Was disappointed with the stay. Room was not very clean. Bathroom had water marks and hair on ceiling. Towel and sheets had stains and heater was extremely loud. Overall, did not seem like very much attention was paid to the cleanliness of the room. Wi-Fi didn’t really work well either, constantly in and out.
This quaint boutique hotel is a home away from home for those looking to have a relaxing stay. The location is directly on by the boardwalk. Check in is easy, modern, and efficient. The staff truly cares for each guests experience and will certainly make you feel at home.

Spent 2 nights in a quiet 2 queen bedroom. Room was clean and staff was friendly. Short drive to downtown. Washer and dryer on-site which I much needed. Would stay here again.
Great place to stay! Clean, quiet and so comfortable.

We got off our boat early. I phoned the Inn and left a message that we might be there by 10am, check in was at 3. AJ texted me back and said they would at least hold our luggage, but might be able to provide a room early. When we got to the property we were greeted by the manager on site, she made one call and escorted us to a lovely, clean room with a full kitchen, including a stove and fridge. I jokingly asked “where’s the bbq?” She spun me around and pointed that out too! All the comforts of home! The bed was also comfy! We are contemplating coming back soon! We hope they can give us a monthly rate! Great location and a reminder of the pride of ownership that is so rare in our corporate world! Just say no to Bezos and Hilton! Here you are treated like family!

Well I was just looking for a good value because I was only staying here a couple days and I did not need anything fancy. Some people say the room depends on which one you get as far as how good it was, but the room I got was totally fine. #110.
It is a good room for the price and the value was good and a very large king size bed and the bathroom totally looked like it had been remodeled. If you are looking for fancy this is not the place but if you are looking for a good value for a clean nice size hotel room then this is a great choice. The kafy who checked me in was also very friendly which always makes it much nicer. I am including pictures as always with my review including the room number 110 which I stayed in.
We spent two days at the cabins. The cabins are located about a mile outside of Driggs. The cabins had everything you need to make small meals. There was a two burner stove, a coffee pot, and a two burner stove. The cabin had cable TV. The accommodations were very nice. I will definitely stay there again the next time I visit Driggs.

Overall good experience. Beautiful location. However, not staffed in the afternoon or evening so you are kind of stuck with what you have. In our case, 3 towels total without any washcloths
Metal bed frame made for a sore back. Remote was missing cover for batteries and heater filter needed cleaned. Best rate in downtown area by you get what you pay for. Otherwise, clean space. Two sinks with American Standard working faucets and smoking rooms available. Free parking. Check your entire room before you agree to it. There is no refund policy. However, check in 3pm downtown is convenient. Camera monitored property. Older hotel comes with minor imperfections. However, great fit for travelers on a budget looking to stay lowkey.

My husband and I brought our daughter and her husband to Virginia beach to go to the Captain George restaurant on September 30th for their anniversary. We usually stay at a different hotel, however the weekend was the King Neptune festival so most of the affordable hotel were taken. We wanted to surprise our daughter and son in law with a bottle of champagne and flowers in their room. I asked for a single bedroom, but they were all taken, but the day clerk was able to get one for us for them. They also while we were at the restaurant put the champagne in their room decorated so nice, and put the rose petals on the bed and the rest in a vase. They made our daughters room so pretty they loved it. I forgot the names of the day and night clerk's but both women were wonderful. The hotel itself was clean old looking but clean and that's what matters to me. The staff gets my 5 stars. I will stay there again. I wish I could include the names of the ladies sorry. *****

Wet towels removed from the dryer too soon and left there hoping they'd dry in time? We were not able to shower as wanted. A previous guest's clothing and underwear in the drawers. Otherwise, the room was very nice as well as clean. It seems like they are just learning the business and don't have everything together yet, but I expect they'll figure it out.

We really enjoyed our two-night stay here. It was convenient for accessing the Tetons and Jackson - and a whole lot less expensive than anything in Jackson! The cabin was cozy and clean and the staff was very friendly. We would definitely return if visiting the area again.

Very clean, quiet and very comfy. About 1 hour drive from Grand Teton National Park.
Please do not fall for the nice photos and high reviews like we did. When we first entered our kitchenette room it smelled heavily of old smoke and incense. We asked for a different room and were given a room with no kitchen but the smell was better. We asked if due to being downgraded to a non kitchenette room if we would be reimbursed money. They explained this room was an “upgrade” because of the view ( see photo attached of the “view”). The air conditioning made unbearable noise all night( see video). There was also hair in the shower on a suction cupped shelf, bugs in the lights, room to door had a sticker covering up a window?, towel bars coming out of the wall, and electrical outlets did not work on nightstand. This motel has been “updated” but when we booked there were no photos of what you actually get. Sheets and towels were clean. We would not stay here again.

Was good ,,,owner was nice , clean
Beware, this is a minimal motel, paper thin walls and unhelpful reception. They advertise 24 hour staffing at the reception but already shortly after 9 pm there was no one there to let us in.
Several expensive phone calls later we got a room number (but it was hard to find the room in the dark).
There were no plugs for the bathtub or sink, and the office suggested (seriously??) that we stuff a towel in the drain.
When I asked if they had a beer opener, they said, "We never heard of having a beer bottle opener in the room".
We loved our stay here! We went on a road trip to see the Tetons and Yellowstone. We also wanted to experience Idaho. Since this was only little over an hour away and we love road tripping, we chose these cabins. The price was really awesome compared to a lot of other places close to the parks. Literally BY FAR way more affordable. The service/check-in was easy, the room was perfect and clean and the property was beautiful. Our room did not have A/C but it was cool at night and the cabins are shaded so it was a perfect temperature for us. The little towns close by were great too, we had a lot to choose from as far as restaurants go. Gas coming into Idaho was a lot cheaper than in WY. Also, the cabins are dog friendly, which is a must for us. We will for sure be back next year. Thank you! :)
We wanted a clean comfortable room on the first floor with easy access to our car and we got that at the Dreamcatcher. The woman at reception was very helpful. The location was great, especially if you want to visit Red Rock State Park. The kitchenette was perfect for breakfast with a nice size refrigerator. Good hot water in the shower. Would definitely stay again. Very good value.
We stayed here while visiting the Tetons. Fantastic cabin with a fridge, coffee maker, and small stove, and a short walk/drive from town.

Perfect for visiting the Tetons in the summer, this was about an hour drive from the park over a mountain pass, which was a beautiful trip in and of itself. I do not know how passable that route is in the winter, though.
The price is right - don't expect to be impressed with the rooms but they are a perfectly decent value with everything you need and nothing you don't. Clean, comfy bed. Staff is very kind and helpful. Close to food, shops & the beach.

Be aware there is no sound insulation if that's something you care about.
It was my first time been there from 09/04/2023 through 09/07/2023 but I don’t like it at all the beds were dirty and there were brown stains all around the sheets and the pillow were like someone jerk up on it I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone
Me. Shirley and Elizebeth make this place worth going to, they’re very accommodating and kind people. The male attendants could learn a thing or two from them. The rooms themselves are nothing to sneeze at, but if you’re familiar with the chain, this one is a bit ahead. The metro isn’t too far, and there are restaurants and a 7-11 nearby that makes this spot pretty convenient.
The rooms were quite spacious and the bathrooms were clean too. Good place to stay and only a few miles away from scenic areas! All rooms have refrigerator, stove and sink. Also has a play area for kids.
Disgusting. The sheets were dirty, there was mens hair all over the counter by the sink, I didn’t dare take my shoes off because the floor was dirty and the bathroom reeked of urine. Neighbor guests smoking weed inside and outside of their rooms and spray painting their hub caps in the parking lot was an unpleasant view. The entire place was creepy. As a female and traveling alone, I checked out immediately. I felt VERY unsafe there and was not about to risk my life to save a penny. Stay away!!!
Credit card reader didn't work. Had to walk 3 blocks for cash at ATM. No courtesy toiletries except soap. No vending machines. Bed spread stained. Aching back. Air conditioner LOUD
It’s only because of Ms.Shirley at the front desk that they even get a rating like this…. She is the sweetest nicest person at this hotel… The sheets and comforters have burn holes in them side of the building smells like pee… The location is ok only because of all the restaurants near by… Thank you Ms.Shirley I would not have stayed as long as I did had it not been for you… Oh yea they have roaches

We have stayed at the Sundial Inn many times and loved it. It's definitely an older hotel but it's always super clean and the location is perfect. Sadly though, we won't be going back. When I arrived to check in this summer they asked for the debit card I used to pay the deposit. I explained that the card used for the deposit had been lost so I didn't have it. They stated they would have to refund my deposit and charge the full amount to a different card. Again, I explained that the original card is not active so I had concerns about the refund. They assured me that since it was a debit card and not a credit card, there would be no issue with the refund but it could take 5 to 10 days to see the refund. Two weeks later I reached out to them because I still had not gotten a refund. They stated the refund had been issued and I needed to call my bank. I went to the bank the same day and they showed me where the hotel attempted to refund my deposit to the inactive card and the funds were sent back to them because the card had been reported lost. I relayed this info to the hotel and they said there was nothing they could do. I discussed this matter with three different associates and nobody was able to help me. I also communicated via email and they stopped responding to my messages. I still haven't gotten the refund. This is very unfortunate, we really enjoyed staying there for the last several summers.

The room was unreal hot and we stayed on a cool weekend 70-75 all weekend and our room was hotter then the outside. One old small AC unit is not enough to cool a room. The maid staff didn’t ever come to turn our room over or offer anything like more Tp or towels which we ran out of both. They snapped at us assuming we were not guests when they saw us sitting at the communal deck … I’ll go on! We went to the desk to get an extra sheet for my daughters pack and play and I waited 35 min with two toddlers while the front desk kept putting their finger up telling me one more min… I finally said I just need a sheet for room six. Please. And it never came. He didn’t care. The trash in the room smelled and we didn’t know where to put it so our hot smelly room with limited blankets was awful.

This was a older motel but modernized
It was clean and inviting full sized kitchen appliances very comfortable King size bed
This hotel is one of the sister hotels of Southwest in Arroyo pinion and Greentree. On site management are really nice and we'll bend over backwards to cater to most of guests needs. However it is part of the general management of the sister hotels mentioned above. I would definitely recommend shopping around and staying at a different hotel and or resort around Sedona because again you will get more amenities and services for the same amount of money that you will be charged at this hotel. As I said with one of its sister hotels and a previous review the regional / general manager of all of the sister hotels has a great ability to put on the front with the smiling face for guests when checking in however on the back side of things is yet another prime example as to why we have the issues in the world that we do.
Let's face it, we were looking for a reasonably priced place to crash for two nights while in Columbus. As Inns go, it's not bad. Hot shower, clean room, acceptable bed and decent proximity to our final destination. Neighborhood is a little noisy at night so if you're a very light sleeper this might not be the place for you.

We stayed here for 4 days to work remotely, and the location could not be better! It’s less than a minute walk to the beach + boardwalk in a quiet area. There are outdoor tables and chairs to take a call or to eat in the shade. The rooms are fine, but clean, and included beach essentials like towels and chairs. The best food was about 15-20 minutes away walking, but that was not a problem. The check in and check out process was seamless and the owner was very informative and helpful. The star was Maria, who helped take care of us while we waited for our delayed flight. The hospitality was unbeatable and sincerely appreciated! Truly, she was the best.
I have stayed there 2 times the first time was fine. I know the area and understand you get what you pay for. It was a last minute decision. The 2nd time, since the first time was ok we decided we would stay again a few weeks later. I saw a bug crawling up the wall when I went to kill it, I missed of course, and it fell behind the mini fridge, when I scooted the mini fridge multiple roaches crawled out. It was a second story room at the northeast corner of the building. But I assume they are everywhere.

Very nice on the phone.
I made a reservation but then had to cancel. I will definitely try to stay there again sometime.
Decent motel for the price.. Was my first time at a 100% automated hotel.. No staff or front desk.. Everything is done digitally. Room was mostly clean and bed was comfortable..
Floors were still so dirty our feet and socks turned black. It's a little janky but it's not bad for the price. Atleast I didn't see any roaches or bed bugs. Service wasn't that great not rude but not happy or pleasant. Also tried to get me by giving me double the price advertised also there's a $40.00 deposit that takes up to 2 weeks to get back small f. We ordered 2 rooms, 102, and 103. 1 room was fantastic, the beds were soft every was working it smelt amazing, this is room 103, room 102 on the other hand sucked, the bathroom door wouldn’t close, the beds were stiff as a rock, and that it had a very strong sense of bleach. It was also very loud with all the cars outside, the only good thing was the air conditioning.

It will depend on which room you get, try to get a 3rd floor as it’s the least noisy, service was nice though, do not recommend parking big cars in the parking lot It will get very crowded sometimes.
The staff are courteous, polite, and helpful. The rooms were adequate and clean. You can see the ocean from one side of the hotel. The pool is maintained and clean as well.We arrived early and they were able to get us in earlier than the usual check in time. There is also a nice seafood restaurant we ate at located around the coroner, within walking distance from the hotel. It was called 21st Street Seafood and Raw Bar (something like that). It was awesome. I would definitely stay at Sundial Inn again!
Dried up blood and stains on the pillow cases and the sheets and the floors was dirty. Would not recommend unless you are in a budget

Very clean and comfy. Close to beach, customer service great. We will stay again
Stayed here for a convention that was in town. Very good location, free parking. Very safe area.
The staff was super friendly. The room had brand new carpet, the bed was very clean and comfortable.
Small fridge worked great.
Shower was very powerful and the towels were adequate.
The air conditioner worked fine in the July heat.
Coffee maker worked fine.
The only thing To complain about was that the desk chair should have been replaced & I also noticed a moldy ceiling tile in the bathroom.

I will defiantly stay here again, very good value.
I really enjoyed my (short) stay! We had a double queen bed with the kitchenette. The rooms are clean and small-to-average, but with the fridge/ freezer, stove-top, sink, and dishwasher, it would be a great location for an extended stay! The location was great because it was a few minutes off the main part of Sedona, so their wasn't as much traffic! The hotel is right next to Namti Spa (which I highly recommend for a message.) And the famous "teal arch" McDonald's and Cafe Jose (which is AMAZING) is a quick 3 minutes down the road! Check-in was a bit of a hassle, but I will definitely stay here again in the future.

Family and I had a very nice stay at this hotel. It has an older ocean motel look, but still clean and staff was very helpful/courteous. Ocean is only a block away and it is right next to some good restaurants, bars, and all the fun stuff on Atlantic. We didn't have to get in our car but two times. We got a room with a kitchen which was super helpful and cost saving with three kids/meals. Pool was not huge but nice as well. Definitely recommend for a family vacation at the beach.

If I could leave 0 stars I would! The literal second we got there the woman who works there (who I later found out is the cleaning staff) started yelling at my daughter saying she can't cross through the property. How can we not cross through when we are paying to stay there ? The rest of the trip was no different every second of every day she was around staring and im talking stop in her tracks and stare at us or just pick little things to complain about it was the most bizarre thing ever. I would Never ever recommend this place to anyone not to mention the rooms smell musty and the furniture is probably 50 years old I'm just very disappointed for the 900 dollars for 4 nights to be harassed by the cleaning woman Christine I beleive her name is was not acceptable I have been going to old orchard my whole life and have never ever had a problem I don't understand why this woman would go out of her way to literally just stare give dirty looks and follow people around. I would put money on it that they get complaints often about this woman and will not have repeat customers as long as she is there.

So there was no one maning the office, place was deserted. I called immediately thinking I paid for a room for nothing. They answered and mentioned a text was sent with room # and door code. Easy enough. Room was clean, smelled fresh, beds on the slight soft side good for side sleeper me. Wifi was fast. Room coffee was worthless. Parking was free and secure.
I stayed at this motel for the weekend while I attended an event at the convention center a bit more uptown. It's located in a quiet part of the city, about a 45-minute walk from the center. The motel is located to a few decent pubs and some nice green areas.

You get a card key to open the rooms, but the magnetic key mechanism wears off quickly. At least once a day I had to ask for help refreshing the magnetism. The staff were happy to do that, but it still was a bit odd.

It's not the highest-quality place, and for someone who didn't drive to Columbus, getting around was still non-trivial, but a stay here is a good price.
We just needed a place to rest our heads at the end of the night while visiting Sedona and this was a good fit. This was one of the most affordable options in the area. Bailey was super welcoming at the front desk when we checked in. She upgraded our room to a balcony room with a beautiful view and provided us a welcome goody bag, bottle of wine and candy. The room was clean and spacious, exactly what we needed. The location was great too. The only thing that could have been improved is the bed- it was uncomfortable.

We truly enjoyed our stay! Unbeatable prices, plenty of parking, and location…location…location!! Service was great. We had issues with our card (due to our bank) but they held our room until we arrived anyways. We loved it here and it’s a quick walk to the boardwalk, beach, and shops. Rooms were pretty clean and sheets were very fresh!! Had a little kitchen area with fridge, microwave, countertop, and sink. Water pressure was phenomenal, which is hard to find these days. Pool is nice and private. They have an outdoor shower so you can wash off after swimming or going to the beach. Super fun area!! We will def stay again❤️🏝☀️👙🏖🌊

Very happy with this hotel! A minute's walk to the beach, 15 minutes from the airport. Room was nice, everything we needed and owners encouraged us to check in early when we arrived, even though we didn't ask to. Great service, great place. 10/10 would go back.
The non-smoking room was muggy, hot and the ac blew hot air.
Phone did not work. Bathroom towels had dirty handprints on them, no shampoo. The bedspread had several cigarette holes and the sheets were stained. Room attendant never showed. Strange people walk around property and lurk in the staircases. One man with red eyes approached me offering me drugs..yikes, I was just walking my dog. Police called to property several times, security guard hides in the reception room and looked uncomfortable being there. A guest with 3 intimidating pitbulls left them in his room unattended and they barked vigorously from 9pm to 1:30am. Front desk guy with no teeth refused to contact the dogs owner and didn't care about the noise disturbance and that guests wanted to sleep. This creepy motel was a horrible choice, How do they charge $90 per night? Checked out early!
Stay away! Even if you are pinched for a penny, stay far away. Non smoking room? No such thing. Room smelled like weed. Tub is stained and gross. Towels are all stained and gross. Didnt bother showering and just went to sleep and left. Fortunately the bedding was somewhat clean. Front desk guy at 11pm was nice and quick to check me in. But other than that, stay far far away from this 1 star dump

Great little place. The front desk gal could use a bit of an attitude adjustment. Obviously didn't want to be there. But we will stay there again. The bed was great. Better than any other places we've stayed . Clean, comfortable and decent price. Can't beat that. Definitely be back.
Stay away

Worst place to stay. Lady at check-in was rude. I told her that 3rd floor was too bad for me. She could care less

Room smelled like cigarettes and fungus.

Toilet did not fill up.

Shower barely put out water.

Heater blowing cold air

Owners from India have ruined the Hotel industry. Motel 6 has gone down the hole.
We recently spent a week at Tiana Beach Inn and we have nothing but praise for this amazing hotel! The room was extremely clean and all of our needs were met whenever we asked for anything. The owner was very accommodating and made sure that our stay was as comfortable as possible. The location of the hotel is absolutely amazing - we parked our car and never had to use it again, as everything we needed was within walking distance. The check-in and check-out process was easy and hassle-free. The hotel staff were all incredibly friendly and welcoming, which made our stay even more enjoyable. The hotel was also very quiet, which was perfect for a relaxing vacation. Overall, we would highly recommend Tiana Beach Inn to anyone looking for a fantastic vacation spot. Thank you to the staff for making our stay so memorable!

This is such a fun a cute little motel! It was very cleanly and spacious, to the point that we enjoyed playing cards on the floor! The room smelled amazing. There is no masked lingering smoke smell or dog smell like most hotel rooms have. If people smoke in their rooms, they seem to make an effort to deep clean so the rooms still smell nice for everyone after. (Just judging by how nice the place smelt during the whole visit) It is super conveniently located between Grand Targhee ski resort and Jackson Hole! Which made it nice and easy to go to see both places. Its located in a very nice small town and has a very Wyadaho feel to it. It is just an adorable place. Thank you!
It is a great place to stay, large rooms with a feel of just the right amount of privacy. They have a cute little pet area with a fire pit and free wood to burn. Very affordable, and if you stay, make sure you eat at the bar at the end of the street they had AMAZING burgers.

I had an issue with refund from this hotel, but it was resolved a month later.
We stayed there 2 nights. The location is great, close to the beach and boardwalk. The room is small, but it has everything we needed. Quiet air-conditioner, comfortable mattress. Easy check-in and check-out.
DO NOT USE THIS MOTEL! We traveled to this motel and stayed for multiple nights for a wedding. The room was very clean and nice. However, after we got home, we noticed an additional $600 charge on our statement. I called multiple times with no return call, then got an email stating that it was due to a large cleaning fee for smoking in the room. We ABSOLUTELY did NOT smoke in the room at all. We even made sure to smoke at the parking lot or at the picnic table on the side of the building. (which they have cameras everywhere so they can check) There was no reason to smoke in the room. We even cleaned up the entire room before leaving, separating trash and recycling and making the beds. We even left a tip even though there was no room cleaning throughout the stay due to COVID protocols. I left multiple more calls and emails with no response. If you check the reviews this isn't the first time they did this.

July 2022 - We really enjoyed our 2 night's stay. Great, dog-friendly stay. The rooms were spotless and a good size, especially since we were on the second floor the high ceilings made it feel even bigger. It was also great to walk into the room after a hot day of hiking and they had the room nicely cooled off. It looks like they recently renovated. Nice, large fridge and microwave. Everything felt very clean and in great condition. We also enjoyed the little town of Victor, although it was much further from the NPs than we expected (my fault).

The wifi also worked great. It was a struggle to get the TV working - I don't care but my husband did. Very peaceful with great sunset views.

Okay for a night or two. It is really a fly by night kind of place. The beds seem to be 30+ years old. I would recommended bringing a full size bed pillow top mattress to put on top of their beds. The bathtub is stained yellow so maybe bring a shower mat. The office also doesn’t help too much. They close early and they are not there to help you. When checking in ask for some extra rolls of toilet papers and more towels because you will not find them later. One good thing about the place though is it is on the beach. I would advise the place to do a re-model since it is early 80s decorated.

Wonderful place to stay. There staff is extremely nice. It's located right on the beach. They're also the only place that has a grass patio with tables and charcoal grills. All rooms have kitchenettes which will save money on eating out. Highly recommend them you won't be sorry you'll an awesome time.

When we arrived we were greeted by the lovely Brooke. She was caring and professional. We had car trouble getting there and she recommended a tire shop. Overall the room was a nice size with a full kitchen, living room, big bedroom, bathroom and cable tv. It was more like a spacious one bedroom apartment. The pool was closed due to covid 19. The only complaint I have is that the bed was uncomfortable, no toothbrush or toothpaste luckily we had our own and there is no housekeeping on the weekend. The facility was nice and quiet with friendly neighbors (they rent apartment also). I would've given 5 stars if I had a goodnight sleep.

Bare tacks hotel. No microwave or way to heat water or reheat food. Feels like a prison cell. When I went to the office to see if there was somewhere I could heat water for my coffee I had to wait over 20 minutes just for someone to come to the desk. When they did they were very rude. Only redeeming feature is the guests were extremely nice and amazing!

Enjoying our stay. Couldn't ask for a better location on the ocean and it's a short walk to the pier and a lot of attractions. Room is a little outdated but we dont mind. We had 2 windows overlooking the ocean. Amazing! Patio area was great and had grills. The room had a kitchenette too. Our room was clean and comfortable. Cant beat the price! Very happy. Would come back to the Skylark in a heart beat and would highly recommend it to anyone.

He plays with prices. He asks for tips when he cleans your rooms. He charges extra to keep in his pocket. Supposed to be 250 a week he charges 275 plus he wants tips. Ita supposed to be 40 a night he charges 55 or 65 instead. Although there are some people who have been here a while and he lets certain ones pay 250 a week. He is a greedy pig.

Great price for what you get. Rooms are clean, cold/warm and stocked with most the stuff you need in a hotel room with a full kitchen.

Room was quite large for one person, with free WiFi and a stoked kitchen. There is a pool connected to the office, but never got to use it. My only problem was that the balcony and floors squeak a lot and that if the shower nobs are turned to a certain position they squeal. Otherwise the staff was great and check in was easy, with a good price.
Lovely place for a weekend stay! The best part is the kitchenette. They provide you with everything you need (glasses, pots, pans, knives, spatulas etc) The room was nice and cozy. Super clean and comfy. They have properly marked parking spots which is amazing because parking on the beach can sometimes cost a lot. Its right on the beach.. no even 100 meters which is awesome! Loved a stay at this place and would definitely stay here on my next visit! Oh and yes, our room had a faulty refrigerator :( So i called Roger (i believe) who was quick to respond!

First of all I couldn't afford much so I went here and as soon as I got in the room my friend saw a roach. Not a bad size room but it was gross. I demanded my money back after getting my stuff out immediately and so the front desk clerk called his boss and put me on the phone with him stating the guy was new and couldn't refund me my money until the next day. So I got in a nice argument until he just handed me the cash. I will never go back to this roach motel again. They have incompetent people working here.

Stayed here August 2015. Nice, clean rooms with kitchen. Brooke and her family were great. She made sure we had everything we needed.

I am staying in the "Older" building where you are allowed to have dogs, from what I understand, the newer building is a bit nicer. The staff is friendly and extremely accommodating, they will work around your needs.

The main reason I would suggest Woodside Inn is for Military personnel attending schools at Dahlgren who can't get a room on base. The rooms here have kitchens with an oven, refrigerator/freezer and included dishes, pots and pans, etc. Also, they tie your rent to your Per Diem so you aren't paying out of pocket to get a kitchen, which the other hotels in the area don't offer for the same price. It is also a little bit of a drive, but having a kitchen is definitely worth the it.

The room is old, but functional, if a little less than perfectly clean like you could expect at a Holiday Inn. The Sheets / towels / dishes are worn but functional. Each room has it's own water heater so the shower is hot and has plenty of pressure, it is a bit tricky to get the right temperature though.

The pool is only open between 0700-1700 M-F and closed on the weekends. It is pretty much useless to people who work normal hours, it is nice to relax after class if you get out on time.

The internet drops out periodically and you have to call the front desk to have them reset the modem (once a week).

I have listed a lot of complaints here, but I would still recommend Woodside Inn if you are planning an extended stay and don't want to have to eat out every meal.
