Sugar Marmalade

I ordered the banana strawberry pancake supreme, and was disappointed to find that the crepe was filled with Cool Whip instead of authentic whip cream and only a few small pieces of fruit. As you can tell by the pictures, we tried to shovel out the Cool Whip and only eat the fruit and crepe itself. We also tried the Fries Supreme: Japanese style and we really enjoyed that. Maybe this place is better for appetizers. Additionally, there was only one employee running around seating and serving everyone during a busy evening. Would’ve made service better and his life easier if there were more staff.

The food is always great here! Aside from desserts, they also have appetizers and main dishes. We got the hazelnut toast and strawberry shaved ice. They both arrived quickly! The toast was amazing and not too sweet! Would definitely recommend!

the food is really good especially the deserts. drinks are also very nice. a little more on the expensive side. only downside is the dark atmosphere, makes me feel like a naked mole rat with all the squinting i’m doing trying to look at the menu.

I have done both dine-in and take-out over the years - it is overall pretty OK, tastes good :). The take-out is pretty good, although there are inconsistencies. I've ordered Japanese style chicken and gotten the Taiwanese style instead, or sometimes toppings or add-ins on desserts or drinks are missing; like the whipped cream and biscuit advertised in the pic of the pudding (e.g., oreo macau, strawberry macau, etc.), or the limes and chopped strawberries in the strawberry Italian soda would be missing. I feel a little cheated when that happens, especially when you pay extra fees to get it delivered.

The dine-in is great- the tables and service (was served some water quickly while ordered) are nice, but the bathroom could use some work... not sure if the other one is being renovated or... Had no problem splitting the bills and such.

The food was awesome I love their desserts menu specially the shaved ice 😋

Their kimchi Fries was a 10/10 - spicy and savour and warm!

Service was quite quick and servers were kind.

I do wish they had more seating available on weekends!

Shaved ice with fruits and the popping yogurt balls are what you are looking for if you are bored with the usual Canadian desserts. This is the change you are looking for if u want something that’s not too sweet yet holds a burst of flavor! Must try once atleast 👍
Unfortunately bad customer service. Retrieved a piece of steel wool stuck my throat while dining in and server said “ok we give dish free” and walked away!
There used to be a time when dessert places offered a happy environment where we went to escape our mundane life and would get smothered with attention feeling like royalty - this is not that place at all 😂

Delicious variety of foods and dessert, I have been going here for years now! The dessert is always fresh, and they always have delicious fruits incorporated. Their toasts are also simple and delicious.

Easy service but they get really busy in the evenings so plan ahead! It’s a cozy restaurant and great for a night out with friends or for a date.

I always always have the mango roll supreme, and I love their mango pudding as well. Their sago bowls are delicious as well.

Highly recommend for someone looking to try something different in desserts.
