Absolutely dreadful!!!! Made me wait 10 hours as if was normal! X-ray tech refused to give me water! The let an assault happen in the restroom and didn’t know apples from oranges when it was time to apprehend the suspects!!! Do not go to this ER you will regret it!!!! The floor was littered with garbage , filthy!!!! Such a disappointment!!!!!
You will literally die in the ER lobby before you’re seen. They stopped the re-opening of Big Charity, destroyed an entire neighborhood to build this beautiful hospital, just for subpar service. Checked in at 6pm, left at 11pm after not being seen is unacceptable. I repeat YOU WILL DIE in the lobby before being seen. In an emergency Tulane is right down the street, Ochsner Baptist is 10 minutes away. Please save yourself the trouble. AGAIN YOU WILL DIE IN THE LOBBY BEFORE YOU ARE SEEN.
Please whatever you do go somewhere else 😩 I’ve been at this hospital with my friend who has been having chest pains for 7 hours in the emergency room. The security guards act as if you’re visiting someone who’s in jail. They pat you down more than tsa. They have a metal detector. Its so bad I wouldn’t recommend anyone to go here.
Wonderful and accommodating staff. I'm so glad I chose this facility for my mother. She was transferred here from the hospital and has been receiving excellent care since. They have a very nice community, special events for each season (with live music!) and is overall a nice and clean environment. The administrative staff always keep me informed of her care and let me know when something is needed on my end in a timely fashion.
For some reason my daughter was brought here instead of Children’s Hospital for her accident and had to have surgery. Spending TWO days in the emergency room with no food and no answer to when they would do surgery we got to a room. She was taken to surgery at 9:30pm. Because “visiting” hours end at 8 my husband could not see our daughter. Upon asking about a transfer SEVERAL times to Children’s Hospital to 11 different people I was told I have to speak to someone else and I am being giving the run around. Fast forward to 1:30am when a surgical staff came into my daughter’s room and said he was coming to talk to me about my daughter going to surgery. My daughter had already HAD surgery. He apologized and said have a good night. Online information is not correct and I cannot wait for my attorney to come this morning hoping he will be able to get a transfer

I am a current patient that needed medication refilled. I called multiple times during office hours. They do not pick up the phone. I have left messages. They do not return messages. I eventually found a back door email and they told me to message another email address. They didn't respond. I followed up several times. They said I'd need to talk to the receptionist. The same receptionist I tried calling in the first place, that doesn't pick up the phone.

If they're your only choice, then good luck to you.
The resident, Michael Reep, who saw me, touched me without my consent and nobody else in the room.
Then when he got his supervisor, that doc told me in 30 seconds he didn't believe my diagnoses and wanted to change my entire medication regime to guess and check using my body and life.
When I expressed concern, the resident condescendingly stated, "Have you been to medical school?" As if I haven't been sick for as long as he's been alive.

The security guard, Gol, followed me out of the building mocking my disability, and interrupting my phone conversation with an advocate constantly. He intentionally attempted to escalate me.

Their patient experience director does not know the term 'gaslighting,' did not listen to my report entirely before submitting it, did not include the security guard abuse, and did not name the residents behavior as sexual assault, when touching someone without consent is that. She instead told me I was being abusive because I told her it was inexcusable for her to ignore me and not submit my report.

2 weeks later I received a letter stating their staff is knowledgeable. Nothing else. No investigation. No fixing the incomplete report. And no call back when I called them and told them all of this.

This hospital will abuse you and they do not care. They do not take abuse seriously, and, their staff intentionally abuses you and then tries to use your response against you like a classic bait and switch domestic violence situation.

This is "medical care" at UMC. They should be shut down.

Yes please come here. They have a great reputation of being a bunch of over privileged children. Oh they will hang up on you when you hurt their feelings. Never met the staff because they can’t keep time. Also no security or even a security. 🙌

Altium has had some growing pains in the last couple of years, and there were a couple times when the ball was dropped. However, the errors were always addressed, and we have continued our work with them. If YOU are ready to make changes in your life, and willing to put in the work, you will absolutely thrive here. If you are working with Altium to "jump through hoops" you might not benefit as much. If you have had issues with mistaken appointments or billing issues in the past--we did too. This stuff has been addressed and taken care of. I think the practice grew too quickly and there were some things that fell through the cracks for a time. Give this place a try. They all care and are great people who want to help others.
So it will be 7 years on September 6, 2023 since I was a patient at this so-called hospital. I was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer in my spine. The abuse and trauma I went through with many medical teams was horrific and it constantly stays with me every day. All the abuse started after I spoke with patient relations, because interns were waking me up 25+ times a day. I pay for my care, NOT for their credit hours. The patient relations team told me that I did not have to deal with the interns. They said that I could just deal with the professional doctors. Once I started turning away the interns everyone turned against me and treated with tremendous disrespect and emotional abuse. This greatly affected my care emotionally and physically. I could share stories you would NOT believe! I'm MUCH less afraid of dying than I am of ending up at this hospital again. I'm calling their team today to make sure I don't receive ANY future treatment from this facility. The reviews show me that this hospital has not changed.
Extremely friendly and welcoming staff. A friend of my family lives here and he is super happy. The place is clean, they have a wide range of amenities and facilities, and the views are stunning. I also tried their lunch and it was of good quality. They also have regular events and social activities.
If you have an emergency, DO NOT COME HERE!
We waited over 10 hrs to be seen by a nurse, then waited another 2 hrs to be seen by a doctor. The front desk never gave us information about how long it was going to take even after asking several times, we waited along side of people that had broken legs, children with allergies, and no they didn't care. There was a man that was around 90 years old, and they still wouldn't care, there was a child crying because she was so cold, l helped her mom by asking if they could please give her a blanket, they told me no. It’s extremely sad to see that this hospital was ranked a level 1 trauma center. Its horrible how they treated all of us, l felt like l wasn't worth anything.
Silver Lakes has given our family a Silver lining. They have helped guide us and help us with our mom. They are kind, compassionate and incredible humans. It is a hidden gem. I am so grateful for the staff there - all of them. They all smile.. :)

If you are going there for any kind of individual help don't count in it. When I signed up here they knew what my situation was and said it would be a great fit, but the only thing holding me back from getting my kid into the home was a simple letter stating I'm in IOP 2.1 level of care. I was supposed to be working through the trauma of this situation instead of it getting bigger because they don't have the time. Groups are great though.

Reviewing the recent Google reviews, sounds like a change needs to be made ASAP! I have been a loyal patient here for almost a year. Lindsy, the person who is "in charge" but has no MD credentials is the worst person to deal with. I called to request a same day appointment with my therapist, and there was no availability, which is understandable. I told Lindsey I would have to go see a different doctor that day, which I did. I NEVER said I wanted to cancel my appointment or stop seeing my therapist. I just needed help that day. If everyone is booked, I completely understand.

Lindsy assumed that I didn't want to continue being a patient and discharged a loyal, long client that day, taking my words completely out of context. I tried to address my grievances with Jessie and Scott, requesting multiple times that I need my medications refilled, and was discharged due to a total breakdown of communication on Lindsy's end. I ended up going 5 days straight without critical medications for my health. I was told by Lindsy to go to the ER if I needed them so bad. Scott, the director, should have respected to my my email request, stepped in, and saved me hundreds of dollars by helping me avoid the ER, retaining me as a patient in the process.

Having a person who can make these type of decisions willy-nilly literally put my life and career at risk. Completely unacceptable. I would still be a patient if my voice was heard, howeveri was told to kick rocks and deal with it. I was forced to start over, and find a new doctor.

Lindsy needs additional training on how to deal with patients, and there should be an avenue to address grievances.

I suggest to avoid these people. There are many other options available, so don't settle with sub par services.
Most of the nurses on the stroke unit are extremely rude and inconsiderate. There’s one or two that are great. Takes hours to get your medicines that you request. When pressing the call light and them responding back to us is like they’re not even professionals. Do not leave your loved ones by themselves if they can’t speak up. They will be mistreated. The trauma icu nurse Jared was so excellent to my mother in law. Dee on the stroke unit also went above and beyond her duties. The one star is for the treatment they gave my mother in law on the stroke unit. This whole place needs to be shut down. I know I’m not the only one who complained. I met someone in the cafeteria whose husband was in here that got treated the same way. These people who come here are not animals and shouldn’t be treated like one.

If you like waiting on hold for questions you need answered, not being responded to by email for your prescription refills, and being blatantly disregarded in care because of your work schedule; this is the mental health care facility for you. No one answers the phone, and when they do you’re immediately put on hold. I have to take time off work (pre schedule a minimum of 2 weeks in advance) in order to go to appointments here, because of their operating hours. So when the receptionist who never seems to hear the phone ring does answer and schedule me, it would be so awesome if they scheduled me with the CORRECT person; so I don’t have to miss my appointment, miss prescription refills and go through the struggle of trying to find more time off work while seeing when Altium is even available. This place gets more insane by the day. If there is any way to see a different doctor or therapist, please save yourself and go to any mental health facility that does care about people’s mental health.

If you need physical therapy and are in or near Atlanta, Atlanta PT is the place to go. Dr. Tony Fox is a masterful practitioner of the art and will competently address your needs. I reached out to him for two different issues several years apart and he was able to solve both through not only the physical therapy he provided but also the important knowledge he communicated with regards to future prevention, tailored to my specific case. I'm lucky to have found such an amazing physical therapist!
I was there solely for short term physical therapy. I volunteered because of a wonderful RN at RUMC where I had the hip replacement surgery. I mentioned it to a good friend of mine that I was going to choose a place and she called a friend/co worker whom is in admissions for Staten Island care center. Within minutes Ana appeared in my hospital room on a holiday weekend coming and got the ball rolling and bam I was transported next day to facilty. She was easy to talk and very professional and made sure I was well taken care of. She even gave me her cell number and insisted I call anytime any day if I needed anything. She got me dunkin coffee and dinner a couple times. If I had a problem she did everything to solve it. I adore her and many many of the staff 5th floor morning crew. Tanya, Tammy, Sheldon, Katina, and so many more that I can't remember their names. And the physical therapy department was outstanding! Thank to Eddie, Junbin, and Stella. Awesomeness 🙌 🙌
I'm the best Laundry Personnel in the facility. Everyone loves me because I don't have that rule of no one can't come for chux after 3:30PM!
Sad to say that like many such facilities I hear about on my job, I have now experienced it for myself. Imagine laying in your own shut for 3 hours, with a family member asking for aide and none coming. Shift change, not my patient, wait til after dinner service. As soon as I'm out of here- if I survive, I will file a formal complaint. And I will never doubt a client who shares similar stories. Fyi- this issue with aides unwilling to do their job cleaning me up and waiting 2 hours has happened several times in the 7 days I've been here. Very sad.

My husband was admitted on April 20, 2023 for rehab while battling Metastatic Prostate Cancer. Being in a place like this is an adjustment, both for the patient and family members. The staff runs around tirelessly making sure everyone is taken care of and every staff member in that building is friendly and helpful. But I have to point out some individuals on the 4th floor that were a golden bunch and they made my husbands stay much more comfortable. Godfrey, just as his name is a God sent soul! This man is the true definition of care taker, I am forever grateful of how you took care of my husband, I will never forget all that you did for him. Riccardo and Ebery were amazing in checking on him making sure he took his meds and caring for him. Irene and Francine, you two rock that floor! You moved mountains in taking care of Stewart up till the very end you both were there. I will never forget this journey.
As for the facility, when people complain about smelling and being dirty, it’s a facility that houses many residents and in my opinion they do the very best to keep it clean. The residents rooms are very clean and they are remolding. The 4th and 5th floors are beautiful! The others will follow.
The most important part of it is care, compassion and empathy and SICC meets those needs.
Thank you for making the most difficult time smoother for Stewart and his family.

I loved there therapist but he left and I couldn't afford 500 a time from 5.00 a time. Beware of there billing department. I am now getting a bill from collections. Which is not fair I paid every time. I'm looking for a good therapist if anyone can refer me to one in the west jordan area

I was referred here after leaving the hospital inpatient. I had my first "intake" appointment with Erin. After my appointment I felt hopeful in the plan we had set up. She told me she had to review it with her supervisor and would call me that afternoon. After hearing nothing for over a week I tried to call to check in. Still no response and no calls.
This company clearly does not care for you or your desire to try to get better.
Clearly they were only collecting my insurance money and nothing else.
Stay away. 😞

Helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly! I visited for help with a neck injury sustained in a car collision. After working with Tony, I left feeling better physically and better informed about how to continue improving
Facility was neat and clean. All of my concerns were addressed. The staff was accommodating. I was satisfied by knowing that my family member would be cared for.
Well my Bestie, Soul Sister is there for long term care & she is well taken care of. The staff is very friendly & helpful to her & to me when I visit. Even staff that I don't have to interact with is very friendly & go out of their way to make sure I'm alright & of I need help... The building is very clean, the restrooms are clean as well as the grounds! I don't drive so I don't really know about parking but I know I seen parking for everyone, I suppose. Anyhow the staff is knowledgeable & friendly, willing to help visitors & they show respect to the patients as well as the visitors! The most important thing to me is that's the patients care & there are no complaints there & believe me if there were a problem my sister would be raising cane & would let all of her loved one know right away!!
With much RESPECT & HIGH REGARDS, Sincerely Laura Buonasera...
The gentleman at the front security desk is always so kind and polite. He is always so friendly with my daughter and always makes us feel welcome. Also, one of the nurses, Barbara is wonderful. She is always a great help and a pleasure to speak with

Atlanta PT is truly a 5star establishment from the front office staff to the physical therapist. Pam and the other receptionist at the front are all so kind, and they always great you with a smile. They work hard to make sure patients can be seen within a reasonable time frame and are very patient. I have been seeing Tony fox for chronic ankle instability an inflammation, and my experience has been excellent! Tony has great bedside manner and is very knowledgable, but what I like most is that he works with you one on one and teaches you things you can do at home for maintenance. If you're looking for a PT that will work hard to help you heal and get stronger, I highly recommend Atlanta PT.
Both of my parents have had to rehabilitate at Staten Island Care Center and I have to say the therapy here is top notch. They got my parents back into shape in no time. I went home easy everyday knowing my parents were going to be taken care of. The staff was more than willing to address any concerns I had. Cheryl the charge nurse from the 5th floor is the best ever!!

I have been going to Atlanta PT for 3 1/2 years for a chronic condition. They have the best staff in the PT business. Front office people are friendly and helpful. My physical therapist, Tony Fox, is very knowledgeable and great at his craft. Tony is very skilled in dry needling; so much so, he teaches around the country and for good reason. I've had very skilled dry needling at Atlanta PT since starting in October 2018, Tony, is the best. He has the ability to find and needle small muscles and scar tissue around the knee/hip/back to help relieve my symptoms. I went without an ACL from 1987 to 2019 which caused chronic compensation - from leg up to my back. I have been to massage therapists, chiropractors and other PT companies. Until I received the one-on-one treatment from the physical therapists at Atlanta PT, I was unable to receive any lasting relief. I am able to keep working and even doing a home/gym exercise program. Tony Fox is fantastic. I am able to do most activities normally because of his dry needling skills. I have to go in periodically for relief of my chronic condition. I am afraid to think about where I would be if it weren't for Tony. Thanks for all your help Tony and Atlanta PT! The best PT I've ever been to in my 62 years.

Dr. Tony Fox has been a lifesaver for me. After hip surgery over a decade ago, I've had one related issue after another with my hip and then my back. I've bounced from physical therapist to physical therapist and tried a dozen different therapy and pain techniques. Finding Tony at Atlanta PT has been a game changer in my recovery. He is an active listener and a problem solver, looking at the entirety of what's going on while also attentive to every small detail of the pain and functionality issues. He's highly adaptive in his approach - this isn't the experience where you lie on a table repeating the same exercises week after week. Tony assesses your status at each appointment, listens to your goal, and supports you in working to diminish pain and strengthen your body. He is extremely knowledgeable and skilled at what he does, and has a patient and caring bedside manner. I am eternally grateful to him for educating me about my body and my pain...about how to strengthen my hip and my back. He didn't just treat me - he gave me the tools to and knowledge to keep my body strong and healthy. If you're looking for an individualized therapy experience at a treatment center with a warm and caring staff across the board, make an appointment now at Atlanta PT!
My Uncle was in here after being in the ICU. He was sent here for rehabilitation and physical therapy. Unable to use his arms and legs. They sat his food in front of him for hours and didn’t feed him. He fell and they left him on the floor for God only knows how long. My cousin heard them talking rude to my uncle when she was on the phone with him. They also refused to give him his medicine. Then when my mother and 97 year old grandma went up there and signed him out because he wasn’t getting cared for. The employees stood in the door way and watched them struggle with him while laughing at them. One employee came outside to tell him “that’s what we told you about leaving” and then accuses my mother of trying to steal their wheelchair (it was our personal wheelchair we were using). This place needs to be shut down. It’s slack!

Beware of a switch and bait, which we recently experienced with this facility. The lack of responsiveness of their sales team also reflects a noted absence of client service and professionalism.
I must say I was ALWAYS concerned with small independently owned facilities because there is always the feeling that the bigger facilities may have better protocols in place to help its patients/ residents.
Well after being in the hospital system too long I came to Silver lake with my legs being an absolute MESS…. Well I owe Silver Lake a great deal of thanks for reversing what surely would have led to me losing both of my legs !!! How much can you owe/thank a facility that saves your legs? Well I can’t sleep at night without showing my appreciation to Brian the 4th floor night nurse or Anthony the gentle giant from the 1st floor or Jeanie the evening nurse that would be tasked with silencing us long enough to get to bed lol…… I also owe a great deal of thanks to Ms Tina Torricelli that put up with my anxiety driven outbursts. God bless you all and if Silver Lake can take care of ME they can take care of ANYBODY…… Siva Kumar wasn’t my nurse but is an incredible human being …… Adrianna Thompson, Amanda McGuinnes , Jenie Mirable that is the fiestiest sweet woman on the planet and a special thanks to Nasat Awad - the Saturday supervisor that ALWAYS FIXES EVERYTHING….. and of course Michelle that always managed to keep me fed….. Romeo in the kitchen that was a great guy that took pride in the food he cooked for everyone.
*** Silver Lake has quite possibly the VERY BEST Rehabilitation facility of ANY facility in NY and blows away Northwell’s flagship facility at Glen Cove despite the Ego Maniac directors attitude. There is nothing worse than someone compromising a persons progress due to their inability to look past their tyrannical personality. Despite this if you have a loved one you want to see get the best rehabilitation bring them to Silver Lake. Thank you-Lambros. I wanted to post some pictures but something is wrong with google
When you choose a retirement home, you check to see if they have skilled nursing, but you don’t really see until you need it. This winter and spring my partner had two serious falls, causing fractures with hospitalizations and weeks of skilled nursing. The care at Parkshore was wonderful. The quality of staff, the kindness and care couldn’t have been better and he was restored to good health. During the weeks he was there, I observed and became acquainted with many of the residents there. Some were receiving end of life care and others rehabilitation. Everyone was treated with such kindness and dignity. We will always be grateful for our experience.

Great staff!!!
I am a current employee and they do great what others places fail to capture on. and everyone here loves the place. The residents are always cheerful
My aunt arrived at Lake City as a diabetic amputee with a G-Tube. My aunt's sister had been making regular trips to check on her and what she discovered was beyond heartbreaking. There are literally NO WORDS that can truly describe what happened to her while she was there. My aunt was being severely neglected. They were not brushing her teeth; there was visible plaque build-up. They were not washing her hair; her pillowcase was covered in sebum. She had bruises on her body in the shape of hand prints and had previously told her sister that they were hurting her. Her sister noticed that she was losing weight & found out that they were cutting her meals down to three Glucerna shakes when she was supposed to have four daily. They were also inappropriately "watering down" the few shakes she was being given, so she was always hungry. She would beg for milk at night and they would refuse to give her any stating that "she wasn't allowed to have it" when that was not at all true because the main ingredient in her shakes is MILK protein concentrate. We asked several times what her weight was when she first got there versus what it was at that time but they refused to disclose that information. My aunt was also catheterized. During a visit her sister noticed streaking around her abdomen which she was later told was a sign of an infection. Her sister checked the catheter and discovered visible "debris." We hired someone we trusted to go to Lake City to help take care of her but the facility quickly stopped that from happening stating that it was "their job." The sweet lady we hired was forbidden to return (no witnesses?). They were also supposed to be propping her arm up to keep it in the correct position & they weren't doing that either. As a result, her arm had become "crooked" at the wrist causing her hand to twist away from her body like a stroke or cerebral palsy patient. Her arm didn't look like that when she first got to Lake City. Sadly, she was also consistently being denied adequate pain management medication. WORST of all - when my aunt arrived at Lake City, she had two FLAT bedsores that were on the mend. One day during a visit, her sister smelled something putrid, just like a bowel movement. Her sister checked her diaper & it was empty. It turned out that my aunt's once FLAT, healing bedsores had degraded to STAGE 4 TUNNELING bedsores and the odor that my aunt's sister noticed was because her bandages had not been changed in THREE DAYS! Pictures were taken as evidence. Next, everything was brought to the "director's" attention who, of course, did absolutely NOTHING about it. In fact, Lake City's "cover-up" for the heinous things my aunt was reporting was to say that she was suffering from dementia, which is absolutely not true. How low can you go? After that, we filed a complaint with the appropriate government agency and worked toward getting her moved. We knew that if we didn't get her out of Lake City, she would have died there. Wouldn't you think that at some point Lake City would have notified the family of her deteriorating, life-threatening condition and advised that she seek emergency care elsewhere immediately?! Nope. Nobody ever said a word. Instead, they left her there to rot. My aunt was finally relocated yesterday to a nearby hospital where an emergency cleaning was performed on her bedsores. She lost so much blood during the procedure that she had to have a transfusion. That was the most recent update from my aunt's sister. To treat helpless people this way is beyond inhumane, well beyond cruel. My aunt is a human being with feelings. Day after day Lake City was collecting her money while my precious aunt lay there suffering purposely at their hand. Can you imagine how she must've felt especially late at night? Lonesome, scared, sad, hungry and hurting? It's enough to make you sick to your core. Thank God for her sister who was the only one located close enough to her to be able to visit her regularly. PLEASE take my advice and look elsewhere. Lake City is dangerous and has zero regard for human life.
After a disastrous stay at another facility, I really appreciate the attention and care here at Silver Lake. Most staff are very dedicated and attentive making this place a very healing atmosphere for short term rehab. Right now, most facilities, including hospitals are suffering the results of Covid, but Silver Lake is, hands down, better than the other facilities I’ve been in.
When I walked in the first day, all I could smell was urine! The person I was there to see wasn’t able to get out of bed unassisted and they didn’t have a bedpan!! They put a “diaper “ on her and told her to use the bathroom in the diaper!!😡 Really!! When we asked if I could go buy a bedpan myself, we were told to wait and let her check because they were supposed to have went to Florence “yesterday “ She came back with a plastic bedpan!
With that said, the speech therapist “Wendy” and Physical Therapist “Steve” were very nice and seemed to care about the patients as well as their family members.
You still don’t want your family members here

My family member has not had an easy road to sobriety. Lakeside Milam has gone so far above and beyond in helping him to get on the right track. They have taught me so much too. What they teach the families helps out in every day life situations. I never realized how hard going through rehab was for a person. I have more love and respect for my brother than ever before. I have so much respect and appreciation to Lakeside Milam for helping us both get on the right track. This place has been a literal life saver for us. Thank you all! We will be forever in your debt.

The team at Milam are some of the best you can ask for. My husband entered intensive outpatient treatment with them a year ago and their support of both of us has been invaluable. They care deeply about treating the whole family and make a point to get to know the patient and their family members. I learned so much from the Milam team about the right way to support his recovery while also learning to put myself first. My husband is now one year sober and we are both doing exceptionally well. I thank the entire team at Milam every single day for what they’ve helped us through. If you’re looking for help, there’s no other place in the PNWF I’d recommend.
They have been doing a phenomenal job during COVID-19. Has stayed open all days except for one day (not for COVID, but for air condition problem). Impressed how they managed to have so many risks under control and delivered much needed service through the challenging times.

Atlanta PT is an excellent physical therapy office. Dr. Laura Giles is wonderful. I've learned lots of good information, been given beneficial exercises and made great progress. The office is clean and pleasant and the staff is very nice and helpful.
I can tell a HUGE difference since new management took over this year. They have made big upgrades to the facility and it seems that the employees truly care about the residents and providing them with the best possible care. It has been a rough couple of months but the staff goes above and beyond in making it the best atmosphere for my loved one. Highly recommend this facility!!
Over the years I've seen many changes at this facility. The staff members and the Social worker are amazing in their field of work. Even though covid played a major part on changes all over the world, this facility keeps working around the clock making sure that the people are being tended to properly and accordingly.
This place is HORRIBLE. Except a select few the nurses are RUDE. They don't answer the phone ever! Communication is the worst at this place. Please do not send your loved ones here. I hate that my mom ever had to come to this TRASH facility. My mom left the facility with bruises on her body and a swollen ankle that was never reported to me. Please please don't take your family here.
Horrible communication. We’ve called several times, 9 out of 10 times no one even bothers to answer. If they do answer, you’re placed on hold or hung up on. We waited 30 minutes on hold to speak to our Papa to make sure he was doing okay because he’s been in and out of the hospital. We can not visit and rely on phone communication to stay in the loop, they do not care about any of this. Makes you wonder if they’re even doing their jobs taking care of our loved ones when they can’t even manage a phone...
No one answers the phone. It's extremely difficult to get in touch with anyone when they do answer. I'm constantly being put on hold, transferred to someone else (that doesn't answer), or disconnected. The resident line is even worse. With covid, communication is even more important than ever and they have fallen short.
My great grandmother, grandmother and great aunt all spent many years here. Lovely place. The residents and very nice as well as the staff.
We moved to Parkshore in October. We have found every service they offer to be first class. It was like moving to a resort, in spite of the restrictions caused by Covid. They have kept us safe, with not a single case, and they arranged for us to be the first to be vaccinated. When I had to miss my second shot, they quickly got me scheduled for it. The staff are warm and friendly, anticipating every need.

The facilities have recently been updated to a luxury level. Coming here was one of our best decisions ever.

I had back fusion surgery and went to Atlanta PT for some recovery assistance. I started off with Seth and then transferred to Samantha because Seth left the practice. I found both therapists to be highly professional and knowledgeable with how to deal with my recovery. The one on one treatments are really focused on you as opposed to the PT factory companies I previously tried.

You know your in a good place upon entering because of the warm greetings the reception staff (Shirley) always provides.
I work in another nursing community in Seattle and we have had some of our residents go to Bayview for skilled nursing/rehab. Their team is so thorough and work very hard to ensure they maintain continuity of care. Our residents come back to us better than they left with nothing but positive things to say about their stay at Bayview. Thank you to the team there!
Lovely community and the views from top floor public gathering areas (inside and out) are to die for. I love that there is a preschool on site too; lucky kids to have so many grandparents and lucky residents to have little kids to interact with. Great meals, just a very nice place.
I want to tell ya these folks will bend over backwards to get you the treatment you need, well past most places where when it hit 5 they are one foot out the door and they will fight for ways to help you, even staying several hours over to make sure they can get your services covered. I can say these folks work from the heart and I cannot recommend them more highly
Silver Lake is great place that is able to make miracles. My mom was Silver Lake patient for recovery after broken hip surgery. We we impressed by great caring personnel in Rehab Center. The nurses were very knowledgeable, caring, responsible, Administrative personnel was professional and ready to help. Special thanks to Physical Therapy Department who is really able to make miracles and my mom left the facility walking by herself. Thank you very much!
Literally never work here. This place treats their staff awfully and has taken over a month to send my final chec . HR is made up of a bunch of people who have no idea what they're doing and has refused to get back to me even though I have called just about every day for the money that I have worked for. They are unorganized and should not be considered a reputable business.
My great grandmother stayed here for a few years and the staff was always warm, accommodating and friendly. My great gram is not fluent in English but was always tried to be understood by staff and when she was not a translator was always provided. Silver lake is a place where the staff becomes like family to the patient. My family member was always treated with respect and love and even when she went home she would always wonder how everyone at silver lake was getting along.
If a senior living space is where you or a family member needs to be I would recommend this one. The food is absolutely fantastic! And there's a huge variety in the area just a couple blocks away if eating in doesn't suit you.
The view from the top is gorgeous and only getting better with the renovations! Plus there will be an added pool for extra exercise or fun.
In a balanced neighborhood with one bus line straight down town a block away from a children's park and a beach. Plus a 4-5 minutes drive to at least two wildlife reserves and parks that and quite nice to walk around.
The staff in 3B are the most caring people. Pam in recreation is amazing. All nursing homes are the same. Silver Lake has caring, friendly staff. Since it is small you can get to know everybody. None of the day rooms across the five boroughs are fun to be in but in SL they will take them outside or to recreation. It isnt the most gorgeous but the care is great.
My parents waited 4 years to become residents at Parkshore. It was definitely worth the wait. Michelle and Janis made the transition smooth and easy. They were attentive to my family's many questions and patient with our requests. Nothing was overlooked.

It is never easy to move, let alone, downsize and move to a different state. Moving to Parkshore was about as seamless a transition as my parents could have made. They have only been living at Parkshore for a little over a month, but it seems as if they have been there for years. The community is welcoming and inclusive. There isn't an evening that they aren't invited to join in some activity by other residents.

Upon returning from using the workout facility, my dad was excited to report that he met a woman who is 114 years old! He said it was most definitely the right choice to move to Parkshore as they really must take care of their residents.

They have on multiple occasions mentioned how it was definitely the right move for them. They are so happy to be a part of this wonderful community.
I'm a paraplegic and was sent to Parkshore for wound care and have been here for over two months and have been laying in bed for all that time with no physical exercise. I have now lost all the strength in my upper body and am no longer able to transfer by myself and with out physical therapy I will never be able to be independent and take care of myself like I could before coming into this place. They are not able to provide adequate care for paraplegic in this facility and don't seam to care.

Still here after 5 months and PT has not really improved and I just heard they fired the best wound care nurse on the floor, the way it is going I may be here for 2 more months. I do not recommend this place for paraplegic or quadriplegic.
I'm delighted to write a review for Parkshore, one of our senior living design clients at Studio 65. For over three years and counting, we have supported Parkshore primarily in the renovation of their independent living apartments, including new palette development, collaborative process creation, and interior design of the units, from concept to construction to move-in. While the staff has changed over the years, one element that has remained remarkably consistent, is Parkshore's steadfast commitment to the community and its residents while undertaking the incredible change and chaos that comes with a full building renovation. As an interior designer, I understand first-hand the challenges a community undertakes in navigating and managing a complex vision for transformation that serves to meet both current resident and community needs, as well as anticipated needs over the decades to come. It's not easy to bridge or forecast all needs; however, in my experience with Parkshore, I have seen how they work conscientiously to include all stakeholders, including residents, leadership, staff, board, and the community at large to best assess what is desired and needed, and inform, advise, guide and shape the ongoing vision of Parkshore...together. That's the true meaning of community. And I find this remarkable and worth commending. As a team member by extension, working with the development, sales, and facility teams, I deeply appreciate their transparency, integrity, respect, and ongoing collaborative spirit. It's rewarding to work with such a cohesive staff, unified in vision and character. I consider myself very fortunate to have the opportunity to work with Parkshore, and to have been invited into their process and vision-making. And it's especially wonderful to be met with hugs and kudos by new residents at the completion of their apartment remodel. I run into those residents every now and then when I'm on site...always warmly welcomed with an opportunity to catch up on their new life at Parkshore, ever grateful. It's experiences like this that confirm we're contributing to something special. Thank you, Parkshore!

What is it that residents like so much about Judson Park? Is it the unique combination of residents—retired college professors, teachers, nurses, long time Clevelanders and newcomers to Cleveland? Is it the proximity to University Circle and downtown Cleveland?

The special quality for me is the Ambler Heights Neighborhood which includes Denton, Harcourt, Elandon, Devonshire and Chestnut Hills. The neighborhood was designed so that it could not become a cut-through between Cedar and North Park. And the secret has been well kept. Traffic is minimal, making the streets tranquil.

I enjoy trying to identify trees, shrubs and flowers. My new neighborhood is heavenly for that exercise because of its diversity. Not only can one find the usual maples and oaks, but our streets have Katsura, shadbush, gingko and Weeping beech trees. It keeps one looking up lot and going back to reference books. In April, the trees are in bloom and are beautiful as ever. This neighborhood is what makes Judson Park a great place to live.

Remembering my mother on her birthday and the wonderful care she received at Judson
Had my elderly mother here for medical rehab after a hospital stay, for nearly a month. Nursing staff didn’t seem to care, and was unresponsive when not absent entirely. Terrible. However OT and PT were great. A new nursing manager seemed promising but not sure how it’s gone since then (Feb 2018). I’d never send her there again.
This is an August 30, 2018 update to my post. I am now Past President of the Parkshore Resident Association. Progress on ALL fronts here continue at full speed. The 37-million dollar repositioning project has mostly moved to the exterior of the building. The excavation work required for the new pool has been challenging but the hard, loud, portion of it should soon be completed. A new Executive Director, Annika DiNovi, has taken the leadership role and has been widely accepted by staff and residents alike. She’s, in a word, outstanding! Her predecessor is now the Executive Director at another Transforming Age facility on Vashon island. By all accounts he is doing well in his new environment. I personally wish him the best.

Bill Wertz

I am the current Parkshore 2017-2018 Resident Association President. My wife and I moved into Parkshore almost 3 years ago. I am writing this review to present some of the things that are special about Parkshore. Let me start by sharing that Parkshore is not quite 1/2 way through a 37-million dollar repositioning project. Parkshore had over 20 vacant apartments not long ago. Today the "wait list" is well north of 300. The physical location of this CCRC is outstanding and is directly on the shore of Lake Washington in the highly desired Seattle neighborhood of Madison Park. For many years that was all it took to attract retirees to choose Parkshore as their home. Location-location-location only goes so far and Parkshore relied on this for far too many years. The massive repositioning project will restore the building to be one of, if not THE, premiere locations with all the amenities necessary to be competitive...anywhere! Living through dozens of workers inside and outside the building for up to 2 years, day in and day out, is difficult for both residents and staff and, in my opinion, contributes to the angst being shared in Google reviews. The Executive Director, Mike Schwartz, isn't perfect and has made mistakes. Can any of us say we're perfect and have never made mistakes? I certainly can't! I've had the opportunity, first as Vice President when Mike was brand new in his position, and again this past year as President, to work with him directly. Our interactions have, at times, been challenging. That said, and again working with him directly over almost 2 years, I've personally witnessed a positive change in his approach to his job and how he interacts with residents and staff. Yes...there have been several key Director changes under his leadership. No, again in my opinion, they're not all on him. For example the Marketing Director, Don Warfield, left to fill a similar role at Transforming Age co-owned Skyline. Why? He will be the key person driving new residents to the new Skyline Tower that is proposed to be built next to the current Skyline campus. One Business Director left to join the prior Parkshore Executive Director at another CCRC in the Seattle area.
Here's my bottom line on Parkshore. It's location is second to none and, once completed, the 37-million dollar repositioning project will be outstanding. The overall staff, despite many changes, continues to be great. Many staff members are considered by residents to be a trusted friend.
Why did I only assign 4 stars to this review? Lots of work remains to get that 5th star. The many changes at Parkshore will, over the long haul, be net positive. It will, at the end, get that 5th star!
Pamela Love is not experienced enough to enrich the lives of the Residents as the Resident Services Director. Her activities seem more suited for school aged children not older educated adults. She does not appear to have any management experience either. It is so sad they let go a life enrichment director who had been at the community for 20 years. The residents loved and respected her. Mike Schwartz Should care more about the residents and what is best for them. Hopefully they will get rid of security at the front desk during the day shift since they lost their legal war against some Parkshore residents. Stupid show of force, really in a retirement community?? It was a dumb decision to start with. Just throwing more of the residents money away. Mike Schwartz will continue to make poor decisions on behalf of Parkshore residents and they will continue to suffer. Mike is arrogant and only pretends to care about the Residents when corporate is around but the comments he makes behind the scenes are shocking and saddens me that those staff who cared were run off, unable to tolerate the terrible culture there. I have had encounters with rude staff at Parkshore including Kiely Erwin, Janis Smith, Michelle Pellecer and Ric Miranda. When a complaint of bullying was made against Mike that was reported to him, he did nothing, he is HR, whom else should we report this to? There are much better CCRC out there and you should definitely keep looking if you truly care about your loved ones. Certainly do not work there if you would prefer a toxic free work environment.
I have a loved one here and its only out of convenience that he is at this facility. A few complaints are the rude staff i witnessed yelling at a patient he was a short African man & the patient was a black male he was extremely rude... They never change my loved one diapers & they dont keep him clean he smells & i have to clean him myself. He has his nurse button on for hours before he gets his urinal emptied & its spilled all in his bed
Dont let your loved one come here!!!!

My mother moved to Judson Park a few years ago from her home in Cleveland Heights, and what a wonderful experience it has been! For my mom, who had been widowed for 10 years, it’s been a chance to meet new people, and to have new companions to dine with at the Community Table each evening. It’s been a chance to enjoy the convivial happy hours at the end of each week, and to take in a piano recital or art lecture. Always a fiercely private person, the staff at Judson has been kind and patient as she has become acclimated to her new surroundings, down to the tiniest details that have made such a big difference to her.
For my sister and me, it’s meant knowing that she is safe and not alone anymore. We know she access to medical care and other services she just couldn’t get when she was in her home. It means that we can drop by for a chat and spend time with her in her apartment, rather than picking up her vacuum cleaner and doing chores around her house when it became too much for her.
Now, as she has to deal with some health issues, once again, the staff has rallied around her. I can’t say enough about the amazing warmth we feel from the staff and the personalized approach to all they do for her as her needs change. I can’t thank everyone enough for taking such good care of our mother!

My Mother and Father-in-law both had recent stays at Judson Health Center,. Mom went through rehab for a hip fracture and Dad for post acute care following a surgical procedure. Some of that time they were at Judson simultaneously! The care they both received was simply excellent. The attention to their medical needs as well as their emotional needs during an uncomfortable time enabled them and the entire family to rest assured that they were in the best place possible. We are very thankful that we have such a wonderful resource for our loved ones.

My mother is a resident at Judson. Having worked in this industry as a facilities director, I have seen the good and not so good. Judson sets the standard of how a nursing home should operate! It is not just a nursing facility where my mom resides, it is now her home! I would highly recommend Judson to anyone looking for a caring place to have thier loved one live out a NEW life!!
Phenomenal place to bring family to live. Very nice decor. Very friendly and helpful staff. I love the fire place they have in main lobby; its amazing!!! The rehab part in the basement could use a little more work being done to it. But overall great job here.

Judson is a wonderful place. The staff really invest themselves in getting to know the residents. However the building is a maze of additions and towers. The distances for my mom to walk to events would have been unrealistic andshed get lost. Even at 90 she doesn't like anyone pushing her if she can avoid it.
The activities are exstensive and meet all levels of interest and abilities. It is asthetically beautiful with many outdoor areas and an indoor walking path , pool and exercise room. It's expensive and food is B+. Cafe is a nice alternative for lunch time.
I dont know what to really say except some days they good, so.e days they bad but most of the days they're great.

This is one of those "To each his/her own" type of things. The staff is greatly nice to me and my family and they have taken great care of my grandmother. They keep me informed on her care. They call me to even check and see how Im doing.

Yes there are a few concerns but who doesnt have them. You just have to check them oht for yourself and make your own choices.

This is the second time my grandmother has been to this place and I personally feel like if they wouldnt have done a good job then I would have found somewhere else for her to go.

So if you need somwhere to put your loved one for a short time thags close to you then Willow Tree is a good place.

I would have given them 5 stars but I have a few personal compmaints and issues that were addressed and corrected but it took me having to say something inorder for it to get done. BUT THEN THAT......

THEY ARE GREAT AND LOVING AND EVERYONE THERE LOVES MY GRANNY AND TAKES GOOD CARE OF HER.

I REALLY DO LIKE WILLOW TREE AND THE STAFF.

XOXOX

Comment: I have been seeing Dr. Mari Smith the last 8 weeks for balance issues at One on One's newest location in Smyrna. I have had very positive experiences with a number of their PTs over the last few years, and my sessions with Mari, learning about the vestibular system, are no exception. She is knowledgeable, creative, a great communicator, and delights in seeing her patients respond to treatment. I have appreciated her holistic approach to my somewhat unusual cluster of symptoms. She combines her caring spirit with a strong passion for her work, which is such a benefit for her patients. I have enjoyed the experience of rehabbing on the Alter G treadmill and highly recommend it for building strength to increase mobility. The office staff is pleasant, organized, and welcoming and the environment is peaceful and pleasant. I am grateful to have been referred there.
