OMI Doncaster

These are the chips I ordered today. I ordered fries, not potato scraps.

The staff here always lack focus and even on quiet weekdays, they leave people standing for 2-3 minutes, fiddling with their phones.

After receiving the chips today, I’ve decided not to visit this place anymore.

I had an amazing dining experience at Omi Doncaster! The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, making us feel very welcome. The food was absolutely delicious, especially Salmon Udon Soup, with outstanding flavors, fresh ingredients, and generous portions. The overall atmosphere was very comfortable, and both the service and food exceeded my expectations. I’ll definitely recommend it to friends and will return again next time!

A great Japanese fast food . It was my first time eating there, so I asked the staff for any recommendations. The staff were very patient in introducing it. I will definitely come back again.

Been supporting OMI since its opening here many years ago. Food is decent but prices have been increasingmore and more. $49.28 for two bowls: aburi salmon and pork scotch. Had I not paid in cash, I would have further incurred card surcharges. Final straw for me, prices have gone too high, not coming back.

Omi somehow always feel like a bit of a guilty pleasure. The food is always deliciously good and consistent no matter which OMI store you go to. They serve such great Japanese fusion meals that have a main meat to choose from and you can pair it with their great variety of different sauces. My favorite is the signature teriyaki wagyu as the beef is always cooked perfectly. My next go to is the fish tempura with either wasabi mayonnaise or salted egg sauce. The popular choice is the salted egg soft shell crab which is really tasty but quite heavy. Not to mention their crepe cakes are soooo good too.
