Mixed bag but overall positive.
Grilled pork com dish was a good portion, tasty, broken rice ✅ and the nuoc mam was surprisingly good.
However the pho my partner got lacked flavour and spices. Really one of the poorest pho broths I ever have tasted.
Overall, if I were hungry and in the area I would go.

Very disappointed with my order. Ordered Vietnamese sub satay chicken. They put cooked onions which smelt and tasted stale. I had to throw the sub.
Also at the same time ordered grilled lemon grass chicken with rice. My order was not hot, nor chicken was grilled, nor tasty. Never going to order it again

This is one of my favourite Vietnamese places in Calgary. I’ve tried several things off the menu, and they’ve all been very good. Admittedly, I usually have the 31B) Satay Peanut Beef Noodle Soup. It’s my favourite pho in the city.
The prices are decent and the service is always good.

Had a sauté beef sub with can coke and side order of peanut sauce. I’m a critic for Vietnamese subs. The sub was average . Peanut sauce was extra charge and was powdered generic restaurant grade with no peanuts. The service was almost non existent and no follow up to my liking of the meal until I had finished. The waitress assumed and put a digital device in front of my face instead of asking how I would pay. I payed cash and left. The consensus is I have had better subs for less money and definitely better service.

The 31b is the best of the 3 types of pho we tried. The bun bo hue was good too. The beef and beef ball soup was decent but I’ve had better in other places. Nobody could finish the regular size coz they were huge.
We also had the pork vermicelli which was okay. My hungry husband finished his bowl.
I would highly highly recommend this place for someone craving peanut butter sate pho. I’d come back if that’s what I have a craving for but not if I’m wanting BBH or regular beef pho.
We also tried the fried pork spring rolls which was okay, honestly not the most flavourful but really basic and typical for many Vietnamese restaurants, and the salad rolls (beef) was sub par for me.
Service was fast.

Good option for Vietnamese if you’re in the area. But pretty on par with most places out there. Food came out fast but they didn’t refill the water unless asked. I remember when Vietnamese also used to be an affordable meal but easy now it’s over $20 pp. Like $10 for salad rolls. Seems clean but old.

We arrived on a Saturday at opening. There were 3 tables including us. The restaurant was spacious with lots of seating.
The menu was elaborate and covered most items one would see from a Vietnamese restaurant.
Pork spring rolls were good, no burnt spots.
Salad with lemongrass chicken was tasty. Not too salty. However, the chicken was not sliced through, and no knife was provided. Making it difficult to eat.
The sub and the ultimate vermicelli arrived at the same time. The sub slided onto the table completely when the waitress put down the plate. We asked for a replacement and she looked surprised.
The new sub came shortly. The bread was fresh. Meat to veggie ratio is the smallest we have ever seen at Vietnamese restaurants around Calgary. It was loaded with carrots. It should have been called a carrot sub instead of a satay beef sub.
Very little toping on the vermicelli as well. The taste was okay.
Overall, there are other Vietnamese restaurants that offer better food at a better price.
