Ordinary water fountain. Entire Europe is filled with such fountains.

Another one of Munich's stunning detailed sculptures/fountains. It was the only fountain we saw during our visit in February, the rest are boarded up to protect them through the winter months.

Definitely one of the most beautiful fountains in the city, also used as a meeting point for tourists and locals

Interesting and historical monuments and fountains ⛲️with some sculptures inside it, just in the corner of Marienplatz.

A stone fountain with 3 young fishermen spraying the water and holding fiches. a great place with clear blue water to take a picture in Marienplatz.

Crowded on the day of visit. weather was really nice and streets were clean.
The building around this area is very historical and dated back centuries however preservation and maintenance is really excellent.
A good place for photo op or selfie.
will go again if opportunity permits.

The fountain is located in Marienplatz close to the information center. It can be easy to miss if it's really busy.
The fountain does look quite interesting with people holding buckets around the side and a single fish on the top of the fountain. The buckets all have water trickling from them. The sides of the fountain has carvings on it. It was an interesting looking fountain.
