We were shopping for ceiling fans & lights in Balestier for hours & almost wanted to give up as I just couldn't find the light I like for my dining area. Passed by this shop & decided to give a last chance before we leave. So glad we came in, as I found pendant lights similar to the design I was looking for! Danny attended to us, & he was very helpful in providing suggestions & advice. Installation fee was the most affordable here compared to other shops. Light prices were also reasonable. I ended up buying all my ceiling fans & lighting from Danny. Installation was done 3 days later by Ah Hong's team.
Overall, I'm a happy customer of Extreme Lighting for the reasonable price, great selection of lights, as well as good & prompt service!

Buy things from here at ur own risk. Bought 2 light cover on 23 Sep 2023. Was told on installation day, it will delay 2 weeks. We accepted. Now its been 2 months since purchase date. still not given. Only keep saying shipment not here. Cant give exact dates. Only pushes his responsibilities to Shipping company. We should do our due diligence before buying.
DONT BUY FROM THIS SHOP! THEY SO EAGER TO GET YOU TO BUY. AFTER PURCHASE AND INSTALLED, IF ITS NOT WORKING THEY DONT EVEN CARE IF PRODUCTS WORKS OR NOT. THEY JUST TELL YOU ITS NOT THEIR PROBLEM. NO SENSE OF EMPATHY.

Apparently during our visit, the uncle was ok and switch on the light for us to see the different and allowing us to take photo to show our ID. It doesn’t carry a wide range and the place was quite filled up with boxes and making it difficult to access.

I had a wonderful experience at the Lighting Centre. Jennifer, the sales executive, was fantastic. I'm not sure why there were negative reviews by some unsatisfied customers, my experience was truly great. Jennifer’s patience, creativity and expertise facilitated my decision for my lightings. The prices were very reasonable, and they offered good discount options. I appreciated the flexibility they provided in reconfiguring the crystals to my liking. Moreover, the presence of their outstanding in-house technician, Mr. Ang, was a definite advantage. These have led me to be their regular customer for a few years already. Overall, I highly recommend the Lighting Centre for their excellent service, competitive pricing, beautiful selections of merchandise and skilled staff.

Before buying anything from this shop go check Shopee or Lazada. The prices at Shopee / Lazada are more than 3 times cheaper.
As mentioned in other reviews, this shop charges separately for lighting installations ($18 per light fixture), and claims that the exclusion of lighting installations is written in the invoice, when it was never actually verbally communicated to us that lighting installation is NOT included, despite heading to the shop multiple times. In fact, we were told that all installation was included by various salesmen, and we were only told about this on the day of delivery itself. Avoid at all costs.
I highly recommend Jason Gan as he is honest and very helpful. As this was my first time buying pendant lights, I wasn’t sure of how to place them. He was patient and gave me some good ideas. I really appreciated his kind and professional service. A very nice chap 👍🏼.

They have the best assortment of microcontrollers and accessories in Singapore. I gave them 4 stars instead of 5, because otherwise they might rest on their laurels.
Should have read the bad reviews for this company first. They are a piece of work - have ordered BLACK gave us WHITE. NICK CHOW wrote the wrong order on the receipt. After realizing this, I corrected the mistake and still delivered WRONG color, because he only corrected on my receipt and not his then he forgot? This is unacceptable, very unprofessional. Once fully paid, they don't care bout you. After calling, he said he was trying to correct the problem. WHAT??? He wrote wrongly he tells me it is my problem. Then promised to deliver next day 3pm. But hell broke loose, 3:30pm no fan delivered, my electrician waiting. Called to follow up and person who answered, has lots of excuses and told me that they are busy with other customers in the shop.Even has the audacity to hang up - because he doesn't know. After calling back, no one act answered the phone - not until after 1 hour. Then Nick answered the phone around 4pm, had the tone to tell me whether I want to settle this or continue the shouting match. To be fair, he has a point but I am super frustrated with HIS MESS. Nobody called me back but fan was delivered after 5pm. The installation from their company is NOT FREE, that is why we are rushing since our electrician was already there. Not recommended to buy here because there is NO after sales service - got 0 customer service. Never trust their assurances, very arrogant and go to other light shops at Balestier.
Walked in haven't even start to look around, got rudely treated unreasonably and scolded by a tattoo gangster big guy. I quickly walk out after his attitude was erractic and heard him mumbling "神经“ (referring me crazy) when I literally did not do anything except asking where are the ceiling fans displays which I did not see earlier. Replacing broken lights? This is the place you should go. Very convenient and easy to find its 3 min walk from Rochor Mrt. The service at Wit's lighthouse is very good.

One can find all sorts of cables and plugs, led lightings, custom lights, and electronics supplies from here. There are many shops from level B1 to level 3. But beware of the shop Jo-An’s cafe at level 03-32 which serves food at high price. A plate of rice with a squid and archar, together with a lemon tea cost $12.40 which is unusually high. Please note when buying from the store.

Ordered 15 lights from this shop and also arranged installation with them. On the actual day, the installer came and didn’t bring the correct ladder and hence abandon the installation. Waited for days for a new installation date. After much wait, a day was then fixed. On the actual day, the installer called to say can’t make it and have to come the next day where we waited whole day at home for them. They were also not informed about the correct ladder to bring. I went to the shop to speak to the boss and the boss say it’s not his problem when it comes to installation, he is only selling lights…😅😅this is the first time I hear from a boss about good customer service…ok, next, he told us we have to pay extra because the ladder is different..instead of apologising for making us waited at home twice without a successful work being done…so, you go figure yourself why this shop has poor ratings. Next day, the installer came and install without much problem and we pay extra because of all these delay. One month later, two of the installed light become faulty. The shop say that it’s not their problem to come fix it. We have to engage a technician to take down the light and go to his shop to make an exchange.. wow.. this shop is really one of the worse I have seen.. don’t patronised them or you will regret like me..

Had bought a ceiling fan from them brand Bestar . After installed the ceiling fan found out there is a sound and call them , they past me the supplier number and ask me to settle with them Bestar . After Bestar company technician came down and check said he can’t repair that and need to go back office and get back to me . Waited for a while no news from their office,of cause I cal them again and they ask me to wait for 3 to 4 months for the spare part stock in .
I rejected and purpose to top up and request to change to other model , but they refuse my request, and told me all their Bestar fan have this sound . So disappointed both the seller and supplier.

One word to describe it, Shady. I purchased a pendant that was on sale. Paid in full and was told to collect it a few days later. I was assured that it will be a new piece and not showroom piece. When i was there to collect, the salesperson opened the box to show me the light. He said he has helped to attach the bulbs to the light. It doesn’t sound right to me. The light was not properly packed, it was placed in a random box with no protection materials. I noticed the lamp holders were yellow and chipped. I was told the holders were made of stone and yellow is the natural colour 🙄 I looked closely and saw the plastic of the lamp shade had many crease lines and the whole light fixture was dusty and stained. it is obvious that it was an old item but the shop denied, showing me that the one i saw is still hanging there. I asked for a refund and they insisted they can only refund me in cheque a few days later. I have never come across a shop that can accept payment on the spot via cash, card but cannot refund on the spot. Avoid at all cost.

Was hoping to fix a PCB with the soldering service provided here. Although it turns out my PCB board was beyond solder repair, I was grateful for the shop auntie's patience in explaining the unsalvageable issue with me again and again, until I totally understood the problem. More impressively, this happened when the shop seemed to be in the midst of a semi-emergency where everyone was trying to fulfil a customer's last minute order!

Mr Khoo helped me fix my jetson that had a broken usb c connector and the quality of his work was top notch, he even reinforced the connector to make it stronger!

Best place to get tools, wires, adapters, geek gear and all the little bits you need to fix stuff. Uncle even custom made my USB to 2.1 (Center-Negative) DC cable for powering guitar pedals with power banks. Shiok!

Was attended to by Danny at Extreme Lighting in end March. He was very accommodating and did a really good job explaining to my wife and I which fan would be best suited in our house. Today, Ah Hong from Extreme Lighting did the installation and we were really impressed with his workmanship and honesty. Highly recommended.

i wish i can give a minus! after paying for everything, i called back to ask for dimensions for my contractor. sales person is so rude, cut the phone, keep on putting me on hold and even can say i have customers in the shop. then what am i? not a customer! i will never recommend this shop to any1! terrible and atrocious!
Good sales talk and advise before and during sale. But zero after sale service after that. Arrange for a light globe to exchange cause of air bubbles. But sale person Nick chow don’t even bother to check and send a replacement with more air bubbles. We rejected it but no follow up on his side. Have to personally call him to follow up. Suggested me to bring down the light globe to his shop to personally choose the light globe once the supplier send him. But after month still no call from him.

Much to my surprise, their retail price is really reasonable and they are very polite not to give much comment or attack the nearby shop that over charged me.
Instead, Xiao-Ling (the only female with specs) was very professional and polite to answer me all the questions I asked and assured me that they would not overcharge customers as it is against the law.
Based on the good experience, I went back there again and showed them the ceiling pictures of main hall and toilets together with the dimensions I took to get the T5 LED lights. She was very careful in doing the calculation for me to ensure I get the correct length of T5 LED lights that can fit in as much as possible in the given length of ceilings. And they even pack all the T5 LED lights I bought nicely into main hall and 2 toilets so that I would not got confused when I passed it to the electrician person.

I bought a bunch of lighting for my newly renovated house, one of which was supplied wrongly by the shop. When I informed Julian, he said that he does not know if it is the fault of the shop or my fault that the light I received was not X but Y. This was after Julian and his sales staff accepted that based on the tax invoice, I had purchased X and not Y. Julian's response was ridiculous, when it can only be the fault of the shop that the wrong light was provided to the customer. To even make such a comment is telling as to Julian's attitude when it comes to after sales service. Thereafter, I had to bring the wrong light back to the shop at my own cost for exchange, and engage another electrician at my own cost to fix up the correct light. The whole experience was disappointing, especially since I had spent more than $580 at this shop.
In any event, I recommend that if anyone still wishes to purchase from this store, to check all appliances before you make payment and leave the venue. The service after you have made payment is regrettably atrocious.

I was served by Mr Willy for both my lightings and ceiling fan purchase. Willy was extremely patience and very sincere. He base his recommendation on products that deliver the best value for customer - instead of items that make most $$ for the company.

For all who are totally clueless of what lights to install, go to this shop. Shop sale staff Mr Willy is very helpful and experienced. He is honest and offers sincere advice for the interest of customers.

The pendent lights above my island kitchen were blinking, they needed replacement and an updated look. Julian was helpful with ideas and practical solutions and was very accommodating despite a busy week nearing Hari Raya weekend. He exceeded my expectations and delivered a day earlier. The guy who installed the lights was fast, efficient and even obliged to do extra for other a toilet and bedroom lights (not in the initial job requested) which needed fixing. He didn't grumble even though it was the end of the day. Lights with infinity effect look fabulous in my kitchen. Thank you Strass Lighting!

The electrician whom they arranged to install the fan in our home was also skillful and thorough, installed a huge 56" fan with absolutely ZERO wobble, and ensured the electrical wire trunking was neatly fixed back.

I've had a great experience at Designers Lighting. They were friendly and provided me with excellent customer service. I urgently needed a bulb replacement and they were able to provide it asap. Plus point for opening till late too!
The staff who served me was friendly and polite, but their prices are over the top. Understandable as they work with id and gives quite good commission to id. All these naturally add "value" iterally dollars and cents onto customers' wallet.

However in the first few floors, the prices are very high and some times rude staff too. But upper 2 floors are relatively good with helpful staff and relatively low prices.

Avoid. Agreed on the timing, written in black and white on the order form. No show. When queried, mentioned that it was not indicated in the system. Given all sorts of excuses. Bottom line, something so simple and the shop got it wrong. No basic courtesy to inform the customer.

Best place to shop in Singapore for home entertainment and electronics buyers. Old and a bit rundown, but still houses experienced electronics vendors. Other people may be better off buying from Challengers, or from online.
