This is a real hidden gem. You would be crazy to go elsewhere. For the money we paid we got so much in return. The view was incredible, thanks especially to the balcony complete with two chairs and a table for our drinks and snacks. The hotel pool is 10' from the beach. There's an indoor pool and hot tub on the top floor. There's a laundry room and vending machines. Just be mindful if you're a smoker. They have places you can smoke, but the rooms and pool area are off limits.

The nicest surprise was the fully equipped kitchenette. Cookware, cups and dishes, silverware and utensils, they did everything but stock the fridge! There was even a coffee pot and a toaster. We only went out to dinner once (it's vacation, gotta splurge a little!) and probably saved $200+! Imagine starting your morning with an omelet and watching the sunrise. It was just magical.

The staff is a great bunch of people. All very kind and respectful. We had everything we needed, even dish soap for washing our dishes. They came around every morning and offered cleaning and switching towels. After a few days, if they weren't let in they asked you to sign their worksheet. It's a small price to pay for privacy in a prime location.

I understand that this is a long review, but there's just so much about this place worth writing about. I also want anyone considering this stay to know what to look forward to. For four nights, I spent about as much as I've spent on a single night's stay elsewhere. You can vacation on the cheap and still have an incredible vacation. We went home with half of our budget left.
If there was an option for 0 stars, that's what I would give this place and I just got here. I checked in and was given an upstairs room. Keep in mind, I'm a Disabled Vet with a bad knee. I push through and go to my room and find that the handle is broken and won't let me in. I go back down the stairs and ask for a different room, this time I asked if they had a room downstairs. Noel (The receptionist) said "so you want smoking" I respond with no I don't, he then responds with "so upstairs it is" since there is no elevator, I ask him "what do you do with people with disabilities that can't do the stairs?" He responds with "we return their money and tell them to have a nice day" I say that's ridiculous and he said no it isn't, do you want a refund or the room? I took the room because my options aren't the best but this guy was ready to throw down with me because I disagree with him. This place is a complete mess and Noel needs some training on customer service at least.
Horrible, my room was dirty. Sheets were dirty and there was leftover McDonald’s in the fridge. They tried to give me a different room after and these are pictures from that 2nd room. A plunger by the bed and a broken in door frame with a broken lock. They “canceled” my stay and i went elsewhere. Still haven’t received my refund with Priceline cause this hotel can’t even verify it was canceled. This was a month ago.
What a wonderful little dog friendly beach retreat this is. Can’t say enough good things. It was perfect for me and my little French bulldog Ariel. I love it when a place isn’t just dog friendly, but so welcoming of dogs- this makes all the difference! Staff was great. Loved the pool and the outdoor fire pits they created a really chill vibe. The room was cute/spacious and the bed was oh so comfortable! I slept amazing here. We could walk to literally everything from here - the beach, the little town, and our personal fave was Montauk brewing company -another amazing dog friendly place! Will be back for sure!

This was not a planned trip, just felt like getting away for some much needed R&R. Our room was Oceanfront, so that was a plus. Our Suite had a fully stocked kitchen that was well put to use, two Queen beds, and a table and chairs. A nice balcony with seating for four to watch the sunset.
Then, on our 6th night there, Storm Idalia thought it was a good idea to show up!! I have NEVER been this close to a TROPICAL STORM!! The ceiling in our room started leaking over one of our beds. I must say, maintenance was just a phone call away. They were on top of things in no time!!
If you're looking for a place to stay at a very affordable price, I would stay here again! Just make sure you check the weather!!!
Nicely updated rooms and perfect walking distance to town and the beach. The courtyard offers fire pits in the evening, which was perfect when we put the kids to bed. We were able to sit and relax.
Let me just say… I WILL NOT RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL TO ANYONE. I traveled from Virginia with our kids, boyfriend and mom. The elevator smelled horrible, ran down and not safe. Our money will not be refunded back on our card for 3-4 business days. I would rather sleep in my car with my family then stay here. I went back inside the Polynesian to tell her what happened, and what I saw. As I was leaving a woman and her daughter asked what was wrong and I told her a big cockroach in the room, she was coming down because her daughter and her were eat up with bedbugs. I am disgusted, I don’t know why this hotel is still up and running. I am sick to my stomach. NEVER STAY HERE.

We’ve raced Pikes Peak many times, and I’ve always stayed at this motel. They’ve always been super accommodating, Very attentive and most of all super friendly. There was one time I needed a place to stay but they were not open yet for the season and they accommodated with me for the evening. I can’t say enough Great things about this motel the great owners and staff that run it, Thank you for so many great experiences.

We stayed over on our trip back from Canada. I wasn't expecting too much simply because of the price of the room. It was very reasonable, plus they offer military discounts. The room was clean, the beds were comfortable, and the location was perfect. The motel is surrounded by numerous restaurants to walk to.

Checking in and out has never been easier. They have the option to do it remotely. They text you your room number and key code just before you arrive, and then you just text "check-out" when you leave.

If I had to complain about anything, it would have to be the shower. There was not much water pressure at all. It might have just been the room we were in, I'm not sure, but that would not stop me from staying here again. We really did enjoy our stay.

The Mecca has the best hosts in town! The motel is clean and quiet. The rooms are nicer than most of the historic motels in this area. We have many great memories from The Mecca!
The rooms were clean. The balcony is tiny and you could hardly open the sliding door that led to it. Not enough room for a couple chairs. And to top it off our view of the creek was skewed by a big construction site on the other side. Parking was minimal and we struggled to find a spot.
Little noisy but it’s to be expected in the area where motel is located. Still had a great night of sleep. Clean and nice room (room 102) with nice amenities! Modern and moderately kept up. My shower was walk-in and i assumed sloped towards the drain but not so much. Half the bathroom got water all over the floor and I used all the towels to soak it up. That was the only inconvenience. Everything else was a delight and I was quite comfortable! Great location and walking distance to several places to eat and University of Idaho campus. Would stay here again!

The Mecca is the only place to stay! I've stayed here once a year for over 4 years now. The owners, Liz & Gary are the best hosts, the rooms are always impeccable, the morning coffee is better then Starbucks! Location is premium with stores, restaurants, and old town Manitou Springs all within walking distance. Morning coffee by the pool, with the extraordinary view of the majestic Pikes Peak is the only way to start the day!
I will be back!

We loved this motel!! It's walking distance to restaurants and grocery stores. Plus a liquor store across the street. Very friendly staff with excellent recommendations for day trips. Our room and bathroom were very clean with comfortable beds. We could see beautiful Pikes Peak from our room and porch seats. Definitely recommend this motel.
This hotel was great for the price we paid. We were on the fourth floor and had a side view of the ocean which was awesome. They came everyday and change we towels. We use the utensils, plates, refrigerator, microwave and stove in the room. I just loved the fact it was on the beach and it was cheap our vacation turned out great for us and the kids because we were able to use the funds to go out more. Thank you for a wonderful time♥️

NO HOT WATER! Booked for a wedding in Lisbon. They didn't pay for propane so there wasn't any water. Caught staff in my room. She claimed to be leaving towels but our towels were fully stocked and hadn't been used. Breakfast room was dirty, not much food. 10/10 do not recommend.
This hotel is filthy and dangerous. It is falling apart, a building hazard. The room stunk, was dirty and torn up. Bullet hole in the door, with tissue stuffed inside the hole. Nasty stains everywhere. Do not stay here! We had to leave. The worst place I have ever seen. The front desk person was nice.

We booked this motel on our way to Alabama. We got there at 2am after driving 10 hours. By 5am I woke up because I all of a sudden felt very itchy. Looked at my arm there were 3 bumps so I search the bed and found bed bugs. We were out of there so fast! On our way to the front desk I discovered 10 more bites all over my body. We let the girl at the front desk know about the bed bugs and checked out.We booked through Expedia so had to go through them in order to try to get a refund. Well when Expedia contacted the motel 6 manager they said nothing was wrong with the room and we are not entitled to a refund. We will be pursuing this matter. PLEASE DO NOT STAY HERE. THIS PLACE IS DISGUSTINGLY FILTHY, THE MANAGER HAS NO REGARD FOR YOUR HEALTH OR SAFETY. MY BITES ARE STILL HEALING AFTER 1.5 WEEKS AND I HAVE SCARS NOW.

Just discovered this nice motel while visiting the university. It's right downtown in a perfect location, with lots of parking, all the rooms are updated (brand new everything), and I slept so well on the comfortable bed. A tad noisy from the road outside but this is just so nice. The owners have done a superb job with decorations, mid century style, and the employees are great. Thank you!

We were hesitant at first about booking this place, because like you I was reading the reviews and there are some not so good ones. But I also know that you can’t always believe what you are reading so we gave it shot. Checking in you do have to go next door. Check in was a bit frustrating, the room wasn’t ready even at 430. After 5 we got a key it was not to the correct motel, had to wait on a different key. We had oceanfront room with 2 beds and a kitchen. There was dishes and a couple of pots in the room. The room wasn’t horrible, it’s not fancy but it’s doable! Oceanfront view was great, room service stopped by everyday to see what we needed.

I will say that we DID NOT see any roaches or bed bugs.

The room is a little outdated and they do need some newer furniture but overall it wasn’t bad.

We would stay again!
The staff was wonderful. Check in was fast and easy and everyone was so accommodating. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Within walking distance of restaurants, shops, etc. Pools, Hot Tub and Sauna was great. The food at the Cafe was very good. Definitely recommend and definitely worth the money.
Stayed for 4 days, 24 hour amazing and nice services, the outside and inside pool were clean and felt amazing. The hot tub was a little crowed but because of how great it felt 😭✋. My partner and I didn’t mind this but i know some will but they don’t have everyday room service you leave your dirty stuff outside, and get new ones from the cleaning ladies as they clean. But if you run out of towels late at night you can get some from the office. No microwave in the room we had but there’s one in the lobby. There was a new lady there she was so nice the service was the best. And free wifi
NASTY HOTEL!!! The place is rundown AND NASTY!!!. The place has bedbugs, the elevator is nasty and need to be replaced scared to ride in it for the fear it may get stuck. The furniture is about to collapse, the rugs are disgusting and smells. The lamps in the room was rusted and didnt work. The bathroom was nasty. The ice machine is kept together with duct tape and is dirty and nasty. The hallways are nasty. After complaining they sent housekeeping to trying and clean the room. They only thing they can do is condem the place. I would not recommend the mess to anyone. I wouldn't recommend them to turn this to an animal hotel, I wouldn't do my pet that way

Well the price was right, and the linens were clean. But the room reeked of cigarettes and I think both of our neighbors were living there long term (no shame in that, but it is off-putting to drive up at night to someone sitting on a folding chair, shirtless, smoking next to your door). Maybe if we got in earlier and had been put in a room closer to the lobby it wouldn't have been so sketchy.

The bed was also the least comfortable bed I have ever slept on. It was like a lumpy and bouncy large cot. I felt like my husband and I were going to break it when we sat down because it bowed so much (and we're both small/slim people).
Don’t do it. Don’t stay here or anywhere in Montauk. The price is not worth it. You can go visit the world for the price you are about to pay if your looking to come here in the summer. Looking for something comparable go google vacations with comparable pricing. My grand total is $1,444.60 for two nights ! This is asinine, I’m losing sleep over it. Want nature go to Niagara Falls the drive is the same considering Hampton’s Traffic. Robert H Truman state park has beautiful sights. Buttermilk Falls… Novia Scotia … Puerto Rico, Caribbean Islands these places are appropriately priced and well worth every penny with hotel accommodations. Here at this place you are paying for nothing this is a MOTEL. I love you Montauk however you’ve gone too far, and we need to realize there’s other amazing places that I can sit enjoy and relax for more than TWO NIGHTS. ….. go on “X” out of the page and move on to bigger and better vacations.
Fantastic place to stay. People have said the rooms are dated, but Im not there to spend time looking at the room. But the room was super clean. Great view of the creek outside sliding door was amazing. Parking is a little eh, but not terrible. Front desk staff was super friendly and helpful. The pools and hot tub were amazing as well. They have towels for the pool area. Close but not to close to the main drag. Walking possible but there are some serious steep walks there and back. But there is a trolley stop in front of the lodge. Highly recommend. Can't wait to go back.

Tv remote did not work. Person at desk said that only the owner could do anything about it and would not be in until next day.

Breakfast was cold cereal and and oatmeal packets. But only one spoon available. When told that the bread had run out the person at the desk seemed surprised because they had put a loaf there "two days ago "

No coffee made in breakfast room. We had to make it ourselves. No juice.

Current owners have had the property for 3 weeks so most of the reviews don't mean much.

We have had nothing but wonderful service from this marina. Everyone is friendly and helpful. The store has so many options for clothing which is nice. The hotel is one of the cleanest we've ever stayed in. There was always someone available to get us towels or fresh sheets. The food and service was great at the restaurant. Our servers Jocelyn, Summer, Piper and Madison were fantastic. I highly recommend it for anyone looking to stay/visit at Norris.
The staff at Sydney James Lodge went above and beyond for our family! When I had mistakenly booked a room that wouldn't have fit us very comfortably for the 5 days, they quickly resolved our issue by getting us into one of their gorgeous suites for no extra charge! I will be forever grateful! We plan on staying with them next summer when we come to visit the area again. They were amazing!
Stayed here several weeks ago. I really like what they did with the place. The staff here has turned this place into a work of art with the way they have remodeled all the rooms and they pride themselves on what they do. The room was super clean. The bed was comfortable. Check in and check out was super easy and smooth.

It was nice to be able to walk around downtown to get a bite to eat.

Keep up the good work. Really loved it
I absolutely love this hotel I am a second year, returning guest and my stay about a month ago was fantastic!! They have even impressed me once again to where I actually booked a three night stay in October for me and my hubby for our anniversary. It is so cozy. I love the fact that they had an indoor and outdoor pool. The café has delicious food and walking out on my balcony to see the bears every morning it’s just absolutely breathtaking. Don’t miss out on a perfect opportunity to enjoy pure comfort would definitely recommend.

We had such a great time at the Monarch! The King Suite is such a great size to have visitors in your room, everything was updated and clean, and the contact-free service was amazing - I really enjoyed getting texts with updates, etc. instead of having to stop by the front desk (although they were always helpful at the front desk as well). The location cannot be matched - so close to everything great in Moscow. They provide noise machines and ear plugs for light sleepers, the air conditioning is great, and I also really enjoyed the key code for the doors - makes it much easier than having to worry about remembering a room key when you leave. Absolute blast and cannot wait to stay again!

Shanghai Resort is a hidden gem on Norris Lake. As a marina, it boasts a delightful ambiance and offers a truly enjoyable dining experience. We had a fantastic time during our visit. We had dinner here outside on the patio, and the food was excellent. We definitely plan on returning here!
This hotel was great. I read the reviews and looked at pictures ahead of time and I pretty much knew what to expect. Yes it’s outdated but it’s clean and well worth the money. The staff was incredibly nice especially the people who work at the poolside cafe. The only thing I was disappointed about, which wasn’t their fault at all, was the fact that another hotel was being built behind them obscuring the wonderful view there was from our room. We enjoyed it so much we’ve decided to stay there whenever we go to Gatlinburg, you can’t beat the price and kind employees. Also, this hotel has thousands of reviews but they still have a 4.3 rating for there review score, keep that in mind, that means most of there reviews are very good.

Rented a boat from them, and when we brought the boat back they pointed out a scratch that they claimed wasn’t there when we departed with the boat. They had no way of showing us the damage wasn’t there prior to us taking the boat out, so we ended up getting charged an extra $250 when we know we didn’t do the damage. When we tried talking to them they just said “I’m doing my job” they gave us Lucas’s number and it took 30 minutes to get through with the guy. He treated us fairly poorly and didn’t try to make anything right at all. We ended up having to pay over $1,000 for this boat rental. Definitely not worth the price, and I’d recommend any other boat rental.

We rented a speed boat and it turns out there was a scratch on it before we took off, then when we brought it back they saw it in the inspection and told us it was our fault and charged us $250. It must have been under the buoy when we did that first inspection. There was no way we could have caused a scratch that deep since we never docked on that side of the boat. Would definitely not recommend this company. Will not go back.
Had terrible customer service. Was charged for damage previously on the boat that we did not do. A $500 boat rental turned into over $1,000 that was charged to my card. I would never go back or recommend this company to anyone. I will be sure to let all of my friends and family that love Norris know to never come to this place. Warning to take your own overview pictures prior to taking the boat out if you decide to go with this poorly ran rental company.

Food was good. Very impressed with the staff. Glad to see teenagers helping people and not on the phone. My only complaint is they had a political flag under the American flag. No matter what side you are on you shouldn’t be displaying your political beliefs for the public to see.

Well the stay was unpleasant. I found the 2/3rds of the cleaning staff to be rude, the room I was in was disgusting, they ask you to bring up your own dirty towels... For a national chain, I was HIGHLY DISAPPOINTED. Found bugs on my bed too.
What strikes me most about Daunt’s Albatross, and I mean this in the most positive way possible, is how low key and laid back it is. Every person who works there and everything associated with it - including the restaurant they own across the street called Bird on the Roof, the pool area, the courtyard and fire pits, is so chill and easy going. It made for a super relaxing and enjoyable time.

A great perk is the gift cards they give to the their coffee/cocktail place across the street which has AMAZING food and drinks.

The location is perfect. We had a really wonderful vacation there. I can’t recommend Daunt’s enough and hope to be back.

Booked on short notice and they still had a room for a decent price. There’s no pet fee and they have a dog potty area! The Lady in the office was the nicest and even with a man coming in being disrespectful, and she kept her cool. I got the 1 queen bed and it was clean and spacious, great for having a dog! I would stay again!

I called the day before reservation to try and confirm, was hung up on, tried back several times the next 30 minutes to hang ups and busy signal. They could not speak or understand English. These are not the original owners to the 'good reviews'. Because we were on the road and unsure if we had a place to stay, I made other plans (this is the day before out trip to Lisbon). I did finally reach someone at the phone number about an hour later. Was told it was a 'misunderstanding'. I cancelled our reservation and was assured that they WOULD NOT charge our card. Well, here I am, they charged our card. I would never recommend this place on just customer service alone and we haven't even got to see the hotel. We will be fighting our charges. Very unprofessional, should not be in business.
Stand by..... They are suppose to call back. We shall see.
Ok, the day has gone by, we called back after not hearing anything. After multiple attempts to get them to answer the phone, we finally got through. Man that I spoke with, stating that he was manager now tells us the Owner will not be in till the weekend. And I informed him that we are disputing charges. I would not deal with these people AT ALL.

Customer service was amazing! Location couldn’t have been better. We loved the ability to text the front desk with questions, receiving a quick response each time. Room was clean, with mini fridge and microwave, plus complimentary waters that they refill for you in the lobby with filtered water! Our room was on the front end of the motel close to the busy road but unless you’re a light sleeper I don’t see how road noise would be an issue. I slept like a baby! Thank you for a great stay Monarch
Perfect location and loved the attention to every detail with the design. Such a cute spot! Must try bird on the roof restaurant owned by the same people across the street (and they allowed our dogs outside). Very convenient!
Overall great experience. The rooms were clean and smelled clean. The AC worked great. The staff were very friendly and helpful. There were 3 pools and the river in the back was a great bonus.
Our balcony was very small, about the width of a person but they had a seating area by the river which made up for it. It could use new carpet, but to us this wasn't a con.
Parking was a tight. A microwave in the room would be a good edition.
We will stay again!

Stayed here for 2 nights in June 2023 and had a lovely visit. We didn't stay in the room much other than sleeping, but the room was very nice. So was the staff. The room was cleaned while we were off during the day, which was nice (I noticed some motels/hotels have not resumed daily cleanings since the pandemic). We chose this motel because the price was competitive and the location was great. It's very close to the Garden of the Gods, and just a short drive from Manitou Springs. You can see Pike's Peak from the front sidewalk. The beds in the room were comfy and our room (two queens) had a cute dining table with 2 chairs, which was very convenient. I drove by a lot of other local motels during my stay, and this was one of the more well-kept ones on the outside. No breakfast on site (just some beverages), but there's fast food restaurants down the road and some good local restaurants for lunch and dinner. As far as I could tell, all the rooms were on ground level, so you won't have noisy guests above you. We didn't hear any road noise, either. There was also plenty of parking. For those who are very picky, I will say the water pressure in the shower wasn't the best and the toilet was probably the lowest full-size toilet ever made, but those were very minor things and wouldn't keep me from staying there again. I highly recommend the Mecca Motel!

We love this place! We go multiple times each summer, and enjoy it every time. My only complaint is that their menu has shrunk. They used to have arguably the best food on the lake, and a large variety. Now it's gone down to a limited menu with not great options. I wish they would put the old menu back. Otherwise it's a great place to hangout and be at!
My wife and I stayed at Daunts Albatross between May 30 - June 2, 2023. We had stayed here previously, several times, as had my wife’s parents, but this was our first visit since the renovations.

From the first call to book our stay (Claudine was amazing), to the morning we checked out, everything we experienced was exceptional.

Our room (the two room suite) was clean, simply but nicely furnished and was a tremendous upgrade since our last stay (pre-renovations). Considerable thought clearly went into updating the property while still maintaining a casual and welcoming vibe that Montauk has long been known for. The carpeted floors have all been replaced with stone (a wise decision in a beach community) and the bathroom was nicely updated with an amazing shower. The beds were comfortable and the linens of nice quality.

The sense of welcome and attention to detail from every staff member we came in contact with was outstanding. The housekeeper (Savina ?) was pleasant, accommodating and excellent at all that she did during our stay. There were staff visible throughout each day and all were pleasant and attentive.

The pool area was spa like. It has also been upgraded with nice patio furniture, landscaping, an outdoor grill and oven and even an area for yoga. There were fire pits in the courtyard each night and unlike other guests that complained about noise, that was never a concern and the fires were extinguished at 10 pm nightly in deference to all guests. The property is dog friendly and each day we were greeted by Koda, the resident retriever. While not directly on the beach, Daunts is a one block walk to the sand and surf of Montauk.

Daunts has taken over Bird on the Roof restaurant and also upgraded that property (physically and with a new menu). We visited for happy hour, breakfast and late evening drinks / small plates and each visit was better than the last. The offerings are varied, the food quality excellent and the presentation really nicely done. As with Daunts, the staff at “The Bird” are pleasant, attentive and welcoming. Shout out to Sophia, Brianna and our favorite… Malcolm, for making us feel like we were family while visiting.

Thanks to Leo, Zoey and the entire staff at Daunts and The Bird. You are clearly continuing the tradition of a comfortable and welcoming getaway location that your parents and grandparents started many years ago.

We can’t wait to come back… see you all soon!

Great place to stay, loved it. Nice, simple, comfortable and clean rooms. Staff is very friendly and willing to help if you have any questions or need anything. It's right in the heart of the beautiful center of Moscow so there's lots to do within short walking distance. I would highly recommend this place.

Yes, i gave 5 stars!!! its not a "4 star hotel"--but to be honest, i felt it was better than a 4 star!! Room (307) was super clean, PLENTY of towels, bed/pillows were very comfortable (HAVE stayed in a 4 star and the bed was HORRIBLY bad!!!) Kitchenette had everything we would need (unless your preparing a gourmet meal...in that case--EAT OUT!!) Bathroom was very clean, ONLY complaint is the carpet--i feel EVERY FREAKING HOTEL/MOTEL should get rid of carpet!! The young lady at the desk at check in was so very personable, very knowledgeable, called after we got to the room to see if we needed anything. People complained about the hallway...folks, its ocean front, is exposed to all the elements--they could paint it every week, and its not going to look great!! I did not see ANY bugs. Very easy access to the beach. Very close to LOTS of restaurants. The Price was fantastic. DEF will be going back!

I can't thank the entire staff of M6 enough for letting us crash here for a week. There is no charge for my pets, great location, and very friendly staff every time I go to the office. Also, let me park my Uhaul truck in the parking lot.. I'm beyond grateful for everything. Also, can't beat the price!
First of all, they charged $194 per night. On the plus side it did not smell. Most everything else was wrong though. Linens were dirty, the room was unfinished, they were holes in the walls. The toilet was not clean and had pee stains from the previous tenant. All of the elements to make coffee were available in the room, however, there was no coffee maker. At some point it should be criminal to offer these rooms. The door did not even have a security lock on it. If it had not been after midnight, and we were so exhausted, we would have checked right back out.
22 family members (21 adults and a baby) and 3 dogs got together here for the weekend to celebrate my father's 85th bday. It poured the entire time....but that did not dampen our spirits....the igloos and suite were used to keep the party going. The management there were extremely friendly and hospitable. 1 block away from the beach and 2 seconds to stores and restaurants.
Last time I was there was summer of 2022. None of these pictures online are accurate. The rooms are dingy, old and the bathroom seriously needs updating. Yes it has a good location to get into town but that’s why they overcharge during the summer. The room itself is not worth it. Hopefully they’re doing renovations to all the rooms not just the one that you see them posting pictures of.

Stayed here April 11 2023. Only had smoking room left so we took it. The lady at the front desk told us that it did smell of smoke. We took it anyway. The bed spreads were full of burn holes and the ashtrays were just emptied and not wipe out or washed. Had to move the bed to close the bathroom door. The dirt that was under the bed was unbelievable. The room was disgustingly filthy. The light switches had a smoke film on them. No soap or shampoo. Told the front desk and all the guy said was sorry. Never staying here again.
Okay the person that work there was was not a good person animated when I got into the room it was all so don't let anybody that works for you because it's worth the stay
Now this was an experience of my life. I loved the room and the lights. It was a really good size room with a full bathroom, a pole, tv, Bluetooth speaker system, super cool lights. I loved it so much and I had such a fun time. Prices are pretty reasonable. Three hours is about 32$ and a whole night Is about 90$. They also offer some stuff to help your experience. 10/10 will come many times

My cousin stayed there for a few days and I went to visit him since I live in the area, I went a few times and I’ve been there when it was the older hotel, it was not called Nexx back then. Back then the rooms weren’t looking as good as now. Now most of the rooms have been renewed and they look nicer. But they aren’t many commodities, is just a simple hotel with a parking lot television and I don’t even remember using wifi. But there is a lot of stores around the area.

The place had a terrible bleach smell. Me and my guy paid to stay for six hours but random guys kept knocking on the door. I had to call the office to complain four times, as we tried to ingor it got worst. I would not recommend this place. It would help if they had security.

I liked it a lot, the service was a little weird and creepy but the room was beautiful and came with Bluetooth speakers built in and amazing light displays inside. The bathroom and bed were clean and updated and the whole room was very well put together. A little small but worth the price.

I am traveling with my wife for work.
We've been working all over North Dakota and I have to say, I have never met nicer people. I had such a pleasant experience at the front desk after driving all day.
The hotel is clean and very nice.

Not bad.... The rates are wonderful. The rooms are clean and remodeled nicely. If the sheets have yellow stains you can ask for non-stained or new sheets and they will accomdate 100%. If they do not YOU CAN GET A FULL REFUND. I absolutely like the motel and you can pay by the hour.
Really enjoyed my stay here. Staff was kind and helpful. Sad that the pool was empty, we were looking forward to that. But love that the 7-11 was next door, dennys was also within walking distance and even a nail and hair place to get my nails filled for my son's graduation within short period of time and walk in. The train is right across the street.

I was placed here after my flight was canceled. I immediately felt uncomfortable. They do not have deadbolts on any of the doors. In the first room I was located in, the bathroom window was open and the lock no longer worked. And one of the pictures that was supposed to be on each side of the bed was missing, I could tell from the holes in the wall. I went to the front desk to ask for a different room. Although the front desk was kind, she said that most of the rooms were in the same condition. I was appalled but moved to a second story room. However, when I walked into this room it reeked of disinfectant and I also noticed the smoke detector was covered by a plastic bag. The walls are paper thin and the pillows are rock solid. After a rough day of having flights cancelled, I would not say that this was an ideal place to stay. I will personally be avoiding at all costs if the situation ever arises again.

I enjoyed my short stay. Yes the building is old and need some renovations but if you are just looking for a place to hang for a few hours and regroup or spend a night its is a great option for the area. hot shower and cold A/C is all that matter to me. It was also very close to a bar , gas stations Popeyes and a shoping Center. I will visit again if i am in the area and have to take a quick break beds are very comfy the decor is modern and attractive. I was referred to it by a friend.
Checked in with four children and quickly ran out of soap and towels. I contacted the front desk and within minutes I had enough towels and supplies to get the kids squeaky clean. Excellent Service! Large. clean rooms at a reasonable rate! Highly recommended. Light rail just across the street so extremely well located!
Most friendly and helpful receptionist ever, so lovely and great first impression of hotel. Couldn't have been more sweet, giving me directions to the downtown along with a helpful map, ensuring parking in car park and facilitating an early check in. If nothing else had gone right with hotel this lady ensured I would have left with a good impression. Fortunately everything about the hotel was exceptional, and I don't give praise lightly. It was clean, stylish, roomy with excellent service , Room itself was well equipped and comfortable. I could go on but suffice it to say I was very pleased with my stay, and although short and sweet this time, I hope to be back for a longer visit in the future.
The hotel was very nice I stayed here because I had a soccer game I was going to attend. The hotel is very clean, my room was very well decorated. It smelled clean, the lobby was my favorite. It's very well decorated. I was very surprised when I got there because I read the Yelp reviews before getting there. Front desk was very friendly. I slept well. There's also a Denny's right next door so that's always a plus in the mornings.
I wouldn't recommend staying here unless you really have to.

There is nothing particularly horribly about the hotel, but it looks (and smells) like it was last updated in the late 80's. The rooms and facilities aren't filthy, but they are 30 + years of use type of dirty.

I flew out to San Jose for a job interview and stayed here bc of its proximity to the workplace. First thing I noticed was the lack of deadbolts. I was traveling solo and didn’t feel safe. Secondly, the room looked and smelled like it hadn’t been cleaned in a while. The bathroom was pretty dirty, it looked as though I would come out dirtier if I tried to shower in it. I had booked the room for a couple of nights but ended up begging a friend to stay on their couch for the remaining days I was in town, even though it was further away from where I needed to be. The extra commute and money was worth not being in an unclean room. I’d avoid at all costs.
I would say more like 1.5 stars. The staff is pretty nice but as soon as you walk into the lobby it smells old and weird. Your first impression "smell" has to be a good one.. We had to walk a long way to get to our room and the hallways smelled terrible and the carpet and fixtures, pictures etc are very outdated. We got to our room and there was an inch and a half cockroach right outside our door!?! No joke.. My wife just about flipped! Needless to say we will never stay here again especially for $130 a night with no breakfast. Area doesn't look or feel the greatest but I am not familiar with this area so I could be wrong. Oh and the pool was closed when we arrived but went to check it out since we were planning on swimming the next day until it was time to head to the airport. Well the pool size was awesome but the closer we got it looked mucky and really dirty. So disappointed.
