The staff at the Downtown CareXpress is wonderful. They are all kind, professional, and take time to listen. I highly recommend this clinic!!!

typing this as i sit here. it’s been 5 hours. there was 3 of us in the waiting room and nobody has been called back yet for anything. i’ve asked about wait times to be told ask a nurse and that the people at the front desk don’t know. how can you be a hospital and not give us any update on anything. test results have been given back from the nurse walking around 3 hrs ago and we haven’t heard anything since. no take this to help no let’s get you started on something, nothing. asked for pain meds multiple times now. nothing. asked for nausea medication, nothing. there is now about 8 people who have joined the waiting room since and all are not gonna be happy about the wait. seriously get it together and do better for your patients.

I would NOT recommend this hospital to save my life at all. We had to wait 4 and half hours just to get vitals. Then was told we could look on line to see the x-rays. I tried looking it up and can’t till I get seen by the doctor. The ER lady was so rude and she look for a job outside of helping people. If you need help go to Franklin square.

The place is clean and the service was prompt. The reason for 2 stars is that I came here for an annual physical checkup and the doctor ordered routine labs. However, once the results were released, the doctor messaged me asking to setup a separate appointment to discuss the results (one test was outside normal range).
This is generally not the case (at least when I used to go for my annual checkup in the city). The doctor should have at least messaged and let me know what exactly the conclusions were from the lab and why would a separate visit be required.

Highly recommend. Very satisfied with the services provided at NJ Primary Care. They were always welcoming and assisted in all our requirements. Karen was always very helpful and reachable. The rest of the staff were also super efficient. We got our results timely. This is definitely our go-to medical centre in Jersey City. Huge thanks for all the help Karen

This was my 2nd visit. It's great that the girls remember me when they seen me. Went through the perfunctory questions, I expressed some things that I wanted addressed, they took care if it no problem. Everything I have come to expect from my primary care doctor.

The worst experience ever! I went in yesterday to the ER for a possible stroke. I waited over 2 hours in the waiting area and then when they finally took me in I waited hours before a doctor or nurse came over to check on me. I was on the hallway of the ER between pediatrics and adults without anyone coming to at least tell me how long I had to wait. Every time I asked I was told that they didn’t know because of all the trauma patients and that they had priority over me. Finally a doctor came to check and speak to me. He ordered test and medicine but it was another 2-3 hours before I got blood work ordered. All night without water or anything to eat or the IV. I didn’t know who my nurse was. I had my ekg done without any results. The took me for a cat scan only to find out that they had forgot to give me the medication four hours prior to the scan. I waited another 2-3 hours for them to give me the medicine. No car scan until 9am I was then left outside waiting to be picked up my son had to push me back to the ER after 45 minutes waiting. Again no results for lab work, EJG or cat scan. Then I find out they had to do an MRI. It wasn’t until I called and complained before my cat scan that things started moving. Another call after MRI once again to complain and let them know I would leave in one hour unless I spoke to a doctor. I get it hospitals are busy and understaffed but to not have a nurse come and at least introduce yourself and let you know what was happening. I didn’t get water until after 1030 am I will never go back or recommend this hospital.

Absolute joke of a hospital. Would rather die from my symptoms than have to come back here.

Any time I have had the absolute pleasure of having to come in for vomiting symptoms (I have gastritis so this is unfortunately common) I have been talked down to by nurses and staff for having “cyclical marijuana vomiting” on multiple occasions, even one where I had stopped using cannabis for a prolonged period of time with no ill effects.

Was met with incredibly unhelpful and even rude nurses, Having one basically refuse to fill my liquid I.V. And even start to argue with me about my symptoms (as if she could feel my feelings better than I myself could. Which feels a little out of line for an infusion nurse, but hey - im not the doctor! (Something they will remind you about here)) While the back of my throat felt like it was closing in on itself from dehydration.

Matter how empty the place is. I’m pretty sure the actual currency they run on is leeching the energy from your pain, suffering and frustration.

Once you finally make it in to the emergency room you can expect literally anybody and their mother to just appear and harass you. Absolutely no oversight. Was writhing around in an indescribable amount of pain vomiting into my bedpan just to look in front of my bed and have a complete stranger (not a nurse not a doctor, just some guy) come into my room and just ask “you good?” (Which also, what is wrong with you if you’re reading this.)

Would not be writing this review if it weren’t for the multitude of human beings I have come into contact with this building has hurt in one way or another from actual in real life negligence.

Anybody that has a hand in running this place should be absolutely ashamed and should be barred from working in the medical industry. Very glad to be on the other side of the country where there is zero chance I will have to be transported here again.

The Best Doctor's Office in and around this area! I cannot talk enough about it♥️ The Doctors, Nurses, Technicians, Front Office people are extremely efficient, polite and supercool! This is a great place with great people. They always meet your health needs. Very efficient and knowledgeable.

Doctor is just amazing. She gave me super comfort and made sure that all my worries were eliminated. The staff was super supportive and helpful. Assistant Doctors were also very helpful and polite.

Most of the nurses and staff are nice but trying to get them to take care of loved ones is ridiculous. They hang around nurses station and chit chat and gossip. My uncle had to go to bathroom and we called for help cause he is a fall risk patient and they have an alarm on his bed, 20 minutes no one came so I got him up and took him. They had the nerve to say you can’t do that and I told them then do your damn job. I know they are busy but standing around chit chatting for well over 45 minutes. Nah that don’t work with me.

Don’t go to this place! I had a horrible experience waiting 1.5 hour for a 10 min discussion! The lobby is always full of patients. Apparently they only care about making most money than providing a good experience!
The office also has no empathy for patient and the long wait. When I complain about the long wait, I got a look and accused of no patience. Who would have any patience left after waiting for 1.5 hr?!
Unless your symptoms can only be treated by THIS doctor and no one else on the earth, I suggest you to find any other much better clinics.

I brought my mother here yesterday July 9, 2024 for her annual physical and I couldn't be more pleased with the excellent medical attention provided by Dr. Sydney Asselstine and the Medical student under her tutelage. Although, I don't have the student's name I have many compliments for her. The student was completely fluent in Spanish and very knowledgeable and I wish this student the best in her future endeaviors.

As far as Dr. Asselstine, Dr. A. for short; she is one-of-a-kind. Dr. Asselstine has outstanding bedside manners and professionalism. Dr. Asselstine understands the meaningful components of hospitality and she utilizes them in her medical practice elevating the medical standards of compassion, soft voice, empathy understanding and listening to the patient that so MANY professionals are lacking in the medical field today, to new highs.

Sadly other medical doctors don't get it. Don't make me call them out in this review, tho.

My experience with all these doctors from the Greenville Clinic with the Jersey City Medical Center: Dr. Forest and Dr. Corso has always been stelar. Dr. Corso is now retired and Dr. Forest was gone on a maternity leave. Congrats to Dr. Forest and her healthy baby! Hopefully, she will be back soon. Someone told me she was sick. Wishing Dr. Forest a speedy recovery!

These Greenville Clinic belongs to The Jersey City Medical Center and these doctors have great professional skills and medical abilities despite perhaps having less resources. Still these three Greenville doctora are comparable to Columbia doctors from NYC in their professional demeanor, throrough medical examinations/diagnosis and remedies for various illnesses as well as their oustanding bedside manners and for taking the necessary time to listen to the patient in this case my mom and myself as her only caregiver and provider.

It really brings tears of happiness to my eyes because I'm fortunate to have had found these excellent doctors. Thank you Dr. Forest and Dr. Asselstine. Special mention to Dr. Corso who is a retiree now but served my mom very well when she was suffering from an uncontrollable medical condition that's is now under control.

It's worth mentioning that there is a pharmacy and a lab on site. The receptionists and the nurses are also stelar. Never dissapoint with their excellent demeanor and high quality service to patients and caregivers.

As always Patty, Dawn and Bailey are just great. Professional and friendly, thorough and thoughtful.

The nurses, techs, and staff of the ER are all rockstars. They are very kind, friendly, and caring.

I think the problem is that the hospital doesn’t actually employ any doctors. The ER wait is absolutely ridiculous! There are multiple people in the waiting area writhing in pain, who have been here for hours. All the staff can do is try to comfort them. There are people with IV’s… in the waiting room. That seems crazy. I’ve been here for 4.5 hours so far and there is no end in sight. Last time I came to this ER I ended up waiting for 8 hours before finally seeing a doctor.

Unless you are bleeding out and have literally no other option, just drive somewhere else.

The nurses and staff all need huge raises. The admin needs to all be fired and replaced by people who actually care about patients and staffing of doctors.

The emergency room doctor she was a very nice lady and nurses are very nice and helpful I give them 10 stars I was in June 23 2024 I’m very happy with the doctor and nurses ❤️❤️

Went in on Thursday (6/13/24) morning with severe pain in my abdomen. While checking in the nurse started getting vitals. Waited maybe 10-15 min before receiving an EKG and blood work. Total of 30-40 minutes from entering the ER and I was in a room in the back. They brought everything to my room, more labs, x-ray and sonogram. Out in less than 5 hours with an expectation to call surgery in the morning for a gallbladder removal as it wasn't an emergency. Staff was phenomenal, very kind and caring, all of them. Very happy with the quality of care I received.

Hospital employees were accommodating, registration and X-ray were quick, Radiology Dept provided cd promptly. All of my questions were answered. Excellent overall experience. Will come back for outpatient services like blood work or diagnostic testing. 👍🏼

I called 911 and McCabe came within a few minutes a bumpy ride mind you the emergency staff was pleasant information had to be given more than three times what’s your Social Security number? Really they actually went into my pants to take out my wallet they need to see my medical insurance information more than twice
Routine blood pressure three times oral temperature the doctor finally came in about 45 minutes later and asked me what’s going on? It seemed like there was a lot of people not doing anything in the room that I was put in was filthy the bed was clean But the floors where gross I felt that the care was adequate and I was glad to leave I hope I don’t ever have to come back

I had a great experience with Karen. She was very helpful and kind. Took her time to make me comfortable (I’m scared of needles). She also finds solutions that work and is extremely personable. Will highly recommend going here. The doctors are also patient and take their time understanding your issues.

Got me in and out in a decently quick time frame. Super nice and pleasant!

Went there and was told that I would have to pay $100 (over 3 times my copay) even with insurance due to their “office policy”. And that price was only for the exam, nothing else. They clearly don’t care about helping people. I wouldn’t recommend even trying to go here for anything

As usual I come in greeted by the front desk staff and they are all always lovely and helpful. Dr. Ghadvi both the brother and sister have been my physicians for the last five years. Amazing bed side manner and always take the care to listen and assist as needed. The only downside is that I can’t take them when I move 😩

Everyone is GREAT!!! Front desk is sharp and on top of every single detail regarding my appointment. Nurses and fantastic with their assessments. Doctor is been always super helpful. Every time I come for an appointment they take their time reviewing my health issues at that moment and come up with a solution to get me better. They are the BEST!!!!

Had to take my son to be seen for mental health. Nurse Cannazari was amazing. Truly an amazing woman. She goes above and beyond for her patients. She’s full of energy and positive vibes which is exactly what you need at a hospital especially when your child is not well. She made me feel at ease during a time I felt very nervous for my son. She treated my son with respect and dignity. Ppl usually look at mental health patients like they are crazy and undeserving of kindness or respect but not her. We’ve been to many hospitals and this is the first time he was treated with so much care, love, and respect. But it all came from her. You can tell she loves her profession. She is an example of someone who is truly making a difference. All it takes is one person to show a little kindness to really make an impact and she did that. I’m so thankful to her. THANK YOU. I wish everyone was like her. But if it wasn’t for her I’d probably give 0 stars if that was an option. My son expressed how she’s the kindest nurse he’s ever encountered. My son was there for mental health but suffered what I thought was a seizure. I’m not a doctor but that’s what it looked like. But then again I’ve never seen a seizure in person. I yelled for help, nurses and dr ran in. The dr took one second look at my son and said it wasn’t a seizure and walked right back out. Never showed interest or care to see what it could’ve been if it wasn’t a seizure. I felt very uncomfortable almost like if I shouldn’t have called for help. We were discharged without the doctor ever looking at my son or talking to me. No interest was sparked at all to see what might’ve caused that. My son all of a sudden in the middle of a conversation was taking deep breaths, he became cross eyed, and started shaking for a few seconds. Not normal. But I guess it’s normal and treated like nothing in the western medicine field or at least in that dr’s eyes.Or did he not show interest because my son was there as a psyche patient? This is what I mean by mental health patients being treated differently. They don’t get the same care a normal patient would get. I definitely want to escalate this matter.

I was adamant to go to bayonne medical center due to negative comments but my perspective changed greatly. The staff, nurses and doctors exhibited superb delivery of service and patient care. Dr. Asif, Connie, Raquel, Louise, Zoti, Heather are the best staff to be set as an example in providing the best care. Truly a magnificent group to trust. God Bless to all of you.

Potential appendicitis, they leave you sitting in the ER for OVER 4 HOURS. Refused to allow anyone to speak to a doctor, let alone see one. Only techs and helpers. It seemed like pulling teeth to even get a nurse to speak to me, just trying to push the fact there were other people in the waiting room. Not to mention the looks of horror when I tried to leave. Like, hold me here longer and charge my insurance, but don't actively help a person who's struggling to breathe. Never again.

Some of the ICU staff aren't that great some were wonderful. However my father asked 3x to be removed from the vent, each time she, Ava the Physician Assistant told us it was too soon. My father then said it was time for the vent to come out, she said prepare for his death. A week later he is still with us. I truly believe the vent was never necessary. This hospital may have their financial situation placed well above patient care.

The company they contacted to send him home on hospice took tollgate vs Route 1. Drove exceptionally fast with his phone in his hand the entire time. The icare team lacked compassion, personality, and safety.

The white very old male security officer on staff at 10pm on 4-4 should be fired he is abusive, uncompassionate, and useless.

This hospital had to be closed. There is no service and the staff is very bad. I took my son today and he was sick for more than three hours and no one came to see him. I have never seen this in any hospital.

Fast, friendly, and knowledgeable.
The provider listened to me and did a physical assessment. As a retired health care professional, I appreciated that she was very thorough!

If it didn’t have hospital infront of its name, I would think it was a morgue the way these “doctors” practice. Unprofessional, confused, and slow (in the head as well as physical). There is such a lack of communication, why is there 7 doctors treating one patient and giving all different treatment plans? How is that even possible? We keep receiving incorrect information and them suggesting we figure it out on our own. How ridiculous. They should replace this place with a KFC because that would do more good to the city of bayonne than this hospital..

Mixed emotions about this place. Doctors are good, but trying to get in touch with anyone - even to get an appointment - is impossible. All calls now go to a call center in some other country, so it takes hours if not days to talk with someone that can actually help, and if they call while you're not available, you have to start all over again. Totally frustrating.

I had shoulder surgery about 6 weeks ago and had a very bad reaction to the medication the following day. It took 5 hours of leaving messages and playing phone tag to actually talk with someone... and it wasn't even the doctor. It was the nurse. She had to relay messages to the doctor, who then relayed them back to me. Again, totally frustrating.

I miss the old days when you could call your doctor's office and speak with someone who can actually do something for you. It's all very unfortunate.

As I seen on google. This place advertised they do all kind of testing. But no . I walked in was told to go on the 2nd floor. For all tests. Gets in the chair. Was told the cut off age is 29 for tests. How stupid. False advertising. Discrimination. Nasty attitude. Period.

I have been there a few times now for different reasons. It has been an extremely positive experience every time. All of the staff are kind, knowledgeable, and seem to really care about their patients. 10/10 would recommend.

The doctor is the best he listens and is very patient.

If I could give zero I would. The office staff was extremely rude and short. They told me they would call me back and I followed up no one called. They kept insisting that they called me but they didn’t. Anyway it was an emergency and urgent it needed to happen within a few day. They told me to find someone else.

The whole staff was very nice and caring. They are fast also, won’t need to worry about waiting for hours. They really care about your health, please come here instead; you won’t regret it.

Ray Cooper is an excellent, knowledgeable therapist in the treatment of lymphedema. I would highly recommend him and the service he provides.

RN coordinator Lilia is SO rude. Bed side manner is horrible. She doesn’t allow you to speak while she’s typing in her chart at all. Extremely passive aggressive. I’ve never written a review for a doctors office before that’s how irritating she was.

They’re let customers waiting long time

Horrible experience the front desk is horrible. She was very dismissive and arrogant. The NP was kind but we were in one room then moved to another room after 50min of sitting in that particular room bc the computer wasn’t working. Spent a total of 2 hours and no one was there waiting room was completely empty. I returned a few days later to get a form signed so my kids could get medicine while in school. The front lady told me she couldn’t help me bc the person who was there when my kids were seen was off that day. I asked if any other doctors could assist me bc at the end of the day my sons both received their meds from there she said no, without even consulting with someone else. Her attitude was disgusting very condescending.

Contrary to the description on the official website, they do not welcome "walk-ins".

The lady who answered the phone sounded very irritated and was very rude and unhelpful. If they can't even get basic customer service right then who knows how they treat you in person. I'd look somewhere else.

I took my daughter for the first time for a physical and the check in was so easy and fast. The girls at the front were very nice and courteous. I thought I was going to in there for a couple of hours, but I was in and out in less than an hour. I came back the next day because my son needed a physical too and I had the same experience. I will definitely be back when my kids get sick. Thanks for the awesome experience.

Daughter went here because our doctors were closed and the reviews seemed ok, as a nurse I wouldn’t recommend this place. I LOVE NPs I only see them at our primary, but these ladies need a little more education on urgent care illnesses they might see. They insisted for 15 minutes something ridiculous after 900 times of my daughter saying no, they finally switched pages. Need more education on listening to the patients history and the patient knowing their own bodies. That’s nursing 101, listen to your patient. So then they needed to google what this could be.... really it was a very simple diagnosis I’ve seen it 1000 times in my 21 years. Well at the end she got the antibiotic. Would not recommend and won’t be back!! Don’t see this place being open long!

I have visited this urgent care a few times between my family and I. The ladies at the front desk have always been cordial and thorough. Place is clean and has not been too busy since I've been there. You just have to leave your credit card on file there...
As for the doctors and assistants, they have all been wonderful, helpful, and really concerned about what was going on.

I pre-registered online and scheduled my appointment through the website. When I arrived I was greeted as I walked in the door by the two women at the reception area, and directed to a kiosk to check in. I was asked to review and sign off on a few forms and present my insurance card for verification. The lady I worked with was not overly friendly however she was professional and courteous. I was taken back at my appointment time. The nurse and P.A. I worked with were fantastic. They were very thorough and answered all of my questions. I'm very happy with them and would not hesitate to recommend this place.

Horrible. Came in with a family member for a simple one day procedure at 8am for a 10am appointment, they kept them waiting for 5HRS!! Didn’t get seen and was stuck in a waiting room all that time and given excuses. Then was told procedure would be 10min - was a simple thing - and 3hrs later we’re still here. They’re not that attentive. On top of that while in the waiting room saw a huge roach traveling behind the seats. Go to a different place if you can.
