Literally the worst bank customer service ever! I called to get a replacement debit card and the stupid customer service representative didn't even do it! Had me wait 2 weeks for nothing. When you call them, the customer representatives don't even know what they're doing and would continue to transfer you to other customer service representatives with no help! DO NOT OPEN A BANK ACCOUNT HERE! Terrible service!
never sent my replacement debit card, was told it would be overnighted, never received tracking info, was told I would have to wait two days just to hear back regarding the issue. it has now been two weeks since I ordered a new card and I was just hung up on by a rep. never banking w you folks again I’m sorry.
As a Realtor in the competitive market of Miami, DSCR loans can be difficult to do when many deals are cash. However, MoFin lending allowed my buyer to have an aggressive offer with as well as the ability to finance the property at a great rate. Michael was a great help throughout the process and always was happy to keep me updated with the status of the loan. I will be sending many more buyers to them in the future.

I understand security, but the way they do it, they won’t even give me access to MY OWN money. The turnover rate makes me think the customer facing staff are poorly paid and likely abused by those higher in the hierarchy.
A wise man once said “A picture tells a thousands words”. Just look into this guys eyes and you’ll see who he is - cold, self-centered to the core and solely concerned about his profit. Gregg not only tried to push his services on me and didn’t want to take no for an answer, but he was vicious towards a friend of mine. I was also told by an old friend, when inquiring about Gregg, that he is a slum lord. There’s even an article about it. Do the world a favor and find a different loan officer.
I have been a member since I graduated college in 1997. My Army veteran father has been with them for many years after working at the Pentagon. SDFCU has been an outstanding financial institution to our family. Every service I've ever needed from their educational scholarship to my current mortgage has been approved by this credit union. After seeing the shocking 2 star ratings, I felt compelled to share MY experience. Thank you to SDFCU for being my favorite banking institution. I'm proud to be a customer you have never disappointed me.

MoFin was great with our commercial real estate loans. Super flexible and smart. Their rates were competitive, but the customer service was superb. The kind of folks you'd like to have a beer after you close! We will be working with them again... and again.
You DO NOT control your OWN money with State Dept FCU this bank is absolutely terrible they control which purchases get declined or not. When I go out of town my card declines for no reason, even around my neighborhood it declines my purchases at 7eleven (has anyone else experienced this?)

I've been working with Mofin lending for about 6 years now and I love how quick, responsive and professional they are! I've bought turn key rentals with them, I've bought rehab houses with them, they've covered 100% of rehab costs and then Refinanced out into a 30 year fixed product. Heck they even helped me out during Covid and did a bridge loan for me to keep my liquidity up! 5 stars all day, I can't recommend them enough!

I had such a great experience with MoFin Lending Corp! My pre-approval for my multi family rental was quick and easy and the whole loan process went very smoothly from start to finish! I will definitely be working with the MoFin team again very soon!

Don’t do it!!!!!!! I have been a member of this credit union for over 18yrs and within the last 2-3yrs the service and competency has drastically declined. I had my direct deposit rerouted to a much more stable and reliable credit Union account because for some reason this scammy a** credit Union kept withdrawing funds randomly, causing overdrafts to accounts and then mysteriously redepositing the money whenever they finished whatever scam they’re enacting. I closed my secured credit card (a credit card funded by my own funds) and they reported it to the credit bureaus as a charge off. I tried several times to rectify the situation and every time I called the rep that left me a message I would be put on hold and the call essentially disconnected EVERY SINGLE TIME!!!!
As first time buyers, we were nervous and unfamiliar with the loan application process. The team at FM Home Loans was patient, thorough and very supportive at each step along the way. They made a daunting task manageable and understandable for us. Highly recommend this team. We would definitely work with them again.

Lafayette Credit Union has been a joy to bank with. I worked with Josue Willets at the Kensington Branch to open a business account and the amount of dedication Josue showed to opening our account was heartwarming. He felt like a part of the team! He and the rest of the team at Lafayette made the whole experience seamless and easy.
MoFin helped me secure my first fix and flip. As a newbie investor I feel like I definitely lucked up finding them. The entire team was great and the communication was excellent. Being that it was my first deal using hard money I definitely wanted to make sure I crossed my T's and dotted my I's. MoFin definitely made that easy for me. Michael, Tyler, George, Jim, and everyone on the Mofin Lending Team are the absolute best! Stop looking and call this team for your hard money or otherwise needs. They're al pros-pros. We were in a dire situation regarding our closing process and the previous lender flaked at the 11th hour. So based on Bigger Pockets reviews we decided to desperately give Mofin a shot. After reviewing our application and getting to know the property, market and my wife and I, they unlike most lenders/banks, had made a decision to finance the deal first before documentation requests! This is very unique in the industry and in my opinion the absolute best. It may sound corny, but the folks at Mofin actually were an integral part of making my wife and I's dream come fruition!
Ms Alda Allen, the Branch manager and another young lady (I cannot remember her name) all have shown me extraordinarily very good customer service. I have not experienced this type of service in a very long time. Cuddos to them for all they do. I definitely will tell family and friends of my experience with LFCU.
After initial difficulty reaching the Lafayette Credit Union and speaking to a call center representative, I was put in touch with Ms. Alda Allen, who was finally able to resolve my issues in a very friendly, professional and effective manner ! She followed through and up with me on every step of the procedures that had to be completed on my end and on hers until everything was resolved in a satisfactory way.

Adanna at CHT is amazing, customer friendly and professional every business owner dream, she goes above and beyond the job, every member is greeted with a smile I have banking for 12 years at Lafayette and I can't imagine going anywhere else.
I have visited the branch on Kenyon Street many times and the staff has always been friendly, courteous. knowledgeable and professional. Based on recommendations from the manager and other staff, I have been able to purchased a number of worth-while step CDs. To show how much I really appreciate the advice and curtesy of the staff, I have deposited a majority portion of my investments during the past couple of years in Lafayette at the Kenyon Street branch.
Today, and the previous three times I have been to the Lafayette Federal Credit Union, Kenyon Branch, I received amazing service. The staff were ready and willing to work with me until my issue was resolved. I felt important and not just a number. Thank you Xan, Alfred and your team! I've been with this credit union a very long time and the level of service that I received today was terrible! The virtual assistant phone system is beyond terrible. I've spent well over 1.50 hours on hold and the call dropped only to have to call back and be left on hold again. I know management has to know about the horrible level of service. Financial access is important to customers and the callous manner in which this credit union is being managed has to be reported to an outside agency! My issue was never resolved so my time was wasted!
Update: I've never had such horrific experiences with a financial institution and the ability to access MY money! It's definitely time to leave.

ADA was so helpful. I recent moved to DC and needed assistance and she was there without a double. This women is incredible. She took the time to help me even if I didn’t have Lafayette bank. I will definitely be getting a bank here soon, and will be back very soon to this location.

I have done three mortgages through the Busch Team and have found them to be responsive and very much in front of the process. With other companies the process has been fraught with problems and lots of 11th hour requests for information. With First Savings there were no surprises and this part of the transaction was secured well in advance of the closing. I would and have highly recommended this company to friends and family.

Loved working with Jackie, Gregg, and Min to buy our first home - and would highly recommend First Savings! They were helpful, knowledgeable, and always watching out for us. In a process where you get so much information and have so many things to do and review and sign, they were there to bring clarity and peace of mind. I truly felt like they were our advocates and would highly recommend them!
Attempting to get prequalified for a mortgage as first time home buyers is intimidating as it is. However we never felt like the person we were working with had their paperwork together or knew what they were doing. She came back with one number and 20 minutes later a different number because she forgot something. Took over a week as she kept asking for additional information that was already on the paperwork we had provided.
DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME THEY WILL RIP YOU OFF WITH HIGH POINTS AND FEES THAT GO RIGHT INTO THE BROKER GUY COOKS POCKET. THEY CHARGE YOU FULL INTEREST ON REHAB MONEY YOU HAVE NOT EVEN USED AND CHARGE HUGE LATE FEES. BEWARE OF MPM THERE ARE MUCH BETTER LENDERS THEN THIS COMPANY

I have been a member of EPFCU for over 10 years. I am in good standing with the credit union- no NSF fees or returned checks. Recently the branch manager, Tia, decided to revoke my debit card privileges. I called several times to ALL LOCATIONS to contact her. For over a week I was told "she's not available and there's nothing we can do to help you." How horrible! I couldn't be more upset. I pay all of my bills via this account. I even had to drive 15 miles out of my way to go to one of the location just to withdraw cash. While there, I requested a new card. Because I never received the card, I contacted the main office where Tia informed me that she would consider giving me back my card privileges with good behavior. I didn't argue with her. I simply replied, "ok". Not liking a person does not give her the right to abuse or mis-use her "authority".
