Friendly staff. If I had one complaint it was that none of the games were playable. The arcade games didn’t work and the hand held ran demos. Disappointing when you know you sed to be able to play the games at Best Buy. Besides that place was clean items were in stock and there was plenty of parking.

I specifically called into this store to ensure that when I made the trip they had the scooter I was asking for. They made me PURCHASE IT online to make sure it was available, only to arrive and they tell me it’s not available?? This is one of the worst customer service experiences I’ve encountered. The manager Taquan could care less about my experience. Seriously wth is going on, who promoted this guy? This is who you have running your store ? zero customer service or care for your patrons. DO NOT waste your time coming to this Best Buy. DO BETTER

It's was cool but it's not as fun as I remember when I was growing up. There were many sample areas to try equipment and try game systems not working or in disrepair it took away from the enjoyment. Best buy was a playground back in the day like the commercial says but far cry from what it was.

Per the recommendation of a staff member here, we purchased a cord for my son’s new graphics card. It was the only cord the store had in stock and the store associate assured us it would fit. The pin configuration wasn’t the correct one, so the cord wouldn’t work for us. Since it was their only option, we bought the correct cord on Amazon. Fast forward 44 days, I just attempted to return the packaged cord with the receipt. They wouldn’t refund the purchase ($22 and change I believe), nor would they offer store credit. No flexibility and no discussion, just a “no.” As it’s unusable to me, I gave it to the cashier to trash. Let’s see if they end up selling it as an “open item.”

Do NOT buy open box. I ordered a laptop online on a sale and got an open box one. It was stated as EXCELLENT and was $20 off. The touchpad didn’t work at all. Save yourself the hassle and just buy the new one. The associates at this store were very kind and helpful. They were able to replace the laptop at the sale price. Jay was very helpful and kind.

I'm only doing this because there is a young man there that went beyond to help me, something one of his colleagues didn't even try to do. Elhaj I hope I'm spelling the name right if not please forgive me, Elhaj save me 2 hours of my day by going out of his way to help me pick up my purchase, that's the type of energy that makes people like me visit this store again and spend my money with a smile on my face, thanks.

Great Best Buy experience at the Town Center store. Took forever to order it online for instore pickup. But my order was ready in less time than it took to drive to the store, and I was inside less than 10 min. All in all it took longer to charge my new drone than to buy it. Great job Best Buy...

one of the worse customer service experience ever. the manager of this store and the staff are very unprofessional. on may 26th 2024, I went into the store to purchase 2 computers, I scanned the QR codes and requested that the staff pull the computers. I waited in line to pay for my items, I stood there for 40 minutes, while I waited the staff behind the counter kept taking other customers who came after me. This didn't sit well with me so I asked to speak to a manger. A very heavy man dressed in all black who looks like a bouncer at a night club or the security guard came over and responded to me by shaking his head. I explained to him that I was waiting for a long time, he then pointed out an employee that was supposed to be pulling my items, but to my knowledge he was helping yet another person on the floor. He then called the employee over and asked him if he was helping me or helping someone els. the employee said he was helping me which to my knowledge isn't correct when I saw him attending to someone els. the manager then turned to me and said out loud, '' YOU NOT GONNA APOLOGIZE TO ME? " he made it seem like I was the problem and he was the victim staking his head and complaint to the staff that I wasn't going to say sorry. All I asked was to pay for the 2 computers and leave....I have been a loyal Best Buy credit card holder for 15 years and this was my breaking point, rather than helping to address the real problem this "manager " made it seem as I was the problem. VERY RUDE !!!!

This review is for the staff and customer service, I am giving two stars because the store is stocked well. however, it is poorly run. The customer service is poor, the employees never pay any attention to customers, if a customer asks for help, you receive a flat and uninterested response or they just ignore you. I went in to buy a new refrigerator, was in the store for 45 plus minutes, asked an employee multiple times for assistance, but got ignored. Finally fed up, I left and went to P.C Richards in Rockville center. They greeted me, an employee was available to answer all my questions and I made a purchase of $2,100. This could have been an easy sale for the Best Buy store. But lack of customer service led to going to a different business for purchase.
I recommend you only go to this store if you need some small merchandise, don’t make any major purchases of appliances because the service is not good.

Lexie is my voice teacher at New City School Of Music, and is absolutely amazing. She has taught me and helped me grow in so many ways and I am so grateful to have her as my teacher. This school is absolutely amazing and I definitely recommend it to anyone who is thinking about growing their skills in music.

We have been coming here for years and absolutely love this school! Jeanette and Laura are so kind, pleasant, helpful, and fun to talk to while waiting for my children in the lobby. My boys work with Steve and Juan, my daughter learns from Merecco, and I have the pleasure of taking lessons with Hunter. Learning music has really enriched our lives and has brought a lot of joy into our home. All of the teachers are dedicated, talented, skilled and patient. The twice a year recitals are a lot of fun too and give us all something to strive for. Definitely recommend!

I came to this Best Buy a few years ago to get a custom audio system installed in my car. The result after only around $250 was very professional and sounded amazing. Last week I needed to sell the car, and had scheduled another appointment to get the system removed. I was pleasantly surprised to find out that Best Buy does not charge for the removal of components that were installed by their technicians previously. Fantastic job with the removal, they were even kind enough to wrap up my amps to protect them.
If you get this type of service I heavily recommend using a phone number for the receipt.

I had the most frustrating experience with Geek Squad at the Best Buy in Valley Stream. Despite driving for an hour to make my appointment, I arrived just 9 minutes late due to unavoidable traffic. I politely asked them to proceed with the installation, but was met with incompetence and indifference. Even after showing them proof on my phone and in the app that all the information was correct, they claimed I had the wrong booking. It's disappointing that such a simple request couldn't be accommodated after the effort I made to get there. Avoid this location at all costs.

Alright now - I'm mad I can't give this location NEGATIVE stars. My experience here in April 2024 to buy a MacBook Air was almost unbearable. I literally came in for the laptop, decided and everything, but the experience there made me want to leave and abort mission of buying a laptop.
First off, good luck finding anyone to assist you/retrieve the item you're hoping to purchase. Pretty counter intuitive for business associates to not be available to service the customer. How can you even make revenue/money like that? Anyway.
Secondly, why is the music so loud in there? While I love music and understand that the store sells speakers/systems - I understand it makes sense for them to be testing/demo'ing the speakers. But playing the whole new Metro Boomin x Future album (the album is kinda good tho) on full blast was irritating IN ADDITION to not being able to find a sales associate.
Lastly and most importantly, I had an intolerable/incompetent sales rep, once I finally tracked one down. He seemed annoyed that I asked for help. When I asked questions about the device and its storage space (indicating I wanted a specific spec), he consistently SPOKE OVER ME/TRIED TO FINISH ALL MY SENTENCES . And was incorrect! He acted knowledgable/as an expert but clearly was not. At the register, I confirmed with him that I had the right storage amount on the device. I got home for unboxing.... unsurprisingly, WRONG SPEC. Now I will be returning the device and have to deal with all of the aforementioned once again.
Further, I attempted to make the purchase via the store CC. That was disastrous as well. I'm over it (this comment) so I will stop here. Just save yourself 2-3 hours and a massive headache -- and purchase your stuff online or at a better ranked Best Buy brick and mortar. Good luck!

The Rock Shop is a local gem! Their extremely knowledgeable staff expertly diagnosed and repaired my bass, researched and found parts for my vintage drum set, and Seth, their drum instructor is a pro. Jeff, Caroline and Dylan are friendly, incredible people that will happily help with anything you need. And their prices are fair!

I would give them zero star for their Customer service. Not enough employees to attend the customer service. I went their to buy a Home theatre and Big screen.

I purchased a appliance and installation. Before they arrived. They told me that they can't install it. I read the site carefully during order, so I'm very disappointed. Very inconvenient. I paid for the installation, now they want more money. I don't suggest buying appliances here. The service and follow-up is not reliable.
Definitely purchase with a credit card in case you need to file a charge back. Merchants hate it when you claw back money they try to steal from you.

This Hot Topic is in Meadows Mall and is very convenient for pickups, exchanges, and random browsing. I am now in my 40s and have been buying from this store since my younger years living back home in Hawaii. Oh, nostalgia! Now I bring my 14 year old son here to buy clothes and collectibles. It's amazing how multiple generations can find things to buy here.
Another great thing about this location is the staff. Katie helped to reorder a bag that I received that had a crack on the print and was soooo nice about it. Every time I have seen her, she has been so friendly. Layla and the other girls are amazing, too. Shout out to John and the other employees I forgot. You make shopping here such a great experience. 5 stars BUT one caution. I was resistant to go to this Best Buy because I had such a lousy experience at the Roseville Best Buy store. Stephanie and the other staff who helped me with a new cell phone purchase were EXCELLENT!!! IF my phone is really delivered and ready to go as promised this Friday, I will send an update on this review. My only warning for anyone in a hurry (and let's face it, that is frequently what can happen if your phone suddenly breaks like mine...) they have VERY FEW staff members who can help with phones. They did say that you can make a reservation, BUT I have never had any luck trying to call and speak to anyone at the actual store. I would suggest popping into the store and hope you get lucky. If not, have a back-up plan to make an appointment there onsite and go run some errands or something. When I arrived someone was getting their first phone and learning how to use Gmail. The tech was very patient and that was nice to see with someone from a much older generation needing to switch to a cell phone. My mother went through that in her 80's and that can be a difficult (but fruitful) transition. Okay, good luck with your trip to this Best Buy. Plan ahead if you can. IF you need repairs I highly recommend the place next door to Belair which is just a couple minutes away. They rock!!!

After losing over 115k reward points from gamestop (over $100 worth of rewards) due to new policy, they refused to compensate me back. So I decided to take my business elsewhere. I wanted to buy my son a PS5 and several accessories, so I decided to try Best Buy. They were courteous and knowledgeable. Moving forward, I'll take all my gaming needs to Best Buy.

The staff are always super helpful. If you cant find something they can use their scanner to look it up and a light will flash next to the item for ease of location. One of the coolest ways to track inventory ever.

Basically a Barnes and noble burnished with the golden name of yale. I somehow expected something more but it certainly meets the need and yoj can also enjoy Gray Matter just about next door for the bibliophilic experience that this store doesn't have

This is my favorite Hot Topic in Las Vegas. John is the manager and he's always so sweet and kind, always goes out of his way to make sure our shopping experience is great. This location is also really stocked most days and it's not so crowded so it's great!

TOTAL TECH IS A SCAM. Today my phone was stolen and I was told they can't do anything about it at all. That I would have to continue paying a phone I don't have. As well that I would need to purchase a new phone because they can't do anything. I purchased a phone in September, I specifically asked for just protection on the phone. I let the worker know this 3 times and said once that I don't want the membership. As soon as I leave the store. I get an email about a membership. I go back into the store to speak with customer service was told that the membership was a protection plan.... again I specifically stated I didn't want a membership. They told me that it's the best thing because it even covers devices I have at home as well. I would have to renew it every year for $180. I asked what does it cover about the phone. They told me everything. Clearly not everything when I go in today to figure out how to make a claim. I'm told they don't cover lost and theft. Which is ridiculous because if I'm paying $180 for a membership a year it should be covered. Atleast charge a certain price if lost to get a new one like any other company. Not only that it should be told that they don't cover loss or theft before purchasing. Now I'm stuck paying for a phone that I don't have. Was signed up for a membership that I didn't ask for at all to being with. I can't even use. If I was told they didn't cover lost/theft I wouldn't even have brought that phone to being with. BEWARE OF THESE WORKERS. They love signing people up for memberships and not disclosing certain information. They just want to make a sale.

I’ve been playing for over 60 years, and teaching for over 50 years. This studio has an impressive faculty. The best of their generation teaching a variety of instruments in any style from rock to classical to jazz and anything in between. They also perform perfect repairs. From 1976 my luthier was Tom Doyle. Tom was the luthier of choice for Les Paul, George Benson, Paul McCartney and others too numerous to mention. Tom is now retired. I take my repairs and setups seriously. Dylan has done work on many of my instruments, many of them priceless vintage instruments. Some of the instruments I have entrusted him with are my 1974 Martin D-35, Taylor Big Baby, 1959 Gretsch Archtop, Ovation, two Telecasters, Johnson Resonator mandolin banjo, 1937 Stradolin Mandolin, 1961 Gibson A Style Mandolin, 1956 Gibson L-50, Vintage Harmony 12 String, my Strats, my Martin Backpacker, my Baldwin 1970 Plectrum Banjo, and my 1927 Slingerland Maybelle Tenor Banjo. All repairs impeccably performed. I give the Rock Shop my highest endorsement.

The Customer service in this location is disgusting. I asked to speak to a manager and they simply said they don’t know who’s the manager. One female cashier simply went to her manager and said IF ONE MORE PERSON ASKS ME ANOTHER QUESTION IM GOING TO CURSE THEM OUT. The manager just walked away and said nothing. The manager seen me there and simply not once ever approach me. I purchased a 85 Inch Tv via online picked it up the next day after they texted me and informed me the tv was ready. They had me waiting a whole hour and kept saying the tv was in the Ware House. when i finally received the tv, they REFUSED TO HELP ME AND SAID THEY CAN ONLY TAKE IT TO THE ELEVATOR. If I’m buying a 85” T.V how do you expect me to carry that? How? If it wasn’t for my taxi driver helping me not even an employee!!! I’d still be at that store waiting.

The Auburn Best Buy store is not huge or busy but the help was friendly and helpful. I was glad I checked stock on hand before I left home since the item purchased was the last one there! The section I was in seemed to have a lot of empty shelves. But they had what I needed and it was a good shopping experience

Very bad experience, staff are not helpful and they are spending their time by chitchatting and not helping. I am on visit from Dubai and came all the way to buy some stuff but due to unprofessional behavior, not gonna buy anything and worst part is that so called customer service manager was even more unprofessional and rather than listening my issue, was arguing !! I believe they are onboarded without customer services training. Good luck to owners !!

This is a great store in a great location. They have an amazing number of flat screen TVs. If you want ut, it's there. And the prices are very competitive because I checked online. But because I bought a tv at the store I can go there in five minutes if anything goes wrong. But I don't expect that to happen. They seem to be understaffed like every other store post-covid. But they have enough information to shop without help. We were in and out in thirty minutes.

Ordered a TV for pickup and when I got there I realized I bought the wrong item. I bought a 65” but I meant to purchase a 43”😅The staff were very helpful with helping figure out my options and correct this matter. I will be returning to this location for all of my future purchases 👍🏾

Sales were awesome, but besides the brother who brought me my TV ,he had no customer service. When I walked to him, he'd blasted the radio to tune out my needs. I had to wait for someone else to ask me for help. But the same man who ignored me was the same man who brang me my TV with an attitude. Overall, the whole point is Best Buys has deals. So, if you can ignore rude customer service. Just focus on enjoying your products at a great discounted price.

Nice area, Nice items, but they’re overpriced, and no sales associates try to help you or acknowledge you when you walk in or around the store. If you want college gear, go store a few minutes up before you get to this one. The staff is nice, they acknowledge you, and they have better priced items. I forgot the name of it, but it’s not more than five minutes from this store. It’s by a consignment store.

They have great customer service. Helpful and informative. We Bought a new computer and a new refrigerator with 18 months free interest! We also purchased their $199 a year service package. Where everything is free, set up, take away instructions, anything you need! The Geek Squad will come out and help you with everything and anything having to do with your products. The only bad thing is you can't call the store directly and get help over the phone or ask questions you may have.

Took my 13-year-old daughter in there she loved the clothes they were so helpful and the people that are just simply amazing. Their personalities are beautiful and they are very perky. The company is blessed to have them you don't always get that personality or that type of vibe anymore from a lot of places. We will go there again

The Rock Shop in Nyack is a sparkling gem of a music store and music school. They cater to the beginner guitar student all the way up to seasoned players and musicians. Jeff, one of the owners, is an absolute pleasure to deal with. He's friendly, outgoing, patient and, most importantly, Honest! Not only is The Rock Shop an amazing store and school, the owners are involved in events which benefit Nyack entertainment and quality of life. Their "Free String Friday" is an example of this. Do yourself a favor and skip the "big box" music stores in Bergen County and go directly to The Rock Shop. You'll get whatever you need at fair prices and you'll make a good friend at the same time. I’ve been a friend of the owners’ for years but in a few short minutes you’ll see that the character and passion and precision driving the Rock Shop is so evident if you have the pleasure of chatting with Dylan. But even more important than the talent, commitment and generosity there is a pure love for what is being given: Love of music and love AS music. As a fellow business owner in town it gave me so much joy today to stop in and listen to Dylan strum his guitar for a little bit and chat about his Baby and Me music class. The passion and joy that drives him is contagious. This is the place to come to work with true disciplined artists and most importantly, good people.

Love this shop! Great selection and variety of instruments. The folks who work there are very knowledgeable and friendly. I have purchased a beautiful 12 string from them and had another guitar worked on and couldn't be happier with the results. I will certainly be coming here for all of my future guitar needs!

After a great deal of research for a banjo for my son, I happened to walk into the Rock Shop and the perfect banjo at a great price was right here in Nyack! Wonderful service! Dylan brought my daughter’s fender back to life! He researched and found a set of harmonicas for a gift and the recipient was thrilled. He found a “new to us pedal” for my younger son at a great price. He is kind and patient with my disabled daughter who loves music! Shop local the prices are great and the service can’t be beat!

Reminder* Never shop at Best Buy!!! Their return policy is literally the worst, and their customer service always leaves me fuming! I don't understand how this place is still in business after literally every purchase I make from here I regret! Not only that, but their attitudes towards customers is just sad. Watched multiple customers deal with similar frustrations while waiting to be helped, and it made me just want to walk out and saw screw the whole thing, mark it off as a $30 loss. Shame on you Best Buy

This bookstore is absolutely incredible multiple floors awesome selection of books, and all types of Yale memorabilia, Legos, games, Electronics, stuff for the dorm, makeup, greeting cards, the only thing they really don't have is food and drink other than that it's way more than I was expecting

Went to get a new carpet power cleaner(which I highly recommend). I had a 5-year insurance swapped out and had to buy new insurance on the new one. It deep cleans very well. Has great features, including one that helps dry the carpet.

I have been buying computers for my office for years and years. I bet 10 or so over the last 15 years.
This was my first time ever buying a home appliance from them.
My wife picked out a side by side and thought she would love it.
Upon delivery and set up dread set in as she realized the new unit would not even come close to holding everything she had just emptied out of the old unit.
Ouch
But she pressed on and tried to love it. Long story short, the unit was just too small.
As promised, before the 15 days were up she went in and picked out a larger capacity unit, paid the difference and with in a few days Best Buy picked up the original refrigerator and unpacked and set up the new one.
It was truly an amazing experience.
Customer service was excellent and this store policy made me a customer for life.

Nice shop with reasonably price goods and great selection! Winter hours in effect Monday- Friday 12 to 4 pm. Saturday 11 to 4, Sunday 12 to 3pm.
