Toy Museum Munich

Small museum in a beautiful historic building. The museum seems more like a private collection, definitely not comparable in size or quality to other toy museums. May be interesting to more serious toy enthusiasts, but for us (especially the children) it was rather boring.

Due to its location it is not designed accessibly, and there are no bathrooms (we were sent to the nearby subway station after asking).

It was ok for me and rather interesting to see the history of toys, but the name of this place is a little misleading: the only toys are in glass cases. My little sisters were rather disappointed because there aren't any interactive exhibits.

An amazing place bringing you back to childhood. Very good exibition with different toys telling their history. Lived the Steiff Teddy Bears collection and an old Barbie:)

It is old town hall which is a toy museum now. They have variety of toys before 1900. Very interesting stuff there if you like to try..

Very short quick museum. Can be done in 15 minutes. Can't play with any toys either. Could just as easily be a small private collection rather than a museum. Not really worth the price

It's a really nice place in a hidden area of the Marienplatz.
The toys there are really old but wonderful. The museum is on 4 levels and every level is a new era of toys.
I especially liked the Barbie and Ken collection, along with the teddy bears.
