Efficient and friendly service with some relatively tight table seating (but the booths are roomier). We had to ask for water twice which was the only hiccup.

The Family Mashawi for 4-6 can definitely feed 6 people. The waiter constantly refilled our table with freshly baked pita so we were able to order six appetizers instead of five as there was no need for rice.

Standout dishes were the chicken kabobs and the cheese fatayir, but all of the food was flavorful.

Fantastic freshly prepared middle eastern cuisine. We had the family style dinner with 10 people in our party and we got generous portions of pretty much everything on the menu. Everything from the hummus to the grilled meat was delicious.

This is an archetype of the kind of restaurant i would like to see more of in this city.

AMAZING food. That's it. Stopped by this place for a group dinner and we arranged for a Chef's Special arrangement. We did not know what we signed up for but we all wrapped up with our tummies over stuffed with some delicious food being served all the time.

As part of the chef's special arrangement, we got their hummus, baba ghanoush, garlic fries, their freshly made pita, cheese pita, spinach pita, falafel & cauliflower plate served with rice and salad, chicken kebab plate & lamb kebab plate. Trust me when I say that EVERYTHING we ordered was beyond amazing. Food tasted fresh and definitely was made with love and passion. Portions were huge and plan on sharing meals here. Their pita is superb and is freshly made right when you walk in.

The chef's arrangement is super economical for big groups and I found it cheaper as compared to their a la carte menu which is a tad bit expensive. They have a huge space for indoor seating and then have a private space as well. This place can accommodate large groups but can be busy over weekend. Service is quick and the food is outstanding. I highly recommend this place to have a good hearty meal.

We went to Tanoor during our stay at the Hampton Inn and Suites downtown. It’s a walkable distance and had one of the highest review ratings on a restaurant near us. The food was good but to me not exceptional. We had the classic gyro which was okay. The lamb and beef shawarma was much better. The fresh bread was a huge plus. The Turkish coffee was nice. The service was as a little slow. The restaurant is very clean and well furnished. No alcohol.

I definitely give it 10/10! This is so far my favourite restaurant in (North America!) Food was amazing, the meat was so tender and tasted good. The sides and bread came in good portions and were so yummy ! Service over everything was really good and well organized I highly recommend it! 100/100

Very fancy place for family dinner or a nice date. The food could have been better according to the price tag. I would give food 3:5-4 out of 5. The quantity if huge so be mindful of what you order. The baklava are really nice to end your meal with. Try the chicken sandwich and spicy hummus. The pita breads are the best and softest I have ever eaten.

Went with a large party and service was worst part of our experience. Check only splits 3 ways. Server did not write down who ordered what. There were not enough menus. I ordered my meat cooked medium but received well done, some would say it was past well done and closer to congratulations.
