Never had a bad experience but today came here after my overnight shift to workout and waited for about 15 minutes and no one even came to open the gym saw a lot of people leave frustrated and best believe I was one of them.

Zero cell service, which I understand is not their fault. However, WiFi never works. Maybe worked once in last 3 years. You have to download songs to your phone to even listen to music. I only come here when I have to. It’s a black hole

This is going to be a nightmare once that day care center opens up next door. it's already horrible for parking certain hours of the day. If it wasn't for that and the fact there's only one cross cable machine, I'd give it 5 stars. Definitely clean and I love that there are 4 squat racks. I just wish they would take the screens off the treadmills. They don't work and you have a nice view of outdoors.

I used to go to a different gym on the island (Hint: it's named after a city in California) and if you read it's reviews (just look up any of their three locations), you'll know why I'm now in search of a new gym.

Can't say for any other locations but this Tottenville location is smaller than I thought but at the same time, it's super clean and the staff who signed me up was super chill (Started with a V).

I not only value how clean this location is but the other gym goers are very respectable about the equipment. Weights are racked where there need to be and everyone keep to themselves for the most part. Great gym. Can't wait for future visits.

This gym is very well kept and organized. Everything is clean and up to date. The front desk and rest of staff is very attentive and helps with anything needed. Been going here for years and never had any complaints. Also cant forget they make the best protein shakes

I seriously love this gym started 2 months ago and it has been nothing but the best for me . Almost lost 20 pounds . Also thanks to Vinny he is such amazing worker and person who
Motivate you to do better and pushes you . Always has good tips as . The boy in the morning @430 short guy lol he sweet to always . I feel very comfortable in the gym. Just have a suggestion. Can we remove the bicycle up stairs and put 1 treadmill upstairs because you have alllll the bikes upstairs you don’t need a random bike so would be awesome for a treadmill upstairs would appreciate that 2000000% Ty to who ever reads but loving this gym keeps me

Retro fitness of tottenville has the best staff and they work together in an orderly manner. I would reccomend this gym to anyone and the people who work out there are very nice and well mannered. However, there are always a few that think they are tough guys/women and act out when they are completely wrong! Also I love the FEMALE manager Sarah, she is very organized and sweet and prioritizes her customers to provide the best customer satisfaction possible! P.S if you are going to cause a scene about holding your jacket when there are locker rooms that are used for that, go find another gym respectfully. To that man who was acting out, you ruined my workout. Thank you retro for all that you do
