Delicious Taiwanese bento, very authentic! I got the railway bento - I felt like I was instantly transported back to Taiwan!

They also had cute t shirts for sale for $15 which I thought was a reasonable price!

Great Taiwanese food in Chinatown! Inside is a little small but the food was cooked quickly and the staff was nice. Recommend the chicken, sausage, and Lou rou fan!

Solid and simple popcorn chicken bento, perfect for a fast lunch. They really fill up the bowl with a lot of chicken and rice, so you won’t feel hungry after this meal.

Quite bare bones interior, with two rectangular tables and then some high chairs for solo diners.

Super fast with getting the food out, you pay at the counter and get a bento to go.

Legit Taiwanese flavours.

Enjoyed the bento boxes and the Taiwanese sausage we ordered. Seating is limited, therefore it’s better suited to take out than dine in. Very affordable considering its location and being New York. Definitely worth checking out if you’re in the area and looking for non-fussy food!

Still my top Taiwanese flavor in Manhattan.
After all these years, although the price has increased, Taiwan Bear House continues to fulfill student's most desiring taste bud of Taiwanese food with amazing bento/ lunch box.

The Pork belly bento was good. Can't taste the marinade in the tea egg but it was nice to have with the meal. There was too much rice and not enough Pork belly so the egg came in handy. The Braised Dikon that I added was good to add as well.

Nicely fried porkchop with some cabbage and a tea egg. There was a bite of an after taste with what appears to be minced meat over the rice. The porkchop and egg were good. If your willing to shell out a few more bucks for a dish that is normally under 2 digits, this is a place to try for Taiwanese food. They kept a circular hole on the cover to keep the fried pork chop from steaming which is a nice feature for a takeout.
