Dr.Jessica M was amazing!! Unfortunately it is my last time at this office. I had asked before coming to my appt and before checking in what was the total cost for the exam they stated $10. After my appt when it was time to pay they come with a $70+ bill. Its very disappointing hearing that after I confirmed multiple times what my total cost would be. It was my first time coming to this office for an eye exam I’ll be going back to my previous eye Dr. DO NOT CHEAT ON YOUR EYE DR OF MANY YEARS !! And check to see if other providers work better with your insurance.
Dr Mathew was very kind and thorough and took the time to explain in depth my current eye condition and what I might expect in the future. Her exam was comprehensive and I am very grateful to be under her care and expertise.
The Boardwalk at Towne Lake is a hidden gem in Cypress, Texas. Few mins drive from Houston TX, This charming waterfront promenade offers a delightful mix of dining, shopping, and relaxation. Strolling along the boardwalk, you're treated to picturesque views of the lake, with its resident swans and beautifully landscaped surroundings. The selection of restaurants caters to various tastes, from casual bites to fine dining. The live music on weekends adds a pleasant, vibrant atmosphere. It's a perfect spot for a leisurely meal, a scenic walk, or simply unwinding while enjoying the tranquil waterside setting. Very good for kids and all ages.
High Ophthalmology Associates has provided me with the highest level of care and professionalism for both routine visit for glasses and an acute issue that I had with my eye. I was so grateful how I was taken care of both visits and how much care and attention was given to my concern. I would highly recommend this practice. Thank you!
I have my yearly exams with Dr. Maher, this year she told me i could benefit from cataract surgery. I scheduled an evaluation and subsequent surgery with Dr. Davidian and could not be happier with my results.
All right, I get it, everyone seems to love this place- and here’s the deal, like all the food places here are good- but be prepared to fight your way through hordes of unmonitored teenagers. If you like a hopping smorgasbord of massed people with nowhere else to go taking selfies for all occasions then this is the spot for you. And I mean I get it, it’s the most convenient spot for it! Pretty lake, foods and deserts, often live music- but it’s an introvert’s nightmare scenario. If you can go at off times and days, it’s really lovely to eat along the water - just really really avoid about 30 minutes after area schools let out.
Had the most wonderful experience from start to finish with Dr.Mary Davidian on my cataract surgery in both eyes. The entire office staff was fantastic, scheduling was a breeze and very thorough. I have to add the office is very clean, highly recommend.
i like this place very much. doctors are great, responsive, they actually listen. administratively, they've had a few bumpy moments, which i can see they recognize and they're working to correct. some of their team members are especially bright, helpful and a pleasure to work with (Sam! Brittany! Jennifer!)
After taking my wife here for several years to correct an eye condition she had picked up in a stay in the hospital, and viewing first hand the care she got from Dr.Julia Mathew, I was very happy to have her take me on as a new patient. She was quick to allay my fears for my diminishing eyesight and ultimately restoring my sight with cataract surgery. She was superb in every aspect of my care.
After reading countless reviews of eye doctors throughout the area, I selected this practice. I called to book an appointment and left a message. I waited a week, called again, and left another message. Three weeks later, I’ve yet to hear back. Supposedly this place has amazing customer service. Perhaps if one is an existing patient that is the case, but if you’re attempting to become a new patient, the customer service is nonexistent.
Everyone was super friendly and helpful. I got a fast diagnosis on the same day, and they had a great selection of glasses to choose from. Budget friendly (at least for me) to high end designer label. I will definitely be coming here again!

My Husband recently had medical issues that has suppressed his immune system. When I made our appointment (Poughkeepsie Galleria 8/19/23 at 4:30 and 5:00pm) I asked if anyone who is in the exam room with us could wear a mask. My request on the phone was met with respect and a kind “of course”. Upon arrival to the store itself, when we stated our names, all of the employees rushed and put on their masks in addition to the Dr. I can’t thank them all enough for accommodating our request.They went above and beyond! You all made our visit stress free!! Thank you, Thank you!!!

Cool area with a nice waterfront perfect for walking around and relaxing. There are restaurants to enjoy a meal, or have a coffee and a nice dessert. Nice clean area.
I saw Dr Bywater today for an urgent eye issue. He was very pleasant, informative and empathetic. He understood that I had an existing relationship with a different practitioner but I still felt like I got the best of care from him and am really grateful.
Unfair practice to fail to provide a patient with a copy of the patient’s eye glasses prescription immediately after an eye examination is completed. The employee was rude when I asked to get a copy after the examination and I was told that my prescription will be sent via email.
I had asked for my prescription to shop elsewhere and was told that they would give it to me twice and I still don’t have it. The customer service is absolutely awful. I do not have $1000 to spend on a pair of glasses that I was feeling pressured to buy and leave on the kitchen table because I wouldn’t were them. They don’t return calls and are absolutely rude and express frustration instead of compassion. Take your business elsewhere.
Such a nice relaxing place with a waterfront. It’s kids friendly. They can run around, play on the rocks etc. there are many restaurants around the playing area for a quick bite or meal or dessert. Loved the vibe. It’s really cool. Do check them out.
Very friendly staff. They get your glasses quick and they were able to warranty my glasses that got scratched!
Extremely rude customer service, I called to make an appointment to meet with the optometrist, but made it known that I would be shopping around for the right glasses so I would need the PD (Pupilary Distance) in order to do so. Many glasses companies will give you that information for an additional charge, I kindly asked for what the charge would be for that information and she refused. Stating "We Can't Give That Information!" . I kindly repeated myself, I understand that you cannot give that information but I would gladly pay for it, to give myself time to shop around. The Optometrist would be making money off the eye Exam, and a contact lens fitting and Contact Lenses(which I would have filled in the store). I was just particular about the glasses I would want. It was an ugly and unnecessary attitude for a potential new client. But looking at all these reviews below....it looks like I dodged a bullet with this store. Take ALL your business elsewhere.

Came here for the first time yesterday and will only use this place from here on. I had such a positive experience from all who work here. Extremely professional as well as kind, a winning combination!!
It’s a nice small mall, stores and restaurants around the lake, some have a nice view and open terrace, you can see the neighborhood behind has access to a their private side of the lake. Pet friendly. Open playground for toddlers, sometimes we have found markets trough Saturdays.
Nice place to hang out. Specially if on a date with someone. Good places to eat, to hang out. Nice scenery. Small boardwalk compared to others I have seen but it’s nice!
This place is horrendous. All of the employees working there have a nasty and sarcastic attitude towards customers. If you tell them you gonna be using your own vision insurance to fulfill your prescription watch how fast their attitudes change, here comes the eye rolls and angry frowns because you don’t care to buy any of the extra unnecessary items they’re pushing hard to sell you so you can shell out money out of pocket. What the hell am I paying insurance for then. Management needs to hire more customer oriented individuals who aren’t obsessed with commissions. To add insult to injury they never get your prescription right. They display an extremely unprofessional behavior. Never again coming to this location.
Beautiful location! Family friendly, live music was great, bring your little dogs and let the kids have fun! You can walk around the water, eat at a sit down or walk up restaurant and more. Didn’t go shopping, but there are some cool shops.

The Dutchess Optometry office staff including Dr. Lappan have been tending to me and my family’s needs over the years. I highly recommend you call them for all your vision needs. The office staff are all very friendly, courteous, and accommodating. I have been going there for years and they are all excellent and extremely professional.
They were able to get us right in, remove a pebble from my child’s eye and got us out without a single tear being shed!
Top quality care. Your eyes are in great hands. The ENTIRE staff is incredibly friendly and helpful (everything from getting an appointment, to setting you up initially before seeing the doc to helping you pick out frames). I have eye issues that concerned me and it was comforting to be taken seriously. Dr. Sheedy is an amazing clinician who is both friendly and thorough in her eye exams. Especially now that I am older - she really customizes solutions that work for your lifestyle and needs.
I went here for about close to 7 years in my time in OC and the people here are all amazing! The staff & doctors are incredibly kind and helpful, whether it's eye tests, paperwork, or finding the best lenses for your prescription. It's one of my favorite experiences at an optometrist!

I chose this office because of my insurance. I did read some of the reviews but I gave them the benefit of the doubt. I wanted to support a local office but we are sorry we did. I told Dr. Smith the gal couldn’t seem to get my vision clear on the chart and he said it was the best he could do. No vision change. Basically the same for my husband. We ordered glasses because our frames were broken..AND PAID the bill. Mine are ok but my husbands are not. He told the office he could not see out of them and he was advised to wear them anyway, his eyes would adjust. They haven’t. Now they are sending me bills for a new patient charge and tests that are not included in the insurance. I’ve had this insurance for over 15 years and never had “additional “ surprise charges. We have since gone elsewhere and are completely satisfied. Goodbye Mountain Valley Eye Institute.
They went above and beyond for me during my first visit at this wonderful office! For starters It’s super clean, the doctor is amazing she answered all my questions and the whole team is so thorough with every aspect of optical health. One of the ladies who works there sat with me and helped me choose the correct frames, I didn’t feel rushed and you could tell she really enjoyed it. The doctor also waived my $30 fee for taking pictures of the back of my eyes. I would recommend this place to anyone! Thank you new Paltz eye care.
The best eye care I have ever had.
I scheduled my eye visit as a shot in the dark with Highland Optometry. Now using a Medicare Advantage plan with UHC, it was difficult to find a doctor that takes my vision plan. I was delighted with the outstanding service provided by the doctor. One of the most thorough exams I have had as a normal routine yearly exam. Far more extensive than any other place I have been to. They did not attempt to up-sell anything including the eye glasses. Honest and professional. I highly recommend..
I was referred from a coworker to Dutchess Optometry. I have been wearing my monthly contacts and they have been bothering me quite often. I went to my normal optometrist who did nothing to help me. Dutchess Optometry however took care of me immediately. I was welcomed with smiles and pleasantries. The young lady that examined my glasses and assists Dr. Lappan was lovely. I knew right away this was my new optometrist. Once Dr. Lappan came in to see me she took her time and made sure that the new contacts would be better for me. I left that day loving my new contacts as I forget that I even have them on. I recommend everyone to visit and have yourself looked at. All practices should take note on how a real practice runs. I can’t wait to see Dr. Lappan and her team again.

This was my first time at Dutchess Optometry and I had a great experience from getting an appointment to having my exam and picking out my new frames. Everyone was very kind and helpful. I even brought a pair of sunglasses that were all out of shape and now they are fixed! My glasses came in so fast too! Thank you for a great service you have a good team.
They were so amazing! I was able to get an appointment in a reasonable time frame. All the staff were so friendly and listened to my concerns. Darell was especially helpful. I have really bad light sensitivity so he walked me through my options to get axon optics lens with my prescription. Dr. Coloma was also so friendly and knowledgeable. I was able to use my insurance too for a new pair of normal glasses and I love the frames. The pair I got with axon optics have already been SO helpful and I've only had them for a week. Darell was right, they aren't a miracle cure but I've definitely had less headaches. Definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a friendly, professional, and knowledgeable optometrist.

I am so glad that I made an appointment here, despite reading some bad reviews. The ladies in the front are so nice and helpful. The doctor and the tech were both very thorough and friendly. I did not experience long wait times either, like I have at other offices. They have a great selection of frames and Kristina gave me an honest opinion about frames that I was trying on and helped me pick out a perfect pair. I will definitely be going back to this office.

Efficient, knowledgeable, helpful, and polite!
I have been going to Dutchess Optometry for almost 20 years now. First seeing Dr. Sheedy and now Dr. Lappan. I have had bad eyesite since I was little. Dr. Sheedy eventually helped me get lasik at TLC and then about 13 years after that I started having other eye issues. Severe dry eye and astimatism. So for a complicated situation they are all very knowledgeable and nice. It is scary to deal with eyesite problems and they helped me get fitted for Sceleral lenses which have have been great. I would def recomend them to anyone.
I had never been to an ophthalmologist before I saw Dr. Smith. I was nervous about getting my eyes checked but him and the staff made me feel so comfortable! Would definitely recommend this office!
The care and competency I consistently receive at New Paltz eye care is so above and beyond that even after moving to MA I continue to travel to New Paltz for my care. Thank you so much for maintaining such excellent standards.
Whoever they hired as a new receptionist is nasty and unhelpful. I asked her a simple question about getting my prescription and she proceeded to tell me how my prescription was expired (even though I was there a couple months ago to get checked) and that I messed up the situation somehow. Then she perceived to tell me that I missed a payment (which I did not) and suggested that I did not have enough money to pay it. She has no diplomacy and 0 customer service skills. In the end, she ended up providing me with what I asked for in the beginning of the call. It was a very unpleasant experience and I hope other people who are looking to get eye care don’t have to go through her. I won’t be going back.

What a creep. He has all the empathy of a turnip. If you are disabled in any way, stay away. He’s condescending and he lectures.

My experience here was exceptional. The receptionist at the front desk was kind and welcoming and the technician who did my initial exam was personable and friendly. Dr. Smith was professional and took time to thoughtfully respond to all my questions. The staff was also extremely supportive in figuring out the benefits of my insurance coverage. Miriam helped me with selecting new frames, was so patient while I tried on multiple pairs, and provided helpful feedback and suggestions on which style looked the best! Dr. Descovitz is our amazing and caring eye doctor that my husband and I have seen for over 15 years. We feel so fortunate to be her patients as she is always thorough and successful in solving eye and vision problems. And, if there is an eye emergency she and her helpful staff schedule an appointment a.s.a.p. - often the day of the call. I highly recommend Dr. Descovitz.
I’ve been coming to Pearle Vision for probably 5 years. My experience is always the same, friendly, helpful and always happy to see me. I won’t go anywhere else to get my eyes checked and get my glasses.
Top notch service and a wonderful experience! All Staff were friendly, professional and thorough - from receptionist to nurse to doctor! Dr Smith spent a good deal of time with me to ensure he provided the most accurate prescription for my contact lenses and glasses. His changes to my previous prescription from another doctor were an improvement. Their offices in Jeremy Ranch are convenient to Park City and are immaculate and cosy. I will be sending my husband here next!
I decided to move my eye doc closer to home and went to Dr. Fassio. He suggested I have their clinic re-do my glasses for what “should be a more professional prescription”.. I gave them my frames and trusted his evaluation results. The glasses came back with a lower prescription and were unusable. They agreed to put my old lenses back in and still charged me $600. No consideration at all. If a 58 y/o woman comes in and shows “improvement” in her vision, I suggest you question the results before making glasses. Also, they asked my husband to come back for a repeat of the pressure testing and charged him $124 out of pocket with no results call for 3 months, when I finally called for results. Really poor customer service, I will never go back.
8/10/23 Update: Went to another doctor this week for "flashes" in my left eye that had been worsening and he told me I had PVD. When I told Dr Fassio a year ago about my right eye, he said, "Don't worry about it, it's nothing". It's not nothing and I will be followed up next month by my new Dr to be sure I don't have a retinal detachment with my left eye experiencing new PVD. So bad!
8/10/23 Update: Went to another doctor this week for "flashes" in my left eye that had been worsening and he told me I had PVD. When I told Dr Fassio a year ago about my right eye, he said, "Don't worry about it, it's nothing". It's not nothing and I will be followed up next month by my new Dr to be sure I don't have a retinal detachment with my left eye experiencing new PVD. So bad!
Two women who work there are super nice, the lady who adjusts my eyeglasses and the woman doctor who does my eye exams. The women behind the desk are pretty neutral and always helpful. There’s this one woman there who I find very rude, she always has a rude annoyed tone to her voice whenever dealing with me. She makes it painful to go there. I’ve been going there since I was a kid but dang she makes it a gross experience every time I have to interact with her. I don’t know why she’s that way to me. She talks down to me like I’m 14 and she seems deeply unhappy with her job. Maybe she’s just rude to everyone. I don’t know but genuinely her whole vibe is very off putting. Also, today I missed my appointment (complete accident, these things happen). I asked this rude woman at the desk (via phone call) if I could still make it there but I’d be late, and she said “No. that’s ~not~ okay.” Look, lady, mistakes happen but honestly that is so rude.
This is the first negative review I've ever written but feel compelled after what an awful experience I had here. My husband and I went in for our annual exams and wanted to try a new place. The atmosphere wasn't exactly friendly but ok, we read the charts and did the vision tests and then we each saw the doctor separately. When I went into his office he wanted to dialate me which I had concerns about since I had a baby with me and wasn't sure how comfortable I'd be driving after. I don't wear glasses and didn't have and symptoms so I wasn't sure if it was necessary. The doctor got so standoffish that I would even question him that he handed back my patient intake form and said I can leave! What?? What kind of medical professional acts like that, let alone treats a new patient like that. We are calm and quiet people and I was completely stunned. They refused to give me my prescription/ tell me how my vision was and all the while were trying to upsell my husband expensive Ray-Ban glasses in the next room! It was the most unprofessional 'medical' experience I've ever had. I don't understand why it was even an issue, he must have been upset he couldn't bill my insurance for the higher charges. This was not before they entered my information in the system so I will be refuting anything they try to charge me.
I also want to add that I later asked my friend, who wears glasses, of her experience here and she did not need to be dilated to have an exam! So there was no call to have been treated like that, patients have rights to question their care. Last year I went to Austin Ryan down the road and it was just fine. Save yourself the aggravation and go somewhere else.

I’ve never had glasses before. Everyone here was so kind and super helpful. The glasses have really improved my quality of life and have made me super happy.
Not only have I enjoyed the thoughtful and professional services provided by the staff at NP Eye Care, for both contacts and glasses, but they came through in a pinch for both my wife and I after we experienced some minor vision emergencies, including staying open late to see me after I got a thorn in the eye from an outing in the woods. Can't recommend them highly enough.
I broke my glasses and the heroes at Old Town Tustin Eyecare came to my rescue! I called them up to see if they could help me out and they had me come in right away - and even though my frames were a total pain to work with, they got the job done and were wonderful and welcoming the whole time. I am so appreciative of your team - what a great group!
I had what started as a simple eye infection but didn't respond to the meds I'd been given—in fact, it got exponentially worse over the course of a week. Dr. Bywater was willing to see me on a Saturday at the last minute; he immediately realized I'd been given the wrong course of treatment entirely. He was kind, thorough, and saved me from potentially severe complications. He even called to check on me a couple days later. So grateful for his help!
Dr. Bywater is so kind and patient. He has assisted myself, my husband, and our young daughter with our vision exams and glasses over the last few years. We will be forever grateful for the time that Dr. Bywater accommodated an emergency visit and successfully removed construction debris from my husband's eye. We always appreciate his thorough eye exams and his efforts in answering all of our questions in detail. On display in his office, he has a great variety of stylish glasses to choose from. His staff are also very sweet and helpful!
This office doesn’t get the credit it deserves- the staff here is great. Reading the reviews, I would never imagine anyone could be referring to Dr. Bywater and his staff this way! Dr. Bywater is kind, personable, knowledgeable and he even helped me pick out my glasses because I left my phone in the car and could not FaceTime my husband for advice. After our appointment, he even opened the door for me as I left. I will continue to recommend him to friends and family as well as continue to go back to him as long as I live in Highland.
This is one of the best eye exams I have ever had. The team is kind, expertly and efficient with your time. Highly recommend this eye doctor on every level of care.

Fantastic experience! This is a very professional group. The office staff is very courteous, knowledgeable and helpful, they don't miss a beat with scheduling, notifications or insurance. Dr. Brown (Susan) was excellent. She was extremely patient with my very detailed descriptions of my eyes and vision status, and my special needs for my computer work station set up.

Dr. Bywater was referred to me by Dr. Schwartz in Kingston for my special needs son. Dr Bywater is amazing he is thorough and precise and was very patient with my son. But one of his staff members was rude and unprofessional when we went there last summer. My son broke his glasses and another employee took care of us and she was absolutely great. I don’t know their names but hopefully I will. Thanks Dr. Bywater

Laura is the friendliest and most helpful store manager. She is extremely knowledgeable in all aspects of her job. The Doctor and Staff are all amazing! I can’t say enough good things! They taught me little tricks with my contacts that no one has ever taken the time to teach me before. They also saved my wedding day by getting me in and getting me contacts on the day of the wedding! Forever grateful!
I started going to this location about five years ago when I lived in Poughkeepsie. I have since moved to Hopewell Junction (2.5 years ago) and still travel back to Poughkeepsie for my appointments. Laura is wonderful and always welcoming, I never have to wait and the service is amazing. I always recommend the Poughkeepsie location to friends looking for a good optician. Highly recommend!! *****

Doctor was great she answered all my questions and was pleasant. The the staff were extremely polite and very helpful. Got my glasses in less then a week even though they said it could take up to 14 days. Very satisfied overall I would go back and recommend to others 👓😁🙌
Staff isn't interested with listening to their customer's needs. The staff's only focus is to maximize the sale. They kept trying to sell me things I said I didn't want or need.
Absolutely love Old Town Tustin Eye Care!! Dr. Darren Brown has been my optometrist for all of my eye care needs. I have actually gone to Dr. Brown for the past 9 years since he was at the Irvine office and moved over in Tustin. He is the best optometrist there is because he really cares about his patients and very passionate about his work. He is very detail oriented, knowledgeable, honest, personable, patient, and give the best care possible. Especially since my prescription is really high (I've been nearsighted since I was in kindergarten and only has gotten dramatically worse in high school), my eyes require the highest quality care and attention. Dr. Brown always made sure my vision is balanced from the contacts/glasses and keep up with the health of my eyes. The staff at Old Town Tustin is also very nice and attentive. The doctors and staff will definitely take care of you! I only have the highest compliment for Dr. Brown, he is my forever optometrist and my husband goes to him, too, now.

I have been going to Old Town Tustin Eye Care for a few years, and the staff is consistently professional and accommodating. They take great care of my eyes, have a clean and inviting office and carry a great selection of glasses/frames. However, the reason I return is because the staff and doctors genuinely care for me and my family. You can never underestimate the power of making someone feel valued.
