This cafe is just amazing 🤩 so fresh and great portion sizes.

pretty disappointed in this business. Went for a banh mi after reading great reviews. service and food was amazing, however I noticed I was charged $36.40 for a $12 banh mi as they has their machine up high and I didn't check the total.
Once I was home I realised the error and contacted them, they issued a $24.40 refund via bank transfer, then requested a chargeback from their bank?
My friend also checked her account and released she was also overcharged.
incredibly poor business practice. imagine being charged almost $40 for a single Banh mi.

I'm now on the phone to my bank trying to sort the chargeback request out.
Please check they don't overcharge you

Nice local joint. Genuine 'family run' style foodery.

Positive:
Banh Mi was on point. Highly rated. Nice flavour, full of meat and packed with all the goodness you'd expect from a great Bahn Mi.
Also was ready within a few minutes.

Negative:
Pho. The chicken Pho left of a lot to be desired unfortunately. The broth and chicken were unfortunately flavourless and this made the meal a bit of a disappointment, especially for the price.

Would go back here for the Banh Mi for sure, but not the Pho.

I don't usually have butter or pate - this place don't use butter they use mayonnaise.. I had BBQ Pork which was ok not dry, instead of the usual cucumber, carrot and red onion like other places use this place use their version of coleslaw. Staff are very friendly and shop is quite small. Overall it was a nice bahn mi just different...

Never cared for Banh Mi until I stumbled across this place while working a few doors down. Nowadays, I'm always dropping in for lunch if I'm nearby.
Love the roast pork banh mi, clearly as does the rest of the area as they're usually fairly busy, owner is lovely too.

Ordered an $11 crispy pork banh mi. Flakey crusty dry style bread. Extremely generous fillings. Includes lettuce, but also the classics eg pate, pickled carrot, coriander, spring onion, chilli etc. Very nicely cooked roast pork with super crunchy crackling. I thought the last sauce she poured over was a western styled salty brown gravy, but after chatting with the Girl it turns out to be a house-made runny hoisin. She said there might have been oyster sauce in there too. Certainly not lacking in flavour. A bit too salty for my taste, and a bit over sauced. Only hot meats available because “the boys around here don’t want cold cuts”. Barbecue pork, grilled chicken. Dim sims, potato cakes. Egg and bacon breakfast roll. Overall a very good banh mi from a tiny store that’s been going nearly a decade.

Went to try out their Bánh mì of course and it was delicious. A crunchy roll and a massive amount of filling including pâté and my choice of crispy pork. Super friendly Bánh mì lady!
