The National Inn is a quiet place located on Garden Grove blvd. It's not a 24-hour room service, but they stay up late. The room was clean, a nice size king bedroom, a big flat screen TV, a refrigerator, There's no phone to use in the room. My overall score is 2.5 stars 🌟.
This is the worst homeless shelter!!!! This shelter is trashy, and is very poor for a homeless shelter. I was recently moved this this trash of the place from the other homeless shelter and this is so much worse. Rooms are old and ugly and much smaller! Don’t stay here my fellow friends stay at the other homeless shelters
Everything was fine is outdated an the 5th floor smell was horrible but when you got into the room it wasn't bad at all. The laundry room was locked ab didn't own with door key. There things close by for shopping dining an the t as well.

Dirty, cheap mattresses, made my sister in law pay to go in and watch her kid swim while she held her new born, property owners clearly don't put any money back into the property. Have a back ache from their $50 mattresses, come here with low expectations and you'll be fine. This place does not provide the value that would expect from paying $200 a night. The best part about it, apart from the swim area, was the lady that cooked breakfast, she was very friendly. Buckets in the hallway, unfinished projects and just lots of TLC needed. Littles will like it, but don't expect the money you pay to reflect upon the service and amenities this place offers. They know you are forced to use this place if you don't want to drive to the cities or if you're coming to Duluth and want the kids to come swim. This place was just ok..
Love that it's indoors. Fast easy service. Pizza was so delicious 😋. Hot tub was actually hot. I find it weird though that the lazy river you have yo have a float. Most places we walk or swim it. Good though that there are enough floats. 1 tube ride or double ride and 1 no tube slide ride, both great. Splash area for youngsters and also another area with a whirlpool and basketball fun and a lilypad crossing. We had a fabulous time.

No stars for this hotel!!!!!!!! Although they say it is non smoking, it’s obvious that people smoke inside the hotel too as there was a smell from cigarette smoke throughout. The room we were originally assigned had stains on the carpet, a damaged wall, and the drawers in the dresser were hanging out of the furniture. I don’t even know how they could assign anyone a room that looked like the one we had. They reassigned us another room but the smell of smoke was affecting my health even after only being in the room for not even an hour. We had to check out after only being in this hotel for maybe 1.5 hrs if that. Absolutely disgusting! Looks like they have people living in this hotel long term. I did not feel safe here! DO NOT stay at this hotel. You will NOT enjoy your stay!!!!!!!
I have never written a review before. I will never go back to this place. The beds are very uncomfortable. The rooms are very outdated. Your key never works and have to go all the way downstairs to front desk to get a new key everytime you plan to leave your room and coming back. The waterpark was the worst experience I have ever had. First of all the hours are only from 5 pm to 10 pm and 8 am to 10 am and it's 20 a ticket. Big cost
My daughter who is 7 and has 2 years of swimming lessons. She knows how to swim. The lifeguard for whatever reason didn't think she was safe to swim without a life jacket. I told them she was just fine. I was standing right next to the area she was swimming the whole time or another family member was. She was just fine swimming she loves going under the water and does this head bobbing thing. Anyways we got kicked out because I refuse to put a life jacket on her. She hates them and truly doesn't need them. I could see if a life guard had to jump in to save her then I wouldn't had any issues putting one on her but no one had to jump in for her and there was always an adult near by watching her. I am so upset on how I was treated at this waterpark. The lifeguards were very rude and disrespectful . My family and I will never come back to this place.

This is also a homeless shelter, that I can't even get into the program because I'm not homeless enough, I sleep in my car.
Clean room, comfortable bed and friendly staff. Plus free hot continental breakfast. However, the coffee provided could take some improvement. The sound proof of the windows was very good. I heard almost nothing even the hotel is located nearby a corner of two major roads.
Focused for families. There is no housekeeping service while there unless specific need. You have to place the used laundry and the garbage out your door. They place new laundry on a bag outside your door if you're not in the room. Still have COVID distance rules in place for the elevators. Free coffee is not good. Only 1 voucher per stay, not daily.

Cannot beat the price for the location. It’s within a 10 minute walk from the orange line and access to downtown. The staff was super friendly and helpful! The hotel was clean, in a safe area, and quiet. Would not even look for another place to stay if we came back, would stay here without a doubt.
This place is definitely a rip off. I paid over $500 for a dirty room and no tickets are included. The Waterpark is only open from 8-10am and 5-10pm. I’d go to any other hotel with a pool and have way more fun. I will never come back. In fact I didn’t get to even go into the water park as my 3 year old was too tired and cranky by 5 pm. I’m so upset at the price and waste of money. OT recommended. 👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻
Lots if fun. Staff are a little confused when it comes to using the bracelets at the Waterpark but easy to deal with. Great atmosphere, friendly staff. Water is a decent temperature and the hottub is actually hot.

We stay here a couple of times a year. The restaurant and bar are attached to the hotel and the food is pretty good. The service is always top notch. The rooms leave a bit to be desired. Not very clean and kind of smelly. Overall we are always happy with our several day stay.
I stood here on a week long business trip, the room had a horrible smell, no refrigerator or microwave, the door didn't have an additional lock and there was a gap at the bottom portion of the door. The carpet in the hallways is filthy, they do not clean your room unless you ask them and you have to notify them 24 hrs in advance. So don't ask them Monday morning to clean your room while you're out. They will tell you that the maintenance schedule is full. The TV service is horrible, my stay was from Sunday - Saturday. I had tv service for 2 days only! The phones do not work to call the front desk, so you have to call the hotel and then select the proper option to get the front desk. If you have medication that requires refrigeration, they will ask you to leave it at the front desk for them to hold it. They have a "community" microwave in the lobby if you want to heat anything up. Needless to say, this wasn't a pleasant stay. I left Friday after work, and didn't bother to stay until Saturday morning. The staff however, are friendly and tried to be accommodating.
Stayed here in the Dock House several times and it's such a treat watching the tide going out and coming in right out the window and under our balcony, a perfect spot to sit and breathe in the sea air while enjoying the view (from the balcony or the bed!). The rooms in the Dock House are so cozy, comfortable beds, gorgeous bathroom, and easy to use heat and A/C. Very short walk to Shore Road and Main Street, and the bridge to the beach. All I can think of to make it better is a remote control to open the blinds first thing in the morning. ;) A gem of a place!
Great affordable place in a busy sea side area. There is a beach at the property and a short walk to two other beaches. Stayed with another family of three and we fit comfortably. Excellent views and a green space for people to use.
Almost canceled after reading reviews about the rooms being dirty. We were very pleased with the staff and our room. Airport shuttle, great front desk service, baggage hold, room was very clean and comfortable. Good location. We had decided we would stay here again if we're ever in Boston.
I've stayed at multiple different units at the Garlands since 2019, including the Ocean Front options. Each unit offers a unique charm, but all have the same amazing ocean view and access. You simply cannot beat the location, and amenities for the bargain price in and off peak season. Wonderful private Beach, walkable to great town beaches, general store, restaurants/bars, and more. If you like to make your own meals on vacation, the kitchen has everything you need. Every window from every unit has an ocean view, must check it out! Additionally, there is no minimum stay at any time if the year, big advantage compared to other Cape Cod rentals.

Our family has been coming here for years. We have been at other locations in the same vicinity and garlands is superior in amenities, location (beachfront coffee and walks anyone?) and each unit is individually owned and you can tell (I’ve stayed in several units over the years) that owners pay attention to the reviews and take feedback seriously. I wrote a review once that the mattresses really needed to be replaced and when I returned the next year the replacement was done, I can tell that the owners try hard to make it comfortable and worry free for guests that are traveling to this ever popular destination. Unfortunately, after reading many of these reviews it seems there is an extreme discrepancy that the garlands is associated or affiliated with some other locations as a sister property and I am quite aware that this is Indeed false. The garlands is it’s own entity and has absolutely no correlation with other properties despite what others have commented. Please check this place out! It’s a great place to visit april thru October! Just has a great vibe and comfortable setting, and the ocean sounds and views are very welcome!
We stayed for 6 nights over 9 days. We arrived at Logan at 1230a. Called the hotel. 30 minutes later, I called again,a s the shuttle had not arrived. Person on the phone assured us that we had not been forgotten and that, perhaps, the driver had experienced traffic issues (at 1am?). When the shuttle arrived, the driver never spoke and never offered assistance. On the way to the hotel, another passenger's bag rolled into the stairwell, blocking out exit. On arrival at the hotel, the driver made no attempt to get out and moved the bag. I moved the bag out of the shuttle so we could exit. Check-in was smooth. For our first visit, we stayed in room 328. Spacious, Great beds, Quiet. Deadbolt did not line up with the door jamb, making the lock useless. Shower plus that redirects water from the tub to the shower was faulty. B the end of our shower, we were standing in 3-4 inches of water. Also, a "bath-fitter" tub had been installed over the original tub, making the step from the tub to the floor extra long and awkward. No railing to hold onto. On our second visit, we were assigned a room on the 2nd floor. The key would not open the door. The front-desk clerk came up and also was unable to open the door, commenting that the battery in the door lock must be dead. She told us we cold take the room and wait for the maintenance person to fix it, but he was off-premises and his return time was unknown. We declined the room and were assigned to room 324. Not as big as 328, but still quiet and with good beds. No microwave and the frig was a college-dorm style that sat under the sink adjacent to the bathroom. Third floor ice maker never worked during either visit. Breakfast was so-so and the breakfast room was too small. Guests poured into the lobby to find places to eat. Overall, the shuttle incident tainted our impressions of the hotel. While it is certainly adequate, I wold look for another place to stay next time.
National Inn is the place to go .. the rooms are super clean and good service... The front desk is super nice this guy will help you out in everything you need... really polite and understandable... prices are good.. I will be coming back

1ST room had a foul stench like rotting garbage, room 2 same thing. Room 3 smelled ok but after putting my bags in room noticed how filthy the room was. Stuffed chair was so dirty it was grey but originally tan. I have given better furniture to the restore. Carpet sticky, hadnt been vacumed in a very long time. Mold and dirt all over tub. Glass window looked like someone spit on it then rubbed it around. Bathroom door looked like milk was spilled on it. Curtains were partially hanging off the rod, holes in walls and missing paint. If it wouldnt have been so late at check in I would have left. Room was so dark with every light on it felt like a dungeon. Anyone who gave this hotel a 3, 4 or 5 rating is a fraud. Front Desk and front hallway is sparkling clean, but the rooms are trashed and the filthiest I have seen.
Rooms were clean but the customer service was horrible. Checked out early do to an emergency asked if I would be able to get a refund on the other night since I would not be there anymore. Grace property manager was rude and said that she wouldn’t be able to accommodate my request. She was super unprofessional was yelling at me from across the parking lot in front of another customer. She also had a problem that my kids got dropped off to me at her location. She assumed that they where there the whole night. I tried to explain to her that they were not. She kept talking over me and walking away as I was trying to explain to her. As a customer service representative I would never yell at another customer especially not in front of another customer. I will not be returning to her hotel. Worse experience ever.
Me and my husband stayed here for two nights. When we checked in there was a container with cake in it which I guess the housekeeper forgot to throw away, but that was no big deal, the room was a decent size, it was a two bedroom, for me and my husband I thought it was comfortable, I couldn’t imagine more people in there though. It was the perfect location since it is right on a private beach, we went down to the beach for 9 AM and high tide had taken it over though by 1:30, there were some spots some people were sitting at that the water didn’t hit, you could just walk down the stairs they have and walk straight into the ocean though, it is not deep at all. We saw some beautiful sunsets, and free fireworks while we were there since it was Labor Day weekend. Down the road is another beach and a food place which we got breakfast from and it was good. This hotel isn't far from other restaurants and fun activities to do like mini golf. Overall we had a great time and would definitely come back

It’s quite a nice inn with a great price, the bed is much better than many inn we’ve been. The little fridge is cold, has all things needed for travelers like iron, hair dryer. The parking is plenty. The ice machine needs quarter to operate but the owner would give you if you don’t have. The wifi is available but slow. Our room on second floor has noise knocking from the ceiling may annoy someone from getting to sleep. Other than that it’s a great inn. The ac works perfectly.
*Rooms* were a little outdated, beds were ok but definitely well used and old. One blanket was clearly not switched out because it had some stuff on it. We had a balcony room which viewed Lake Superior and it was absolutely beautiful! Only thing is that the balcony door was just a regular door and not like a sliding one. Didn't like that the balcony didn't have a closed barrier either from the next room so it was a little awkward. I could see if it was an adjoining room (which had a closed barrier to and from) and shared same balcony area but it wasn't.
*Service* was more than welcoming and professional. Staff was polite, informed and informative on any destinations in the area that we'd like to see during our stay. The food and kitchen staff were above and beyond! A must for us! Cheap prices and fulfilling. Water Park was a hit for sure. Boyfriend and kids loved it!
*Location* is perfect. It's right on the edge of the lake. Well, I mean, the highway and some nice homes were between the hotel and the Lake but we use the fan to block out any noise anyway so that wasn't an issue for us.
*Service* was more than welcoming and professional. Staff was polite, informed and informative on any destinations in the area that we'd like to see during our stay. The food and kitchen staff were above and beyond! A must for us! Cheap prices and fulfilling. Water Park was a hit for sure. Boyfriend and kids loved it!

Stayed in the garlands next door that is part of them called Seaview from 8/20 to 8/27 in Unit 8. Room was dirty, no toilet paper on arrival. Rooms had mold and rusty blinds. Furniture was dirty and rooms smelled. I got a huge allergy from sleeping in the beds and the price increased by $600 from the previous year. Very disappointed in my vacation this year. Would NOT recommend there other than the view.
The water park was excellent! The pools and pool areas were very clean, they have lifeguards on duty which is nice when you have little ones. Our teenager loved the water slides and the hot tub was amazing! The arcade was super fun, but most games cost $1, so you burn through money pretty quick. Our room was clean, nothing special which is fine since we spent most of our time in the water park. They also have a fun mini golf area, and complimentary s’mores kits at night that our family loved! It was the perfect little getaway for our family!
This was an emergency situation I had to find something quick and cheap the man that was a check in was very nice of I ever need something like this again I will be there! Just want crazy about that part of town other than that no complaints

The place is like something you would see in a movie, never did I think hotels like this actually exist. Everything you’ve seen in other reviews is 100% true. The place absolutely reeked of pot. Parties blaring music and for some weird reason other guests constantly screaming at the top of their lungs both nights I was there. The room itself was filthy. Dust was everywhere, mold all in the shower (I ended up showering at the gym), the toilet was mounted away from the wall and diagonally (not a huge deal but weird), the sliding doors weren’t secure at all and were actually shaking due to wind. On the bright side, the bed was fine although I slept on top of the comforter instead of getting under the covers. I also didn’t see any insects or rodents and noticed they have those black boxes with rat poison outside (must have an exterminator now). The room had basic appliances, which was nice although I chose not to use them. Both nights I decided to find things to do around town so the only time I spent in the room was to sleep.

All lies! Don't spend a dime in this place. Yu be better off going to the mission. And the first reviews had to be written by the drug addict manager cause they are definitely lies. And if yu have had in problems, discrimination, or another thing yu not was not lawful from the manager please contact me and the better business's bureau because I'm currently filing a lawsuit on this hotel and the manager. Two separate lawsuits for this place and if yu do your research I'm not the first in the last 3 years
The lady at the desk was very kind and even recommended a great restaurant nearby when I asked. It turned out to be a wonderful place to eat with a super all-you-can-eat salad and taco bar! Now back to the room. It was spotless and newly remodeled. Everything was beautiful! Even the tiled bathroom floor was warm to walk on. It must have been heated under the floor. It was as nice as staying at a top-rated popular motel! The beds were soft and very comfortable - as were the pillows too. It was close to downtown where there was an art festival on the courthouse grounds. We got a great night's sleep! I wish we could find such a wonderful room in every town we stopped at for the same very reasonable price! We stayed at 11 different motels on our vacation and this is the only one I took time to leave a review for because I was so impressed! I wished I would have taken pictures of the inside of the room, but by the time I thought of it, we had the beds messed up and our luggage unpacked. So just took pics of the outside so we could remember where to stay next time we are in Prescott, AZ.
This hotel was one of the most scary and unsafe hotel I have stayed at. The whole hotel smelled like weed. Our door to our room wouldn't lock. Asked it to be fixed and came back at midnight after a wedding and the door could just be pushed open. The curtains let all light in and th doors let all the hallway light in. So room was not dark to sleep at all. We actually put a bunch of Towels under the door to help keep light out. 2 of the side entrances you could just walk in , the locks were broken. Did not feel safe at all . Very run down hotel, needs a major redo.

This was our first year staying at The Garlands. It did not disappoint! We had a view of the ocean from our room and obviously the balcony with chairs and table on balcony to enjoy the view. Stairs right down to the beach and ocean which was great for swimming and fishing. It was a short drive to great restaurants, local coffee shops, bakeries, ice cream shops etc. Some even walking distance. Great price! The unit we stayed in the owners even left us a thank you note and bottle of wine which was a nice touch!
The rooms were clean but the WiFi there is horrible! Kept disconnecting and took 3 hours to download a movie on Netflix so I could watch something since browsing was impossible

I've worked there a few times the Service Always Great during Winter Time Great Programs to help the poor with kids and animals. I highly recommend it. I'm from El Monte Never Had Any problems here. Close to stores restaurants and markets Donut shops for those lover's of it.
This place is amazing. We do motorcycle shows and they went above and beyond to help keep out bikes safe. The rooms are clean have wifi extender for other end. The people there that clean and manage the place are awsome
READ REVIEWS FIRST!!! The bad reviews on this place are the ones you need to listen to. The manager lady was rude right off the bat. There was a mix up with the number of people I had staying in the room. Before I even paid I had the manager double check how many people were listed for the room. It was wrong. I already knew by the tone of her voice that I wasn't going to be wasting my money on this crack den (because it smelled and looked like one). She gave me an attitude and proceeded to show me the paperwork as if it was my fault. I asked if my card would be charged, she said she would have it canceled. And I walked away. Before I was out the door, she threatened me never to come back again. And TRUST me I never will, and I'll make sure many more unsuspecting patrons after me never will either. She messed with the WRONG ONE!
Not the best place in town nor the worst. Try to avoid weekly rentals. You will pay as much as you would for a very nice apartment each month....
Rustic view, the room is dirty and our front door doesn't lock. We weren't looking for a Hilton , but for the location this motel fits the scenery. Feels like the movie from dusk til dawn.
Owned by some very nice people who will work on giving u the best care while u stay with them 💗 recommend others to stay here

I'm incredibly grateful for the services this place has offered. The rooms are perfectly clean and spacious. Comes with good quality mini fridge, bathtub and shower, flat screen and all the channels, and the beds are pretty comfortable as well (down comforters are ALWAYS a cozy plus 👌🏻) I dig the Funky Fresh elevator with retro carpeted walls, and the ice machine and vending machines actually work too! The dude in the front office is pretty chill and kind. Location pros: close to everything you could possibly need like grocery stores, CVS, tons of food options, banks, etc., even laundry mat which is cool too.

The new manager absolutely made this time of staying here so much better...She actually listened and got things done that needed to be done years ago...Just a better atmosphere all together!!
I had to go to a hotel last minute because of a family emergency and decided to stay at the heritage hotel. This is my 3rd night here and it’s been really good. Beds are comfy enough. Room feels cozy. It’s very clean too which way crucial for me. The people working here are very friendly and accommodating. My only complaint is that to use the microwave in the kitchen you have to call someone to open it but it’s safer so it’s ok. I wish you couldn’t hear the neighbors so much either but it’s to be expected. Other than that it’s been pleasant staying here and I’m very grateful for that
Truck broke down and we limped it in late at night to this hotel. Definitely not our 1st pick, but thankful for a warm room. This hotel is falling apart. Room door handle broken inside, falling off. Deadbolt did work, but to be sure we turned desk upside down and braced it up on door handle. 😬 Woke next morning and saw what appeared to be blood stains all over side of box spring on son's bed! 😡 See pic of bathroom... will give ya an idea of what to expect...
The room is freezing there is no heat. You have to go all the way to the front to get 1 towel and toilet paper. The staff is very ratchet and call the cops when my ride picks me up for work.
Unstable staff. Reception became irate when i corrected her on incorrectly reading the card number i just gave her back to me. She stated I was like those Biden Trump people. Im not exactly sure what that was supposed to mean since they are polar opposites, but long story short dont stay here if you plan on checking in after 10pm or have any expectation of the receptionist being competent enough to understand a 16 digit card number. Ended up having to hang up and cancel the reservation and find a new hotel last minute
Quaint little motel with beautiful scenery and plants surrounding. You can instantly tell the owners take pride in their little motel as even the lampshades are kept dusted. I don't see that often in the hotels I've been to in general. Decent shower head sprayer with adjustment available. Nice air wick lavender scent I loved the moment you enter the room (a little strong for my friend but they still found it nice) The owner also gave us a couple fresh extra towels and soaps/ shampoo that I enjoyed the quality of. Seeing as we showed up for an event, with my friend's face already very painted and ready for the event, that was comforting for later. There's a park across the street that was great for the kids the following morning too. Overall would definitely recommend and stay here again in the future.
DO NOT BOOK HERE! The owner cancelled on us once we checked in on a Saturday. We did not exceed the occupancy limit of 4 for the room. I thought I had the correct number of people through expedia of 2 adults and 2 kids. I had no problem paying the extra $10, she even had my card to pay in her hands. She started asking extremely rude personal questions about my kids and how our address is only an hour away, but we drove in from out of town 4 hours away. We had an event early the next morning so that's why we booked a place. Although my personal life and personal information about my kids is none of her business, apparently answering her rude and inappropriate questions is arguing with her. And... Telling her upon check-in that 4 people are staying is lying to her. If I wanted to lie, why would I tell her how many people are staying or even hand her the card to pay? She clearly should not be in this business. After reading serval reviews looks like this is her KNOWN problem. Additionally it's clear she discriminates against families with children.
It's a motel, with that being said, it's a nice motel. Water pressure in the shower was a highlight. Beds, furniture, tv, etc are all run of the mill motel stuff, nothing more nothing less. The staff was very friendly so they get 5 stars for being a great "in category" option.
The location here is prime, but otherwise it leaves a bit to be desired. The 2 bedroom apartments are well equipped but very tight. Our bed made A LOT of noise but was comfy otherwise. All appliances seemed to work, the Keurig AND traditional coffee maker was nice. New ductless AC units were just installed. The view from the second floor was decent, especially during the full moon. The beach is not great........good deal of seaweed and the bottom isn't sandy like the public beaches nearby. The beach is only usable about half the day also, as high tide comes right up to the seawall. The wifi is virtually unusable, at least near the street side of the property. Not sure if I would come back, but for this area I don't think you can really beat the price.
We had a lovely stay in the Carriage House! Beautiful location, perfect accommodations, very friendly employees- from housekeeping to the ladies who greet you! Highly recommend and hope to return!
Such a peaceful trip and Lauren is delightful. We got our favorite ocean front view room. Just listening to the waves crash. Plenty of space. Next time we’d like to try one of the upper ocean front rooms.
For the price, this room was great. Staff was friendly and very helpful. Staff member Adi took great care of me and answered all my questions and prepared me for the parking situation on Friday and Saturday nights. Very helpful! There are also many stores within walking distance including a Starbucks. Highways are nearby and the location is great. All staff members were very helpful and friendly.

We love the Marginal Way House! It has become “our place” to stay in Ogunquit. We loved it before renovations and are pleased with the decks on the Wharf House after the renovations. The Marginal Way House has a comfortable, unpretentious feel, off the Shore Road yet walkable to everywhere we want to go.
Marginal Way House has the BEST lawn to sit and enjoy the view, right next to the footpath and off the main road (not noisy like other yard views). This was a last-minute, week-before booking and the staff was polite and I appreciated that they had contact-less check in. The room was cozy for my partner and I, the tiled bathroom and waterfall shower were a fantastic surprise!! I've stayed here before but on the ground floor (with the best view) - and this stay's room and experience were equally amazing.
They came into my room at 8 pm to instal a new toilet and was there for over an hour. Then the next morning they turned off the lights intentionally. Then banged at my door 30 minutes before check out time to tell me i need to leave
I've been here two years and have stayed here before. Each time its been on an extended time for desire not to sign a lease for personal reasons. The staff is friendly and professional the grounds stay well maintained and my Neighbors have always been kind and friendly. Certain thing that may happen here is out of all of our hands and the very few things that may occur the staff and security takes care of it immediately. I've felt safe here and feel safe here and personally have had no major issues. I recommend to check it out.
I just want to say that the motel staff/owner at this motel are the nicest people so for someone to say they are unfair. Is just NOT right I was in a major bind and I paid for one night and they continued to let me stay way past check out time till my ride arrived from Odessa, Texas. Please know that these are the NICEST people.😁
Just no. Keep driving. I'm not sure if we stayed in the worst room they had. But driving from Cali to Texas and being extremely tired. This room did the bare minimum. The bathroom had rust over all water fixtures. And the bed was very hard and felt unstable. I got up in the middle of the night to use the bathroom, there was so many bug crawling around. I never went back to sleep. Felt like a hotel you see in a sex trafficking movie or something.
Truly a beautiful place to say in the quaint and charming town by the ocean. Waking up to sit on the Adirondack chairs by the water was a dream, but a close second was the updated marble bathrooms with a rainfall shower. The staff was lovely. The parking was free (instead of $25 beach lot parking) 5 min walk to the beach. Will absolutely be visiting again!
My wife and I give the Marginal Way House a 5 star rating. This was the first time staying in Ogunquit Maine. We booked room 104 for Friday and Saturday and to check out on Sunday morning. The house setting and the views of the water is very beautiful on the property with a walking trail right off the property that goes over the bridge to a beautiful beach that we walked along in the morning. This is easy walking distance to everything in downtown shops.We walked everywhere. The rooms were very clean and charming. Laura and her coworkers were very kind and very helpful. My wife and I had a few things that we wanted that were not included in our package,but when we asked Laura ,she made every one of them happen. We do understand that they cant do everything all the time but she went over and above for us. Thanks for a great memorable weekend.We will be back and we highly recommend that people stay here.

Nice service, free WiFi in an area with spotty phone reception. Furniture was worn but seemed clean. Great place to stop on the way through. There was some funky noise from the freeway when we pulled up, but we were given a room in the back and couldn't hear the sound at all back there. Don't be worried of you don't see any cars out front. They seem to give out the back rooms first, probably because of the noise. Nice restaurant across the street for breakfast, too!
The size of the room is bigger than I expected. The price is reasonable, again better than I expected. The only issue I have found is that they need to spray for bugs. This could also be an issue that came from a resident however. Over all my experience so far has been pleasant.
Great location, good amenities and fantastic service. The Marginal Way House is uniquely nestled along the beatiful and as my wife would state, "one of the areas along the Maine Coast Line." The sitting areas are well kept and the individuals tasked with serving the guest exceed expectations. They were friendly and timely with their response to any question or inquiry. Views are great and the well kept grounds and adjacent a reason make for an enjoyable experience. Would recommend this to a friend or family member. And we plan on visiting again. Thanks for the memories!!
My cousin and I were lucky enough to find an available room on short notice as we traveled north in Maine. We were both thrilled with the location, service and our lovely room. Room 303 can accommodate 4 people with one king and a pull out trundle bed. Also a well equipped kitchen. Lovely views of the beach from the wrap around deck. Friendly and helpful staff. The grounds are beautifully landscaped with plenty of outdoor seating for guests.
One disappointment was the limited parking, only one car per room and we arrived separately with two. We felt lucky to have any parking at all since it is so limited in this area. The Inn is tucked off a side street with very easy access to all the town has to offer. We enjoyed the scenic walk along Marginal Way and walking on the extensive beach at low tide. We were sorry to have such a short visit and will plan to return again for a longer one.

We were traveling through Fort Hanvock bicycling across country, so we had limited choices each day for where to stay. We had low expectations for this motel and we were not disappointed. This place is as awful as advertised. The staff is friendly enough at this motel but the rooms are dirty, musty, and the furniture below what you would expect in a junk pile. This place is overpriced for what you get. I assume they take advantage of bicyclists as they know this is part of the southern tier route and options are very limited. Someone should open a bed and breakfast in this town. Something to get competition for these people to make some updates to their rooms. If you have options, use them. This is not a good place to stay.
