to rush through. Next time I will bring more time since the place seems to be good to relax in one of the lounge chairs and to check out the Tea House.

Ein erstaunlich ruhiger Ort mitten in der Stadt. Allerdings heißt der ehemals Finanzgarten genannte Park inzwischen Dichtergarten.
Schöner Park mit nicht aktuellen News auf der Homepage. Gemäß News-Seite ist der Seilbahnbetrieb eingestellt. Vor Ort fährt die Bahn jedoch.
Easy to reach by car or by U train. Nice and quiet location at the forest, greens all around and a few lil sport stadiums. Loved the restaurant on the beautiful terrace and I loved the quality room with a large balcony.
Very good choices of wines in the menu. Quality soaps in the bathroom and 2 Schwarzwald beers in the fridge.

Liebevoll angelegter Kabinettsgarten in der Residenz München.
Jetzt im Frühling wirklich toll! Gepflegt und trotzdem natürlich, mit vielen Brücken und schönen Ecken zum Picknicken. Eine Erfreuung!

Wald hotel is a boutique hotel on the outskirts of Stuttgart. It might be a little further from the city, and that’s the charming part of it. The quiet and the serenity away from the city. The staffs are really pleasant and helpful. Although they have no elevator and our room is three flight up in room 502, the checkin counter help is to bring the luggage’s up. The breakfast is also pretty awesome. The chef could make regular sunny up and bacon better than any other places. I would definitely recommend staying here.

very classy garden well structured and equipped with modern water basin and a fountain under trees. you can always witness in the garden talented painters getting inspiration and drawing sketches. you can relax there after a long walk in Munichaltstadt cause it is very calm.
Über eine kleine Brücke erreicht, kleiner Park zum Spazieren, neben dran kann man auch mit dem Kanu, Sup board seine Runden drehen.

Prince George Garden is a little gem, sits next to Technical University. Named after Prince George William of Hesse (1722-82), it's well manicured and maintained, laid out geometrically typical of its time. However, the porcelain collection is not open.
Beautiful garden connected to the Herrngarten. The well manicured lawns with blooming flowers is a treat for the eyes. It has two main buildings - Das Prinz-Georg-Palais which houses the porcelein museum and Das Prettlack'sche Gartenhaus which houses a small library with a reading hall from where one can borrow books free of cost to read in the park or at home. Both are worth a visit. This garden, just like Herrngarten also has a history attached to it. There are regular programs (like guided tours) that happen in the garden, details of which can be found in their website. A sale of vegetables and other plants grown in the garden happens in the summer months. Overall, a beautiful green space in the heart of the city.

Ein schönes Plätzchen, um zu verweilen. Doch Ordnungshüter schleichen am Vormittag und Mittag gerne umher und stellen Strafzettel für Hundebesitzer aus, die die Leinenpflicht nicht einhalten. Die naheliegende Hundewiese ist jedoch am Straßenrand angelegt und nicht eingezäunt. Da gibt es Verbesserungsbedarf.

A very nice cafe for catching up with friends. With background music that isn't so loud and comfortable, we can catch up without so much noise in the background. Dimmed and very nice lamps and decor by the way. For protocoll in early 2022, we need to show our Vaccine card and Ausweis (2G).

Zur Zeit leider ziemlich viel Baustelle rund herum, aber ansonsten ein guter Ort zur Kontemplation, mitten in der City. Ich gehe da immer wieder gerne durch. Anmerkung: Der Finanzgarten heißt aber doch eigentlich Dichtergarten? Oder habe ich das missverständlich aufgefasst?

Hübscher, kleiner Garten mitten in der Stadt, die Statue von Heinrich Heine sah ich nicht. Da schau ich nächstes Mal nochmal genauer, obwohl ich mich ziemlich genau umschaute🌼

Die Gedanke beim Anlegen war eine

Whow! Wie schön! Kostenfrei, ziemlich groß, vielfältig, üppig, grün, viele gute Bänke. Um 18Uhr wird man rausgebimmelt. Aber alles gut 🤗
A beautiful place where one can have some quality time with nature. Though it may be small, it is quite good. The place has an interesting history and a huge sum was spent for its renovation. For me this place was a good relaxing spot.

Sehr schön angelegt, wenig besucht. Leider viele Stellen als öffentliche Toilette missbraucht.
Toll angelegter Heilkräutergarten mit Erklärungen. Der Garten liegt innerhalb des Botanischen Gartens und dieser liegt wiederum im Grüneburgpark. Die Pflanzen sind einzeln gekennzeichnet und schön zusammen in Beeten arrangiert.

We had breakfast there on Sunday morning with #Bigfoot and #Littlefeet and friends. Super service, delicious breakfast and fruity incl. delicious espresso. To top it all off, a young man entertained on the piano. The Hinterhof Café is unassuming and is actually located in a backyard. It is simple and has an outdoor seating area in summer. The food, morning or noon, is delicious and fresh. The prices are absolutely ok by Munich standards. Anyone who wants to have breakfast in the area should have been here. The café is highly recommended! It is also easy to reach and only a 10-minute walk from the Ostbahnhof, for example. Tip: please call ahead and ask if you can make a reservation. We couldn't on Sunday morning, so of course we were there before opening time 😀

In short, through a small opening next to the Allerheiligen-Hofkirche and near to the Crown Prince Rupprecht Fountain ( Kronprinz-Rupprecht-Brunnen) you will find a small, enclosed garden that was built in the early 19th century but only opened to the public around 15 years ago.
Here you will find a few park benches, two aisles of grass and a handful of trees providing shade. In the middle of the garden there is a fountain and twin rectangular-shaped pools and nice rose bushes, which were in bloom during our June visit.
Overall, we found Kabinettsgarten to be a neat little find while exploring the Residenz grounds. It is a place we'd like to visit again during future trips to Munich.
