I use the Christian St. Y pool and gym regularly and usually swim every morning when they open. The weekday crew is prompt and always opens on time, which I appreciate. However, I’ve noticed that they often open 10 to 15 minutes late on Saturdays.

Today was particularly frustrating. The pool opened over an hour late, and just 2 minutes into my swim, the lifeguard closed the lane I was using for an aqua aerobics class. After waiting an hour and 15 minutes to start my swim, this was very disappointing. I hope the Y can address these issues to ensure a better experience for its members.

Went for the pool and it looks lovely but I interpreted kids swim only because the Y's website said this location was available for lap swimming in the morning. Please update the information so people can plan their visits accordingly ❤️

Don't go in the pool! I joined specifically to use the pool, but after seeing that NO ONE, in the ladies locker room at least, showers before entering the pool, I canceled. It takes chlorine, etc. 30 minutes to kill what ever new bacteria is introduced. So anyone who comes in and doesn't shower before getting in the pool? We're all swimming in your funk for at least 30 minutes.

Wonderful community space. The facilities are clean, the staff is helpful and friendly, and the pool has all day availability for lap swimming, plus aqua classes. So grateful to have the Christian Street Y in my community!

Love the Christian street YMCA. A family membership is a bit pricy but it is worth the cost when we can do it.
The staff are amazing and it is a great place to work out. Kim who works in the KidZone is the best! It's a truly wonderful spot.
Other members are generally great too because the staff set the tone. People treat each other with respect and consideration in the gym area.
In my experience, the only down side is the lap swimming crowd. Lap swimmers here often have a tough time sharing and keeping the community vibe in mind - reluctant to make space or circle swim - so I usually go in with a flexible attitude and back up clothes for a dry workout!
