Swell Mullaloo Beach

Last minute decision to go here for dinner and drinks as we wanted something by the beach. I love that it was table service for drinks and they brought it out to you! Menu was small but well put together, I like that daily specials and opted for the daily pizza which was delicious. The atmosphere was nice and relaxed with low lighting and inside and outside options. Would come here again

My friends and I thoroughly enjoyed our luncheon yesterday.
it was the perfect day to view the beach from our balcony table.
We were very impressed with our young waiter, he was extremely pleasant and nothing was too much trouble.
The lovely young lady at Reception was equally pleasant and
we all commented on how beautifully spoken she was.
Will definitely return.

Fabulous service! The young man who served us was very kind, friendly and helpful. Very happy with the service. Best service I have had! Unfortunately, some of the food was cold. Flavours were okay but it would have been nice if it was hot as it was not very enjoyable

We have been to Swell a few times now both for breakfast and dinner, and are consistently impressed with the food. The meals are delicious and the service is always friendly and reliable. We love the ever-changing/seasonal menu, as it means we can keep coming back and don't get bored of the menu.

Most recently we went here for breakfast with some friends, and had the Buttermilk Pancakes with white chocolate hazelnut ganache and blackberry compote. The portion size was fantastic and it tasted amazing. Not sickly sweet and the pancakes were cooked perfectly.
We also had the Swell Breakfast (ie. a big breakfast) and added halloumi. Also a great portion size and delicious.

We highly recommend Swell to all our local friends, and will definitely return again soon.

We arrived half an hour early but we were accommodated and given a table overlooking the ocean. A young Irish Las served us. Julia was friendly and lovely to talk to. Our meal was so generous in size we had to take some home. This was our third visit and we would definitely recommend Swell as a place to eat

I had only ever been here previously for a Christmas function which, at the time, had impressed me. So with my brother coming up from Australind and leaving it in my hands to choose somewhere to have brunch this was actually the first place that I thought of to try. It was a great decision.

I had pre-booked a table and I'm glad that I had done so as it was extremely busy on a pleasant, sunny winters day. The service was really good which can sometimes make or break a place. The food was excellent and served hot. Was there a wait for coffee and breakfast? Well sure, the place was full! Was it an issue? No, not at all.

The prices are pretty good especially for the wonderful location overlooking Mullaloo Beach. As with anything you're happy to pay for it when the food is sensational, service is great and the view/atmosphere is very pleasant.

I would not hesitate to recommend Swell to anyone seeking a seriously great restaurant.

I came across Swell Mullaloo while on a week of work on the Northside. I'll start with the staff as everyone that I had an encounter with was a good one, Swell select their staff very well, the staff are the heart ❤️ of the atmosphere around Swell.
Peta - efficient , friendly waitress and so attentive to her customers and fellow crew that she works with. Great customer service. The staff at the door are professional and helpful and will get a table ready for you as soon as one becomes available especially on a busy

Saturday or Sunday morning.
I have been back 3 days in a row so that says alot about the quality of not just the food but the atmosphere and venue, the staff and of course the view.
I would recommend for lunch the Swell Burger with chips and bloody Mary tomato sauce accompanied with a Shirley Temple mocktail. Breakfast eggs on toast with the best hash brown I have ever tasted... no lie!
I had the pancake on my last visit and as reviews can bring a little message to the chef to ignite a suggestion of improvement the pancakes could be fluffier and lighter as the mixture created a heavy pancake.
I look forward to heading back to Swell in the neat future.
