We had dinner here two days in a low when we stay at Gold Coast. The seafood is fresh and all dishes are tasty. My toddler daughter loves the udon. The service is great too!

I visited twice in my recent Gold Coast visit. The staff are very kind and the food is great quality. Very fresh and portion sizing of the hot meals is very generous. I thought it was great value for money. I specifically recommend the chicken curry, s&p octopus, and the gyoza.

I would not get the uni. It was disgusting. Totally not worth the $9. The smell was a bit fishy and the taste...omg it was beyond decomposition. I'm not even exaggerating, my friends and I love sushi and have had our share around Australia. My friend spat her uni out and we left 1 behind. It was that bad. I don't even know why they decided to serve something that old.

The staff don’t remember which group of customers came first and that caused somemisunderstanding between the waiting groups. I felt that they should just give out number or write on paper the names and group sizes for those waiting to dine in to avoid unnecessary misunderstanding between different groups. Especially most groups are tourist who are exhausted from a day out and hungry. The sashimi is highly recommended. The sushi is good and is big size compare to sushi in Asian countries. The ramen is decent and you will love it if you miss Japanese food. Don’t forget to order a beer to go with the food!

Enjoyed the sushi and Japanese beer on tap.

Sushi Set B had a good variety of nigiri including uni. To top off, the rotating sushi train was filled with wonderful rolls, sushi and even some crunchy spring rolls.

The Asahi beer imported from Japan and served in an ice cold mug with a perfect amount of head was crisp, refreshing and a nice complement to the meal. Not all Asahi are the same so really appreciate the fact that they went with the made in Japan version rather the brews made abroad under the supervision of Asahi. Tastes much different.

Service was friendly at this mom and pop establishment. Got here at 5pm dinner opening to avoid the crowds.
