Despite reading other reviews on sloppy blood draw I gave this location a try and have to confirm that the phlebotomist is completely useless. When she was done she didn't have a bandaid ready and just walked away looking for one while the needle was still in the arm, then moved it around. I spare you the photo, as others already uploaded theirs but it's all purple now and swollen. Won't be coming back to this location! Hire trained people.

I've been in and out quickly both times I've been here and it's only 5 mins from home. The staff has been friendly and answered all of my questions. I haven't had great experiences with healthcare in general, so this has been a pleasant surprise.

More than two hours to have a blood sample drawn. About 1:50 hours to be called in the counter after getting a ticket, with only 6 people in front, because apparently I "don't know the circumstances of people coming in, and there might be people with appointments". Being left for 20 minutes alone in the draw room, after intake, to have to go out to look for someone to finally come take the sample. Facility dirty, with open boxes with supplies pulled against every wall, hair laying in the trays were the needless are. The "supervisor" is attending two windows in the reception, and has to stop to attend complains from unruly patients like me requesting to know the name of the technician who left me for 20 minutes in the room after having a seizure.

One of the worst experiences I have ever
been through.
First of all the technicians inside the lab treat people as numbers not as patients, in a cold and distant way.

Second the person who withdrew the blood from my arm made a terrible mistake, she put the clean cotton pad on a tray that had old blood spots on it from previous patients then put it back on my arm after the procedure, I couldn't speak then but I through the cotton pad and used a new clean one.

Also the waiting time is too long .

The results takes longer than it should to
appear on patient portal.

Although I wrote my feedback on this experience on my medstar patient portal, nothing happened and no one called me to investigate this.

I don't want to go there anymore.

The phlebotomist here was incompetent and needs training. A simple blood draw was so painful, and they will likely end up hurting you.

Ms. Vernice from the Hanford Quest branch provided me with exceptional assistance during my recent visit for blood work. She demonstrated great patience and understanding, particularly for those like me who may struggle with new technology. Ms. Vernice went out of her way to help me with my proof of insurance, and her work ethic is truly commendable.

What stood out most was her genuine care for her patients. She treated me with dignity and respect, making my first-time experience far less daunting. Thanks to her, the process was not painful, and I am deeply grateful for her outstanding support. Ms. Vernice, thank you once again for your exceptional service.

I’ve been going here for routine bloodwork for years at this point, and it’s honestly always been quick and easy.

The check in process at the kiosks is super smooth, and really helpful if you’re a regular.

I’ve got a phobia of needles and generally break out on cold sweats and clammy hands despite having my blood drawn dozens of times at this point. But the folks there have always been very nice and chat with me to distract me. I also have really small/hidden veins, and they’ve been able to work with me by using tiny needles and collecting from obscure spots (back of my hand, back of my wrist, etc.).

Shout out to Erica who worked with me today! I believe she’s drawn my blood a couple times and she’s always made it so painless and quick. 🙌🏼

I went to Labcorp Medical Plaza and I was in and out in 10 minutes. Erica helped me while I was doing my self check in. Then she only stuck me ONE time. I have very small veins and I was prepared to be a pin cushion. This was a great experience with her there.
I dropped my son off at the DMV and then headed to Quest for my and my daughter's blood work. I had to take time off work because they don't take appointments after 3 pm. After waiting for 2 hours, my son was done before me! That's pretty sad when the DMV is faster than your business. With so many small feeder towns around Hanford, I would think that Quest could see that there is a high demand here. I don't blame the employees because it isn't their fault. All three of them are working hard. But this business needs to fix something here. Ridiculous.

I Scheduled my daughter an appointment on by online. i checked in and opted to wait in the car and get a call. one entire hour passed and no call, txt or email was ever received. therefor, I go inside and our name is not in the wait list. I bring my concern to someone and they are rude. They tell me to check in as a stand by and eventually I will get seen... not the costumer service I was expecting. I agree that appointments are priority clearly I was not a priority. therefor time wasted. At the end we did not get seen, or did anyone come to us to tell us if they were going to fit us in or not, or just make their way down the list. very disappointing.
Why bother making an appointment... They take walk ins and push the appointment back an HOUR... Two days in a row same thing... Get here for appointment and sit for 50min first day 65min second day before called in... It's not just a one off busy day. It's apparent it's a regular iccuesnce.

Another day-
Back to drop off a sample container... They are refusing it saying they can't find the order in the computer! They found it to give us the sample container 24hrs ago... Dr called and they told the Dr they gave no record but Dr has a confirmation from their fax machine getting it AND they originally called the Dr back yesterday to verify which sample they were doing! And the container says QUEST in it so it obviously came from them.....

I came here to get lab work done, I did not have an appointment but just checked in at the kiosk which was very easy and within about 10 minutes they called me back for my bloodwork. There is a board that shows you where you are in line. The tech was really sweet and funny and took my mind off the bloodwork. In & out in less than 20 minutes!

15 minutes late for an appointment for two small children both of whom had appointments. The woman were nasty. They obviously didn’t want to do their jobs or help patients. More than half an hour before they close, and they wouldn’t see us or any other patient. Unbelievable.

The worst experience and horrible customer service in my 51 years of life. I have never had a more terrible health service anywhere. Absolutely the worst lab support in Hanford Ca. Absolutely HORRIBLE!!! Job security workers who care less about helping people and earning their check. I hated it. I absolutely hated their lack of empathy or care. Go elsewhere. This business has to be a reflection of QD’s everywhere. They truly suck at helping people.

I had my PCP send them an order via fax, but they did not have it for whatever reason. They then want you to send them an email with this information to an unsecure email they have posted on a flyer and on top of that there's no WIFI access or signal in the office to be able to do that.
I had a very bad experience here this morning and have been thinking about it all day. The check in process was easy enough, once called back the lady helping me was so rude. I didn’t hear her the first time and she raised her voice in annoyance. She continued to speak to me like I was dumb. I’m telling you, I didn’t even know how to react. Once she put the blood pressure cuff on me, she walked out of the room and cursed under her breath. I have no idea what she’s going through, but it’s unacceptable to treat others this way. I feel violated that I just sat there and took it. Quest- I recommend you get new staff.

Both ladies working the front desk were extremely rude. It's sad to have experienced that considering how many people will be coming here during a hard time in their life. Service was terrible, bad attitude, unapologetically mean. I was nice regardless how they treated me but it didn't change either of their attitudes. Save yourself the bad service and go to the lab corp on 21st instead.

Don’t come here unless you have nowhere to be after. There was one phlebotomist working with a queue of 16 people. People started giving up and leaving. I waited almost an hour to be seen despite being 30 minutes early for my appointment. To top it off the employee was extremely sharp with me. It may not be the staff’s fault that they are understaffed and overbooked, but she took out her bad day on me.

Very rude staff with an attitude. Give you dirty looks when you ask questions. I waited close to 30 minutes after checking in. I asked the front desk lady if the check in had gone through since they had called everyone that arrived after me. She said no and asked me to check in again. After checking in again, another staff member said they had called me multiple times, which was a lie. I told them I had new insurance and didn’t even take my new insurance. Overall, terrible customer service.

They make you set an appointment, but you end up waiting 45 min because they still allow walk ins and prioritize them. There’s not a human to talk to about problems on your appointment, while junkies are prioritized.

DO NOT GO - LOSES RESULTS AND BILLS $700 FOR BLOOD WORK
I had the misfortune of coming to this location after reading old positive reviews however they must have deteriorated in quality lately. I came for a simple blood draw however after months of waiting, both my physician and I never received any results. Results were simply lost. Then I was slammed with a +$650 bill for the single blood test. Absolutely ridiculous. Save yourself and do not go to a Labcorp. I am looking into filing an official complaint with DC especially since customer service is impossible to reach.

Horrific experience both times. Beware of extrmely slow check in times. First time I went not enough blood was collected so I was asked to come back, and when I did- they asked for some payment on a random bill I’ve never heard of from 2018 - that they did not request in the first place.

After explaining the situation over and over, and stating the fact I came back because of THEIR mistake, and had already signed a payment reciept for this appointment- someone finally decided to step in and bring us to a healthy resolve.

Silver lining is some kind staff, but overall- I highly do not recommend coming here. The incompetence and dismissive attitude I received today was enough to ward me off for a lifetime.

No one was there to tell me that you have to be a patient of this facility to get blood work done here. Finally saw the sign. Massive waste of time and frankly this place shouldn't even come up in a google search, or at a minimum it should have a title like "Labcorp for Centura Patients Only." Really, really upset about the wasted time today. Labcorp has been missing the mark a lot lately with false advertising about their hours on Google (despite me helping correct them, only to have that undone). Might change labs. It's getting ludicrous.

Not sure a facility could have more carless, rude, unpleasant and downright nasty employees... My wife and I are here for the summer and needed some labs drawn. After not finding accurate information online and no one answering the phone, she stopped by the facility to asked if they've received orders from our doctor back home. Instead of explaining things as a decent human being, they rudely and abruptly cut her off and said they didn't have a fax machine. She then asked if there's a way they could've received an order as our doctor said she had sent one. They then threw paperwork at her and told her to go somewhere else as apparently they refuse to treat/care for patients from out of town and then yelled at her, again stating they don't have a fax machine. She proceeded to leave very upset without a care in the world from that office. Clearly customer service or even human decency doesn't exist at this facility. A simple courteous response was all that was necessary but these employees are simply not capable of being decent...

I was seen within 15 minutes of my appointment time with no one else there waiting. There was only one lab tech on site that I could tell, plus someone working at the front desk, so it was a little slow for a simple test. The tech (Diamond) was on speaker phone with her car insurance company the entire time, which was unprofessional and definitely not allowed in a medical setting where patient information is being discussed.

They truly do not care about you here all of the staff are rude and do not care they want you in and out. Especially if you are frightened of needles or blood they have no empathy for you whatsoever. Absolutely incompetent up and down, from admin to front staff to lab technicians. Three reasons here:

First, they filled THE WRONG LAB ORDER. But they billed the CORRECT ordering physician. So someone in admin screwed up. Lab technicians drew too much blood and did the WRONG TESTS. Absolutely despicable and a WASTE of my time, my money, and my samples.

Then, they promised they tested a specific specimen at their office, and provided a sterile cup. Brought the sample in the next week. They said they don’t take those samples. AGAIN AN ABSOLUTE WASTE AND HORRIFIC example of miscommunication AT the patient’s expense.

Lastly, staff are completely rude and act completely dumb - are no help not kind whatsoever.

Will never go to any LabCorp again because of this experience.

Will file a complaint to the medical board and submit one to DC gov’t too. They are not competent and have NO BUSINESS managing patients’ health and samples.

Having been to several surrounding branches of LabCorp, this is the one to go to. I know it seems weird promoting a place that hands you a sample cup and sticks needles in you, but the staff at this scrappy branch are fast, polite, and skilled. They make the process as expedient and painless as possible

Simply excellent, I was in & out in under 15 minutes! I made an appointment online about an hour before, super easy. Staff was so warm + kind & the phlebologist who took my blood should teach classes: she got me in one painless stick & I blinked & three vials were filled. 10/10 I’ll come back here for all my blood related needs

Called beforehand and gave all of my information to make sure they could do my labs. When I get there and check in (I scan my insurance again) and wait for over an hr, I get into a room and am told they won't take my insurance. They pass off all of the responsibility to someone else and I leave with my time wasted. The only thing I would've done differently is not use them at all. I Do not recommend.

Normally I get anxious during blood work as I am scared of needles and have had bad experiences where the nurse can’t find my veins and pokes around trying to find them.
That was not my experience at this place! The nurse was very calming here and clearly knew what she was doing. I barely felt it at all and was surprised when it was over. Came here because of the good reviews and would come back again for bloodwork due to quality and friendliness of staff.

been getting blood drawn 2x/year for 7 years now - never have I been bruised from the draw until I went here. the phlebotomist seemed distracted and upset, which must've contributed to the painful draw I had and resulting bruising.

Check-in was seamless, but the draw was pretty poor.

My best experience during the last year in a medical lab or facility in Washington and Virginia. The lab manager or head nurse was very genuinely caring and kind. The nurse that took my blood named Aryana was equally professional, friendly and kind. Thank you all.

Wouldnt accept electronic order, told me to print across the street at fedex what I had ready to send via email. Also, some of the staff are cold and distant. In a prior visit they made me pay a 60 usd balance even though I had a payment plan. I paid per their request, called quest to cancel the payment plan but then the payment still went through a month later, resulting in overpayment. When I received a check in the mail quest took out a small amount for a subsequent lab. But provided no receipt or accounting. This company is a mess.

My two experiences here have been great; when I was a child I used to be afraid of 💉in general because it hurts and now as an adult I tolerate them but I didn’t find them super comfortable until now, here they were very useful, kind, it didn't even hurt when they inserted the needle and it was all quite fast so I'm very grateful that you helped me change my mind about this old fear 🙏
I have severe anxiety and have been doing my best to work harder on it, being more independent and putting more faith in people outside my realm of comfort especially now that I’m pregnant and will be seeing healthcare individuals much more now.

The only reason this is not a 1 star is because the nurse who drew my blood was incredibly sweet and helped me so much to calm down and not be anxious especially cause needles make me incredibly queasy. I don’t remember her name but she was a grandmother of 3 and just a very kind woman in general.

My complaint and reason why I cannot recommend anyone to come here who has anxiety and normally requires another person to accompany them, they threw out my fiancé and lied to me once I asked for my fiancé cause my anxiety was starting to get the better of me, they responded with “he went out to the car cause he didn’t want to wait inside”

When what really happened is some blue haired woman who claimed to be the “lead” refused to give him a mask, and rudely kicked him out of the building because “they did not have enough masks” when they absolutely did. So not only did this woman kick him out but kicked out one of the extremely few people who could help calm me down in the case of severe panic attack. I will be reaching out to higher individuals to get this resolved as no one should ever be treated this way, especially considering my severe anxiety.

Never in my wildest dreams did I imagine I would ever write a Google review for a lab visit! However, this experience warrants it. Let me start by saying that Maya Parker at the Lafayette DC facility is my HERO!

I am a very hard stick with small, rolling veins, and a LOT of needle anxiety. So, when it was time to have my labs done, I read all of the reviews for various LabCorp locations in the area, and this one had the best Google reviews. Needless to say, the reviews are accurate! Deidra made the check-in process seamless. She was professional, courteous, and organized. Deidra made sure that my orders (from 2 doctors) were entered correctly. She was the first person I saw upon check-in and again eased my anxiety. Of course, when it was time for my blood to be drawn, I was very nervous. But Maya was absolutely exceptional!!! I DID NOT FEEL A THING! I could not believe it! First try, no pain, it was like the blood draw never happened. I am absolutely shocked, and grateful, for the skill and professionalism of Ms. Maya Parker! Please give her a raise or promotion as soon as possible. I have already referred other friends to her and even told my doctor about my incredible experience. I am so grateful for this phenomenal LabCorp Team and especially Maya!

Dr L G is good, Mrs D is great, however other members of the staff have an attitude. For the past several visits and phone calls the helpers and techs seem to rush you along without any empathy and barely listening. The last place you want to feel disrespected is from a health care provider. I suggest the management pay better attention to how the staff communicates with its patients.

I saw Christopher today. I informed him that I don't do well with getting blood drawn, due to past experiences. He was very reassuring, and he spoke calmly. I felt hardly anything when I got my blood drawn! I didn't have to wait very long to get in either. Quest is the best place to go for this

So far the phone number listed on google and on insurance co website is no longer in service; their hours are not listed; found their hours only to find that they are not open as long as doctor office is; when I called with number Dr. gave me, no one answers the phone!

I called to ensure they had my orders 3 days before my appointment and they said yes. When I arrived the person that assisted me said they didn't have my orders. Apparently, they don't have a phone number and just because Quest 866# can see it doesn't mean they can. In my case, I asked if they could get it from them, but no my doctor has to fax it to them and my doctor wasn't open yet. The staff was frustrated and said it is on my doctor, but if I can call Quest and they can see my orders that's on them. They need to fix their system or perhaps get their own phone number. If going here, ensure you have their local fax number before going and hope for the best. There were two other people with the same issue while I was there so clearly it's a problem.
Today was a one-star, but I have had better experience in the past so I will give two. I arrived at 4:15 and checked in. One person was ahead of me. I waited until 5:00 and hadn’t been called. I knocked on the door and another customer in the Walgreens pharmacy area told me the LabCorp technician had left for the day at 4:30. I never saw the technician leave. No one bothered to come tell waiting patients that they were closing and that we would need to return another day. My name was still on the display board as “checked in”. The schedule was posted behind the check-in kiosk out of view. After driving for 40 minutes and waiting for 45, I still did not get my lab work and have to spend another afternoon rushing out of work to try to make it on time. I am very disappointed and frustrated by the lack of communication with patients.

Super frustrating to plan a visit which includes a child missing school only to learn that they won’t help you unless you are a patient at that facility. In the tech age, this information should be front and center somewhere easy to access rather than in the elevator. Front desk staff was rude about letting us know as well.

They don't know how to receive an electronic fax, printed out only the cover sheet and then said never received the order. Made me call for a new order to be manually faxed and then wait back in the waiting room. Also insisted on taking a credit card instead of billing after finding out what insurance will cover. Also, some of the staff are weirdly cold and distant, as if trying to be warm and friendly but just either don't really want to or are just too "done" with people.

I did a walk in and I have been sitting here for 2 hours.. They are very unprofessional when asking to put a mask on. Another girl who came out to “assist” me was very rude and unprofessional. I mentioned I had checked in, she got argumentative with a lot of attitude and said, I didn’t do it right. They need OJT because they are very unprofessional. It is almost 4pm. And guess what? They came out and said we need to make appointments. These girls were walking back and forth on their downtime and not attending walk ins. Just waiting for appointments, I and others have been waiting for hours starving. This needs to be addressed!

It used be good with a different technician. Now I do not know if she is no longer there or she is on a different shift. This time, it was so painful that I have never experienced before. And got infected as well which never happened in my life either. Will not come over here anymore and as a matter fact, will never go to any lab corp places forever even I had to drive further to other offices.

Recurring terrible wait times and poor queue management. Site does not honor the Labcorp scheduling tool. Two queue systems (automated ticket and handwritten sheet that are both ignored). Hours listed as 7am to 6pm; no staff on-site until 7:30am, then have to wait until administrative staff arrive at 8am to print labels for stat bloodwork. Previously went at 3:30pm to avoid long wait times, and staff were packing up for the day.

One of the worst experiences of my life. They need to close this Lab Corp down. As a another user just expressed the front desk staff are nice and pleasant. The nurses behind door one. Are rude, unprofessional, nasty and clearly miserable. Talking bad about each other. Talking about how they are ready to leave early. Rushing you through like you’re a number. Jamming the needle in your arm. I left feeling traumatized. Don’t go here it’s not worth it.

Wasted my time to complete a required lab for an employment opportunity. Dorine was very rude & seemed “bothered” by me being there. Very confusing process!

Another dismal experience at LabCorp in Washington Hospital Center. I’ve never met workers who hate their jobs more. The front desk staff is lovely, the woman who takes her insurance card and info at the beginning is charming but once you go through that door number ONE it’s a different world. Everybody’s grumpy and rude and barely knowledges you. Today the technician walked into the cube didn’t say hello told me to get up from my chair and bring the paper in my hand and put it on the keyboard in front of her (rather than just taking it from me -WE ARE IN A CUBICLE!!- like I was a School child. Then she barked orders at me over the loud music playing in her ear. Not exactly calming atmosphere to get 14 vials of blood drawn. I wish there were a more convenient place to go- but this is what monopolies breed.

I had to come back to back, due to personal reasons however every encounter was outstanding and very professional. I enjoy the ladies who work at this facility specifically, they made my experience very easy and the the flow of traffic went smoothly. Shoutout to Tyesha, a young lady who was very nice and gentle with me along the way. NO COMPLICATIONS what so ever. Thanks Labcorp! Highly recommend this location!

The staff at this location act busy and stressed when talking to patients as they check in, but then answer personal phone calls and have personal conversations with other staff members for 10-15 minutes that everyone in the waiting area can hear.

Came away with a bruised arm from a blood draw, and was treated like an inconvenience instead of a source of employment.

People at this office seem to REALLY hate their job, and Ive been treated with more kindness at a McDonalds during a lunch rush than I was here.
I normally don't give any reviews, but I decided to give one today! I got my lab work done here today and my experience was great! Stephanie is so professional and did a great job!
I would give ZERO stars if possible. Labcorp is such an irresponsible laboratory. My 6year old son's blood sample was drawn on 29th of March for his vitals check. It's May 2nd today, still we have not received the results. Does it take 35 days for a lab to give a result? I called the customer service several times. Every time a different story was told. I am very very annoyed how irresponsible a laboratory can be! Pls avoid Labcorp, & get your lab work done in a good responsible laboratory!

I’ve been here twice and each time had an excellent experience. The staff were great, super nice, polite, very professional. I did walk ins both times (had my doctor orders with me) with no problems, no waiting. I especially appreciated that the people who draw the blood are considerate, professional, empathetic and quick. Head and shoulders over my previous experiences with Quest.

THIS PLACE IS HORRIBLE!!! I DO NOT RECOMMEND! The place is understaffed and one of the two people working there was incredibly rude to me when I was simply trying to ask why they say they close at 6 pm when the last appointment is at 5:45. Nowhere does it say they close their doors at 5:45, so I was very confused. I was so appalled by her making fun of me and another patient with the same question that I walked out and went to another LabCorp, where I've always had excellent service, the next day. I couldn't get off work in time to go to my preferred LabCorp which is why I had to go to this location. I truly wished I hadn’t. I've had a chronic illness since birth and I get my blood drawn every 2-4 weeks. This is 1000% the WORST lab I've ever been to. I would give zero stars if I could. This place doesn't even deserve one star.

Went today to get lab work done for my pregnancy and I have a legitimate phobia of needles. LaToya was able to calm my fears and actually had me laughing through the tears during my appointment. She offered me great advice and encouraged me on the journey I have ahead. I had previously been avoiding this location because I had seen the low ratings but everyone I encountered today was understanding, helpful and empathetic. Highly recommend!

The lab service here was quick and easy. I didn't even know there was a LabCorp inside of a Walgreens. Stephanie Martinez did an excellent job and the blood draw was pain free.

I am not sure what the other reviews are complaining about. I just had blood work done here; my experience was great. Easy check-in, was called up promptly and taken care of. The ladies at the front desk were kind and did an excellent job. They had to ruble finding my nurses's fax order, but didn't give up until they found it. One of the ladies hadn't eaten lunch yet (it was about 1:40pm) I felt so bad, but she pushed through the rest of the patients before taking off for lunch. The nurse was kind and gentle. The blood draw was fast and painless. It was over before I knew it.
Lady was very rude and complained about how people always came in at the end of the day and gave me a lot of attitude for coming in 30 minutes before they close.

I cannot say enough great things about Jody! I had a fear of bloodwork for the last 30 years the point where I would have to lay down during blood draw. Jody has drawn me twice so far and it has been pain free and anxiety free. I hope she never leaves Monument Labcorp!!

This is a very poorly managed Lab I have ever been to. On 26th September 2019 my doctor referred me to them for a blood and urine work and they did take the samples and after two weeks I followed up and then they are apologizing stating it’s lost. This is utter carelessness as it’s a medical non compliance with the aspect of someone’s health and having a dependency with these kind of corporations and people. The worst part is that there were 2 ladies that day who were hurrying up for their lunch and was just talking about food while drawing blood from me. God bless America !!!
